She did it again, only this time he responded more favorably as the hard ridges of his cock slipped between her wet folds.

“I’ll never get tired of waking up with you in my arms, babe.” His breath ghosted across the nape of her neck. “Good morning, my love.” Chuck sucked her earlobe into his mouth, sending a delightful tremor through her.

“Say it again.” The weeklong separation left a void, and each time he said he loved her, it healed a little more.

Chuck flipped her onto her back and settled between her spread legs, his body pressing her into their mattress. “I love you. I never stopped and I never will. You are my forever and always. We will spend the rest of our lives together, you and me, and god willing a baby or two.”

Miranda’s face lit up like Rockefeller Center, and her eyes filled with moisture as she looked into the loving face of her husband. “Those babies will not make themselves. Make love to me.”

He growled and did exactly what she asked.

Chuck swiped her hair off her face and their mouths connected. His tongue thrust into her mouth, claiming her. He positioned himself at her entrance and pushed his way in. He wasn’t gentle, and he didn’t need to be. Miranda lifted her legs, placing them around his waist, and opened herself more to accommodate him.

He plucked at her nipple, then stroked the hardened point until she moaned. He used one hand to lift her ass off the bed as he slammed into her again. The friction, the angle, and the way he pushed the depths of penetration left her quivering. Chuck knew how to work her body. He owned her.

“Come for me, babe. Let me feel those muscles tighten around my dick.” His words and the skill he exuded sent shivers straight to her core.

He moved his hand where she needed it most. His wicked smile and playful green eyes made her sinfully wet. He circled her nub and rubbed it faster, massaging her clit until her legs quaked.

She cried out. “Yes, right there... Yes.” Miranda came hard and fast, contracting around him like he told her to.

“Fuck!” He was right with her. A few more pumps and a hot thick burst of semen coated her walls. “Miranda,” he growled as his body stilled.

They lay together like that panting and rejoicing for a good long while. Miranda glanced at the clock and reality beckoned. She had a shift at the diner and had promised to be there today. Christmas Eve was always a busy time. A smile tugged at the corner of her mouth, and she knew the euphoria of the past few hours would last all day.

She moved off the bed and stood, stretching her sore muscles. Parts of her body ached in the most delicious way. A glance out the window revealed white fluffy snowflakes dropping to the ground. It would be a white Christmas.

“I have to get ready for work, and so do you, handsome,” she said, lifting her arms high above her head.

“You’re so beautiful. Forget work and come back to me.” He reached out and pinched the side of her ass.

She giggled and swatted his hand. “I’m yours.”

“Bet your fine ass you are. Now, are you sure I can’t persuade you to stay in bed with me all day?” Chuck tossed back the covers, letting her feast her eyes on his scrumptious nude body. His cock waved at her like a third arm. The short break was enough for him to be recovered for another round.

Naked Chuck made a compelling argument, but Miranda had missed too much time already. Mr. Richardson was short staffed, plus Carly was heading home for the holidays. She would not flake on her boss, or her friend.

“And miss a chance to steal Dotty’s leftover pies? I don’t think so, but I like the way you think.” Miranda stepped next to the bed and sealed her lips over his. The kiss went from soft and gentle to hard and all-consuming in seconds. It took every ounce of willpower to pull away. She’d missed so many kisses, but she would never go without them again. “I love you Charles Radcliff, having you home for Christmas was everything I wanted.”

“Babe, I’m sorry I put us through that ordeal, but our relationship is stronger for having been tested. I promise that will never happen again. You and building our family is all I want for Christmas. It’s time to make your dreams come true. Let’s make a baby.”

Their mouths found one another again, and Miranda moaned as Chuck’s fingers gripped her ass pulling her over top of him. Chuck was insatiable as always, going for another all-star performance. She swiveled her hips until they were angled right where they needed to be, and Miranda fisted the sheets as he thrust inside her.

Carly could hold down the fort for another hour. It’s not like anything exciting ever happened at the diner...

  HOLIDAY FACE-OFF

Holiday Face-Off is a Christmas Sports Romance and is intended for a mature audience. A change of underwear may be required.

Loving hockey players has its share of drawbacks but a strong woman can handle any situation. Life isn’t perfect but the happily ever after should be. This is not your typical Sports Romance.

Theo Montagne has the world eating from the palm of his hand and he’s used to getting what he wants, and he wants her. All is fair in love and hockey.

  Right?

  Wrong.

Being single is the only way to protect her heart, especially from sexy bad boy hockey players who are a dime a dozen in the Canadian prairies. With a rash of disappearances in the area, heading home for Christmas is the only way to stay safe. University freshman, Carly Saint, has a chip on her shoulder and a past that’s off limits, but even the toughest woman can’t say no to Theo Montagne, the NHL’s rising star.

She thought she knew everything about the famous hockey player from what she’d seen on TV. Except a chance encounter with the smoking hot centreman isn’t at all what she expected. When the blizzard of the century forces them to seek shelter to survive, she discovers how different he is from any man she’s ever met.

Theo has certain naughty ideas of how they can spend their time in isolation, and Carly’s defensive game crumbles against the league’s top scorer. But when the snow tapers, their newly formed bond and lives will be put to the test.

Each book in the Puck Battle series will feature a different couple and can be read as a standalone. HEA guaranteed.
