Had Cameron been this big? I kept asking myself that question as I took the girth of Cole’s cock repeatedly. It felt amazing. He’d already made me orgasm once with his fingers, and another one was on the way.
My entire body tensed as I got closer and closer, and soon, the dam broke, my ecstasy overtaking me.
I focused on the pleasure and the fact that any one of his staff could walk in at any moment and catch us in the act. Would I even care? I didn’t think so, and I didn’t think I’d even want him to stop.
I moaned louder as the dirty thoughts filled my mind, and Cole continued to suck my nipples and rub my clit. He lifted his head and met my eyes. “Fuck, you’re so tight and wet.”
Cameron had always told me the same thing, and I considered closing my eyes and pretending this was him. But then I knew better. Cole deserved to be more than just a stand in, a substitute for what my heart truly wanted. Cole was alive and with me, and I was surprisingly okay with the way of things. Much more than I’d thought I’d be since I’d missed my husband every day and never wanted another man. Until I met Cole.
Cole had a way about him that was much more firm and deliberate than I ever remembered Cameron being, and while I missed my husband’s gentle touch, the way Cole handled me was just what I needed.
I milked his cock, and he moaned and then let out a soft growl that had chills running up my spine. Suddenly, he held me tighter. Then he walked over with me in his arms and lowered us to one of the chairs. My legs fell astride his lap, and I began to ride him. His cock buried much deeper inside of me, and his base stretched me even wider.
“That’s much better. You’ll be glad we got this sexual tension out of the way of our friendship.” He gave a soft chuckle, and I kissed his taunting mouth to keep him quiet until another release came over me. I pulled back to pant and moan. “It’s a shame you won’t date me.” He snickered. “You were right. Dating is a bad idea. This is so much better.”
“Why are you teasing me?” I gave him a nudge.
“I’m hoping you’ll slap me again,” he whispered. “It made me so hot. I knew right then that I’d have to have you.”
“You knew all along?” I had too, but I didn’t think I’d want to admit that. At the same time, it felt good to be desired. And I hadn’t even felt desirable in quite some time.
“Didn’t you know?” he whispered breathlessly. “Didn’t you once think it?”
“I did last night when I was looking at your pictures.” I felt my cheeks redden over the admission. If Leslie had not showed up when she did, there was no denying I’d have slipped my hand down into my panties and fantasized about this gorgeous man.
“Ah, and what did you do with the picture? Did you stare dreamily at it while you touched this?” He reached down and pressed on my clit, and the sensation was so good that I felt the ache of another release as it built. The pressure grew so intense that my toes curled as I came.
He smiled and gave me a quick peck. “That’s so good when you milk it, when that tight little slit clenches around me when you come. Tell me what you like, Jessica.”
“I like the feeling of you against me, holding me. The feeling of you inside me.” I pressed my face into the crook of his neck and rose up and down to ride him, working up to a steady bounce that had my breasts jiggling.
When I rose, he met my eyes and looked so deep into them that I felt like he was touching the most sacred parts of me, seeing into my soul. “A woman like you needs to be held, and often. I could be that for you when you want it.”
Would he truly be content to just be lovers, to keep all of the dating and romance at bay and simply be all the passion I needed? And would I be able to keep myself from falling in love?
“I think we’re good together,” he said as he pumped his hips upward. I rode him wildly, and we fell into a rhythm that grew so intense that we both found our release together.
“Fuck,” he said, as his body stilled. “You’re amazing.”
“Likewise.” I felt his cock get slightly smaller inside me, and that was when a bolt of reality shot through me. What had I done?
I got off his lap and put my hand over my heart. He sat there naked, his proud cock refusing to be tamed. He met my eyes as his filled with concern. “Are you okay?” He reached out and held my hand. “I know we said just friends, but I’d like for you to take that position I offered so we can continue to get to know one another better.”
I turned and paced the small cabin. “I’m not sure, Cole. I’m sorry, but I don’t think I should have done this.” I headed to the door and was about to leave when he pulled me to a stop, his hand firmly gripping my arm. I turned to see he had the sincerest look on his face.
“Hey, I don’t want you to regret this. We shared a hot time as friends, and it doesn’t mean that anything has to come of it, although I did think it was pretty amazing.” He pulled me close and righted my skirt, smoothing the back down so that it didn’t look so much like I’d just been fucked by a man who could be my new boss. “I need you to accept the offer, Jessica. I have a website that needs updated photographs, and you could help promote some of my newer products. I’ll pay you a generous salary.”
The word generous was tantalizing. I knew just how generous he could be, but I also knew that these types of relationships never worked. When he was sick of me, what would happen to my new job? “I’m not sure it’s entirely ethical, considering what we just did. You’d be my boss.”
“So, is that a yes?” He gave me a sly grin. “Come on, tell me what I want to hear, Jessica.”
How could I refuse him? Especially when I needed a job. The money I made from the weekend was a lot, but it wasn’t enough to last forever and I had a son to support. If I wanted to have a career in photography, this was my best opportunity. Besides, I was now curiously interested in him in a way I hadn’t been before. If things didn’t work out, at least I’d have that generous salary to hold me over and plenty of money in the bank to make mine and Cam’s lives better.
