“Stop,” he managed to say the word between his groans of pleasure. “This time I want to be inside you and for us to come together to seal our commitment to each other.”
He moved her under him and leisurely kissed her body on the way to her pussy. His tongue teased her sensitive nipples, and he suckled her full breasts. Kisses were scattered across her stomach. Finally, he opened her legs and his mouth sucked on her clit. He moved upward, and his kiss cut off her scream of his name.
Dirk positioned himself at her pussy opening and plunged in. Her tight pussy walls welcomed him. She met his every stroke as tingles of electricity shot up her spine. Pleasure filled her full like a balloon about to burst. When she did, she felt his hot seed against her womb.
“Hope you don’t mind. I forgot all about that condom, but you’re protected.”
“I am. But I’m seeing the doctor soon to change that. We’re too old to wait very long to have a baby.”
“My exact thoughts.”
“Are you all right? Your head doesn’t hurt?”
“Maybe a little. I’m sure if we do this treatment one more time, I’ll be all well.”
Chelsea raised an eyebrow.
“I love you, Chelsea Pearce, and I accept your proposal. It’s about time one of us said yes.”
Epilogue
“I told you we’d have a boy,” Chelsea said as she got into Dirk’s truck. They’d just found out the sex of their baby. Dirk had a wide grin on his face.
“I wanted a girl first, but I guess a boy’s all right,” he said.
He loved to tease her, and she loved it, too. She’d known he really did want a girl. Still, they’d both agreed the most important thing was having a healthy baby.
Chelsea settled in her seat as Dirk started the engine. “I want you to know one important item, Mr. Brodie.”
Dirk glanced her way. “Am I in trouble?”
“You might be if you don’t agree with me. Don’t think for a minute I’ll have five boys working at having a girl.”
“Mom and Dad always said that, and then before we knew it, another baby was on the way.” He smirked at her.
“I’ll put three locks on the bedroom door.”
“Doesn’t matter. Let’s see, we’ve done it on the kitchen table, the floor, out by the river, most anywhere we were alone. You can’t lock me out of everywhere. But in all seriousness, I’m not sure I could handle six children, either. Let’s start with one and go slowly.”
“My exact idea.”

Four months later
“Here he is, your first baby.” The doctor handed the nurse Dirk and Chelsea’s son. She wrapped him and put him in Dirk’s arms.
“All right, Chelsea, we need to get this second baby delivered. I can’t believe that first sonogram missed this one. That’s what comes of doing the test a few weeks early. And this little one is secretive. Never could tell the sex,” the doctor said.
“Ha, we all know it will be another boy. The Brodie bunch tend to beget more males,” Chelsea said, and glanced at Dirk and the baby. “Not that I’m complaining. Ouch!”
“Push hard. It won’t be long. Lazy here hid behind the other one most of the time.”
After a number of more pushes, their child came screaming into the world.
“She has good lungs,” the doctor said as he handed her to the nurse.
“Did you say she?” both Dirk and Chelsea asked at once.
“That’s right. One of each. You can stop now if you want.”
“Wow, first the surprise of twins.” Chelsea eyed Dirk. “You didn’t tell me you had twin aunts. Now we also got our girl. We can stop. We have our family.”
“We’ll talk later,” Dirk said with a sly smile.
“Here’s your baby girl.” The nurse laid her in Chelsea’s arms. Black hair covered both the babies’ heads. But their girl had light-blue eyes like her daddy. “Let me see our boy.”
Dirk took his daughter in one arm and they exchanged babies. “I think he might have green eyes. We’ll see.” She smiled at Dirk. “Isn’t this exciting?”
Dirk kissed her. “It’s been exciting, darlin’, ever since you said ‘I do.’”
