by Adams, M. L.

Coes was glad they weren’t sticking around. Although she had a feeling it wouldn’t be the last time she’d see the two men.

Woodyard looked at Coes and asked, “So what happened?”

Coes frowned as she stared at the log.

  “We were hacked.”

  Acknowledgements

Since this is my first novel, I’m going to go way back and thank my parents for instilling a love of reading in me. I’m not sure how many hours of sleep I lost reading Choose Your Own Adventure books when I was a kid, but it had to be significant. I’d also like to thank Mrs. Watson, my third and fourth grade teacher, for being the first to encourage me to write. Sure, it took thirty-two years, but here we are.

For providing feedback on early drafts, many thanks to Matt and Danielle Miscio, Kevin Sauer, Shaun Hoskinson, Kathryn Stabrawa, and Kate Ariga. To my editor, Laurie Laliberte, who read through the rough stuff and gave me invaluable feedback. To all my friends and family who listened to ideas and pushed me forward.

And finally, to my wife and kids: I couldn’t have done this without you.

  About the Author

M.L. Adams was born in the Midwest and raised in Colorado. His parents, both avid readers, instilled a love for books at an early age. His 3rd and 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Watson, encouraged a passion for writing. Cyber Dawn includes many of his experiences as a childhood cancer survivor and amputee. He still lives in Colorado with his wife and two children.
