Kara paused as if thinking this over. “I don’t know. He probably won’t ever believe that I’m willing to give it all up to have a second chance with him. But even if he did believe me, how am I going to make a living? He wouldn’t dare let me fuck other guys in the industry.”
“Does he mind you fucking other girls?” An inkling of cleverness seeped into Evan’s face. “I only ask because he sounds like he wouldn’t mind that at all since he’s a porn performer. And, if you’re not aware, there are plenty of adult movies being made every day that feature only women, if that would be something you would be interested in?”
“You know, I wouldn’t mind that at all. In fact, it kind of intrigues me in a very naughty way.”
“I’ve missed you beyond words, Kara.” Evan broke character first to put an end to their game. “And I want you by my side for at least forever and a day. I can’t live without you.”
“I was really hoping you were going to say that.” She immediately hopped up from her chair to dash over and wrap both arms around his neck as she plopped down into his lap. She leaned in to kiss him, knowing beyond any shadow of a doubt that they were going to share the most extraordinary life together.
