Evan's Addiction Page 44

“Like I told Evan, Blake; it’s okay to experiment. What happens in college, stays in college. This is a no-judge zone.” Shaw said gravely while outlining a square in the air.

I kept my laughter bottled but my chest shook with it.

“That was before the creation of Facebook, Shaw.” Blake returned.

“That’s why I don’t have Facebook.” Shaw shivered.

For someone who lived on the computer Shaw had an aversion to many of the social network sites.

“Yeah, but everybody else has it.” Blake countered.

“Just make sure to keep all your perversions behind closed doors then.” Shaw quipped.

“Thanks for looking out for me.”

  “I’m overflowing with generosity tonight.”

  Blake chuckled. “No, that’s alcohol.”

Shaw sucked in an offended breath, eyes fixed on the screen. “And here I was giving you a pass after finding out about your and Evan’s past relationship. Well, now your dead to me…dead I say.”

“What the hell, Blake.” His date jumped to her feet. “Is there something going on between you and Evan’s girlfriend?”

Stillness swept over the living room and everyone’s attention was no longer on their television screen.

“Hillary, what the hell are you talking about?” Blake pulled his six-four frame up from the couch slowly with a frown.

Shaw had gone all stiff in front of me and was staring opened-mouthed at Blake’s date. I wanted to add my own ‘what the hell’, but I was going to give Blake first crack at getting his date in hand. Wrapping my arms around Shaw’s waist I drew her flush to my front giving her nonverbal affirmation that I had her back.

“You’ve barely paid any attention to me tonight and now you’re flirting with this girl.” Hillary threw a glare and her hand toward Shaw.

My muscles jerked in anger at the glare. Normally I found female jealousy comical or exasperating, but not this time, and not directed at Shaw.

Blake frowned. “Maybe if you had played any of the games with me we would have talked more.”

“I don’t like video games that much.” She whined.

“I told you this was a gamer party. Why would you say you wanted to come if you don’t like video games?” Blake tossed his arms up in irritation.

“I wanted to spend time with you,” she pouted. “But I didn’t think you would completely ignore me, and then flirt with someone else.” She narrowed her eyes at Shaw.

“It’s called clever chitchat. It’s not my fault you don’t know the concept of it.” Shaw snapped angrily.

I knew she wouldn’t be able to hold her tongue for long.

The girl’s mouth pursed and Blake sighed. “Let me take you home, Hillary. Obviously this party wasn’t your cup of tea.”

“No, my cup of tea is a boyfriend who pays attention to me and not some other girl.” Hillary huffed, continuing to scowl at Shaw.

Okay, that was enough; no one looked at Shaw that way, not even Blake’s brainless twit of a date. “Keep looking at my girlfriend like that and I’ll let her go and sick her on you, and I’ll have Seth’s girl have a go at you too.”

Out of the corner of my eye I watched Nadia heed my hint by pulling out her knife and twirling it around her fingers. Hillary’s eyes rounded in fear and she grabbed Blake’s arm pulling him in front of her.

“Oh my, god, Blake. She’s going to stab me.”

Rolling his eyes Blake expelled a deep breath and gave Nadia a glower. “For the love of…she’s not going to stab you. She’s just messing with you because you’re being completely ridiculous.”

“She’s waving a knife around and I’m being ridiculous.” Hillary pointed at herself in what appeared to be livid disbelief.

Blake’s jaw was tense as he grasped her arm and pulled her after him out of the room. “You’re being ridiculous because of Shaw. You actually do have something to be scared about with Nadia.”

“Hey, thanks Blake, for saying I’m ridiculous…Cherry on top of my night.” Shaw yelled after them.

“That’s not what I meant, Shaw. You’re hot fudge sundae great.” Blake bellowed back.

There was a high angry screech from the hallway.

Caressing Shaw’s stomach I kissed her neck. “That’s not what he meant, Red. Blake would never make any kind of move on you because you’re with me. He has the bad luck of picking girls who have this sickly sweet façade hiding an inner bitch.” I pulled on her ear lobe. “And don’t worry, because I’m the cherry on top of your night.”

