She was not sure about the genre of the book. But that Keystone pipe line Is a wiring physically. If mother fire means earthquake, it made more sense. Fukushima was real. It was American made disaster. It was General Electronics made disaster. Irrevocable disaster.

A lump of hot something came out from her heart throught her throat. It was similar to lump of hot tears. She hold the pan tight. Then suddenly she started feeling warm. The coldness which always surrounded her seemed to disappear.

Ana started thinking again with that warmth. Ana started looking for an ideal operating system for her current job.
'Little summary: popular modern operating systems; Android, BSD, Linux(?), QNX, sharing roots in UNIX.'
She was thinking about herself if she has a baby. Because she thought an operating system has to work like her own body without noticing very much. Like fingers, eyes, brains and uterous etc. So, for example;
user: god or multiple gods
operating system: a woman with a kid or kids (Ana in future)
hardware: human
software programs: multitasking including earning money, housekeeping, cooking, looking after kids, dealing a husband and his family
The following is what she found from Wikipedia and her daggling thoughts about each current operating systems.
'UNIX: multitasking, multiuser.
Windows: single user; can change users but never work smoothly. It jammed my Acer before. A goner. That's how MS made so much money by using people's stupidity, encouraging more stupidity.
Apple OS: I just don't like it. Personal taste. Then again. They did something very absurd and greedy. I had to ditch out my ipad-touch because its OS is too old. I could not upgrade OS as it will burn the whole hardware.
Linux Ubuntu: Nasa is using.
*Android: ready-made, low-cost and customizable operating system for high-tech devices.

If I am an operating system, of course I don't like multiusers. I quite like Solaris as it has limited access. But then again, Android looks so cool and tough before Google fiddled. I don't want a left over food either. Something about Linux. So potential? But I remember that Stallman. He was continuously eating his nails. Yuck... Anyway where is this Henry? Wherever he is, to me, Solaris is the answer for the time being.

'Shit, is this San Francisco?'
She could not believe her eyes. San Francisco was one of her favorite cities. Bright, sunny, hilly and windy. Now the city was half abandoned and half detroyed. Big empty buildings, smokes everywhere. Singers were like orphans, street dogs. What happened? Is this real or is this whole thing dramatized? Grotesque. No one on the roller coaster. A cursed city.

Ana did not know whether the above is from the book she is reading or from her own mind. She had these prophetic minds time to time. She saw something so vivid. One third of America was in water. It was so vivid she could draw a map of the line. When she saw the line of Keystone pipeline, she got so scared. That line matched the line. One third of America. Mostly north east part as if they had cancer in the large intestine, and the whole gut was taken out.

My reasoning: Keystone pipeline can work as a wiring. Pipes full of oil. Map out 28 remained GE reactor mark 1. Map out the thermal shifts in underground. Earthquake + oil pipes + faulty reactors. What do you think? What do you think? One trigger can cause all this. Do you still want to do it? If you still want to do it, I have to ask why. No time to think.
