Papa's Prisoner Page 7

by Alice Everly

After washing her hair, Lydia drained the tub and dried off with the fluffy white towel he’d set on the counter. She was feeling like a grown up again, already taking care of things herself. She wrapped the towel around her shoulders and went into the bedroom.

Her clothes were all still in the suitcase so she dragged it to the middle of the floor and opened it, beginning to dig through it. She found a clean pair of panties and a new dress. Quickly dressing, she went in search of Brian.

“Are you feeling better sweetheart,” he greeted her with a smile, turning from the stove where he was cooking something that smelled delicious.

Lydia nodded at his question and he turned back to the pan that was on the burner. She wasn’t sure what to say, she felt so awkward and embarrassed. She was a grown women and she’d wet herself like a little baby. How could she have done something so humiliating? Not to mention it was the first time he’d left her alone. He’d trusted her to be a grown up and she’d acted like a little baby.

She moved to stand beside him, wishing she had the words to make all this better, to make herself feel better about what she’d done.

“Do you like spaghetti?” he asked with a smile as if he didn’t even remember the incident. She nodded.

She watched him cooking for a minute before speaking up, “I’m really sorry about wetting myself,” she said quietly.

She knew he heard her because he stopped stirring the pot. Setting the spoon down, he turned to her and lifted her chin with his finger so she was looking him in the eyes.

“Accidents happen Lydia,” he said deliberately, he leaned in and pressed his lips against her forehead, her stomach flipped wildly with delight at how sweet and kind Brian was, “It’s been taken care of, you’re all clean and fresh smelling and it’s already forgotten.”

“But I was bad,” the words were but a whisper, but they hit home as she saw Brian’s eyes questioning her, “I think I need to be punished since I was a bad girl,” her firm words bellied her large scared eyes that were already filling with tears, but she couldn’t look away from him.

“I don’t think you were a bad girl, Lydia,” he said softly.

“But I was,” she said adamantly, “I really really was.”

Brian sighed, “Do you want a spanking, Lydia? Would that make you feel better?” he asked evenly.

Lydia shrugged her shoulders. She was so confused. She knew she’d been bad by wetting her panties. She was far too old to be having accidents. Yet, she also knew that Brian wouldn’t spank her for it if she said no.

She certainly didn’t like getting spankings, but at the same time she knew she was bad and felt awful about it and she knew she’d feel better if he corrected her for it. Brian seemed like a kind and caring man, but he was still good friends with Papa, and she knew Papa would have beaten her with the strap if he knew that she’d wet her pants. She also knew that Brian spanked too, just like Papa did, because he’d spanked her at Papa’s house before. She was so confused about it all.

“Well,” Brian interrupted her musings, “when you figure out what you want, we’ll discuss it. But for now, we’re going to eat our spaghetti.”

At dinner, Brian asked her about what she’d done during the day. She told him all about the television and how she’d tried really hard to figure out the remote and how confusing it was with all the buttons.

“But I figured it out,” she said proudly with a wide smile as she continued to eat the spaghetti.

“You’re a smart girl,” Brian said with such confidence she almost believed him.

She told him about the television show she watched. He told her that he’d seen it before and it was one of his favorite shows too. Lydia smiled at him and felt even closer to this man. How odd that she could know him for only 24 hours but she felt so close to him as if she’d known him for years.

After they finished eating, Brian showed her how to rinse off the dishes and put them in the dishwasher.

“I’ll continue making the meals, but I want you to be responsible for doing the dishes.”

“I’ll be good at it,” she said proudly, “I promise.”

“Lydia,” Brian turned to her, “It’s okay to make mistakes. I want you to know that I’m not going to spank you like Papa did. I’m not going to do anything to you that you don’t want me to.”

She nodded at him and felt a weight lift from her shoulders. What if he was someone she could trust? Maybe he wasn’t just like Papa. Maybe everything was going to be okay for the first time in years. Was all this too much? Was it too good to be true?