  Her rigid muscles slowly relaxed.

“Should we grab you guys some whipped crème?” Nadia set her grinning chin on the back of the couch, her strawberry blonde hair covered with a green Farah wig.

Trick leaned back dipping his head towards hers. “I’ll take some…if you’re offering.” He wiggled his brows.

Seth treated him to the same head smack I’d given him earlier.

Unfazed, Trick smirked and turned back to his game. “What…I’m hungry with all this talk of cherries, hot fudge, and whip crème.”

Shaw shifted sideways and stuck her face in my neck. “You know I was only running my mouth with Blake, right?”

I can’t believe that bitch had Shaw burrowing in insecurity. I kissed her cheek. “Of course. I love how you get along with the guys.”

I did like that she interacted so easily with them, and while the little green monster rattled my cage sometimes, he was easier to lock down when she was nestled up next to me.

Shaw raised her head and kissed me hesitantly. Gripping her nape I tilted her head and deepened it. Blood rushed south at a dizzyingly rate and seconds later my dick was hard as fucking steel.

Shaw pulled her mouth from mine slightly and murmured softly against my lips. “I want to show you something.”

My dick pulsed with hope and I licked her bottom lip. “Lead the way.”

  CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE

  SHAW

Hopping off Evan’s lap I pulled him from the room and called over my shoulder. “Trick, Evan and I will grab you something to eat.”

“Don’t forget the whipped crème.” He laughed after us.

I towed Evan down the hall to the stairs leading to the basement. No one paid us too much attention since everyone was focused on their games than where we were heading. The condo had a sauna room that David hadn’t as yet switched on and I dragged Evan into it. Shutting the door behind us I flung my arms around his neck, pressed my entire body to his, and kissed him hungrily. His strong arms curled around me, hugging me to him tightly, and he returned my kiss just as fanatically.

Lifting my right leg and hooking it over his hip I rubbed my aching core against his bulging erection, panting into his mouth. “I need you so badly right now. Show me how good you are at quickies.”

My body was screaming in arousal and I was reaching a point where if I didn’t get him in me as quickly as possible I thought I might expire, and all it had taken was for him to stick up for me and call me his girlfriend. I realized the alcohol in my system was playing a big part in lowering my shields and I was going to have to be very careful with the words that wanted to burst out of my mouth.

Groaning, Evan’s kiss turned aggressive, and spinning us he pressed me against the wooden wall of the sauna. I felt his hand between us as he dealt with the fastenings of his jeans, and then he was pushing them down.

I tugged up my skirt with shaking hands and was about to yank down my tights when Evan’s fingers took over. Instead of yanking them down he ripped out the material of the crotch, hiked my legs up off the ground over his arms, wrenched my panties to the side, and slammed into me.

My head fell back against the wall and I cried out in relief and pleasure. Tightening my legs around him and tilting my hips I clutched at his shoulders pulling him in closer. My inner muscles compressed and pulsated around his hard thickness.

Evan let out another groan, his face pressed into my neck, his hand
s squeezing my butt. “Fuckkkk! You are so wet.” Pulling out slowly Evan slammed back into me hard. He grunted and I gasped in bliss, fluttering around him. “So fucking tight.” He repeated the action, sucking on my neck. “So fucking good.”

He continued his slow, deep, upward thrusts while his lips journeyed up my jaw to my mouth. We were panting hard when his mouth latched onto mine, suckling on my top and bottom lip. I clutched at Evan’s hair as the tension mounted inside me and returned his kiss in frenzied need.

“Yes, Evan…yesss…oh, god…I need you…please…please…” Words spilled from my mouth I had no control over.

“You don’t have to beg. I’m here for you, Red. I’m always here for you.” Evan groaned, and suddenly he was powering into me faster, deeper, harder…wildly.

  “Yessss…yessss.” I cried.

