Ink: Savage Crows Book One: An MC Romance Novel Page 6

She nodded in understanding. "Fuck!" Grim roared out as he rushed into the room. "We've got company. Someone followed Medic." He informed us.

Rage turned my vision red as I swung my fist out at Medic. Thor grabbed me in time, keeping me from pummeling my fists into Medic's face. "Not now, Ink!" Thor roared at me. "We need to get her to fucking safety!" He barked at me.

My hands were shaking with the need to fucking destroy something. "Reina, get dressed!" I barked at her as I turned to face Thor and Grim. "How far?" I asked Grim. I needed to know how much time I had to get her the fuck to safety. The bunker was a bit back in the woods.

"We've got three minutes before they fucking get here, Ink." Grim told me.

I looked at Thor. "I need you with Reina." I ordered. His eyes widened in shock. He hadn’t expected me to leave her with him. "Take Medic with you. Grim and I have got this."

I felt Reina's hands on my upper arm as soon as the words left my mouth. I looked down at her to see her in a pair of jeans and a tank top. "Ink -" She started, but I cut her off as I shook my head at her. I knew she was nervous, and I knew that it was going to terrify her to go without me, but I needed to be out here with Grim.

I grabbed her face in my hands. "Reina, I need you to go with Thor and Medic, understand? Grim and I have got this. We'll be fine. Go." I told her, my voice firm but gentle.

I pressed my lips to hers in a short, hard kiss before I shoved her gently towards Thor. "I'm trusting you, Thor." I ground out through clenched teeth as I looked down at Reina, seeing tears fall from her wide, brown eyes, making my heart shatter in my chest.

Fuck, I hated seeing her cry.

He nodded at me as he lifted Reina’s small body in his massive arms. "I'll protect her with my life, brother." He told me, and I knew he would.

They rushed out of the back door, Reina in Thor's arms. I looked at Grim. He nodded once at me. "Head in the game, brother." He told me. "One fuck up could cost us her life." He bitterly reminded me, knowing that if something happened to her, I would lose my fucking shit – the club would potentially lose a brother.

I nodded once, letting him know that I understood. "Grim," I said as I pulled my gun out, taking cover beneath one of the windows as he did the same, "I need your word that if something happens to me, you and Thor will move her to another safe location. She is our main fucking priority."

Grim clenched his jaw, not liking the idea, but he nodded nonetheless, just as I knew he would. Before he could say anything though, gun shots rang out around us. There were so many gunshots that Grim and I couldn't even begin to rise from our positions under the window to shoot back.

The shots suddenly stopped all at once, and I heard my brother's voice ring out, making me clench my jaw angrily. "I know you've got her here, Ink." He shouted. "And I assure you I'm not fucking leaving here without her."

"You'll never get your fucking hands on her again, Jordan!" I shouted back, fury pulsing through every nerve ending in my body. I wanted blood.

"You've got thirty fucking seconds, Ink, or I'll blow this whole fucking place to smithereens." Jordan warned me.

I looked at Grim, knowing not to take Jordan's threats lightly. If he said he was going to do something, he was going to fucking do it. Jordan was just as cold blooded as I was, but we were cold blooded in two different ways. I was like this to protect those I cared about. Jordan? He was just purely fucking evil.

"Get out of here, Grim, and get my woman to safety." I told him quietly.

"Ink -" He started, but I shook my head at him.

"Just go, Grim!" I snarled, knowing time was ticking down. "I've got this. Fucking go."

"Swear to God, Ink, if you fucking die, I'll bring you back from the dead and kill you myself." He snarled at me.

Grim took off towards the back door as I threw my gun out on the porch. I stepped up, my hands above my head in surrender. I walked out onto the porch, my eyes locking with the same colored blue eyes as my brother.

Something hard slammed against my temple, and everything went dark.

When I finally regained consciousness, I was chained from a ceiling. My shirt was removed as were my boots, leaving me in only my jeans and socks. My cut was shredded at my feet, making rage swirl in my chest.

  You didn't fuck with a man's cut.

I looked around me, seeing other cells around me. the place matching Reina's description of where she was held against her will. Four other women were in the cells around me, all of them watching me cautiously.

Which meant two of them were either critically injured and in the infirmary that Reina had told me about, or they were dead.

I heard a door open, and suddenly, Jordan came walking through the cells, a sneer twisting his lips as he opened the door to mine. "I always knew that little whore would be your fucking downfall, Drew. You could never resist those damn eyes of hers.”

I just watched him calmly, though every part of me was itching to slit his fucking throat. "Seems like she's going to be yours instead, Jordan. You know as soon as the Savage Crows hears that I'm fucking missing, they're going to destroy you, right? And knowing my brothers, they'll save you for me." I taunted.

"They'll never fucking find you, Drew - not until I'm damn good and ready for them to find you. You took what was mine, Drew. You know I fucking hate sharing."

