From the bathroom she walked straight into her walk in-closet, where she lotion her body and put her night clothes on, never noticing she was under watchful eyes.
Walking out the closet her eyes met the eyes of a person. Thinking "it couldn't be." Frozen out of fear and shocked she stood in between the closet doors and the entrance to her room. His face was deformed and his skin looked as if it was badly burnt. But the eyes never lied.
"Surprised to see me darling?" He asked.
"Oh my God," Aniya whispered once she heard his voice.
"How? You're supposed to be dead."
"Yeah I am, but as you can see I'm not!"
“They killed you, I know they did.”
“They tried, they thought they did but see before they left they didn’t check my pulse, I had a faint one and she saved me.”
“She…..who is she?” Aniya asked confused.
“She….look behind you.”
Turning around quickly she came face to face with…..JAYLA!
“Lord, please protect me and my baby,” Aniya prayed as she stared into Jayla’s crazed eyes.

Prologue…
Aniya was on her way home from a night out with Nicole, earlier that day she went to the doctor and was shocked with what he told her. Gavin was due back early in the morning from his trip with Gio. She didn't tell him about the doctor visit. She decided to let him know once he got home that in a couple of months they would be welcoming a new edition to their family. She was 4 months pregnant but barely showing, except for the small pouch in her stomach.
Pulling up to their home, she pulled into the garage and walked inside the house. All the lights were off. Thinking out loud,
"Did I really turn off all the lights?" Aniya asked herself.
Normally she would've kept the kitchen light on. Shrugging it off, she made her way upstairs to take a shower. Stripping naked she got in the shower.
So caught up in the feeling of becoming a mom, she didn't feel the presence of someone entering the bathroom. Standing in the corner of the room, they watched Aniya wash her body.
"Hi mommy's baby...I can't wait to meet you, I love you with everything in me and I know your father will too." Aniya said while rubbing her stomach.
Hearing that, their eyes immediately went to her stomach. Seeing the small baby bump caused anger to travel all throughout their body. Easing out the bathroom the intruder went to get the necessary equipment to take care of this problem.

Tears started rolling down her face. She wasn't scared for herself, mainly she thought of her unborn child.
"Thought you could get rid of me huh?" Jayla asked.
“What the fuck?” she asked lost. How did they know each other, why are they here. She was knocked off balance, not only was Kendrick still alive, Jayla was also here and it looked as if they knew each other.
Startling her out of her thoughts, "Turn around and walk to the bed bitch. Try something stupid and I'll shoot you." Jayla demanded.
Doing as she was told she slowly walked to the bed and sat down next to Kendrick. Grabbing her and pulling her close he whispered in her ear, "You don't have to be scared baby girl I won't hurt you."
"Break that shit up, and tie her up!" Jayla demanded. Trying to break out of Ken’s grasp she fought with him. Jayla cocked the gun then aimed it in their direction.
"Keep fighting and I'll shoot you I swear."
Crying as he handcuffed her to the bed she asked, "Why are you doing this to me?"
"Why? Because you came along and stole Gavin from me! He was MINE! We were going to start a family again but no you had to seduce him."
"I didn't seduce him he came after me..." Aniya tried to explain.
"You're lying he wouldn't just leave me! He wouldn't just go away. You made him leave me this is ALL YOUR FAULT." Pacing back and forth Jayla continued, "With you out the way he'll be sure to come back to me. He'll have no choice. I'm all he needs."
"You're crazy!" Aniya exclaimed.
"I AM NOT CRAZY. Don't call me crazy," she screamed.
"Where is he? When is he coming home?"
Refusing to answer she turned and looked at Kendrick, "I thought you really cared for me; you told me you loved me, you lied! And how do you know her?”
"I do love you; we can go far away and be together," he said while kneeling down next to the bed.
“Tell the bitch the truth,” Jayla countered back.
‘The truth? What is she talking about Kendrick?”
“Nothing…nothing, I love you, I still love you even after you tried to kill me. I forgive you, we can go away just me and you.”
"She's talking about killing me and you're down with it."
Shaking his head, “No, no, no, she's not thinking, she just wants Gavin right Jayla? If she leaves Gavin you'll let her leave with me.”
Mumbling to herself with a crazed look on her face, she was in her own world not paying attention to them.
“I’ll kill her, and say Kendrick did it and he forced me to watch. No, no, no, Gavin won't believe that, or maybe I can kill her and dump her body then pop up after, he wouldn't tie me to it. He loves me I know it and we can work on making our family again.”
“JAYLA....” Kendrick screamed. “Pay attention you bugging out!”
Figuring if she played nice to him then maybe he would protect her.
"Kenny help me please, she's going to kill me and my baby," Aniya begged.
"Baby! You're pregnant?" Asked a furious Jayla.
"She's not going to hurt you; we just need Gavin here to calm her down. Once you convince him that it's me you want to be with we can go somewhere far and raised the baby as our own."
"I’m not..." Stopping herself she realized she almost messed up. Aniya figured she could sweet talk Kendrick into letting her go, at this point she was willing to do anything to save her baby.
Looking at Aniya; with a look that could kill her, she walked up to her and punched her in her stomach.
"Ahhhhhhhhhh....." Aniya screamed.
Jumping up he grabbed Jayla and pulled her away from the bed.
"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING? HURTING HER WASN’T APART OF THE PLAN!"
"She isn't supposed to be pregnant with his baby. That’s supposed to be ME! She is trying to take everything away from me," Jayla said with a possessed look on her face. "She and that piece of shit have to go," she said while cocking her gun.
Jumping in front of her, "No Jayla we didn't come here to hurt her, just to scare her enough to make her leave with me," he said.
"MOVE Ken! Damn it! Move out the fucking way! NO ONE told you to go ahead and fall in love with her anyways. You were supposed to seduce her and get her away from
Gavin so I could get him back and then kill her."
Gasping loudly Aniya couldn’t believe it; she couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

