“Back at you, Detective,” I giggled before tugging at the cuffs once again. “Can you let me go now, or am I still your prisoner?”
He chuckled as he rolled off me digging in his discarded jeans pocket and producing the key. After removing the cuffs, he rubbed my wrists where they were red from my tugging, and then I reached for him. “I didn’t hurt you, did I?” He wrapped me in his arms. “I don’t ever want to hurt you, but you do things to me that cause me to lose my mind.”
“I’m fine.” I smiled at him before craning my neck to place a kiss on his cheek. “There is one thing though,” I whispered.
“What’s that?” His weary eyes blinked at me.
“I need a shower. Want to join me?” I slowly sat up and moved to the edge of the bed. “Oh, and something to wear tomorrow since you destroyed my shirt and panties,” I giggled as I pranced toward the bathroom.
“That was my plan all along,” he chuckled from behind me. When I turned around to look at him, he clarified. “Ruin your clothes so you couldn’t leave.”
“Guess I’ll just have to be naked all weekend,” I shrugged before grinning and running the final few feet to the bathroom.
“Works for me,” he snickered.
As we climbed into the shower, I couldn’t help but giggle in happiness. I’d been hoping for this for so long, and now I had it. Jase was finally giving us a chance. I only hoped that it was real, that all this wasn’t just a dream because if it was, I never wanted to wake up again.
Chapter 13
Tiffany
When the sun began peeking through the blinds of Jase’s bedroom, I couldn’t help but burrow down in the covers. I was tired. I couldn’t believe how many times we’d made love the night before. My body couldn’t either. Every muscle in me hurt. It was a good hurt though. The sweet ache he’d created between my thighs reminded me that it was real. We’d started in the bed, moved to the shower, and when we’d gotten back into bed, I thought that we were going to be sleeping, but as Jase snuggled up behind me, I felt him grow hard again. If the future was anything like the present, I was never going to be deprived sexually.
I rolled to my back and looked over at the man sleeping beside me. He looked so young when he was relaxed and not trying to hide his feelings. His lips were parted slightly, and his breathing was deep and heavy. His dark lashes fanned across his cheek bones, and his hair was sticking up in every direction. When we’d climbed into bed after our shower, neither of us had bothered to comb our hair, causing some pretty interesting bed head.
I smiled sleepily as I shifted more so I was facing him. One arm was lying limply across his stomach, and the other was curled above his head gripping the pillow. A light stubble covered his jaw, and the sheet over us barely concealed what he had hidden underneath it.
I’d only seen glimpses over the months that we’d been sleeping together. Admiring him was the last thing on my mind when we were tearing at each other’s clothes. I’d always known that he was going to pull away, and I’d wanted things to last. Now that he was here, and we were actually going to try and make this work, I felt like I could step back and truly appreciate the man in front of me.
I propped myself up on my elbow as I slowly lifted the sheet at his hips. He didn’t even flinch as I leaned forward to peek underneath. His cock was semi-hard as it bobbed toward his thigh, and I licked my lips as I stared at it. As if it could sense me watching, it slowly began to harden before my eyes. I giggled to myself thinking he must be dreaming about me, and glanced back at his peaceful face. His nose twitched as he pursed his lips before settling back down. One leg swept out, kicking the covers and dislodging them from my hand as he shifted his hips. I blinked a few times as I let my eyes scan over him in all his naked glory. Jase was beautiful. His kept his body in top shape, and even in a relaxed state, his muscles bulged.
I shifted to my hands and knees while watching to make sure he remained asleep, and I slowly moved down toward the foot of the bed. I hadn’t had a chance do this to him, and I was dying to get a taste of him and drive him nuts like he did me. He’d always moved so fast from the foreplay that I’d never been able to tease him. Last night was an exception, and as much as I’d like to tie him up, I knew he’d wake if I tried.
