“Put your hands over your head, Blair, and hold onto the end of the table. I am going to clean this mess off of you.”
Blair put her hands where Cole commanded her. Cole leaned over and gently kissed her lips. He ran his tongue over them until she opened for him. He surged in and enveloped her mouth in a demanding kiss. When he broke that off, he found the first dribble of sauce on her chest. He licked her, then licked his lips. “It tastes even better with you mixed into the flavor.”
Blair watched him as he enjoyed kissing between her breast and down her stomach. It made her want to squirm, even though it didn’t tickle. Knowing he was moving lower, and the wicked way he used his tongue, was very erotic.
He got to her pussy and looked up at her. “You smell so sweet. I should get my dessert now.” His head lowered to her center, and he parted the folds of her sex, exposing her clit.
Blair jumped when he licked it first, and he put a hand on her stomach to steady her. His tongue laved at her clit, making her legs and tummy shake with the tremors of her building orgasm.
She was so close to coming, and she could feel the pleasure building. Cole was going hard and fast, making her arch with pleasure. With her eyes tightly closed, Blair came in a long moan.
“Oh Goddess, Cole.” Blair panted for air as her body floated back down to Earth.
“That was one, baby.’
“One?” Blair asked dubiously.
“Yes.” Cole flipped Blair over making her squeak in surprise. “Hold onto the table again. I can tie you down if I need to.”
“Ok,” Blair said then cried out in surprise at the first stinging slap on her bare ass. It didn’t hurt so much as she wasn’t expecting it. Cole usually started lightly. He slapped her ass again, spreading fire.
He leaned over and pressed two fingers into her pussy, then circled them around her clit.
“Oh my, Cole.” Blair squeezed her eyes shut. Cole was going to make sure she was a boneless lump by the time he was done with her.
He pumped his fingers in, while also stroking her clit. He pulled them out, then slapped her ass several more times. He shoved his fingers back in, making Blair cry out at the fiery pleasure. He spanked her a few more times as the fire on the skin of her ass was joining the fire in her sex. He pumped his fingers, then spanked. Blair lost the ability to tell what Cole was doing. Was he spanking or finger fucking her? She heard the slaps, and her vision blurred before the crescendo crashed over her. She cried out Cole’s name while wave after wave of rapturous pleasure overtook her body. When Cole had finally pulled every last bit of her orgasm out of her body, Blair sagged onto the table, breathing hard.
Cole used his fingers that were soaked in her juices and shoved them into her back entrance. The feeling was another type of pleasure. Blair almost wanted to fight him off, but she just lay still, not wanting to move yet.
Cole used her own nectar to coat his cock then slowly entered her back entrance, massaging her back as he entered her. Blair moaned as he stroked nerves and massaged the tense muscles at the same time. “I am going slow, baby. If it starts to hurt at all, tell me. I will stop and we will go to the shower.”
“It doesn’t hurt at all,” Blair mumbled, “Don’t stop.”
Cole rubbed her back, running his hand up and down her skin. He slowly shoved back in making Blair moan.
“Cole. Goddess, Cole.”
Cole moved faster and harder, making the table creak as he moved. Blair was so close to another orgasm, but she couldn’t get over the edge. She could feel it building, but then it would back off.
Cole’s hand moved to her clit and began stroking it. Blair raised her head off of the table and cried out her release. Her body shook as yet another orgasm ripped through her.
Cole pushed into her channel then called out Blair’s name as he came, his cock pulsating deep within her. Cole pulled out of her and picked her up. She clung to him as he walked towards the master suite. “How does a long hot soak in a bubble bath sound?” Cole asked then kissed her forehead.
“Wonderful,” Blair murmured.

Silas stood outside the sheriff’s house and watched him with his woman. These are some kinky ass people. That was the same bitch that stopped him from screwing the girl at the coffee place and she just got her ass fucked on the table.
