Nimue swiveled in her seat to look at her. “What did he say?”
“Just call him,” Makir said.
Malcolm called Obadiah on a three-way call with Halek. “Hey is everything okay?”
“Yes,” Malcolm said. “We’ll fill you in. What did you call for?”
“Tiaret and Heris have found a new lead on Caelieus. He disappeared off of the ship he was on. The crew listed him as drowned, but they got a hit on one of his credit cards at a hotel in Shanghai. They checked the footage, and you’ll never guess who was with him.”
Malcolm’s stomach dropped. “Lother.”