"She was never fucking yours, Jordan." I snarled at him, losing my cool. My temper would be my fucking downfall one day, but at that moment, I really couldn’t give less of a fuck. "Having to force yourself between her fucking legs does not make her yours." His features twisted into a snarl. I grinned at him maliciously. "She begged me to fuck her, Jordan. And when she fucking came, it was my name that she screamed." I taunted.

He picked up a crowbar. I clenched my jaw, trying to mentally prepare myself for the pain that I was about to endure. He sent a crushing blow against my ribs, and no amount of preparation would have prepared me for the pain. I tightened my jaw against the pain, fisting my hands on the chains above me.

  But he didn't stop there.

He kept beating the ever-living fuck out of me until I blacked out from the pain.

Her soft hands ran through my hair as I rested my head on her lap. Her small hands were shaking as beautiful tears slid from those brown eyes I loved so much. "Oh, Ink, you stupid, stupid man." She whispered softly, her long brown tresses tickling my bare chest. "You're going to be okay. You were so stupid for making Grim leave you behind.” She quietly cried.

"It was for you, sweet girl." I murmured, reaching up to gently run my fingertips over her beautiful face. I knew I was going to die here, but I would gladly die a thousand times over if it meant she got to live one more day. "I will gladly do it all over again if it means you're safe." I told her honestly.

More tears tracked down her soft cheeks. "But you're so hurt, Ink." She sobbed. "He's hurting you so much. I never wanted this to happen to you."

"Reina, sweetheart, I will always do whatever it takes to keep you safe - to keep your little one safe." I leaned forward and pressed a tender kiss to her belly. Her breath left her on a shudder as she quietly sobbed, her hands momentarily tightening in my hair. "Everything's going to be alright, sweet girl."

"He's coming, Ink." She whispered. "I have to go. I can’t be here with you when he’s here."

"Reina, no, wait!" I shouted, desperately trying to latch onto her, but she disappeared.

I ripped my eyes open, my eyes locking on Jordan who was lounging on a chair in front of me, a cigarette dangling from his lips. "Seemed like a nice dream.” He commented. I scowled. “I dream about her a lot, too – dream of her tight, little pussy wrapping around my cock." He taunted.

I grunted, in too much pain to reply. But that's when I heard it.

  The Savage Crows were here.

Gunshots rang out above us, and Jordan jumped up, rage twisting his features. "Fuck!" He roared. He pulled a gun out, pointing it at me. I met his gaze steadily. I wasn't afraid of d
eath. I knew my brothers would take care of Reina. I knew at the end of all of this, Reina was safe and protected.

I could die peacefully with that knowledge. I had fucking saved her.

And I knew Jordan was meeting his own end today.

I looked behind him to see Sabotage and Blink shoving open the cell door at the same time that Jordan pulled the trigger. A roar of pain left my lips as the bullet ripped through my shoulder. The girls around me screamed, their screams only getting louder as Blink quickly splattered Jordan's brains everywhere.

"Fuck, Ink!" Sabotage roared as he rushed over to me. He snatched the chair that Jordan had been lounging in, dragging it over to where I was chained from the ceiling. My breathing was shallow, the pain fucking almost unbearable. "Fuck, brother, you're losing a lot of fucking blood." He ground out. "Blink, catch him!"

As soon as Sabotage unchained me, I dropped down, a shout of pain leaving my lips as Blink caught me before I slammed into the concrete below me.

"Reina." I breathed, desperately trying to keep my eyes open long enough to know if she was okay.

"She's safe, brother." Sabotage told me. "She's at the club house with Thor and Medic. They wouldn't leave her side, claiming it was your last order."

I nodded once as my eyes drooped closed. My brothers had kept their word to me that they would keep her safe. That was all I needed to know.

Thor watched me as I paced back and forth in front of the bar, fear gripping my chest with a strong fist. I'd been on edge, terrified for Ink's safety since Grim had informed us of what he'd done.

  I couldn’t fucking believe him.

Why in the world would he give himself over like that?

Soon as they called Sabotage to inform him of what had happened, he had ordered us to come home, claiming that Jordan wouldn't make any moves towards me while he had Ink. And while that gave me a tiny bit of relief, that relief was soon smothered by my fear for Ink's life. I knew how ruthless Jordan was, how fucking insane he was.

Ink would be lucky to make it out of there alive.

The men had left hours ago, leaving Thor and Medic here at the club house with me. Apparently, the two men planned on continuing to follow Ink’s orders despite the fact that I was more than likely safe while Jordan had Ink.

"He's going to be alive, girly." Thor told me gruffly. I slowly turned to face him, my face pale as my stomach churned with nausea. "Ink's a strong one. And when he's got something to fight for, he's even fucking stronger." He tried assuring me.

A tear slipped down my cheek. "I'm so scared for him, Thor." I managed to choke out.

He gave me a small, sad smile. "I know, girly." He told me. "Trust me, we all are, but we all also know Ink very well. It's going to take more than a psychopath to take him down. If you believe anything, believe that he'll come back home to you."

The club house doors banged open. "Medic!" Sabotage roared.