Riding on the highway with Gio, Gavin was on his way to drop Gio home then head home to his love. He couldn't wait to see her face when he surprised her with a pink 8.5 carat engagement ring.
He still couldn't believe after everything they've been through she still allowed him to love her. The break up, the broken heart, the torture, the hustling, everything, and she still was a part of his life and he in hers. They weathered the storm and everything thrown their way, and even still, she never loved him any less. She accepted his flaws and mistakes, listened to his hopes and dreams. It was only right he asked her to be his wife. He just hoped she said yes.
Gio noticed his boy in heavy thought.
"Aye G, don't over think over there you know Niy loves the shit out of you. We both know she's going to say yes. Shit after looking at that ring I would say yes my damn self," he joked.
Laughing, "Yeah, I hear you. I can't front your boy is kind of nervous."
"How are you going to do it?" Gio asked.
"Hopefully she's asleep, so I can slip it on her finger and she'll notice it once she wakes."
"It's just like you to take the easy way out."
"Hell up G, I was thinking of doing the roses and all of that, but you know that's not me. Once she sees it I'm going to ask her to be my wife," he told him while turning onto Gio's block.
"I feel you; just make sure you let me know when she says yes."
"You already know once I pop the question she's going to run to the phone to call your sister and your girl," Gavin told him.
Laughing, "True....I'm out though." Grabbing his bags he gave Gavin a pound then exited the car.
Pulling off Gavin turned the radio on and Ginuwine “Differences” was playing, which right away made him think about Aniya. With a smile on he headed home to his future wife.
Parking his car in the driveway next to Aniya’s his smile grew even bigger, his lil mama was home. He couldn’t wait to surprise her. Walking in he tried to not make a sound, everything was turned off downstairs but he heard movement and talking coming from upstairs. Kicking his shoes off, he walked up the stairs to the end of the hall and stood in front of their bedroom.
“Jayla calm down…you’re overreacting!”
“No Ken! Move right now! I need to kill this bitch. I need her dead.”
“What the fuck? Ken and Jayla?” Gavin thought. Rushing he went to his office to grab his desert eagle. As he was running back to the room he heard a gun go off.