After dinner was cleaned up, Brian sat with her in the living room and watched one sitcom with her. She curled up next to him on the couch and snuggled in closer to his side. When he put his arm around her and pulled her closer, her heart stuttered in her chest. It was the best moment in her life, laughing, snuggled up to a kind and handsome man. She felt for just a moment as if she was completely protected and safe in his arms.

The reality of what she had to do though was weighing on her. She had a hard time concentrating on the end of the show because she’d been thinking about it for so long. She had to do it. She knew she’d feel better if she just did it. She started to fidget as the credits started running.

Lydia looked up at him, “Brian,” her voice sounded shaky, strained, “I think I need that spanking for wetting my panties, I think I really need that,” she looked down, twisting her fingers together in her lap, “I don’t want a spanking,” she confessed, “I don’t want it to happen at all, but I know that it will make me feel better about what I did.”

“Are you sure this is what you want?” Brian asked easily.

Lydia nodded, standing up and facing him. Her fingers were shaking as she lifted the hem of her dress and hooked her fingers in her panties. She pulled them down to her knees, her knees nearly knocking together as she stood back up. She wasn’t sure if she would have the willpower to actually put herself over his knee, so she was relieved when he reached for her, guiding her over. A whisper of air brushed across the back of her thighs as he flipped the hem of her dress up, exposing her bare backside.

“You’re a big girl Lydia,” he began, his right hand sitting innocently on the mound of one cheek, “I know it was an accident when you wet your panties, but we don’t want that to happen again, do we?”

She shook her head and let out a moan when his hand raised and fell with a sharp smack on her bare skin, the slap echoing in the room.

Brian spanked hard, she knew that from before when he spanked her at Papa’s house, but this spanking seemed to be far worse. Not because he spanked so hard, but because she felt so bad for what she’d done. She felt bad for disappointing him. She was bawling like a baby within seconds.

He kept spanking until her entire backside was on fire and she had long kicked off her panties. When he stopped, he rested his hand on her warm round bottom again.

“I’m proud of you Lydia,” he began, “for having the courage and strength to ask for your spanking,” he lowered her dress and lifted her to standing, “You’re a very good girl for asking for it, especially when you didn’t want it. That shows character,” he smiled at her, “now I want you to go upstairs, brush your teeth, put your pajamas on and climb into bed. I’ll be up in a few minutes to tuck you in.”

She nodded then threw herself into his arms, hugging him tightly before turning to the leave the room.

“Wait,” he stopped her, reaching to the floor and picking up her panties, “don’t forget these,” he held them out to her.

She mumbled a thanks, snatching the panties from his hand and running from the room. It wasn’t until she was already in her pajamas that she realized this was the first spanking she’d ever gotten where she actually felt much better afterwards.

  Chapter Nine

Brian watched Lydia running from the room, a smile spreading across his face. She was so darn cute, he thought, and she was adorably charming. He couldn’t help but be smitte
n by her.

She’d been through a lot, and he knew there would be even more things she’d have to deal with in her future, but she seemed like she’d be resilient. She had a strength in her that she hadn’t realized was there.

He would love to keep her for his own, but he knew it would never be possible, not with the life he had. The fact that he’d been attracted to the woman the moment he saw her with that evil man didn’t matter. He was a simple man who lived a simple life. The life Lydia had sought with Mike Christopher was not a life that Brian was interested in having. Although he’d done extensive research into BDSM and DDLG, it just wasn’t something that he ever saw himself engaging in, with anyone. Although he couldn’t deny that he was not only attracted to her, but his body reacted every time he spanked her. Feeling her over his lap, her body warm and so trusting, it was a feeling that he could drown in.

