“I appreciate everything you do for me.”
He ran his fingers along my arm.
“And I you… now, go sit down and I’ll bring it over.”
I kissed his shoulder again before grabbing my mug off the counter and settling myself at his dining table. A few minutes later, he brought over two plates for us before sitting down himself with a mug of tea. We both dug in, me groaning over how good it tasted.
“You spoil me,” I told him after I pushed my plate back, which only prompted him to grin at me.
“You deserve it.”
He reached over and took my hand, his face falling the next moment. It made me wonder what he was going to say next.
“I wanted to talk to you about Annie,” he started, looking down at his plate. “About what happened to her.”
I’d never wanted to push him, so to have him want to open up now made my heart ache.
“Adrian…”
“Annie was always so full of life, as you know. She got married to Callum when she was twenty and they were happy for a time, but that wasn’t enough for Annie. She wanted children, a family. And when she got pregnant the first time, she was overjoyed.”
His hand tightened in mine and I knew what he had to say next wouldn’t be pleasant.
“Then she had a miscarriage, which devastated her… but a few months later, she was determined to try again. She wasn’t going to let one failure stop her from becoming a mother.”
He let out a sigh and fiddled with the placemat on the table with his free hand.
“Each time they got pregnant, she miscarried. By the fifth time, the doctors told her they didn’t think she’d be able to carry to term. It broke something inside her and she ended up being sectioned. She hasn’t left the institution since. Callum tried to keep their marriage together for two years, but eventually, he filed for divorce, which she didn’t contest. It’s taken a toll on our parents and we don’t talk very often because of it. They expect me to do more, but there’s nothing I can do to help her when she doesn’t really want to help herself.”
The thought of Annie going through all of that cut me to the core. I could completely understand why it had affected her so badly. She’d talked to me often about wanting to become a mother when she was older. It’s all she wanted from life.
“I’m so sorry… that must have been awful for all of you.”
He nodded, meeting my eyes again. Sadness radiated from those dark depths, making me want to wrap him up in my arms. So I did just that. Getting out of my seat, I walked around and slid into his lap, curling my arms around his neck and kissing his cheek.
“I wanted you to know what happened to her and why I don’t see her. It’s not because I don’t love my sister, but she doesn’t respond to anything these days. Just sits staring at the wall. It’s a point of contention between me and my parents, but they don’t seem to understand my point of view on it.”
I did. When my grandfather got Alzheimer’s, he no longer remembered me and seeing him got too hard for me to cope with. Thankfully, my parents respected my position and never pushed me. He died a couple of years ago. At least he wasn’t suffering any longer and that was the most important thing.
“I understand why it’s hard on you. Seeing someone go through that isn’t easy, especially when you get nothing back from them. You’re right… you can’t help people who don’t want to help themselves. And sometimes the kindest thing to do for yourself is to let them go even when you love them.”
Adrian stared at me, his eyes full of love and admiration as if my words had given him everything he needed.
“What would I do without you, Tilly?” he whispered, bringing his hand up and stroking his fingers along my bottom lip.
“I don’t know… but I also don’t want to find out.”
“Neither do I.”
“Thank you for telling me. I admit I was wondering what happened to her, but I completely respect your position on it. You never have to explain yourself to me.”
He wrapped his arms around me and I laid my head on his shoulder. We sat for a long time in silence, just being together as if both contemplating his words and letting the emotions settle over us.
“Tilly…”
“Hmm?”
“I want you to move in with me.”
I hadn’t honestly thought about taking that step with Adrian, but I was at his more than my own place these days. My first thought was it would be amazing to wake up next to him every day and be together like this. I didn’t want to waste any more time. Adrian and I knew we wanted to be together forever.
“Okay,” I whispered, stroking my fingers down his chest.
He looked down at me.
“Okay?”
I nodded, smiling at him.
“Yeah, okay… I’ll move in with you.”
He stared at me for a long moment.
“I thought I would have to fight you on it. What about work? We still haven’t told anyone.”
I reached up and ran my fingers through his hair. He knew I worried about that, but honestly, nothing could keep me from this man. Not even relationships being frowned upon in our workplace.
“No, no fight… I love you and I want to wake up next to you every morning. And I really don’t give a shit what anyone at work thinks. We turn up together all the time as it is, I’m sure someone has cottoned on by now. No doubt Taniqua is gossiping about it even if she’s not said anything to me.”
Adrian snorted and rolled his eyes.
“That woman can gossip for England.”
“Then no doubt the whole courthouse already knows we’re together. So yes, Adrian, I will move in with you. Don’t forget, you told me you’d give me forever.”
He picked me up from the chair and carried me over to his sofa, pressing me down onto it and covering my body with his.
