33 ft x 1320 ft (0.25 mile) = 43560 sq. ft = 1 acre which can theoretically feed 8 people if meat is from elsewhere. Potatoes are a very good crop - food value vs space
Orchard Close fields are now a strip over 500 yds. long x 800 yds. wide - 81 acres. There is more acreage at each end plus all the gardens inside the walls. The cultivated land will grow enough for 400 despite still being inefficient.