Brian sat on the couch thinking while he could hear her moving about upstairs. Her soft footsteps making him smile once more. His fingers drew through his hair and he cursed under his breath, what the hell was he going to do with her? Why was he so drawn to this woman? She may wear clothes that looked juvenile, and sure she seemed so naïve and innocent, but he also saw the intelligence in her eyes. She was a grown woman and she knew it, but why was she so insistent on hiding behind this childlike persona? If he kept her in his home long term, to protect her and make sure she was safe of course, would it be so bad that she wanted to act childlike. Isn’t that what most adults want, just a few moments away from the stress and responsibilities of life?

Was this a life that he could get used to? For Lydia? He’d promised her that he’d protect her, but he was beginning to wonder if maybe he wanted more. He’d had her for only 24 hours but he felt like this was so right. He enjoyed taking care of her, and all day he’d felt better knowing she was at home, safe and sound. She needed him and he liked that he could be that protection for her that she so desperately craved.

He had to admit that spanking her was a hardship, he really didn’t like hurting her. Yet, he’d sure enjoyed seeing her naked little bottom as it wriggled on his lap, turning from pink to red. He also couldn’t deny the proof of how much he liked it based on the uncomfortable bulge in his pants. Just thinking about her wriggling on his lap again had him rising to attention. He shifted on the sofa, trying to ease the discomfort.

He obviously knew she wasn’t a child. She was a grown woman with a grown woman’s body and a grown woman’s mind. She could stay home alone and she didn’t burn down the house. She just liked being cared for, was that really so weird? Was there any harm in that? He liked taking care of her, a lot. He rubbed his hand over his face roughly. What the hell was he thinking? He needed to stop.

“You have a girlfriend you jerk,” he muttered.

Remembering that, he realized that he still needed to tell Katie about Lydia, he sighed. It wasn’t like they were exclusive, he reasoned as he remembered Lydia curled up next to him in the bed the night before, her head pillowed on his chest. He hadn’t felt that good in a long time. It wasn’t wrong was it? He and Katie had a good time together but they’d never said they were exclusive or really even very serious.

He needed more time to think about things. He turned off the television and climbed the stairs, smiling as he saw Lydia tucked into his bed and under the quilt, her eyes smiling at him when he walked into the room. Just seeing her there, in his bed, made his heart stutter.

“Did you get everything ready for bed?” he asked, pulling his shirt off.

She nodded, turning toward him as he got into bed.

Brian turned out the lamp and as the room was curtained in darkness, suddenly the situation between them didn’t seem so complicated anymore. He pulled her body closer to his, she fit so perfectly into his side. He put his arm around her as she pillowed her head on his chest again, her warm breathe tickling his chest.

“Brian,” she asked, feeling more confident talking to him within the safety of darkness as if she could talk more freely in the absence of his gaze.

“Hmm?” he said, already relaxing into the bed.

“Would you be okay with it if I called you Daddy?” she asked, “I mean, I know I have a dad, I remember him, but I haven’t seen him in so long,” she hurried on, “I know you told me to call you Brian, but it’s just so weird. I mean I called Papa, Papa, for so long and I’d sure really like to have you as my new Papa, but I don’t want to call you Papa because I didn’t like what Papa did to me, but I really like you.” She said in a rush, “I mean I like how nice you are to me and even though you spank me sometimes, you aren’t as mean as Papa and you take care of me like a Daddy would.”

Brian was silent for a long time, his heart breaking for the woman. She said she’d had a dad but hadn’t seen him in a long time. His heart ached for her, there were so many dead beat dads who walked out on families when times got tough. He’d seen it over and over and the impact it had on the family left behind. The poor girl was probably seeking a father figure when she got tangled up with Mike Christopher. She just wanted to be taken care of and the man had used and abused her. Well, Brian had the opportunity to show her what it was really like to be loved and cared for. He could help her heal.

