The Genesis Group Page 58

Choc was able to maintain his stoic expression, but he was shocked by what he saw. He lowered his head to keep the relief he was feeling from showing in his eyes because Luther clearly did not know the man he had was not Trent.

Luther ripped the tape off Kenyah’s mouth. “He’s not Trent!” she shouted. “This is not my husband!”

Luther cut Basin an amused look. “This is not your husband? She says this is not her husband, Basin,” he repeated mockingly in his musical voice.

Jeff stood up, and strolled over to the side of the table where they were. He propped a hip up on the corner of the table in front of Kenyah and spoke directly to her. “Traveling separately was smart, but I have identified you as Kenyah Real. Your mistake was traveling with Severe Payne. I was using facial recognition software to locate her. I got a hit on her at the airport, and since she was traveling with you. I ran a search on you. I was able to identify you as Kenyah Real through your employee identification photo in the M-Style data base. Trent Real was listed as your emergency contact. I did a little more digging and was able to find his connection Choc, Genesis, and Lincoln’s arrest. There were no photos of him on file anywhere, so I didn’t actually know what he looked like until my men followed you to the hotel where he was registered as Desmond Fox. It was smart to use the name of your co-worker as his alias.”

Kenyah looked at Choc first, and his eyes bore into hers meanly. After a brief moment of hesitation, she returned her gaze to Jeff. “This is the real, Desmond Fox.”

“Are you telling me that this man. The man my men found you naked with in that hotel room in Paris is not your husband?” he laughed like she had told a joke.

“His name is Desmond Fox, and I’m having an affair with him. Trent was with Melvin Ryan, and some more people who work for Genesis, on Bender’s island when I left for Paris with Severe, Samantha, and Chanay. Melvin moved us off the island in groups,” she confessed.

“You know where the others went?” Luther’s mood turned dark instantly, expressing the seriousness of his desire to have that information.

“If you let us go. I will tell you all that I know,” she said.

“She doesn’t know anything that I haven’t already told you, Luther,” Jeff said. “I know you want to save him, baby, but you can’t.”

“I know the names of the other people on the island,” she shouted.

“I’ve already given you the names of the known survivors, Luther,” Jeff responded. “Can you tell us where they are now, because that would be useful information,” he stood up and walked over to where Choc was tied up.

“No, I told you that Melvin sent us out in groups, and he didn’t tell us who was in the other groups or where they were going. Mine was the second group to leave. I went with Severe, Chanay, and his wife, Samantha, to Paris. They were staying in the same hotel with me.” She looked over at Choc, and he knew what she was going to say next.

Choc clamped his jaw shut tight to keep from screaming, bitch shut up! She was willingly telling everything that she knew, and he hoped to God she didn’t know anything that would jeopardize the safety of the others.

“Choc and Rayce was the only group to leave before us. He can tell you where to find her.”

“My man found her already. I’m sorry to say that she is dead. She met with an unfortunate accident,” Jeff said, and then pulled the custom silver plated Walther PPK from his pocket. “You gave her this, didn’t you, Choc?” he asked, but he already knew that he had.

Choc recognized it immediately. He’d given it to Rayce for her 30th birthday. He had loved her, and once again his temper threatened to boil over, but he held it back to a slow simmer, kept his mouth shut, and stared blankly at Jeffrey.

“I never meant for her to die, Choc. I owed her the same as I owe you, but she resisted the abduction,” he said, and then he turned and spoke to Luther. “The woman is stalling. She can’t tell you anything that I don’t already know because Melvin Ryan wouldn’t risk that kind of information with someone like her.” He started to walk back to his seat.

“You said that Desmond Fox works at M-Style with me, so you can access his employee photo like you did mine,” she shouted. “It’ll prove that you don’t have Trent.”

  “Do it, Basin,” Luther ordered.

Jeffrey stopped walking and turned back to them. “You don’t really believe this bitch, do you?”

