A taxi pulls to a stop on the street behind a parked N.O.P.D. squad car. Richard exits the cab, approaches the iron gate.
INSIDE THE COURTYARD
Two POLICE OFFICERS speak with the building's SUPER. One of the officers spots Richard.
POLICE OFFICER
Hey, aren't you Richard Haggerty? I'm a huge fan. Huge.
RICHARD
Thanks.
POLICE OFFICER
How'd you find out?
RICHARD
I'm sorry?
POLICE OFFICER
About the missing girl. Chandra Wells.
RICHARD
At the execution.
POLICE OFFICER
Of course. We're about to check the apartment. The super's getting the key. Want to go in with us?
