"Well I'm not your man, but thank you for your input," I fake smiled.
"Anytime Kayden," she said licking her full lips.
I blew out hot air, and laid my head back. Kelly and I were silent, as we rode to the hotel for the night.
Chapter Seven: Kendon King
Today, I was gonna spend some time with Adrienne and Kennedy. I told Jessica I had some business to handle, because I knew if I told her the truth, she'd try to tag along. I don't mind her and Kenzie coming, but Adrienne was feeling some type a way the last time I brought Jessica. I don't want her thinking I love my son more than my daughter, cause that's not the case at all. I'm just in love with my son’s mother, and only got love for my daughter’s, that's the only difference.
I decided to take them to eat, because right now, Kennedy was too small to enjoy anything else, and also because I wanted Adrienne to enjoy herself.
"On time and alone," Adrienne smiled when she opened the door. She switched away, as I walked in and closed it. My baby mama was bad as hell. She had on a short red skirt and a tight grey t-shirt. She could be mistaken for Christina Milian on any day. It's crazy how both my kid’s moms, are Afro-Cuban.
"That's what you wanted right?" I responded.
"That's not all I want," she said.
I shook my head. "Is the baby ready?" I asked.
"She is. Can you just carry her stroller to the car?" she said pointing to the expensive ass stroller she had me buy because she claimed it was the safest. I picked it up as Adrienne went to get Kennedy.
We headed to Fogo de Chao, a Brazilian food restaurant, which Adrienne said was her favorite. "This is nice right?" Adrienne said as I drove through Baltimore.
"What?" I asked.
"Us going out as a family," she smiled.
"Of course it's nice," I smiled. She blushed and turned away to look out the window.
Once we arrived to the restaurant, I hopped out and opened the door for Adrienne, then got Kennedy out her car seat.
"I'm so hungry," Adrienne said, as she looked over the menu.
"Yeah, I made sure to eat small so I'd be real hungry," I replied.
"Kendon, can I ask you something?" Adrienne asked, setting her menu down.
"What's up?" I asked.
"If you and Jessica weren't together anymore, do you think you would be with me?" she cocked her head.
"I probably would, especially because we have a baby," I smiled. She paused for a second.
"I thought so," she replied. "If you guys broke up, you'd tell me right?" she asked.
"I mean, yeah I guess, but me and Jessica would never break up. We’re too in love. The one time we did break up, we were miserable without each other. That's my bitch, I love her," I told her.
She nodded and looked at the menu. "Yeah, I guess we wouldn't have a chance unless something happened to her," she smiled, and I frowned in confusion.
After the waitress took our orders, my phone chimed letting me know Jessica was texting me.
Baby: How long you gone be? I miss you. I smiled at the text and naked picture she had attached. Damn.
Me: Not long, stay just like that.
"Can you not be on your phone while we are out, Kendon," Adrienne rolled her eyes.
"My bad. It was just one text," I frowned.
"Yes, but I'm sure you don't text when you're out with Jessica and Kenzie," she spat.
"If it's important I do. Stop making it seem like I love Kenzie more than Kennedy! You know that's not true," I said.
"I didn't say that. But you care about Jessica more than me. I'm your daughter’s mother, you should care about me too," she frowned, as she fixed Kennedy's onesie and shoes. I exhaled heavily, because it was the same song and dance every time we got together. How did niggas have two girlfriends and shit? I could barely deal with a fiancée and baby mama.
"Adrienne, I do care about you, as Kennedy’s mother. You know I wouldn't let nothing happen to you. And whenever you need something, I got you," I said.
She smiled big and rubbed my hand. "I'm happy to hear that Kendon," she replied.
After dinner, I took Adrienne shopping for herself and the baby. Usually, I would just peel off some cash for her to do it herself, but she wanted me to come, and I didn't feel like hearing her cry and shit. After shopping, I took her home and played with my baby girl for bit, then headed home.
***
"I am so tired," I said walking into the bedroom I shared with Jessica.
"Hard day?" she asked, opening her robe to reveal her sexy naked body.
"Oh, it was definitely a hard day. Gone be a hard night too," I said as I walked over and got on top of her. I kissed and sucked on her lips, and then kissed from her collarbone to her belly button. I bit her stomach, cause I knew it drove her freaky ass crazy. She chuckled when I did it. I put her thighs on my shoulders and took her clit into my mouth.
"Mmm Kendon," she moaned as she caressed the back of my head. I spread her legs wider and dipped two fingers in her, as I sucked and licked her clit. She came so hard, her body jerked, and then I got on my back. She took my dick into her mouth and made it disappear.
"Fuck Jess," I moaned as she let her spit coat my dick. I ran my fingers through her soft hair, as she made love to my dick. She dipped lower to suck my balls, as she used her spit and hand to jack me off. Jessica was a pro in the bedroom and always had a nigga in the clouds. She took my dick back into her mouth, and sucked me off fast making me bust. She swallowed it up, and then climbed on top to ride my dick nice and slow.