When I moved to his hip, I reached over and palmed his erection. It was warm, and smooth like velvet. A small dot of moisture was sitting at the tip, and I wiped my thumb over it spreading it around. Jase grumbled something unintelligible before settling back into sleep. I giggled to myself as I rose up on my elbow and leaned forward. “How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?” I whispered, “or drive Jase crazy?” Without waiting for him to wake up and see what I was doing, I bent down and licked him from base to tip. His hips shifted as he moaned, and I glanced up at his face. His eyes were still closed, but they were scrunched up along with his mouth. “Mmmm,” I giggled to myself as I did it again.
“Feels so good,” he mumbled.
This time I rose up higher and took him completely into my mouth, sucking hard. I kept my eyes pinned to his as I began to sink down, and I grinned around him as his eyes flew open.
“Shit!” he hissed. “Tiff! Oh God! Feels fucking awesome,” he panted between my efforts. His hips rocked up off the bed as one hand blindly reached for me. I moved so I could use my other hand, and reached to pump him a few times. Jase was huge, and I knew if I was going to get him to lose it, it was going to take some creative work.
I hummed, causing a vibration, and Jase growled as one of his hands made its way into my hair. “Oh baby. Shit. Yes. You’re... really good... at this,” he panted. I cupped his balls giving them a gentle squeeze, and his hips rocked toward the ceiling. As I sunk down once again, I swirled my tongue around the tip, teasing him before letting him pop free from my lips.
“Like that, do you?” I giggled before licking around the tip and taking him deep in my throat. I hollowed my cheeks as I shifted onto my knees to get a better angle. Jase began to tense up, and I knew he was barely hanging on, but I kept it up, hollowing my cheeks once again.
“Ok,” he gasped. “I’m gonna come if you don’t stop,” he warned as he reached for me, tugging at my shoulders. “Baby, I want to be inside you when I come.” He was becoming frantic as I tightened my grip and doubled my efforts. I shook my head as I let my teeth scrape lightly across the tip, before sinking to the base again. “Fuck Tiff, I can’t,” his voice died as he trembled before his orgasm rushed to the surface.
I felt it hot and salty as it hit the back of my throat. I swallowed causing my tongue to massage him as he jerked a few times in my mouth. I slowly lifted my head, letting him slip from lips as I licked the last bit of cum from him. When I glanced up, his arm was draped over his eyes, and his breath was still ragged. I grinned in satisfaction as I slowly moved up the bed and positioned myself next to him. I wiped the back of my hand across my mouth before placing my palm on his chest to get his attention. “That was for all the teasing last night.” I giggled as his arm lifted slightly and he peeked at me from underneath it.
“You think I teased you last night?” He smirked. “You think you’ve got the upper hand right now, don’t you?”
I nodded my head as I let my fingers drift down his chest and across his abs. They tightened as he moved his arm and rolled to the side. “I know I do,” I stuck out my tongue slightly and bit the tip of it as I watched him. His eyes widened as they trailed over my face, pausing at my mouth. He licked his lower lip as he pinched his chin before snickering.
“Honey,” he rolled until he was draped halfway over me. “You will never have the upper hand when it comes to this. His lips descended on mine as a growl tore from his throat. His hands quickly pinned my wrists beside my head as he shifted to straddle my hips. “I will always be in charge in here,” he chuckled. “I just let you have that one.”
“Oh really?” I teased. I loved this side of him. He was playful, and the fact that he thought I was always go
ing to let him do what he wanted was somewhat comical to me, but I wasn’t going to tell him that. “So, big boy,” I wiggled my brows as I lifted my head off the pillow. “What are you going to do now?”
He hissed before leaning down next to my ear and whispering in a deep throaty voice, “I’m gonna fuck you, and when I’m good and ready, I might let you come.” His hips rocked back, and before I could respond, he surged forward. How this man, who had just totally lost it just moments before, could be hard again was baffling.
Ooooooooo
“Just so you know,” I paused, panting, as I glared at him. “You’re going to pay for that.”
“Oh, really.” He sat up and swung his legs over the side of the bed. “I told you,” he grinned. “I’m in charge here.” He rose from the bed, and walked over to his dresser, grabbed a pair of boxers, and slipped them on.
