“I’m bisexual. So yes, I am into girls.”
“And are you into me?” Definitely too forward.
“Is it that obvious?”
Madison sat up and stretched her legs out in front of her.
“Yup. You were all flirty downstairs.”
“I like that you’re upfront. I think that you are attractive, so yes, I am into you.”
Victoria looked at Madison’s face before allowing her eyes to travel down to her cleavage.
“My eyes are up here.”
“I know they are.”
Victoria responded as her eyes travelled lower, and towards Madison’s long legs. She ran her fingers over the woman’s knee, and upwards to the hem of her shorts, before stopping and resting her hand on her thigh.
Victoria looked into Madison’s eyes and didn’t see any objections.
She likes it.
They leaned towards each other, both having a pounding sensation inside of their chests. Time seemed to have slowed. And the moment felt so right.
Their lips grazed together, the little friction alone sending a rushing desire straight down to their cores. They pressed firmer. The feeling was intense. The mere contact was futile. They both needed more.
Their bodies moved closer, and their tongues fought for power. Swirling. Licking. Sucking. Oh yes, it was intense.
Madison cupped Victoria’s face with the palms of her hands and inhaled air from the woman’s mouth. Her pulse racing. Her chest heaving. The desire excruciating.
They both needed air to fill their lungs. And as their lips parted, their bodies did not.
“I just kissed my sister’s hot best friend. Damn.”
“I just kissed my best friend’s hot little sister. Fuck yes.”
Victoria smiled and gave Madison a peck on her upper lip.
Madison felt the wetness in between her thighs, but the beauty of the moment was interrupted when they heard a knock on the bedroom door.
"Madison, open the door."
Thank god, Melody didn’t storm in.
Both women groaned, and Victoria placed a kiss on Madison's forehead before climbing off of her. She fixed her dress, which had hiked up almost above her waist, giving Madison a glimpse of what was underneath.
“You can come in.”
Madison said as she sat at the edge of the bed and Victoria stood at the end of the room.
"Am I disrupting something?"
Melody asked as she entered the room.
"No, I was just checking on Madison. I will leave you two to talk."
With that, Victoria escorted herself out of the bedroom and closed the door behind her.
Melody arched her brow noticing how flushed her sister looked, but decided not to ask.
"Are you okay?"
Melody asked instead.
"Surprisingly, yes."
She said thinking back to what she was doing moments prior.
"You seem happy."
Madison smiled and patted the space next to her for her sister to sit.
“Yeah. I guess I am.”
Victoria and Melody left, and Madison felt discontented that she and Victoria didn’t have more time together. She didn’t even get the woman’s digits. But she was likely to see the beauty again. Victoria was her sister’s best friend, after all.
As Madison laid under the covers, sleep far from her mind, her stomach rumbled. She was hungry. So she got up, headed out her bedroom door, down the steps and to the kitchen.
Walking into the kitchen, she turned on the light and sighed as she walked towards the refrigerator.
She opened the fridge, and noticed that there were leftovers packed inside of it. Time for a feast. She grabbed what looked to be mashed potatoes, gravy and chicken, before placing the items into the microwave and waiting for them to heat up.
“Madison?” She heard her mother’s voice and stood still. “You’re hungry, huh? I stocked up on some of your favourites. They’re in the fridge and in the cupboard.”
“Oh, okay. Thanks.”
Madison mumbled as the microwave’s timer went off and she removed the items from inside of it.
“I do love you, you know. I might not say it enough, but I want you to be the best that you can be.”
“And I’m not that right now, right?”
“You are just confused. You’re young, and you’re allowed to make mistakes, but some mistakes can’t be rectified, so you need to be careful.”
Well, it’s a little too late.
Madison sighed as she grabbed a fork and poured the gravy over the bowl of mash potatoes.
“I’m not going to fight with you on this. If you are trying to get me to go to confessions, you’re wasting your time.”
Amanda shook her head and tightened the sash of her robe around her body.
“Goodnight Madison.”
She walked out of the kitchen and probably up the stairs to her bedroom.
I should have stayed at a hotel.
Madison sighed.
CHAPTER THREE
Kisses, Bonding and Bridesmaid Dresses
Melody took Madison to get fitted for her dress the next day. As they entered the bridal shop, Madison’s head spun with anxiety as she looked around. There were dresses of all styles, colours and lengths. She felt uneasy about what her sister chose for her, and hoped it was something that she would actually like.
Madison’s eyes then landed on those familiar green eyes, and her heart felt as though it jumped inside of her throat. She took a deep breath as the woman walked over to them, her curvaceous figure striking elegantly in her five inch heels.
"Good Morning ladies. Shall we get started?"
Madison furrowed her eyebrows, wondering what she meant.
"You work here?"
"I own this establishment." Victoria slung her tape measure around her neck and offered her hand to Madison. “Let me give you a complimentary tour.”
Melody looked at the two with questionable eyes.