"Damn I love this dick, daddy," she moaned as her sexy, honey-colored body, bounced up and down. She placed her hand on my abs for leverage, and sped up her pace, making her supple titties bounce.
"Damn you sexy as fuck," I groaned as I felt my nut rising.
I flipped her on her back, and put her legs on my shoulders. "Ahhhh, ahhhh, I'm cumming Kendon!" she yelled as I dug deep in her guts.
"Me too, baby. I love my pussy," I whispered, as I busted in her.
I collapsed onto her, and kissed her soft lips. Just like that, the time I spent with Adrienne was out of my mind.
Chapter Seven: Nic King
My mom had been hounding me to drop Kendrick Jr., and Kendrin off to her, but I was holding out due to the whole Niko thing. However, I loved my mom and I didn't want to penalize her any further. I know she was just trying to protect me from my biological father’s lifestyle. I still didn't like his ass however. Any time I tried to go against him, he threatened to kill Kendrick. I kept it a secret this whole time, but I was thinking about telling him.
Today, he wanted me to stop by for a little while, so I was headed to see him. For a little while is exactly what it was gonna be.
"Hey gorgeous!" Katrina said as she opened the door for me.
"Hi," I replied as nicely as I could.
"How are you?" she asked as she led me to the kitchen area.
"I'm okay. You?" I asked.
"Oh, I'm fabulous as usual," she smiled. "Would you like some iced tea? I can add watermelon to it," she asked.
"Uh, sure. How did you know I liked it that way?" I asked.
"Your husband told me at our dinner party. I was mingling getting to know everyone, and we had a little conversation. He really loves you," she smiled and walked the glass to me. "I wish my husband loved me like that," she said in somber tone. I ignored her sadness, and smiled thinking about my boo. "Oh, here he is now," Katrina said, as Niko and some guy walked in. He was tall, with a fade, light skinned, and dressed to the nines. He was gorgeous as hell.
"Nic honey, this is Whitney Davidson," Niko smiled, patting the other guy on the back.
"Wow Niko, she is gorgeous," Whitney smiled at me.
"Thank you," I replied. I had my long, dark hair pressed to my tailbone, a crop-top showing my stomach, with skinny jeans and sandals.
"I don't mean any disrespect Mr. Colaneri, but I would love to take your daughter on a date," Whitney said still staring a
t me. He was sexy as hell but nowhere near as sexy as Kendrick. Whitney was pretty boy sexy, and Kendrick was rough, real nigga sexy.
"I'm married," I replied.
"That can be arranged," Niko smiled and patted Whitney's back again. "Where would you like to take her?" he asked Whitney.
"Niko, you-" Katrina chimed in.
"Katrina! Go do some housework or something," Niko cut her off and fake smiled. She paused, and then did as she was told.
"Well, I was thinking about taking her out on my yacht, for a nice dinner," Whitney flashed his perfect teeth.
"Sounds like a plan!" Niko smiled.
"Niko! I'm not going on a date with him, I'm married! What is wrong with you?!" I frowned.
"Either you go on the date willingly, or you can go on the date by force," Niko smiled.
"Why are you doing this? You're just making me hate you more than I already do," I said feeling tears well up.
He paused, obviously offended. "I'm doing what's best for you. You won't hate me anymore once you see that," he finally replied and smiled.
"I have two kids Whitney, you still want to date me?" I said, trying to turn him off.
"Absolutely love," he said eyeing my body.
"Too bad!" I said, and hopped up to leave before either one of them could respond.
I sped to King Brothers so that I could see my baby. Niko was really stressing me the fuck out. He blew my phone up the whole ride to KB's, and I didn't answer one damn time. It was evening time, so the sun was setting. The air was nice and cool, so I let my windows down to let the breeze ease my mind. I finally pulled up and quickly parked my car. I walked in moving as fast as possible, and ran into one of Kendrick's workers, Maurice.
"Hey Nic," he smiled.
"Hey, Maurice. How are you?" I asked.
"I'm great. You look nice," he licked his lips. I assumed he was drunk, ‘cause he knew better than to hit on me.
"Thank you. I'm just here to see Kendrick," I said as I tried to walk off.
"Kendrick?" I heard a voice say, making both Maurice and I look over. A beautiful dark-skinned girl approached us, in skimpy attire.
"Yes, Kendrick," I replied with a nasty attitude.
"Oh yeah, you're his wife. I'm Sydney," she smiled, almost as if I was a joke to her.
"Nice to meet you," I replied, and fake smiled.
"I'm sorry, I was just a little surprised because him and I had a little fun a couple weeks ago, so I assumed he was single," she smiled big as fuck.
"Oh, you were the one whose face he nutted on," I chuckled. "Girl, you was just a nut, I bet he don't even know your last name," I laughed cause it was actually funny. She frowned and walked away.