This was better than a porn show, actually. His dick grew hard as he watched them fucking. He unfastened his jeans and imagined he had a girl with him right now, and stroked his own cock. The bitch opened her mouth to scream as she came. Silas felt his own release coming. He imagined the bitch was under him, and pointed his dick at her, so his cum would shoot all over her face. He groaned as thick semen flowed out of him and onto the ground. Soon, very soon he would have her under him, and he would do it for real. He would force her to suck his cock. Then he would show her how a real man fucks a girl. She wasn’t a girl though. She was a fucking animal. He could fuck her like an animal, then kill her when he was done. No crime would be committed since he was just putting down a rabid animal that killed his brother.
Chapter Fourteen
Blair sat with Myra and Cassie in a meeting room in city hall. No meetings were scheduled today, and they had wide tables for spreading out their pictures and magazines. Blair had hoped her pastries and coffee would lure her friends over. Mandy was out eating lunch with Aaron, but had promised to come by after he went on duty.
“I can’t believe he agreed to let you have whatever kind of wedding you want,” Cassie said as she chewed on a blueberry turnover.
Blair nodded as she looked at a champagne-ivory-white wedding dress that had embroidered flowers for shoulder straps instead of sleeves. “He did. He said whatever makes me happy. This dress and these tuxedos make me happy.”
Cassie leaned over to look at the dress. “Oh, I love it. The darker satin with the white of the dress is gorgeous.”
Myra looked through other photos with a sad look on her face. Blair felt guilty for planning this around Myra. It had been years since Brian died, but they were soul mates. The pain would take longer than five years to fade. Blair put her hand over Myra’s. “I am so sorry. I wasn’t thinking. We can put this away.”
Myra looked up at Blair, and her chocolate brown eyes were soft. “Don’t be silly. This is your time to celebrate being mated, finally.”
“I don’t want to open wounds for you,” Blair admitted.
Myra smiled at her with a sad expression. “I miss Brian every minute of every day. He was everything to me, but don’t you dare stop planning your life because of my pain.”
Cassie cleared her throat. “Smack me if it’s none of my business, but are you and Warren living together, as, um, you know?” Cassie blushed a little as they both stared at her.
Myra reached over and smacked her lightly on the shoulder, then laughed. “Just kidding with you.” Myra looked out the window at the rain dripping down the window. “We are lovers, yes. We were in a relationship together before Levi Clemmons killed Brian. We had discussed making our relationship permanent, but had never done it. When Brian died he asked Warren to take care of me.”
Blair smiled. “Brian would be happy to see Warren listened, stupid bear.”
“Why is he stupid?” Cassie asked.
“When all this happened, as you know, Warren was the Kelach and the sheriff. He was training Cole, but they were supposed to have ten more years of training. Warren killed Levi and another human man for killing Brian and Nathan. He was forced to step down because of that.”
Blair looked through pictures as she said, “That is how Cole became sheriff. He never told me.”
“No, he was not allowed to tell anyone. I only know because I gave Warren the best blowjob he has ever had in his life. He told me the whole story.”
Blair had a new version of what had happened. Cole was young for a shifter. They aged and matured slower than humans. Cole thought he had so much time, but then all the responsibility landed on his sho
ulders, without any warning. No wonder he’d wanted to run. “I think he doubted his own ability. Warren has been there for him, and assured him he can do the job, but Cole thought he had years to learn.”
Cassie robbed her hands together. “Ok, so let’s change the subject. I am guessing by the outdoor wedding you are planning, the threat is gone.”
Blair nodded. “I think so. The man that took that little girl probably ran. She got a good look at him, and gave a description. I am sure he knows he can be identified. No one has caught sight of the truck, him, or his scent. Cole handed the mess over to the David and the rest of the FBI. They are pulling back from Pleasant Cove, but staying on the case.”
“What is that PI still doing around here?” Myra asked.
Blair turned the page of the magazine. “Must like the scenery or something. They are still at the motel and not looking like they are in a hurry to leave. Thomas is talking about staying.”
