Excited squeals rose from the girls and a huge grin broke out across Randall’s face. The children all began to talk at once. “Shh!” Kelly admonished. “Remember. Absolute secrecy.”
“We’re good at secrets,” Tammy said, and when Kelly cocked her head skeptically, the little girl reminded her, “You and Daddy didn’t know we planned your ceremony.”
Kelly laughed. “True. Okay, I trust you. And now…” She straightened to see her husband a little way off, love lighting his eyes as he held out his hand to her. “Max is waiting for me.”
