It is recommended to be read in this order:

There are some situations which are not for everyone included in this novella: cheating, male/male romance and sex, and like all of Skye’s books, explicit language and hot ass sex.
If you can’t handle it, don’t read it. It’s that simple. But if you want to know more about myself and Erik, then turn the page and get started!
Chapter One
Bradi
Finally! I’m finally on my own. I’m settling into my dorm, waiting on my roommate to get here. God, don’t let this chick be a Goth or a timid little bird. I need a fun roommate! I’m eighteen years old and enrolled at LSU. Laissez le bon temps rouler. Let the good times roll. Parties, boys, and fun. Of course I’ll get some classes in too, since I’m here on scholarship. That’s important, but I really intend to have some fun.
I’ve just unpacked my last box and I throw the final lime pillow on my bed. It bounces off of the zebra comforter. I love the mix of the animal print and the hot pink and lime. It’s loud, but fun, like me.
I hear the knob turn and look up as a beautiful, petite girl with long auburn hair walks in. Her arms are loaded down with a few boxes and then, this gorgeous, muscled, perfect specimen of a man captures my attention. He’s holding a few large boxes and walking in behind her. I’m so busy checking him out—lord, he’s so hot!—I completely forget about her. Until I hear a giggle and she speaks. “Hi, I’m Lexi. Lexi Sloane.”
“Shit, I’m sorry. Is that your boyfriend?” I’m still checking him out, but I look at her as I say it. “I’m Bradi. Bradi St. James.”
She snorts and the gorgeous Adonis in my room starts to laugh. “Erik?” She’s doubled over, holding her stomach as she laughs. “No. No, he’s not my boyfriend.”
My ears perk up and my eyes take him in. I smile the smile that makes men pant. I know it’s wrong, but work what you’ve got, right?! Hell, that’s the only thing the bitch that birthed me ever taught me that was worth a damn. Cocking my hip out and running my tongue over my perfectly straight, white teeth, I wink at him. “Well hello, gorgeous. If you’re not Lexi’s boyfriend, then please tell me you’re her brother. And then, tell me you’re single.”
His cheeks darken and Lexi laughs even louder. I look at her sharply. Her eyes are downright twinkling.
What the hell is funny? She just said he wasn’t her boyfriend. So, what the ever living hell is so funny?! Shit, are they fuck buddies?
Her brow arches and I can see she’s biting the inside of her cheek. Erik uncomfortably shuffles from foot to foot and drops the boxes on the floor. As he straightens, his shirt rises and I catch a glimpse of his rippled abs. Fuck me! That’s at least an eight-pack. My mouth is watering looking at this guy. I must test him out. If they are not together, that is. I don’t do sloppy seconds or infringe on another girl’s territory.
She looks at him and says, “Are you going to tell her or do you want me to?”
He shrugs and if it’s possible, he looks even more uncomfortable.
I’m really pissed now, so I blurt out, “What the fuck?! Tell me what?”
Lexi jumps at my sharp tone and Erik glares at me. Then crossing his arms over his broad chest and making his sleeves strain over his biceps, he stares me down. He growls at me. “I’m not her boyfriend or her brother. I’m her best friend… and I’m gay.”
My mouth drops open in shock and I gasp.
What the hell? I know this guy does not expect me to believe that bullshit. He’s gay?! Yeah, right! And I’m a fucking virgin!
I can’t control my anger. I feel humiliated. Ok, so he’
s not interested, but to say he’s gay?! Hell no! I let out a harsh laugh and he looks from me to my new roommate. Standing tall and glaring at him, though he’s not looking at me, I rage, “You’re gay!? Yeah fucking right. I get it, dude! You’re not interested. That’s fine! Your loss, but don’t insult me by saying you’re gay. Be man enough to fucking say you’re not interested.”
His head swivels around and he cuts me with his crystal blue eyes. Lexi, my new roommate, mutters, “Oh, no,” and quickly sits on the unmade bed.
He’s looking at me like he’s daring me to say something else. “I’m not insulting you.” His gaze rakes me from head to toe and he doesn’t even twitch. “I really am gay. I’m not attracted to girls. At all. You are a gorgeous girl, but I’m not into girls, gorgeous or otherwise,” he says in exasperation.