“Oh, not much call for FBI agents around here most of the time though.” Myra said while playing with a loose string on her shirt. “Did they find whoever attacked Mandy? I heard it was someone different.”
Blair glanced over at Cassie and cleared her throat. “Yeah, it was someone different. A tracker was able to scent something different. Maybe he left.” She didn’t really believe that, but she told herself that anyway, so she could sleep at night.
Cassie smiled. “Cole has trained his cholan well.”
Blair felt guilty like she was lying for letting them believe it was one of Cole’s cholan that was helping track the criminal, and not Lucas. At least he was on their side. The extra senses a Guardian possessed made his tracking sense far stronger. Blair thought it was the same men, as their scents were similar, and they had both been human.
It was not until Lucas pointed out the differences that Blair could scent them. It had turned out that the cologne they wore was the same, and confused the shifters’ senses. Blair wanted to think that they would have figured it out eventually, but she wasn’t so sure.
Cassie patted her stomach, stood up and stretched. “I hate to break up the party, but I have a doctor’s appointment.” She rubbed her stomach, which had a tiny baby bump that was appearing.
Blair raised her eyebrows at her. “You are showing already at nine weeks. You have to be carrying twins.”
Cassie glared at Blair and shook her head in denial. “No way. I am not having twins.”
“It is common for shifters to have twins,” Myra agreed nodding her head. “I had twins with two pregnancies, but both times one of the babies didn’t make it.”
Cassie sat back down next to Myra and put her hand over hers. “I am so sorry. How did that happen?”
Myra patted Cassie’s hand. “Both times one was noticeably smaller. The other grew at a normal rate, but one did not have good positioning I guess. I lost both twins around three months.”
Cassie looked down at her stomach and looked ready to cry.
Myra reached over and pulled Cassie into a hug. “Oh Goddess, I am so sorry. I wasn’t thinking. The problem is me, not twin pregnancies. You will be fine.”
Cassie nodded, rubbing her stomach. “You’re right. I just got worried all of a sudden.”
“It’s my fault. I am sorry.” Myra apologized again. “Let me take you to the clinic now that I have made a fool of myself.”
Cassie looked at Blair, but she shrugged her off. “Go. Mandy is on her way over to help pick out decorations. You two go and pester the doctor.”
Myra helped Cassie up and started for the door, and Blair went back to going through the magazine.
She found a picture of a reception decorated with white lights. She imagined her and Cole dancing under them and smiled. The times they had gone out dancing, Cole had proven himself to be an excellent dancer. She folded the page down to mark it as something she wanted to add to their reception.
The door opened, letting in the cool, damp air. Blair caught the scent of something familiar and terrifying. She looked up to see Mandy standing in front of the same man from her coffee shop. Mandy had a look of terror on her face.
Blair stood up and glared at the man holding Mandy. “Let go of her.”
“Are you going to change into an animal and fucking make me, freak?”
Blair stared at the man. He looked crazy, and that scared her more than anything. Humans who were violently insane were dangerous and unpredictable. They attacked without reason or warning. She glanced down at Mandy, but other than being scared she didn’t see any injuries. He had a knife to Mandy’s throat, though, and if she made a wrong move, he would kill her before Blair could stop him.
“What do you want?” she asked, struggling to keep the hatred out of her tone. She could hide fear well, but when she hated someone, she struggled to hide it.
He stared right back at her, smiling as though her hatred excited him. “You, but I will use this little bitch here to make sure you stay in line.”
“Me? What do you want with me?” Blair was relieved he did not want Mandy, but had no idea why a stranger, a human, would want her.
“Your boyfriend killed my brother, Levi. He was all I had. I am going to show him what it feels like.”
Fear started to take a hold of Blair, but that was an easier emotion to deal with. He was not just an insane human who had wandered into town. He was here for revenge. “Cole didn’t kill him. Levi killed a man, and someone else killed him for revenge.”