“Just because you’re all sexy, and a guy, and well...” I swallowed as I watched him move around the bedroom. He’d teased me to the point of pain for that last hour, bringing me right to the brink of orgasm and then backing off. I’d stopped counting after ten times of being left on the ledge.
“So I’m sexy, huh?” He tugged on a pair of shorts before turning to face me.
“And a guy,” I flipped my hand in the air as I held the sheet to my chest.
“Well, how could I forget that?” He winked at me all proud of himself. “Baby,” he moved closer and bent forward, placing one hand on each side of my hips where they still sat on the bed. “Don’t challenge me, I don’t lose.”
“Apparently,” I grumbled as I watched him move toward the bedroom door. I glanced at the clock and realized why my stomach kept grumbling, it was past noon. No wonder I was hungry. “Where are you going?” I scowled.
“To get us something to eat. I need a recharge if we’re going to do that all day,” he chuckled as he stepped through the door.
“But what am I supposed to do about clothes?” I yelled. He’d cut my shirt and ripped my panties.
“Thought you said you were going to go naked all weekend,” he yelled back.
I rolled my eyes. Of course, he would remember that. I sighed as I shoved the covers back. Two could play this game. I rose from the bed and finger combed my hair before taking a glance in the mirror at the rest of my appearance. I sucked in a breath when I saw the reasons for my achy body. I had red rings around my wrists from the cuffs, a bite mark on my breast, and bruises on my hips from where he’d gripped me as he plunged deeper than any man had ever gone. My body flushed as it remembered what it felt like, and I smiled as I sauntered out into the living area of the apartment.
Jase was leaning against the counter in the kitchen with his phone to his ear. His voice was low, but when I rounded the counter, he stopped. Several take out menus were placed in front of him, and he slid them toward me. His eyes scanned my body as I smiled at him. ‘Take that,’ I thought as I shrugged, and let my eyes drop to the menus in front of me. “Yeah, thanks for letting me know,” he mumbled into the phone before disconnecting the call.
“Something wrong?” I wrinkled my forehead as he sighed.
“That was my captain. He had something he needed to inform me about,” he growled as he shook his head. “I’ve been taken off the case since I’m involved on a personal level,” he pounded his fist on the counter before hissing, “Fuck!”
“I’m sorry,” I mumbled. I really didn’t know what to say, but I felt like I needed to say something.
“And,” Jase paused before closing his eyes and shaking his head. “Jeremy is out on bail.”
“Who’s that?” I shifted on my feet.
“He’s no one good. You’re staying here until all this is over. Do you understand?” He turned to face me and glared. “I will not worry about losing you. You’re just going to have to trust me and listen about this.”
“Ok,” I nodded. I wanted to trust him, and I wanted this to work. If staying here for a few days helped ease Jase’s worry, I’d do it. “You going to escort me to work too?” I teased as I poked him in the side.
“If I have too, yes.” He nodded as he looked over at me, all teasing gone from his expression.
“Hey, detective.” I nudged him with my hip. “I’m ok, and if staying here is what you want, then I’m ok with it. Just promise that you won’t wreck anymore of my clothes.” I smiled up at him and finally started to see him crack.
“I’ll try, but I’m kinda liking this look you’ve got going.” He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear before reaching for the menus once again. “Pick something so I can order us food. If I look at you standing there all naked much longer, I might forget that I’m hungry.”
“What if that’s what I want?” I tipped my chin up in defiance.
“Tiffany,” he glared. “Food. Pick something. I’ll quench that hunger after we eat.”
“Fine,” I grumbled. “How about a pizza? You pick the toppings since you like being in charge so much.”
“I don’t like being in charge; I am in charge. Pizza it is,” he smirked as he grabbed his phone and dialed the pizza place. I could already tell that by the end of the weekend, I was not going to be able walk. Jase was as hungry for me as I was him, and I didn’t see that being quenched anytime soon.