"Damn, again?" Maurice frowned.
"Again what?" I asked.
"Kendrick fucking around on you," he said shaking his head. I was slightly embarrassed, but quickly shook the feeling.
"Oh, it's a lot behind it. It's really not that serious," I said meaning every word.
"You too damn beautiful to be dealing with that," he said looking me in my eyes.
"Well thanks Maurice, but I'm not dealing with anything. Kendrick is great to me," I smiled.
"Well, if you ever feel like he not, hit me up. I'll take care of you and the boys," he said, as he slid his number on a napkin to me. Maurice was an okay looking guy. He was brown skinned, with a low cut caesar, and medium build. He wasn't anything special, but he wasn't ugly either.
"What's up babe?" Kendrick popped up, and I quickly balled up the napkin with Maurice's phone number.
"Hey, I just wanted to talk to you for a bit. I miss you," I smiled.
"Oh, you miss me?" he smiled and bit his lip, then pulled me close for a kiss. I could kind of see Maurice mad dogging him. What the fuck was his problem?
"Yeah, I did," I said in between kisses, as I fit perfectly in his embrace.
"I'm gone get something out my car real quick, and then I'll be right back," he smiled, showing his cute little dimples. I pecked him once more, and he ran outside.
"Are you drunk?" I asked Maurice.
"Haven't had one drink yet, ma," he smiled.
As soon as the words left his lips, I heard four gunshots ring out. Maurice and I ran outside, as well as a lot of other people who were inside KB's.
"Ahhhhhh!" I screamed as I spotted Kendrick laying there covering his stomach. Blood was gushing through his fingers.
"Fuck!" Maurice yelled as he called 911.
I ran to Kendrick and held his head up. "Baby, oh my God!" I said as blood started coming out of his mouth. I bucked my eyes in horror, because I had never seen anything like this, except when Ricky died in Boyz N the Hood. This was the worst day of my life.
They’re on the way! Stay up bro!" Maurice yelled frantically. I looked over and saw Sydney crying. I should've beat her ass, but this wasn't the time.
Soon enough, the ambulance and police flew up to us. Once they got Kendrick in the ambulance, I climbed in with him. I took out my phone, and saw a text from Niko.
Bitch Nigga Niko: Next one will be between his eyes. What time shall Whitney pick you up?
Chapter Seven: Kendreeis King
I was leaving the hospital after visiting my brother and felt a small sense of relief. They were able to save his life, and he didn't go into a coma. The doctor said because he'd already been in a coma before, his body wouldn't have been able to handle a second one. He was talking and stuff, but he was angry and so was I. Whoever shot my brother wanted a war, and they were definitely gone get one.
I was stressed, so I decided to go have a couple drinks. I decided to go to KB's since I could get as many as I wanted for free. I walked in and it was live as hell as usual; we really should open another club. "Real One" by Chris Brown and Tyga was bumping, and people were wildin.
"How is Kendrick?" Sydney ran to me.
"He straight," I said and tried to keep walking, but she cut me off.
"What hospital is he at?" she asked. I frowned and kept walking.
I was sitting at the bar area sipping on my first drink, with so many thoughts running through my mind. I was thinking about my family and how dangerous this life was. I loved it though, so I needed to figure something out.
"Kendreeis?" I heard a female voice say. I looked over, and saw that Katrina lady.
"Hey what's up?" I said nonchalantly.
"You look a little upset," she said as she took a seat next to me.
"Someone shot my brother." I said. She paused and cleared her throat.
"I see. Can I have a vodka tonic?" she told Mena, the manager and current bartender.
"What you doing at a gentleman’s a club?" I asked.
"I needed to get out. So, why not come and see what kind of establishment you guys opened," she smiled. Katrina didn't look a day over 30, although she was definitely in her forties.
"Well welcome," I chuckled, and so did she.
"So, you’re getting married soon?" she asked as she sipped her drink. I nodded.
"I am, to my baby girl," I smiled.
"Morina?" she asked.
"Morgan," I corrected her, and gave her the bitch please look.
"Right, Morgan!" she smiled.
"You knew her name," I said calling her out on her bullshit.
"You're right, I did," she chuckled.
"So why you try to play me then? Acting like you didn't?"
"Cause maybe I don't want to remember her name," she said looking me in the eyes.
"Why?" I asked confused as fuck.
"Cause I kind of like you," she said moving my dreads out my face. I moved away from her touch.
"Whoa ma, what you doing?" I frowned.
"I'm sorry," she said.
"You’re married," I frowned and looked at her like she was a creature.
"Yeah, to an asshole that treats me like the help," she said shaking her head, then sipping her drink.
"I'm sorry to hear that," I replied.
"Me too. I just
miss having someone to make me feel beautiful, Kendreeis," she said.
"Well, if you didn't know, you're a very attractive woman," I told her.
"You think so?" she asked licking her lips. She reminded me of that actress Olivia Wilde.
