SOULBOUND
A dark force is rising in London...
Sebastian Montcalm knows freedom for the first time in his life, but it has come at the cost of his father's soul. Driven by guilt, Sebastian knows that if he can learn to harness his uncontrollable sorcery then he might be able to save his father from a demon's grip, but every move he makes leads to failure. The only thing that gives him hope is the innocent touch of Cleo Sinclair, the woman he was forced to marry, but Sebastian knows that his darkness will drown out her light. She'd be better off without him.
She could be his salvation...
Cleo knew her father only ever loved her for the power of her visions, but when he bartered her away in marriage to a man she'd never met, she realized how little value she truly had. Her husband, Sebastian, was nothing more than a dark warmth in her bed, a tortured stranger who refused to touch her. And now, when he needs her the most, he won't even look at her.
...Or he could be her destruction.
When Cleo receives a powerful vision of a darkness that threatens London, she knows she is the key to defeating it. Only by working together can she and Sebastian prevail. But is Sebastian the one who can end this prophetic doom, or the one bound to begin it?

About the Author
Bec McMaster is the award-winning author of the London Steampunk series. When not poring over travel brochures, playing netball, or cooking things that are very likely bad for her, Bec spends most of her time in front of the computer. A member of RWA, she writes sexy, dark paranormals, and adventurous steampunk romances, and grew up with her nose in a book. Following a life-long love affair with fantasy, she discovered romance novels as a 16 year-old, and hasn't looked back.
In 2012, Sourcebooks released her debut award-winning novel, Kiss of Steel, the first in the London Steampunk series, followed by: Heart of Iron, My Lady Quicksilver, Forged By Desire, and Of Silk And Steam. Two novellas–Tarnished Knight and The Curious Case Of The Clockwork Menace–fleshed out the series. She has been nominated for RT Reviews Best Steampunk Romances for Heart of Iron (2013), won RT Reviews Best Steampunk Romance with Of Silk And Steam (2015), and Forged By Desire was nominated for a RITA award in 2015.
In 2016, she debuted the Dark Arts series with Shadowbound, and the second London Steampunk: The Blueblood Conspiracy series begins in July 2016 with Mission: Improper.

I always knew the ending of this book was going to be a mixture of HEA and loss. I’ll admit that even I teared up at the end. Good news people: it will get better. I promise. But it’s going to take all three brothers to get there.
I enjoyed every second of writing this novel, but as with every project I take on, I couldn't have done it without a lot of help from these amazing people:
I owe huge thanks to Jennie Kew and Kylie Griffin for the beta read–you know you have something good when you can put them on the edge of their seats–to Olivia from Hot Tree Edits for all the editorial efforts on this project, and my wonderful cover artists at Damonza.com for that glorious cover. Special thanks go to my very own beta hero, Byron–who encourages and supports me every step of the way–and to the Central Victorian Writers Group, for all of the tea and chocolates consumed at our meetings/brainstorming sessions.
And to everyone who read/loved/reviewed/ or talked about this book, you guys are awesome! I hope you enjoyed Verity and Bishop’s HEA. Now onwards to poor Sebastian’s!