He was setting me on fire. Electricity crackled in my core, zipping everywhere. Everything tightened, stilled, and then I exploded in a blinding, white-hot release. My tissues clenched so tightly around him that the friction of his unrelenting thrusts set off extra bursts of delight making my orgasm go on forever. I trembled as the power of it overwhelmed me.

Against my mouth Evan gave a long guttural groan, driving into me deeply and stilling. His cock pulsated and I felt the warm blast of his cum filling me, and out of the blue another hard contraction seized me.

Clutching at him I sobbed as the spasms shook me unrelentingly.

“Shiiiiiit.” Evan clasped me to him tightly, rocking me through the tempest.

When the intensity of it finally passed I sagged limply. Evan moved and I made a half-hearted effort to hang on as he lowered us to the wooden bench with my legs still wrapped around him, my inner tissues still rippled around his semi-hardness.

“God, you are fucking incredible.” Evan’s face lodged itself in my neck. “This is what I’ve been waiting to play all night.” He gasped.

I huffed out a breathless laugh, but my brain was too fried to come up with any response of my own. Instead, I planted small kisses along his sweaty neck. Uhmmm, before Evan I would have said male sweat was nasty, but he tasted good; salty and manly.

Evan’s hands tunneled under my shirt to caress my damp back, then to my stomach, and then up to my boobs. His touch was gentle as he cupped my sensitive flesh, molding them and rolling my nipples. I sighed blissfully.

“I forgot about these though, so we might have to play another round.” He rumbled.

I rocked and ground down onto his partial erection inside me, my core still humming with the aftershocks of my orgasm. “I’m game.” I breathed, compressing around him making us both moan.

Covering my mouth, Evan’s lips and tongue devoured me much more tenderly this time as he squeezed my breasts, pinching and pulled my nipples. Before I knew it both our shirts were gone, as well as my wig and bobby-pins, freeing my unruly curls.

His lips took the place of his hands and I gasped as they closed over one engorged nipple sending jolts of electricity through my body. With a helpless moan, I writhed and panted, tangling my fingers in his silky hair I attempted to find a rhythm with my hips that would drive him out of his mind. I wasn’t going to be the only one going crazy.

“That’s it, Red.” He swallowed my breast and let it slide out slowly while tonguing the tight bud. “Make yourself come hard on my cock.” His hips rocking with mine.

Words vanished as we moved unhurriedly together. It was dark in the small space except for the light coming in from the little window built into the door that provided just enough luminosity that when Evan raised his head to kiss me our eyes locked and I couldn’t look away at the intensity I saw in his.

His hand gripped my nape as he held me immobile for his kiss. “Feels so good, Shaw. Tell me it feels good to you?” He whispered into my mouth.

“So good, Evan. Too good.” I whimpered against his lips. The tension coiling inside me was reaching an agonizing level telling me I didn’t have much longer.

Evan’s hips began to pump faster. “No one else could make you feel like this, could they?”

I shook my head. “No…no one else…just you.” I panted.

His features tightened and looked harsh. “Damn right.” He bit at my lips. “Only I can make you feel like this.” He surged hard into me and I cried out at the acute pleasure.

His hands moved to my waist and suddenly he turned wild, hammering up into me. The tension snapped and I screamed into his mouth as he growled out his climax with me. When the pulses ebbed I wilted, my head falling on his shoulder.

“Damn, you take me to another plane.” He breathed.

Silence settled over us and I enjoyed the time curled up against him. I loved the sex, but cuddling with Evan filled a space inside me that I never knew was empty. I planned to gorge myself on both during our time together.

When I got my breath I murmured. “Do you think Trick is still waiting for me to bring him food?”

“He can get his own damn food?” Evan hugged me tight. “Hey, want to climb some walls with me tomorrow?”

I grinned into his neck. Only Evan would pop out a question like that right now. “Yeah, it sounds like a blast. Do you want to come over afterwards for dinner?” I tried to keep my voice blasé, like I could care less if he did or not.

“Sounds like a plan.” He rumbled. “You want to go to my house and do this all over again?”

“Sounds like an even better plan.” I sighed.