“There are no men here, only fucking animals. I don’t recall illegal poaching being a death sentence.”
“You, asshole, are fucking insane. Your brother killed a good friend of mine. He ruined my life and my friends’ lives that night. He got what he deserved.”
He let out a scream of rage and threw Mandy at her. Blair barely caught her before she hit the oak table. She made the mistake of taking her attention off of him. As soon as she looked back up, he was right in front of her. His fist slammed into her face before she could block it or move away.
Chapter Fifteen
Josh stood waiting for his strange client. He was really paranoid about his identity, and would show up with some crazy mask, or hide. The guy was a nut job, but Josh didn’t care. He wanted his fucking money, and he wanted out. He was going to deliver the message, and be done, after he killed his secretary. She was a fucking traitor, spying on him for the Montrose family. A fucking spy.
He had trusted Jennifer, and that was what he got for trusting anyone. She had been working for him all this time, and she betrayed him. He’d paid her when she took care of her sick mother. He’d paid her while she buried her mother. How did she repay him? By helping that family that was hell-bent on seeing him put in prison because their whore of a daughter died of a drug overdose. It wasn’t his fault. It wasn’t his fault the bag exploded. She’d agreed to do it saying she was tired of fucking clients all night. He was nowhere near her when she died. She was in an airport in Afghanistan.
When the man walked in with the kabuki mask over his face, Josh struggled to keep himself from laughing. The man looked ridiculous in that thing. “I did everything you asked. I need to get going.”
He stood there, staring at Josh for a moment. “I notice you are having troubles with your assistant.”
Josh looked at him, surprised. How could he know about that? Fuck, if he knows then who else?
His employer laughed, a short, humorless kind of laugh.
“You should see your face right now.” He gave him a cold smile.“I know everything going on around here. This is my territory.” He held his hands out wide. “I could take down Ilithyia. I will one day, and then all shifters will have no choice but to obey me. I won’t be so fucking weak.”
Josh’s mind was working fast while the crazy man ranted. He thought he had done well to keep it a secret that he knew what Jennifer was up to, so he could deal with her when he was ready. “Does anyone else know?”
“No, not even that pretty assistant of yours. She just sen
t a message that she will be home soon.” He tsked him like a naughty child. “You killed that girl, and made it look like she was a whore and drug addict.”
Josh shrugged trying to look unconcerned. His heart was racing though. This man seemed to know everything. “ She was. Those stupid girls always believe me when I tell them I will take care of them. By the time they figure out it isn’t the dream they expected, it’s too late.” He paused for a moment. “None of that is murder though.”
The distorted voice made the man’s laugh all the more chilling. “Do you really think I am concerned with your involvement? I researched you, and your involvement with her death. It is why I hired you."
Josh’s body grew tense. A suspicion dawned on him that made him start to plot this crazy asshole’s death. The Montrose family had been trying to nail his ass with a manslaughter charge for a while. "Are you trying to blackmail me?”
“In a way. I have all the information I gathered ready to send to the girl's family. “You may not have forced that girl into anything, but because of your illegal activities, a girl died. In Colorado that makes you eligible to be charged with felony murder. Even if you didn’t go to prison for the rest of your life, the family would sue you, and get everything you own. Families can sue over wrongful death and win millions.”
Josh blew out an angry breath. “What the fuck do you want?”
"Insurance. You cross me, and you will find your life ruined."
“Look, I don't give a shit what you’re doing here. I came here because I had no choice. I just want my money, and you will never see me again.”
"You are going to leave, without any money from me. If you want to be a dick about it, I will see that these files are passed on."
Josh felt his anger boiling. This guy had him by the balls. If he tried any of his usual tactics, he would lose everything. "Fine. Whatever, I’m fucking out of here." Josh turned to storm away.
"Oh, Josh, one more thing. I suggest you dump Jennifer in Bears Creek Canyon. Every year unfortunate hikers fall to their deaths there."