Looking into his eyes, I see he’s telling the truth. Oh boy! “Well shit.” My back relaxes and I unclench my fists. “That’s a shame. You are gorgeous. Damn! Want to give it a go and see if I can change your mind?” I wink at him.
He smirks and blushes again. Lexi starts choking and he has to hit her on the back to clear her airway. She looks up at me with tears running down her face and I think she’s about to walk out of the room and go demand a new roommate, until she smiles at me. Then she laughs through the coughing. “Oh, hell yes. I like you. I’m so glad I didn’t get a stick-in-the-mud roommate. The three of us are going to be great friends.”
Laughing with her, I sit down on my bed and cross my legs. I check them both out from my lower vantage point. The beautiful, petite redhead and the gorgeous, beefy, so perfect it’s not even acceptable that he likes dick, dude. Oh yes, this is going to be fun.
Chapter Two
Erik
Today is the day. She’s finally here. I can’t believe I talked her into staying in my dorm. I just wish we’d been able to bunk together. But LSU doesn’t allow co-ed roommates in the dorms. Besides, my roommate, Micah, is great. He’s a nice guy and he is even cool with the fact that I’m gay. He just made it very clear he’s not gay and didn’t want to catch me checking out his goods. Once I told him he wasn’t my type and that I preferred blonds, we laughed about it, and have become great friends over the past year.
I check the time on the wall clock in our room and realize Lexi should be here in fifteen minutes. I call out to Micah that I’m heading down to help her unload as I reach the door. He tells me to call his cell if we need help, but otherwise he’s catching a nap since he didn’t get in until three this morning.
Before I can answer him, he’s snoring. Chuckling, I grab my keys, let myself out of the room, and race down the stairs.
I dance on the balls of my feet as I wait for her Mustang to pull up. You’d never know I was at her house helping her pack just last night. Lexi is my best friend. She’s like my sister. I can’t believe we’re going to be attending college together, just like we’ve done everything else together for most of our lives. She only lives twenty minutes from campus, what’s taking her so long?
Finally, I see her silver Mustang pull up and I meet her at the car, opening her door. Laughing, she gets out and kisses my cheek. “Damn Erik, you’d swear it’s been a month since you last saw me and not last night.”
Chuckling, I pick her up and swing her around and she squeals and throws her head back. I squeeze her before setting her on her feet and we just grin at each other. “I’m so glad you’re finally here, love. We always talked about doing this together and now we actually are. Let’s get you moved in.”
She pops her trunk and I start loading up on boxes as she takes some things out of the back-seat. We chat as we head up the stairs.
Suddenly, she bumps me with her shoulder as we get to the front doors. She mutters, “Two o’clock, the hot blond is seriously checking you out, E.”
I swivel my head and see Joe. I smile, but shake my head “no,” as he starts to walk over. He frowns and stops. I can see him sigh.
Lexi catches the silent conversation. She always was an observant little thing. “What’s up, E? Who is that? He can come over. You know I don’t mind.”
Shaking my head, I pull on the door and we enter the dorm. She pulls out her paperwork and we double check the number for her room and floor, which is right below mine, and we head up.
Once on the stairs, I break the silence. “Lex, that was Joe. He’s a casual friend. We hang out sometimes, but he wants a relationship and I just don’t know if I’m ready to be so open about it all yet.”
I feel her stop behind me and then she calls my name to make me stop too. “Erik.” I hear some shuffling and then her small hand is on my back. She forces me to look at her. “Erik Garrett Jenson.” My brows raise at her use of my full name. “I know you are not hiding who you are. Why would you do that? You are you and you are flipping awesome. If anyone has messed with you here, let me know. I will handle that shit right-quick-in-a-hurry.”
I have to laugh at her. She’s so little, but such a spitfire. I love my Lexi. Bumping her and leaning down to kiss her forehead, I wink at her and say, “No one is messing with me and if they did, I can handle myself. Hello, do you know how big I am?!”
She looks me over from head to toe and grins. She zeroes in on my crotch and winks. “No, actually I don’t know. You’ve never shown me.” Then she sticks her tongue out.