"Take him into the chapel!" Medic shouted, shoving open the doors that led to the chapel where the men had sat for three hours trying to figure out where Jordan might have had Ink. I couldn’t remember how to get there – all I was able to do was give them descriptions of the area.

From there, Scorpion had apparently pinpointed a location.

A strangled cry left my lips as my eyes landed on Ink. He was unconscious. He was shirtless, and blood covered his skin, and where there wasn't blood, there were bruises. His hair was matted down with blood as well. I sobbed, pain lancing through my chest.

  "Ink!" I shouted, rushing forward.

Sabotage gripped my upper arms gently, stopping me in my tracks. I whimpered, my eyes never moving from Ink as they carried him through the chapel doors. "Reina, hun, I know you want to be in there, but right now, I need you to stay right here and wait for Medic to help him, okay?"

Tears poured down my cheeks. "Sabotage, how bad is he?" I choked out as I looked up at my man’s president.

Sabotage's lips fell into a grim line. I rolled my lips into my mouth to keep from wailing. "Not going to lie, Reina, he looks pretty bad. But when we got there, he was conscious and thinking clearly. He asked about you, wouldn't give in to the darkness until he knew you were okay.” I sobbed. “So, right now, I just need you to focus on staying okay, alright? Because that's what he's going to need when he wakes up. Can you do that for him?" He gently asked me.

I jerkily nodded my head, my legs shaking beneath me. Sabotage gently led me over to the couch, easing me down onto it. "Thor, get her a water and sit with her. We need to make this shit as easy on Ink as we can, and since he wanted you with her, you stay with her until he's awake and gives you an order otherwise, you got that?" Sabotage commanded.

"Got it, Prez." Thor responded, walking over to me with a bottle of water.

I stared through the entrance to the chapel, watching as Medic worked on Ink.

Ink, please, pull through. I silently begged him. I need you here with me.

"Fuck!" Ink's familiar shout sounded through the club house.

For three hours now, we had all been sitting and impatiently waiting on Ink to wake up. He had been moved to the couch once Medic had finished getting the bullet out of his shoulder and bandaging up all of his other wounds. I had Sabotage on one side of me, and Thor was on my other. Blink was sitting on a chair behind me. The brothers had formed a sort of circle around me - protecting their Road Captain's old lady.

"Calm down, brother." Scorpion said, walking over to Ink as he struggled to sit up.

“Where the fuck is Reina?” Ink growled.

I jumped up from my seat, rushing over to him. His eyes moved over to me, his features softening. With his good arm, he caught me and wrapped his strength around me, crushing me to him. I sobbed as I wrapped my arms around him. "Fuck." He whispered into my hair. "You're okay." He grumbled. "You're fucking okay."

"I'm okay." I assured him. "I'm going to hurt you if I don't get up." I softly reminded him.

He shook his head, brushing his lips against my temple. "It's a welcome pain, sweet girl." He told me, making my heart swell in my chest.

Tears rushed down my cheeks as I cupped his face in my hands. "I was so worried about you." I sobbed. His face fell as he brushed his lips to my cheeks, doing his best to kiss away my tears. "Why the fuck did you do that?!" I shouted at him as I jumped up to my feet, thrusting my hands through my hair. "You had me worried fucking sick, Ink!"

  "Sit down." Ink said gruffly.

"No." I snarled at him, suddenly angry.

He looked up at me, his eyes flashing dangerously. I swallowed nervously. "Reina, sit the fuck down." He snapped up at me.

Crossing my arms over my chest, I sat down next to him. Once I was sitting, he laced his hand into my hair and smashed his lips to mine. Cheers sounded around us as his lips worked against mine. My blood pounded in my ears as I eagerly kissed him back, my hands grasping his face in my hands as I opened my lips under his, a soft moan leaving my lips as his tongue slid against mine.

When he pulled back from me, my chest was heaving up and down, my nipples hard against my bra. With a pain filled grunt, he pushed himself to his feet. I reached out to help him, but he shook his head at me. Sabotage walked up to us, drawing Ink into a hug. "Good to have you back alive, brother. Do some dumb shit like that again, and it'll be me kicking your ass next time."

  Ink nodded once. "Understood, Prez."

"Get some rest, brother. We'll have church in the morning." Sabotage told him.

Once we were upstairs in Ink's room, he closed his room door, locking it behind him. "I need a shower, sweet girl. Go ahead and get comfortable. I won't be long." He assured me.

"Will you be okay?" I quietly asked him. He had to be in a shit ton of pain.

He nodded, leaning forward to brush his lips over my forehead. I sighed softly as I closed my eyes, relishing in the comfort he was offering me. "I'll be fine, sweetheart. This isn't my first rodeo." He told me.

Biting my lip, I nodded, allowing him to walk
into his bathroom. In less than five minutes, he was out, his bruised, beaten body bare as he towel dried his hair with his good hand, his other arm hanging at his side. I let my eyes run over him, sucking in a sharp breath at his cock. He was already hard, instantly making me wet for him.
