Jake groaned. She was tight around him like a well-fitted glove. He pulled back and then thrust into her, feeling her body envelop him. Slow, steady movements…their gaze locked. Keyoni’s breathing was low and labored as he entered her. As she got used to the new experience, she relaxed. The more he moved within her, the better it felt. In and out, each and every stroke left her riveted. She couldn’t look away.
Jake watched her eyes. She’d watch him, then close them. As Jake neared his peak, he called out her name so she’d look at him. He wanted to remember this moment forever. He knew his bear would be satiated. He certainly was. There would be time for a rough, ragged, romp later. For now, he’d give her the gift of a special first time. He just didn’t realize how special it would be to him, as well.

Keyoni waddled to Jake’s truck. “Do you have my bag?”
“It’s right here,” he said, running before her to open the door.
“Oh, another contraction,” she said, stopping to catch her breath.
“I’ll call your folks when we get there. And my folks will hop a plane when we’re certain. I can’t wait for them to finally meet you. Sure, Skype is one thing, but in person, they’ll adore you even more.”
“Okay,” she said climbing into Jake’s truck. “I’m good for a few more minutes.”
“Hang in there, baby. We’re on our way.”
Everything happened so fast. The pregnancy, their marriage, the change of plans, but it all fell into place the way it was supposed to. Now, with a baby on the way, his life was complete. He never knew how much he wanted a family until he had one. Keyoni knew the moment they were together the first time. She knew when he was over her, looking into her eyes, she never wanted to leave his side.
Her studies would wait. And her father was able to pull some strings and put her in a safer position than being out on the snow and ice with the polar bears while she was pregnant. She’d figure out the rest as she went along. After all, some of the best experiences were the ones she hadn’t planned. With another shifter generation on the way, she had her eyes on a foundation for genetic research. And, along with her family’s love and help, she knew she’d meet all her life goals.