Somehow, I manage to speak through my laughter and without dropping my armful. “I could break half of the people on this campus if I needed to.” Still laughing, I lean on the wall, and watch her. “I love you for wanting to protect me though. Now, these boxes are heavy and we need to get the rest of the stuff out of the car, so let’s get a move on, shorty!”
As we pass a few more floors, Lexi and I chat about all that’s been going on lately and we make plans to head to Micah’s fraternity party tonight. She’s hung out with us a lot over the past year. Everyone is friendly on the way up and I see a lot of familiar faces.
Once we reach her door, she scoots around me and checks the knob. It’s unlocked, so she pushes it open. I follow her inside, concentrating on not dropping the boxes. As I look up, my mouth hits the floor. I’m overwhelmed. It looks like a zebra threw up in limes and pinks on the other side of the room and in the center of it is a pin-up model looking at me like she wants to devour me. Ohmygod…
Lexi sees it too and starts giggling. She introduces herself to the blonde bombshell, who is stripping me naked with her eyes. “Hi, I’m Lexi. Lexi Sloane.”
The blonde finally takes her eyes off of me. Thank God.
Then she takes me for another ride, as she asks if I’m Lexi’s boyfriend. What the… After getting out that I’m neither Lexi’s boyfriend nor brother, I decide to tell her the truth. “I’m her best friend and I’m gay.”
Her jaw goes slack and I see her eyes harden. Then she rails at me and basically calls me a liar. Oh, hell no. Who does this chick think she is?!
After assuring her that she is in fact gorgeous, but that I don’t care. She gets it into those blonde strands that I am not lying and am in fact gay, then, she drops another bomb on me by propositioning me.
My God, this chick is too much. She’s wild! But, damned if I don’t like her.
We chat and I tell her about the frat party tonight. She claps excitedly and exclaims, “Hell, yes! This is what I want to experience! I’m so in! So, tell me about this roommate of yours, Erik. Is he as dreamy as you? Does he like dick too?”
I laugh so hard I choke. “I don’t know if he’s dreamy. He’s not my type. The ladies seem to like him and he certainly likes them. He’s a good guy. I think he’d get a kick out of you. I’ll introduce you to Micah tonight.”
She rolls his name off of her tongue. “Micah. I like it. It sounds sexy. Oh yes, I must meet this Micah tonight. But right now, I have to pee and I need to nap. Looking like this,” she gestures to her face and body, “takes work you know, hot stuff. Now, get out! I need to get to know my new roommate!”
<
br /> Laughing, I hug Lexi and tell both girls I’ll pick them up at eight. I head back to the room to see if Micah is awake, so I can prepare him for the vixen that is one Bradi St. James.
Chapter Three
Bradi
Seven years ago
The frat house is packed and there are muscled, gorgeous, preppy guys everywhere. I talked Lexi into a cropped shirt and she looks fabulous in her tight jeans with the top showing a peek of her peaches and cream stomach. Not as gorgeous as me of course, but then again, I’m used to playing up my face and features to get what I want. We’re in the corner of the main room surrounded by guys, but I’m just not that interested.
Erik was at our room at promptly eight o’clock and he had his smoking hot roommate with him. Micah has been looking at me all night. His eyes popped when he first caught a glimpse of me and I’ll admit, he kind of took my breath away, too. As soon as I saw him, I felt like there wasn’t enough air in the room. His wavy, dark hair and those dark brown eyes made my stomach clench and my girl parts get all excited. That’s never happened just from looking at a guy before! It was more than that though. As my eyes traveled his tall, firm body and checked out just how well he filled out his clothes, my heart took to galloping. My heart doesn’t gallop over men. Ever. So, of course I feigned indifference.
I can’t help following him with my eyes though and through the corners, I can see him watching me. He’s near the doorway to the kitchen, talking to two other guys. Both of the guys with him are incredibly good-looking. One is practically undressing me with his eyes, though he’s almost leering, and none of me is reacting to the perusal. I’m too damn distracted by Micah.
Why do you fascinate me so?! You’re not that hot. Ok, yes, maybe you are. But why is my stomach in knots and why the hell can’t I go sixty seconds without glancing at you?! Dammit Bradi, he’s just a hot guy! This room is full to the brim with hot guys. Why is that particular one so fucking interesting?!