“I would like you to verify it, please,” he asked, but the way his men came to attention, made it clear that it was not a request he had the option to refuse.

Jeffrey shrugged his shoulders, and then typed something on his handheld tablet. He walked over to Luther and handed him the tablet. “You’re in the company’s secured employee files. Type any file name you want to see,” he said, and then waited.

Luther typed in the name, Desmond Fox, and the employee identification picture appeared on the screen with all his pertinent personal data.

Luther looked at Kenyah, and then gave the tablet back to Basin who walked over to Choc and showed him the picture that Luther had been looking at. “This is Desmond Fox, and although he wears a goatee like me and your brother, he is not nearly as handsome. You can’t fool me by using false credentials,” he stared Choc in the eyes for a beat before he turned from him. “Stop letting the bitch jerk you around with lies, Luther, and let’s get on with it,” he said, and then went back to his seat in the corner.

Choc was surprised that the picture Basin had shown him was Trent. Apparently, he had switched them, and by doing so, he had made it clear that he was aware that Luther had the wrong man. Choc finally believed that he was working against Luther, not for him.

“Your husband is a pig who tricked Lincoln and Xena into trusting him. I admire your loyalty to him, but enough of the lies.” Luther pulled her head back against him and rubbed his hand up her throat. “I hope he loves you as much as you love him. I want you to watch every second of what I’m about to do to him,” he leaned down and kissed the top of her head.

Kenyah squeezed her eyes shut. She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. He had seen the picture, so he had to know he didn’t have Trent. “Choc, please tell them he is not Trent,” she shouted.

Choc couldn’t believe she was asking him to sacrifice his brother to save her lover, and he gave her a look that said, bitch, fuck you.

Determined to make Luther believe her, she spoke to him when Choc didn’t respond. “This is not the man you want. Choc can tell you where to find Trent,” she insisted.

Luther peeled the tape off Desmond’s mouth, and then bent down and spoke directly into his face. “You didn’t kill my brother, but you fucked him. So I am going to fuck you, and make your woman watch.”

“Nooooo, she’s telling the truth. I’m not Trent Real, I tell you! I’m Desmond Fox. I was in Paris to meet my wife and kids, not Kenyah.”

“You two must really think Luther is stupid,” Jeff chuckled derisively.

“We’re telling the truth!” Desmond shouted. “I swear we’re telling the truth.”

Luther ignored his protests, and walked around behind him. “Your brother is a weeping pussy, Charlie Baltimore,” he grinned as he pushed his pants down under his buttocks, and released his erection. “I can see that you are not,” he said when Choc pinned him with a hateful gaze.

“Please man, don’t do this. Choc, please don’t let him do this,” he pleaded, which only made it seem like he really was Choc’s younger brother.

“I hope that you’re a virgin because I like virgins,” Luther chuckled.

He took hold of Desmond’s butt cheeks, and spread them with his hands. He positioned his erect penis without using his hands, and then tore into Desmond’s anus with a driving thrust that brought him up on his toes.

Desmond screamed in protest, and then cried for mercy when Luther rammed his dick into his rectum again and again. Kenyah shut her eyes to keep from looking at the tears running down his face. “Make her watch,” Luther ordered on
e of his men.

He walked up behind Kenyah and put his gun to her head. “Watch or I’ll kill you.”

Kenyah opened her eyes and looked at Desmond’s tortured face. Luther stopped moving and slapped him on his ass, and it wasn’t just pain she saw in Desmond’s face, but humiliation and shame when Luther wrapped his arms around him and rubbed his chest caressingly.

Luther looked her in her eyes while he rested his chin on Desmond’s back, and rubbed his hands up and down the backs of his thighs.

Desmond dropped his head forward and tried to hide his face from her, but Luther fisted his hair and yanked his head back. “Look at your woman while I am fucking you,” he ordered.

  “Please stop,” his voice trembled.

Luther took hold of Desmond’s hips, and then stood upright. He exhaled a long breath, and then he started pounding into him so hard it shook the table underneath him.