“Am I missing something here?”
Madison pressed her lips together before flashing her sister an awkward smile. There was no denying that something was off about the two.
“So these are the selections of elegant wedding dresses. They are organized by cost, like everything in life.” Madison listened as Victoria continued to tell her about her business and all the different designs of dresses. “Oh, and I forgot to mention that I also have tuxes for the less girly brides. Right over there is an entire section with different styles to choose from.”
Victoria pointed to the location that she was describing.
“Very nice.”
Madison applauded with great appreciation that Victoria took time to give her the tour.
“Can we do the fitting now?”
Melody groaned since she grew bored of, suddenly, becoming the third wheel.
“Yes, of course. The dress is right at the back.”
They headed towards the back, where no one else was.
“You didn’t choose anything that looks like a unicorn threw up, right?”
Melody shrugged and took a seat on the sofa next to the dressing room.
“Here Madison. I believe this will fit your figure perfectly. If not, I’ll make the adjustments.”
Madison looked at the dark pink, body fitted, sequined dress.
“Okay, so am I trying to get laid on your wedding day with that?”
She asked as she scanned over the very appealing dress. It had a very low neckline, but at least it was knee-length.
“Yeah, mum was not too pleased with the choice. But it’s my wedding day, and I’d love to see some Catholic eyes pop out.”
“You’re not serious, right?”
“As serious as can be, little sister. You will look gorgeous in it. Now, go try it on before I decide to adjust the length shorter.”
“I feel like a piece of meat, but fine. If I don’t like how it looks, I’m not wearing it.”
“My bridesma
ids actually love it.”
“Indeed they do.”
Victoria said as she placed her hands on her hips.
“And you have to wear it. I’ll only get married once.”
“Hopefully.”
Madison said before walking over to the dressing room. She opened and closed the door behind her, before stripping down to her underwear. She slipped the dress over her head, through her arms and pulled it down her body. Trying to reach for the zip, her attempts went in vain.
“Hi, muffin.”
Melody said as Madison walked out of the room.
“Can you zip this up for me?”
The brunette did as asked of her, and gave a look over at her little sister. Something seemed off.
“You look like you borrowed your big sister’s party dress.” Victoria said as she ran her hands up Madison’s sides, which in turn, made the young woman’s skin tingle. “It’s a size too big. I thought it would have been the perfect fit.”
“Can I take it off now?”
“Of course.”
Victoria took a step back, still looking over Madison’s body.
“Can you stop looking at me like that?”
“I’m just noting down what I have to adjust.”
“Sure.”
Melody unzipped the dress and Madison headed back into the changing room.
“So, what’s up with you two?”
Melody inquired as her best friend fiddled with her measuring tape. Victoria did not know what to say, or how to explain what was going on, since she didn’t know herself.
“There isn’t much to tell. Mostly mindless flirting.”
“You call that mindless flirting? Victoria, I know that look, that’s your I want to fuck you look and you are giving that look to my little sister, which is disturbing on so many levels.”
“So you have a problem with it?”
“Fuck, I doubt the two of you would care if I did. But be careful, and if you break her heart, sister triumphs best friend. I will kick your arse straight into outer space.”
“Whose arse are you going to be kicking?”
“Yours, if you don’t hurry up, I’m starving.”
“But I’m done.”
“Actually, I need to take your measurements so that I can have a more accurate idea for adjustments.”
Madison sighed and handed the dress to Melody.
As Victoria measured the length of her waist, Madison felt her breathing increase. Victoria’s hands slid along the slopes and curves so agilely, making her body heat up.
“You two are difficult to watch. I don’t need my best friend shagging my little sister in my mind at all.”
Melody groaned as she hung the dress on the clothing rail.
“Then don’t watch Melody. I don’t watch when you and Troy basically dry hump each other around me.”
Melody glared at her best friend and crossed her arms over her chest.
“But Troy isn’t your brother.”
“Okay, I’m all done Madison.”
Victoria slung the tape measure around her neck again and focused her eyes on the disapproving brunette.
“Melody, stop thinking about it.”
Madison walked over to her sister and placed her hand on her shoulder.
“Okay, fine. Just limit the PDA around me.”
“And her taking my measurements is too much PDA for you? You really are an innocent girl. Are you saving yourself for marriage too?”
“Shut up, Madison. I get your point. Can we drop it now?”
“Sure thing.”
“Victoria, you wanna grab lunch with us?”
Madison wagged her eyebrows with an approving nod.
“Sure, let me just get my purse from my office.”
Victoria instructed her staff what to do while she was gone before they left the shop.
Melody drove and both Madison and Victoria sat in the back seat, unsubtly checking each other out every now and then.
They reached the restaurant, parked and headed inside.
After being shown to a table by a waiter, they looked through their menus and ordered something to drink while deciding what to order to eat.
"So Maddy, how’s life in New York?"
Melody asked to start up a conversation.