“My plans are always awesome.” He boasted.

I let him believe that…because I couldn’t refute it. His plans were typically pretty awesome.

The next two weeks flew by.

Sunday, after the gamer party, Evan did take me rock climbing…technically it was a wall formed to look like rock. David and a half a dozen others from the group joined us. Afterwards we all went out to eat and it turned into a really fun day.

The next weekend was Halloween and we took part in a scavenger hunt that some Fraternity on Campus put together. It had a pricey grand prize that I knew the group had won last year. This year we weren’t as lucky. I don’t know how we would have divided a Caribbean Cruise for four between sixteen people anyway. The hunt itself was so entertaining that no one really cared about winning, and then most of us ended up back at the guys house drinking and playing trivia games to top off the night.

Sunday several of us went downtown to a Star Wars Comic-con Expo. We didn’t dress up, but witnessing all the characters that showed up in theirs was fascinating as hell. Some were top of the line costumes, while others were just laughable. Afterwards we went to lunch and then walked around the mall. Evan dragged me into the store ‘Make Your Own T-Shirt’ and ignoring my strident protests bought me four new shirts with humorous statements on them.

He surprised me with a fifth t-shirt back at his house later that night. It read: Property of Evan Michaels. Penalty for touching is a severe ass kicking. I snapped him with the shirt, called him an asswipe, and told him he wasted twenty dollars on a rag I was going to use to clean the floors. He just laughed, snagged me around the waist, and carried me to his bedroom to show me how much his stamp was already on me.

Later at my apartment I stared at the shirt in parts anger, pain, and longing, before folding it and sticking it way back in one of my drawers.

During the week I caught up on course work and my business. I’d gotten slightly behind in both since my weekends were filled with Evan now. My weeknights were also busy with him since he stopped by each night after leaving the office. He’d drag me to the bedroom as soon as he walked through the door around six o’clock. Thirty minutes to an hour later we’d come out to eat, watch television or finish our school work, talk with each other or with Carrie and Nic if they were around, and then toward the end of the night we’d head back to the bedroom to spend an hour or two making love and then falling into an exhausted sleep.

He was spending the night more than not, at least six out of se
ven nights, and it was ruining me. He would give me this tender kiss on either my forehead or cheek each morning before he left for the office while I pretended to be asleep. Once he was dressed and out the door I would grab the pillow he’d used and wrap it tight to my aching chest while inhaling his scent wishing for things that were never going to happen. Some days I was able to hold back the tears and accepted the inevitable.

As the days filtered by and the one month mark passed it became harder to enjoy the time I had with Evan. I was starting to over examine his every word and expression to see if he was getting bored with me yet, and I thought everything was fine…until a few days ago.

Monday he called and told me he’d be working late and for the first time wouldn’t be stopping by. It was one day so I didn’t think anything of it. I mean, we couldn’t spend everyday together. I did see him at lunch so it wasn’t all bad.

But then Tuesday and Wednesday he called again with the same excuse. Something like that shouldn’t have put so much apprehension inside me because I knew he had a demanding job, and he did sound frustrated and unhappy about it, but the timing seemed too coincidental. We still texted and Evan explained some of the details of why he had to work later; something to do with the plant and machine parts failing, and it totally made sense, but it didn’t stop my spiral into depressing uncertainty.

I had spent time each day during the past month reminding myself to keep my guard up; not to feel too much, not to expect anything, because when the hurt came…and it most definitely would…I needed to be prepared for it. I reminded myself that I was stronger than I used to be, but that broken, sad girl who yearned for just the smallest scrap of affection couldn’t be beat down. She was always there no matter how much I tried to ignore her, no matter how much life disappointed and rejected her.

A nudge to my shoulder pulled me from my apprehensive thoughts and back to the present; eating lunch with Carrie, Sam, and David.

I turned my head to see Carrie staring at me with concerned eyes. “Are you feeling okay?”

Taking a deep breath I let it out with a smile. Years of hiding my feeling came in handy. “I’m good, why?”