  “PLEASE STOP!” he wailed shamelessly.

Choc watched with a solemn face, and he didn’t utter a solitary sound. It wasn’t the first time he’d seen a man raped. It was something that happened all the time in prison shows, but this was the first time he’d seen it up close and personal. It was real demeaning for Desmond, but it would have been equally as demoralizing for him had Luther really been fucking his brother.

It wasn’t quick like the prison movies’ rapes. Luther was taking his time, and he was being unnecessarily brutal. He kept stopping to keep from ejaculating to make it last longer. Choc didn’t have any love for Desmond, but it was still painful for him to watch, even though he couldn’t bring himself to feel sorry for the man who was fucking his brother’s wife.

“Make sure his brother is watching,” Luther ordered.

Choc could tell Luther was enjoying being watched as much as he was enjoying the sodomy. He was getting off on Desmond’s pain and crying, and Choc wished to God he would stop.

“This is going to feel as good to you as it does to me before I’m finished,” he stopped again, and whispered something in Desmond’s ear that made him stop screaming for mercy, and start crying silently.

Desmond squeezed his eyes shut, and moaned in his throat pitifully, when Luther started up again. He was pumping him slower now, and using long grinding strokes like he was making love to a woman instead of punishing a man. “Look your woman in her eyes so she can see how much you enjoy being fucked by a big man,” he grunted.

“I hate to rush your lovemaking, but we really need to get moving,” Jeff said from the corner.

“Ernest, help me out,” Luther grinned.

The man he called Ernest smiled like he’d been offered a treat. He put his gun down, and got down on his knees under the table, and took Desmond’s penis in his mouth. He moaned loudly while he sucked it, and played with Desmond’s balls.

“That’s it, Earnest, I’m feeling it now. Don’t take your eyes off us, Baltimore,” Luther warned when Choc glanced over at Jeff in the corner. He had his tablet out and was working diligently instead of watching the sex show.

After several more long minutes, Luther ejaculated, making obnoxious grunting sounds. He pulled out of Desmond, whose body was slick with sweat and his face wet with tears.

Luther used a few moist towelettes to wipe the blood off his dick before he put it back in his pants. “Now, I feel much better,” he blew out a long breath before he walked over to Choc. “You like watching your brother have sex, Baltimore?” he grinned.

“Can I do him, too,” Ernest asked hopefully. He smiled and showed a mouth full of stained yellow teeth.

Choc shifted his eyes to him, and his hard expression didn’t change. His feet weren’t bound, and he silently vowed to kick the fuck outtá the yellow teeth muthafucka if he attempted to touch him.

“Please remember our agreement, Luther,” Jeff walked out the corner, and the six men he had with him stood at attention.

“I will honor it. As long as you remember I want Ice on a table like that in one week, or I will start doing things my way. I enjoyed fucking your brother. I have decided to take him with me. I will give him back when Ice is delivered to me.”

“Don’t kill or maim him, Luther,” Jeff warned.

He gave Jeff a perfunctory nod, and then walked out the exit door. His men took Desmond off the table. They pushed his arms into a terry robe, and he stared back at Choc as they dragged him out behind Luther.

“Nooooo, don’t take him,” Kenyah cried after them in a loud voice.

When they were gone, Jeff walked over and put Choc’s gun, phone, shirt, the key to his cuffs, and a slip of paper on the table. “I’m sure you can free yourself,” he said. “It wasn’t pretty, but it was a necessary compromise. As you probably have figured out, Luther was listening, so I couldn’t speak freely. I don’t want to turn Ice over to Luther. I want to kill him myself. Give him that message, and tell him to name the place to meet.”

Choc was amazed by his level of confidence. He actually thought he was colder than Ice. Choc still didn’t speak. He pulled his legs up into a pike position, and then flipped over so that his hands were in front of him, and then he lifted his wrists up off the pulley hook, and untied the cuffs from the ropes.