"The usual. Busy streets. Loud sounds. As they say, the city that never sleeps.”
"Any upcoming books you want to tell me about?”
"Nothing for now, I’m taking some time to relax."
Madison took sneak glances at Victoria.
She’s beautiful.
“Well, work is a pain in my ass. Sitting at a desk all day never ceases to drain the life out of me, but hell, who’s gonna do it, right?”
Madison nodded and pressed her lips together.
The waiter then came back over with their drinks and took their food orders, as well.
“I think that I’m going to stay a little while longer here. I have nothing waiting back for me in New York, and I’ve missed out on so much already. I think that it's time that I get up-to-date with the people who matter most to me.”
“I think it’s a great idea, but I can’t help but wonder if your decision is not entirely because of family.”
Madison shrugged.
“Maybe other things too.”
She looked up into those green eyes and was offered a smile, in which she reciprocated.
Madison took a sip of her white wine and felt settled. It was the least anxiety that she had in a long time.
Their meals came and they ate.
Melody had to head to work for an importing meeting, so Madison and Victoria were left to their own devices. The brunette dropped them off at the shop and they settled in Victoria's office while she made some important business calls.
Madison wandered around the office, looking at the raw fabric organized neatly on the shelves and other materials labelled accordingly. She admired the neatness of everything.
After another business call, Victoria sat looking at Madison tug on a string.
"It’s rude to stare."
Brown eyes met green and a blush crept onto Victoria's cheeks.
“Sorry, you’re just too cute.”
"Are you finished with your calls?"
Madison questioned before sinking her teeth into her bottom lip. Receiving a nod, she headed over to the door to twitch the lock.
Madison took small steps over to Victoria. She wanted to tease her a bit before she had her way with her.
"You know." Madison traced her finger along Victoria's jaw line, leaving a tingling sensation wherever contact was met. "I don't think I was fitted properly."
Victoria became confused as Madison cupped her chin. She pressed her lips firmly against Victoria’s lips, not bothering to work her way slowly into it.
Delicious. Raw. Passionate.
Victoria reciprocated the intense gesture, creating a battle for dominance.
Hungry tongues searched for each other, they collided and combined.
Oh, such bliss.
Madison released the beauty’s chin, and reached for Victoria’s two hands with her own to place them on her waist.
“Measure me properly.”
Madison growled with utter temptation to ravish the woman in front of her. The wetness in between her thighs accelerated consistently and those green eyes displayed the longing in Victoria’s appetite.
Victoria tightened her grip around the woman’s waist—digging her nails into smooth, delicious flesh. Pulling the top above her stomach, Victoria ran her fingers up Madison’s torso and grazed the tips against the fabric of her bra.
“What’s stopping you?”
“Be patient. I like to take it slow.” Victoria trailed her lips along Madison's jaw line, causing a moan to escape her lips. “How does that feel?” She placed a kiss on her chin, and ran the tip of her tongue towards Madison’s lips.
“Wonderful.”
The intensity of the little contact was subs
urd. Madison’s entire body was trembling from the sensuality of Victoria’s touch.
It was exciting. Sexual, yet platonic.
“I don’t give in so easily, Madison. But I do love to tease.”
“I noticed.”
Madison said with her head leaned back and her eyes closed, while the beauty’s lips rested against her bottom lip.
“Take me on a real date, and then, maybe after, we can have some fun back at my place.”
Madison opened her eyes and leaned forward, so that she could look into those green eyes.
“Sounds like a plan.”
“Definitely. I’ll pick you up tomorrow at 7:00.”’
“Fantastic.”
Madison sighed as Victoria removed her lips.
“I need to get back to work. Do you want me to call Melody to ask if she can pick you up?”
“No, I’ll take the walk. It’s only around ten minutes”
“Are you sure? I could give you a lift if you’d like.”
“Not necessary.”
Madison moved away from the desk and ran her fingers through her tresses.
“Goodbye, Madison.”
Victoria clasped her hands in front of her and flashed Madison a smile.
“Goodbye Victoria.”
The walk home was peaceful and settling.
Madison walked into the living room and noticed her mother sitting down on the leather recliner. She was reading a book.
“How was the fitting?”
Amanda asked as she lowered the book from her face, those brown eyes meeting almost identical ones.
“It was okay. Victoria has to do some adjustments. Did you really approve of that dress?”
Amanda took a deep breath as she closed the book and rested it down on the small table beside the chair.
“Melody insisted. I’ve been trying to be more supportive.”
“Oh.”
Madison pressed her lips together and quirked a brow.
“You seem amused. As hard as it is to believe, I am trying to be more accepting towards your choices.”
“And Anderson is part of you trying?”
Amanda pressed her lips together and shook her head.
“I’m sorry. It’s difficult to listen to Father ask about you and if you are recovering well.”
“Recovering? That’s why I don’t attend church anymore.”
Amanda nodded and closed her eyes.