Would it be so awful if she did call him Daddy? He really was all she had in this world at this point in time, was it going to be such a problem for her to call him that? He said he didn’t want this DDLG lifestyle, he truly thought it wasn’t what he’d ever be able to get into the mindset like people in the lifestyle. But now, here with Lydia snuggled up to him, her body pressed against him so sweet and innocent, he didn’t find it quite so distasteful as he had before. He sure did enjoy taking care of her, and he was starting to enjoy her sweet exuberance and charming innocence.

“I’ll tell you what, Lydia,” he said into the darkness, “you can call me anything you want,” he kissed the top of her head.

“Okay,” she said, “goodnight Daddy.” She whispered and it wasn’t as weird as Brian thought it would be.

“Goodnight Lydia,” he replied with a smile.

He couldn’t remember the last time he’d felt so right with a woman beside him. Lydia seemed to fit so perfectly with him like a missing puzzle piece that was finally clicked into place. The fact that he’d be content with her curling up to him every single night was far scarier than the fact that he still wasn’t sure what relationship she’d really had with Mike Christopher.

The next morning, Brian took Lydia to the station with him. He didn’t want her out of the house at all, but he didn’t trust anyone except those he knew at the station. It took him a lot to convince the station psychologist to work with Lydia, but he had promised he’d bring donuts in each morning for a month if she took on Lydia. The woman sure loved her sweets so she’d caved.

“I don’t need to see a doctor, I’m fine.” Lydia was nearly dragging her feet as he held her hand and directed her into the station.

“This isn’t a normal doctor,” he explained, “this doctor is a psychologist,” he explained, “she helps people with all the bad thoughts they have.”

“I don’t need anyone to help me, I don’t have bad thoughts only good ones now,” she pouted.

“Hey now,” Brian stopped, turning to her, “everyone could use someone to talk to.”

“I talk to you, isn’t that enough?” she said sullenly.

He laughed, “I love talking to you Lydia, but I think you’d like talking to a professional. You know I even talk to her.”

“You do?” She narrowed her eyes, “you have bad thoughts too?”

He nodded, “I see a lot of bad things with my job so I need to talk to her so she can help me get rid of those bad thoughts.”

“She can help me forget things?” she asked.

“Not really forget them,” he corrected, “just help you realize that those thoughts don’t have power over you.”

“I don’t get that,” she said simply, “but I
ll meet this doctor like you want me to, but I’m not promising I’ll talk to her.”

“Fair enough,” he said with a grin.

“You must be Lydia,” the therapist greeted them with a smile, “I’ve got this Bishop,” she said to Brian, effectively dismissing him.

“Why’d you call him Bishop?” Lydia asked, feeling comfortable with the woman instantly.

“Well around the station, we all tend to call the officers by their last name because that’s what they’re used to. His nametag says Officer Bishop, not Officer Brian.”

Lydia giggled, she couldn’t imagine calling him Officer anything.

Brian left the two women alone and went to finish up some paperwork. He really wanted to go home with Lydia once she was done with the therapist.

After an hour he went back to the therapist’s office to pick Lydia up.

“Can I speak to you for a moment Bishop?” she asked as soon as he arrived.

“Uh sure,” he said looking around for something for Lydia to do while they talked. He pulled a dollar out of his wallet, “Why don’t you go to the vending machine right over there,” he pointed down the hall, “grab yourself a snack.”

She looked at the dollar then back up at him, “anything I want?” she looked skeptical.

“Anything you want,” he said smiling as she yanked the dollar out of his hand and took off down the hall.

“Come on in,” the therapist said, leading him into her office and closing the door.

  “So how’d it go?”

“She’s been through a lot of trauma,” she began and he nodded, “it’s going to take a while before I can really get to the bottom of everything, but I think it’s best that for the time being you keep it status quo with her.”

“What do you mean?” he said slowly.

“She told me that she calls you Daddy,” she raised her brows.

“She asked me and I just told her to call me whatever she wanted.”

“I wasn’t judging Bishop,” she said with a smile, “I think calling you Daddy makes her feel safe and right now that’s what she needs most of all. Safety.”
