  Tears no longer flow from my eyes because I know that there is something else, something waiting for me and I will not cease to search until I find my destiny.

  I just want my words to help, me and whoever picks up this book in their hands. Because in the end, it is a part of my life that I don´t want to erase, for I have learned from it and without those experiences I would not be who I am today.

  Samantha closed her new diary; it was smart brown with golden borders, now complete and left it on top of her bed as she heard how her mother called her, shouting as she knocked on the entrance to Gabriel´s house. She left the room and ran down the corridor leaving her sister and brother-in-law behind; despite the bags under her eyes and the tiredness from not having slept a night since the day before, she moved fast. She knew that her mother brought news, so she didn´t delay in placing her hand on the handle of the door.

  A cold wind froze her face when she opened the door. The fast beats of her heart eager for good news summed to her amazement. Surprised, she looked on both sides of the deserted street. Her mother was no longer there…