“And you’ll have it. I promise.”
He kissed me, making me melt for him completely. The next thing I knew, his hands were working open the buttons on the shirt I was wearing. He tugged it off me, leaving me bare as he pulled down his shorts and boxers. For a long moment, he just looked at me, his dark eyes blazing with a mixture of lust and love.
I grew impatient, wrapping my hand around his hard, metal-clad cock, stroking up and down. He groaned in response, but a smile played on his lips.
“Did you want something, Miss Evans?”
“Yes, Judge.”
His smile grew devious. My man absolutely loved it when we played this game. When I let him be my judge and jury.
“And what would that be?”
“Your cock inside me, Judge.”
He lowered his body to mine, batting my hand away so he could rub his cock along my wet pussy instead. The head of it nudged my clit, making me squirm beneath him.
“I think I’m going to have to sentence you to a punishing pounding since you’ve been such a naughty girl.”
I raised an eyebrow.
“Have I?”
“Mmm, yes you have.”
He dipped his head and kissed me, making me arch up into him, desperate for more. I moaned, clutching his shoulders as he dug a hand between us and lined himself up. The moment he slid inside me, I felt like home. This man fit me so perfectly, almost as if we’d been made for each other. I moaned louder into his mouth with each piercing, loving the stretch and mix of pleasure and pain it gave me.
Adrian didn’t hold back one bit, pulling out and thrusting in again. My nails dug into his skin as he took me, making me buck against him with each stroke.
“Fuck,” I cried out, pulling away from his mouth. “Oh fuck, more, please.”
He planted a hand by my head and shoved my leg up with the other to get deeper access. The extra sensation had bliss rushing through me at an alarming pace. Adrian never failed to satisfy me. Never failed to make me feel like the most beautiful woman he’d ever encounter. He gave me safety and love. Simply p
ut, this man gave me the world and I gave it to him in return.
He thrust into me harder, making me mewl and claw at his back. A grunt left his lips, but he didn’t complain about it. If anything, he loved it when I was a little wild with him. His eyes on me were so intense with desire and pleasure. I couldn’t stop looking at him. Couldn’t stop feeling everything he felt mixing with my own emotions.
“Forever,” I whispered as I crested the wave and it took me under.
I drowned in everything Adrian Sanders. And I didn’t want to come up for air. If I could remain like this eternally, I would.
It didn’t take him long to follow me down the rabbit hole. His groan mixed in with the rough pounding he gave me as he climaxed made my heart soar.
We both lay there when we came down, holding each other tightly as if we couldn’t imagine letting go. I could feel his heart hammering next to mine. The only sounds in the air were of our mutual harsh breath.
Adrian kissed my temple before trailing his lips down my face to meet my mouth.
“So beautiful,” he murmured against my lips. “You are everything to me, Tilly.”
“Are you sure you want to put up with me full time?”
He pulled back and stared at me with wide eyes, but they narrowed when he realised I was joking.
“I’m very sure even if I’m going to have to punish that smart mouth.”
I grinned.
“Oh well, someone has to keep her judge occupied at home with extra sentencing duties.”
He shook his head, but he was smiling too.
“You will be the death of me.”
“It’s lucky you love me so much then, isn’t it?”
He stroked my face. And in that moment, I felt content and complete now I had the man I’d loved my whole life in my arms. He was my home and I couldn’t wait to move in with him.
“Mmm, yes… I do love you, Tilly Evans. To the moon and back. I’m going to keep my promise and give you forever, so you better be prepared for it.”
And I most definitely was.
I sincerely hope you enjoyed reading this book as much as I enjoyed writing it. If you did, I would greatly appreciate a short review on your favourite book website. Reviews are crucial for any author, and even just a line or two can make a huge difference.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this book.
This book has taken me a long time to finish, but I’m so happy to have brought you Adrian and Tilly’s story. I’ve always wanted to write characters who knew each other as kids where one of them had a huge crush on the other one. Those are some of my favourite stories. They were so hot, but sweet at the same time. And I’ll admit to swooning many times over Adrian’s devotion to Tilly. I’m a bit of a sucker for guys who would do anything for their women. Hopefully you’ve enjoyed my judge’s dirty little tale. I promise… there’s more of these to come!
As always a huge thank you goes out to my partner in romance, Sabrina. You are the reason I keep writing these dirty treats. Your enthusiasm for each one gives me so much joy. You’re always there for me and I couldn’t do without you in my life. You’re truly the bestest friend I’ve ever had. No one gets me quite like you. We’re so in sync and on the same wave level. I can’t imagine a world where we’d not in each other’s lives. I love you forever, bruv!