I took a deep breath and met his gorgeous blue eyes. “Yes, I’ll take the job.”
His smile widened, and he closed the space between us. “That’s a good girl. I think you’re going to love working for me, and I know that I’m going to continue to enjoy having you.”
“So, we’ll do this again?” I was already turned on by the idea, although I was still lost in the feeling of ecstasy that had overtaken me minutes earlier.
He reached out and stroked my hair. “Do you really think we can stop what we’ve started? Do you really want to?”
“No,” I said. “I don’t think we can.”
“I’ll let the others know you’re going to be a part of the team, and I’ll see you here first thing Monday morning with your camera.” With that, he walked me back down the steps and out into the hangar.
“Thank you. I really appreciate the opportunity.” I looked around and hoped that no one had walked in on us. I had to look at these people every day now, and I had a feeling they would hate me for being the boss’s pet. “I’d rather keep this quiet, please. I mean, I don’t want to be the world’s most hated or whispered about around the watercooler.”
“You won’t be,” he said. “We don’t have a watercooler.” He gave a smile, and I nudged him. He took a deep breath and took my hand to lead me up the stairs that led back to his office. “Stop worrying. Everyone is going to love you. They all raved about you after the fair, and they all can’t wait to see what you captured.”
“I hope so.” I couldn’t imagine them not liking me. And I wondered if I’d like them once I started having to see them every day. What if one of the women had a crush on him? Or if he’s got a habit of screwing the new girl? I had to put the thoughts out of my head.
As we walked down the hall to his office, we passed an open door where Tanner Barnhart sat with his feet up on his desk. He was kicked back in his chair and on the phone, and when he looked up and saw me, he gave me a smirk.

; “Are you okay?” asked Cole as we continued past the elevators and to his office door.
“Yes, it’s just a lot to take in. I wasn’t expecting to leave here with twenty-five grand and a new job.”
He put his finger on the door handle, and after it beeped, the lock disengaged and the door swung open. I went in and gathered my things while Cole walked over to his desk and looked at the three prints I made for him.
“These are going to have to go someplace special.”
“I’m glad you liked them,” I said as I grabbed my handbag.
Cole walked over and put his hands on my waist. “I’ll see you Monday bright and early.” He gave me a quick peck and led me to the door.
Chapter 11
Cole
Business was good, and my projects were well under way, which meant a lot of money pouring in and a busy schedule. But most of that was because I was the type of person who couldn’t say no, especially when it came to those who had helped make me a success, and I owed a great deal to my favorite professor at MIT.
So, when Dr. Martin Howard called and asked if I’d come and observe his students’ project presentations and offer inspiration with a few words, how could I refuse?
It was also my pleasure to bring along Tanner, who I felt had nothing better to do early on a Saturday morning.
Tanner sulked from behind the steering wheel. “At least the weather is good for this little early-morning road trip, but I must say, I’d rather be out on the golf course than on my way back to college.”
“It will be over at noon, and you loved college. Think of all the gorgeous girls you’re going to see.”
He huffed. “That’s the only reason I agreed to come, and if I’d known I’d be a glorified chauffer, I’d have tried harder to get out of it. Do you know how unlucky my car is outside of Dr. Howard’s building? It once got keyed three times in the same day.”
I glanced up at him from my notebook. “Your memory is shit. That wasn’t coincidence. It was because you fucked that psycho redhead and never called her again, remember? She stalked you for a month because you ghosted her.”
“Oh, yeah. I did do that.” He gave a shrug. “Well, I still don’t see why I couldn’t have driven your car.”
“Because she’s my pride and joy. It would be like sharing my wife, and quite frankly, the thought of that isn’t half as bad as the thought of you behind the wheel of my baby.”
He gave me a sideward look. “I’ll remember that when you marry a sexy woman.”
I belted a laugh, and he looked at me like I was a madman. “Why are you in such a chipper mood?” he asked. “You’ve been grinning like a snake all morning. You’re only this way when you’ve gotten something you wanted or when you’ve gotten laid.”
I closed my notebook and angled toward him in my seat. “You make it sound like I’m no fun. I’m lots of fun.”
“Yeah, and if that were true, we’d ditch this speech you’re giving and find a golf course.”
I let out a sigh and brushed the back of my neck. “Do you really think I’d skip out on Dr. Howard? He was my favorite professor and one of the most brilliant minds I’ve ever met.”
“I know, I know.” He slowed the car and took a right turn. “I just want to know why you’re so fucking happy. It can’t be the student professor reunion. You see Dr. Howard plenty, but maybe.” He let the word draw out.
“Maybe what?” I rolled my eyes and looked out the window beside me. He talked more than the ladies at the office, and those girls always had something to say.
“Maybe you did get laid. I saw you and that pretty photographer Jessica Hyde coming back from your little walk.”
“So, what? I took her on a tour of our latest project.”
He glanced my way and grinned. “That was an awfully long walk, and you’ve been smiling since, is all I’m saying. Besides, why would she be so important to get a peek into our secret lair?”