Chapter 14
Tiffany
A week passed and Jase and I had spent every night together. He’d taken me to work and showed up later in the evening to sit at the bar sipping a drink until I got off. On the nights he was on the clock, he’d have a water, but on the others, the drinks varied. It had been quiet. No one had threatened me, and the case was moving along well from what I knew.
Jase didn’t share much. He kept most of his job a secret from me. I didn’t care at first, but it was beginning to bother me now. He knew everything about me. He knew where my family lived. He knew my history with them, how I ran away as a teenager. He knew little things like what days I worked, where I liked to hang out, shop, eat, things that you discover when you’re dating someone. The only things I knew about him were the things he told me that night in my apartment. Aside from being a cop, all I knew was his family was yanked away from him at sixteen.
I discovered little things throughout the week, like how much he hates pickles. I’ve never seen anything funnier. The way he growled and refused to eat the sandwich I’d made him because it had pickles on it was hilarious. He’d literally spit out the bite he’d taken into a napkin, and shoved the plate away. I’d laughed at him because he looked like a little kid. He’d scowled and made some comment about me doing it on purpose. When I’d told Sam and Dev about it, Dev had thrown his head back in laughter and told us Jase had been that way since he’d known him.
I also learned that Jase’s alter ego, Max, came from an imaginary friend he’d had as a child. He’d picked the name and just changed the last name a few times when he’d used it for work. He wore a size eleven shoe, and he worked out an insane amount of hours to keep his body in the condition it was in. Whenever I pushed him to tell me about work, he would clam up, so I’d drop it, but it hurt that he still kept me at arm’s length.
“So what are you up to tonight?” Lena smiled as she straightened the beer bottles in the cooler behind us.
“Nothing new,” I sighed as I leaned against the bar. We’d been open for a little over an hour, and business was beyond slow. I’d probably served two customers.
“Think the boss will close early since it’s so dead?” she mused as she began cleaning the counters again. It was concert season now that summer was in full swing, and the local park a few blocks away did nightly free concerts. It was a good way from smaller local bands to be heard, and free entertainment was always good.
“I have no idea,” I shrugged just as Sam came out of her office. Her eyes scanned the empty bar and she shook her head.
“We’ve got to find a way to lure people in here,” she grumbled.
“Once it gets hot they won’t want to be outside at the park,” I r
eassured her. “It’s a nice night, not all hot and sticky yet.”
“I hope you’re right,” she stared at the door just a little longer before heading back to her office. “If business doesn’t pick up by nine, we’ll close early,” she called over her shoulder.
At that moment, the bell over the door chimed, and Dev and Jase walked in. “Are we open?” Dev called out as Jase’s eyes widened.
“Um, yeah,” I sighed. “Park concerts do this every year.” I motioned around the empty bar. “People will get bored, they always do.”
Both men seated themselves at the bar and lifted a beer menu as if they’d never been in the place before. I turned around and grabbed Jase’s standard Bud Lite before setting in front of him. “Whoa,” he sighed. “I don’t know if I want that.”
“What?” I wrinkled my nose. “You always drink this.” Dev snickered beside him as he too perused the menu. “You ok?” I continued to stare.
“I might want something different,” he mumbled. “I’m trying new things now, ya see?”
“New things?” I crossed my arms on the bar and leaned over lowering my voice. “What type of new things?”
“You’ll see,” he mumbled absentmindedly as he continued to stare at the menu. I shook my head as I laughed, totally confused at where he was going. “How much money you gotta make to make this night worth coming in for?” he mused before looking up at me.
“Are you really asking me how much I make in a night in here?” I tipped my head to the side. “On a good night, it’s a lot.”
“I have my reasons,” he set the menu on the bar before looking at me once again. “On a good night... how much?”
“If a band is playing and I close,” I paused for effect. “About five hundred give or take,” I grimaced. “That’s a weekend night though, during the week about half that.”
“You make that kinda of money, and you live where you live,” his head jerked back. “Why?”