He moved unhurriedly, and walked over to the table, and picked up the key. He unlocked the cuffs, and then took them off, and placed them on the table.

Choc took a moment to rub the circulation back in wrists one at time, and then he picked up his shirt, and put it on. He kept his eyes fastened on the table like he was deep in thought while he slowly buttoned it.

“Choc, hurry up and untie me,” Kenyah ordered. “Why didn’t you tell him the truth?” She had spent the last twelve hours in a shipping crate with Desmond in a cargo plane. She was hungry, dirty, and feeling sick to her stomach from watching Desmond being raped.

“You will honor our agreement?” Basin asked.

“Yeah,” he said, and then picked up his phone and the slip of paper and pushed them into his back pocket.

Choc picked up Beauty, checked the load, and then without saying a word to anyone. He walked over to Kenyah and put two in her chest, and one in her head. She died with a wide eyed shocked expression on her face.

Surprised by his actions, Basin’s men drew their guns, but Choc acted like he didn’t notice. He pushed the Glock into his waistband at his back and pulled his shirttail down over it. He walked over and stood in front of Basin. “Give it to me,” he said, and then he held his hand out for Rayce’s gun.

Basin took it out and put it in his palm. “I’ll make sure Ice gets your message,” he said, and then walked out the door.

Basin looked at his right hand man, Tiger, and cocked a brow. “I heard that muthafucka was cool like that,” he snorted a chuckle.

  Chapter 19

Valow was standing at the dresser putting his guns back together after cleaning them. He put them away, and then took two ice picks out his saddle bag, and started cutting the handles off. It was tasks that he usually did at night, but last night he spent the time he wasn’t making love to Cynthia, holding her in his arms.

  “You almost finished?” she asked.

  “Yeah,” he answered.

Cynthia walked up behind him, slipped her arms around him, and gently kissed his scarred back. “You are a man of few words,” she teased.

“I’ve killed many men because they were talking to me when they should have been killing me,” he laughed when she cracked up.

“I promise that we are going to be so fucking happy,” she said, and then sat down on the bed and watched him finish up and put things back in their places. He pulled his shirt on over his head, and then turned around and propped a hip up on the dresser and looked at her. “What?” he asked when she just sat there staring at him.

“I love you,” she smiled, and it made him blush. “Say it back,” she coached.

“You know I’m not comfortable expressing my feelings,” he answered.

“I love you, Sis. Say it,” she cooed, an
d then tilted her head to the side and pulled her bottom lip between her teeth sexily.

“I love you, Sis,” he repeated in a mimicking voice that was much lighter than his own. He laughed when she did, and he thought he hadn’t laughed as much in years.

“See, that wasn’t hard,” she grinned. “You want kids?”

  “Definitely not,” he stated emphatically.

“Good because I can’t have children. I used to be sad about it, but I knew better than to question God’s plan. Things always happen for a reason.”

“You believe that being locked up like an animal and being made to kill to eat happened to me for a reason?” he growled in a flash of temper.

He was a complex man, and she studied him for a beat before she answered. “You could have died, but you didn’t. They could have broken you, but they didn’t. All they succeeded in doing was molding you into a helluva man. I’d say what happened to you happened because I was going to need a badass man in my life one day. I’m not vain enough to believe I was the only reason God saved you from that hell, but I do believe he made you for me,” she stepped into his arms and kissed him.

She felt the tension leave his body, and saw the anger leave his eyes. “I think you’re good for me,” he said without being coached.

“I know I’m good for you,” she replied and laughed. “Your voice is raspy like a smoker. Do you smoke?”

“No, they stuck a hose in my throat and poured something hot down it,” he looked her in her eyes, but he didn’t see pity in them, and she didn’t see anger in his.

“It gave you a real sexy voice,” she nipped his throat with her teeth.

“You see the good in everything?” he chuckled.

“I try to,” she really kissed him.

His phone vibrated, and he picked it up and read the text. “We have to go. Ice is going to need some backup on a job.”
