"It's okay, Annie," he whispered. "You can touch it."
Timidly, she placed her hand around his width, to get a feel for it. He intended to put that inside her? Softy, she caressed him with her hand. He moaned. "Oh, Annie, you're killing me."
She immediately pulled her hand back. "I'm sorry."
He grinned. "No, I meant that in a good way, baby. You're fine."
He tweaked her nipple between his finger and thumb and moved down to massage that special place again. How did he seem to know that place made her go crazy? She hadn't even known that! When he slowly inserted one finger inside her, to stretch her slightly, she jumped.
"It's okay, baby," he murmured in her ear.
As she relaxed again, she began to become aroused. The fire seemed to be building again, and when he placed a second finger inside her, she arched her hips forward, urging him to continue.
When he felt she was sufficiently ready for him, he removed his fingers. Kissing her again, he whispered when he released her lips, "Are you ready, Annie?"
"Yes," she moaned. "Please."
He took a condom from the table and rolled it over his erection. Slowly, he positioned himself above her. As gently as he could, he moved to her entrance and carefully began to push himself inside.
Annie tried to relax, but she was anticipating the worst.
"Baby, relax, try to, anyway. I promise it will only hurt for a few seconds."
Something about Jack's voice soothed her and gave her the courage she needed. She went limp in his arms, waiting. She felt the slight twinge as he pushed past her barrier. When he asked if she was okay and she nodded, he began to move inside her. Jack kissed the top of her head and continued to build a rhythm. Soon, Annie started to move with him, arching her back and hips. The sensations were delightful and she instinctively wrapped her legs around his waist, enabling him further entrance.
Jack was patient with her, as he moved at her pace, letting her get used to having him inside her. It wasn't until he felt her body start to shudder again that he allowed himself to enjoy his own release.
Lying on his chest, later, after he'd pulled the old switcheroo act again, he asked, "Are you all right, Annie?"
She looked up at him as he caressed the top of her head, entangling his fingers in her red hair. "I've never been better, Jack."
"Annie," he said.
"Yes, Jack?"
"I love you."
Startled at actually hearing him speak those three little words, she grinned, the smile stretching all the way across her face.
"I love you, too, Jack."
"Goodnight, my love."
He rolled over and pulled her into their favorite spooning position again.
Annie would always remember that a snowstorm brought them together, finally, and she had the feeling that she would wish for snow often, in the days and years to come.