“Because I offered her a job.”
“You what?” His eyes narrowed. “Don’t tell me we’re having another expensive blowout. I know you’re enjoying seeing the employees have a good time, but their productivity has slowed down considerably. It seems the praise did good for their morale, but all they’ve done is stand around and talk about the cotton candy vendors and that damned fire eater.”
He did have a point. Apparently boozing the employees up and feeding them fair food only slowed them down. “No, I’ve hired her to work for the company for promotions and social media.”
“That’s not a position we offer.”
“We do now.”
He hit the brakes, and while I thought he might be overacting, I looked up to see the asshole in front of us had stopped suddenly, too. Tanner glared at me and shook his head. “You created a position for her? Paying her twenty times what she was worth wasn’t good enough? You had to offer her a job? She must have slapped you too hard or maybe not hard enough.”
He said a few expletives to the man in the car in front of us and seemed to want to scold me too, but instead, he continued down the road and took a left at the next light.
“What were you thinking?” he asked. “Or were you thinking with your dick?”
“No, I need someone who can help us create a promotional catalog and to spruce up our website and add to a gallery. I’d like to liven up the office too, and I think some of her work might just do that.”
He shook his head. “You so fucked her, didn’t you?”
I bit the inside of my lip to keep from grinning, but apparently, Tanner was used to me doing that sort of thing and called me out on it. “You did, you devil. So, tell me, is she this perfect woman you were looking for?”
“Maybe. I don’t know, but she’s certainly more interesting than most I’ve met. But we’re just friends. She needed a job, and I wanted to help.”
“The only thing you wanted to help was her out of her panties. You know the rest of the employees are not going to like it when they find out that you created a job for your girlfriend.”
“She’s not a girlfriend, and have I ever done anything to jeopardize the company? Have I stopped all of the flirting and in-dating that goes on up there? No, you’ve slept with three women from the office yourself, and that’s never been a problem. I also know that there are others dipping the wick on company time, so don’t lecture me. And if they want to be upset, I’ll set a new rule none of you will like; no fraternizing. How would you all like that?”
“Defensive much? Shit, calm down, man. I just want to know if you fucked her and if it was good.”
“And I don’t think it’s your business. I don’t tell you about every woman I’m with, and I certainly don’t ask you about every one of yours. She’s a nice girl, she needed a job, and I gave it to her.”
“Fine, but when you say you gave it to her, I know what you really mean, my friend.” He gave me a wink and then pulled into the lot outside of Dr. Howard’s building.
I wasn’t going to confirm or deny a damned thing, so I gathered my notebook and got out of the car without another word.
We went inside and were greeted by Dr. Howard, who always had a big grin for me and a firm handshake. “You’re making me feel old, kid,” he said as he looked up at me. “I was thinking of how long it’s been since you were my student, and it’s hard to believe that time flies so quickly.”
As he turned and shook Tanner’s hand, I noticed he was looking his age these day, and I hoped he was taking care of himself. At sixty-five years old, he wasn’t in terrible health, but things could happen fast.
I gave him a pat on the back as we followed him down the hall. “I’ll always be your student, Dr. Howard. And I’ll always remember what you told me the first day I met you, that we never stop learning.”
He gave me a warm smile. “That’s why you’re still my favorite. And I want to thank you both again for coming down and participating in this. The students were all a bit miffed for putting in another Saturday, but I assured th
em that with you guys here, we’d have a good time.”
We continued until we got to the room where the students had all set up their presentations, and while most of them seemed happy enough, there were a few who looked like they had better things to do and a couple that obviously had hangovers.
After Dr. Howard introduced Tanner and me, we watched the students perform their presentations, and each group showed us what they had designed. One had my interest in particular; a solar panel that was no thicker than Mylar and generated twice the energy. A few were impractical ideas, either for funding or lack of research, and since I wasn’t there to criticize, I offered my wisdom for solutions and new directions.
One girl seemed more interested in me than her project, and sure enough, after I’d given my speech, which was more like a pep talk than anything else, and Dr. Howard had said his final thank you and farewells, she came over to see me.
She flipped her long brown hair back behind her shoulder and leaned in close, peering at me over the top of her glasses. “I just wanted to thank you for coming today, Mr. Saunders. I’m a big fan of your work.”
“Thank you, and it was my honor.” I tried not to pay attention to her perfect body or the way her perky tits were perfect beneath the tight top she wore.
She licked her lips and lowered her voice. “I just thought that maybe you’d like to get together some time, have some lunch, and I don’t know, talk or whatever you like.”
I glanced up to see Tanner grin. He looked away as if he weren’t paying attention, but I knew better. He wanted to see what I would do to handle it, and while I could think of a hundred different ways I’d like to fold the little girl into a million positions and fuck her until her glasses fogged up, I wasn’t interested in anyone but Jessica Hyde.
“I’m flattered, really. But I don’t date Dr. Howard’s students. It wouldn’t be healthy to our friendship. I hope you understand.” I didn’t see any reason to be harsh. She was a nice girl who was a little bit too forward for her own good.
