In the mirror, Jess’s whole body was flushed red, and her hair was a mess. His face was slick with sweat, and they were both shaking. Shit, they needed another shower, but he didn’t want to let her go. His body had other ideas, however, and his softened cock slid from inside her, and she gasped.
“You okay, babe?”
She laughed shakily. “Define okay.”
For a second he panicked, but then he caught her gaze in the mirror, and he relaxed.
“I’m better than okay. That was …” She paused, blinked twice. “Amazing. Incredible. And I can’t think of any other words right now because my brain is mush.” She frowned slightly. “You?”
He swept some of her hair back and kissed her neck. “Another five-star orgasm. I’m going to have to take vitamins if we keep up with this.”
She snorted, and he smiled, resting his head against hers. He kissed her nose and settled her closer in his arms. They needed that shower, but damn, he didn’t want to let his incredible wife out of his arms. Besides, he still needed to clear up one point with her.
“I have a confession to make,” he said. He owed her this much. She’d opened up to him in ways he’d never expected, had given their sedate sex life a welcome jolt.
“What’s that?”
“You know the question you almost asked me before we were interrupted last week? Am I disgusted by the thought of anal sex? You have to know by now the answer is no. And honestly? I’ve wanted to do that for years,” he admitted. “I never said anything, because I figured you’d think it was sick, and I didn’t want to wreck what we had. I decided I could live without it.”
She lifted her head, looked at him with wide, shocked eyes. “Really?”
He gave her a sheepish grin. “Sound familiar?”
She nodded, then laid her head back down against his chest.
Alex rubbed gentle circles on Jess’s back. “I’ll tell you this. Now that I know the kinds of things you want to try? Try keeping me away. Part of me feels like we’ve wasted years.”
“It wasn’t time,” Jess countered, realizing just how true her words were. “I needed to think about them by myself, first. I wouldn’t have been ready before, but I’m ready now. I’m glad you know how I feel. I don’t think I could’ve kept this hidden much longer. I love you, Alex.”
Alex’s voice rumbled under her ear. “Me too. I love you, Jessica.” He was starting to sound sleepy. “One of these days, maybe we can try my fantasies. I have this one about the Old West, where I’m the only law in town, and you’re the loose woman trying to seduce me into letting her go free after being arrested for being a horse thief.”
“Definitely.” She caressed the side of his face, listening to the comforting beat of his heart under her ear. It was steady and strong, just like the man himself. God, she loved him. In all the ways she’d imagined this playing out over the past three months, never once had she imagined Alex wholeheartedly jumping into her forbidden fantasies with both feet.
His breathing evened out, and she could tell he’d fallen asleep. She was exhausted, too, not just from their evening, but from the strain of the last several months.
She’d been worried about how he’d react, but she’d been so wrong. Instead of making her feel perverted, he made her feel sexy for wanting to act out her fantasies. Instead of living with unspoken desires, they’d opened a whole new, exciting chapter in their lives. Instead of ruining their marriage, they’d made it stronger. Jess closed her eyes and settled deeper against her husband, drifting toward sleep.
She couldn’t wait to see what tomorrow would bring.
About the Author
Jodie Griffin has always been a reader, but she didn’t always want to be a writer. She’d spend hours reading, but school papers were written one painful word at a time, and never over required word count. Then, one ordinary day, something changed. A story idea came, demanding to be put on paper. She resisted at first, but the wicked muse refused to leave her alone. After several years of practice, she took the leap and submitted her first story—and hasn’t looked back since.
Jodie’s own happily-ever-after includes one incredibly supportive husband, one future heroine and two kitties who keep her company as she writes. She works a full-time technical job and does her writing late in the evenings, on weekends, and sometimes even in the office cafeteria during her lunch hour—which can be interesting if she’s working on a love scene.
Forbidden Fantasies is her first published work.
Where no great story goes untold.
The variety you want to read, the stories authors have always wanted to write.
