Cole was in awe of her. She was so loving and compassionate and he wanted her with him all the time. He wanted to marry her and have babies with her. He wanted to hold her and make love to her every night, and protect and care for her.
Emily moaned as she broke the kiss and panted for air as he pushed his cock deep into her anus. She was so hot and tight and even though he and Adam had been keeping a slow steady pace, he needed more.
He nodded at his brother when their gazes connected and they started increasing the pace of their thrusting hips. Emily mewled, writhing and wriggling between them and tried to rock her hips in time with their faster thrusts, but he didn’t want to hurt her so he held her hips tighter to keep her still. She moaned again in what sounded like frustration but she didn’t protest and relaxed a little in his hands.
“Oh my God. You feel so good.” Emily cried.
“Em, are you okay?” Adam panted. “Why are you crying? Are we hurting you? Do you want us to stop?”
“No! It’s just so…”
Cole groaned as he shoved back into her ass. “You feel it don’t ya, honey?”
“Yes. So good.”
Adam moaned and then looked at Cole. “I’m not gonna last. She’s too tight.”
Emily started making what sounded like little purring noises and Cole felt her ass muscles undulate along the length of his cock.
“Oh yeah, baby,” Adam gasped. “So close. I can feel your little cunt rippling and sucking on my dick. Come on, Em. Come baby.”
Cole nodded at Adam again and they changed the rhythm of their thrusts and started pounding into her ass and pussy at the same time. Those purring sounds Emily had been making turned into a continuous keening sound of pleasure. Her ass muscles tightened even more, and Adam lifted his head and sucked a nipple into his mouth while he pinched the other.
Emily screamed in ecstasy as she came. Cole grunted each time he shoved his cock up her ass, and the tingling at the base of his spine grew into a conflagration of fire which encompassed his entire pelvic region, including his balls and cock.
Her ass muscles clamped down on him so tightly it was hard to move. But he stroked in and out of her twice more and as he pushed forward the second time, he roared as heat encompassed his balls, drawing them up tight to his body. The fire raced up his dick and then he was shooting his load deep into her body. His release was so intense his vision wavered and he felt lightheaded. His body shook as his cock jerked and his balls emptied out with such force it was almost painful.
A moment later he heard Adam yell and knew his brother had reached his peak, too. Cole slumped down over Emily’s back, but he made sure not to give her all of his weight and crush her. How he did that when he was shaking and felt so weak, he had no clue, but he managed it.
Emily was slumped against Adam with her cheek resting on his chest and her eyes were closed. And even though she was still breathing heavily, she looked so relaxed.
Cole gently eased his softening cock from her body but she didn’t move. “Is she all right?”
“She passed out,” Adam said with a smile. “I love her so much, bro.”
“I do, too.”
“Do you think she’ll agree to marry us?”
“I don’t know,” Cole replied. “I fucking hope so. But I think it’s too early to ask. We need to give her more time to get used to us. To this relationship.”
Cole sighed and headed to the bathroom to clean up. Once he was done, he came back and helped Adam settle Emily after wiping her pussy and ass clean. She never even stirred the whole time and he loved how she could sleep so deeply and peacefully.
Surely that meant that she trusted them, even after having gone through so much.
Yeah, she trusts us. Now how do we go about getting her to love us and accept our offer of marriage?
Chapter Seven
Emily awoke bright and early the next morning and had breakfast ready by the time Cole and Adam entered the kitchen. She was just placing bacon, eggs, and pancakes on the table when Adam stepped up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. She leaned back against him as he kissed and nuzzled her neck, sighing with contentment at being in his arms again.
She’d spent the night sleeping between him and Cole, but she was worried that she could be putting them in danger, but she pushed those fears aside when Adam spoke to her.
“Hey baby. How are you feeling this morning?”
“I’m fine, Adam, sit down and eat before breakfast gets cold.”
Cole came in as she placed the last plate onto the table and he, too, wrapped his arms around her from behind, but instead of kissing and nuzzling her neck like Adam had, he kissed her temple and rubbed his cheek against hers.
“How are you, little girl?”
“I’m fine, Cole.” Cole released her and pulled her chair out for her, and after she took a seat, he and Adam sat on either side of her. Emily picked up a piece of toast and after spreading some strawberry jelly onto it, she ate it and then watched the men eat while she drank her coffee.
Emily was amazed by how much they ate, but they worked hard and she knew they needed to fuel their bodies because of all the physical work they did. She loved watching their muscles rippling under their shirts as they branded cattle or roped them, but what she loved more was seeing them working without their shirts on. They had such tanned skin and brawny bodies. She loved watching them move and sometimes she even got mesmerized by watching beads of sweat run down their backs and chests. She met Cole’s eyes when he stared at her and hoped he couldn’t see she was getting turned on again. But when she realized his stare was firm as if he was angry with her, she knew he hadn’t.
Cole finished chewing what was in his mouth and took a sip of his coffee before he pointed at her empty plate. “Is that all you going to eat, Em? That amount of food wouldn’t keep a bird alive. You need to eat more, honey, otherwise you’ll end up getting sick.”
“I’m just not very hungry this morning. I’ll have a big lunch,” she said hoping to placate him.
“Make sure you do, honey. I have to go into Big Spring this morning to the cattle auction. There are a couple of bulls I want to put a bid on. Did you want anything from town while I am there, honey?”
“No. I’m good, but thanks for asking.”
“I need to head out to the west pasture again today,” Adam said. “There’s more fencing needing to be replaced than I first thought. I’ll probably be there all day, but if you need anything, just ask Chad. He’s working around the corral and can help you out if necessary.”
“Okay. Thanks, Adam,” Emily replied and hoped they didn’t her the despondency in her voice. The situation regarding Chris and Ray was getting her down and she was so scared because she had no idea what to do. She nearly blurted out what had happened but bit her tongue at the last minute. She’d loved Adam and Cole for so long but from afar, but now that they were together, she couldn’t let them get hurt because of her. She was used to hiding things and dealing with things on her own. So she would deal with this, too. She just had to come up with a plan to get the money Chris owed Ray.
How the hell am I supposed to get ahold of ten thousand dollars? Chris took all of my money. I don’t have a penny to my name. Thank God Adam and Cole moved me in to their ranch house otherwise I’d have nothing to eat.
When she realized how quiet it was, she looked up from her now-empty coffee cup and saw that they were both watching her with frowns on their faces. She bent her head again but watched them from beneath her lowered lashes. They gave each other a look and then turned back to watch her again. Emily decided it was time for action and to hopefully get their attention away from her, so she got up and started removing the dishes from the table. After they’d finished their coffee and brought the cups over to the sink, they kissed her on the cheek one after the other and then headed off to work. Emily sighed with relief and after finishing up with the kitchen chores and putting the dishwasher on she headed out to the stables, her mi
nd once again in turmoil as she walked.
The only option she could think about to keep the loves of her life from getting hurt was to leave. Pain pierced her heart but she straightened her shoulders with resolve. It would be selfish of her to stay and have them end up being killed. She was going to have to talk Chad into helping her.
As she walked by the corral, she saw Chad watching one of the other hands putting a young stallion through his paces and changed direction toward him.
No time like the present.
“Hi, Emily, how are you?” Chad asked in his slow Texas drawl.
“Fine thanks, Chad. How about you?”
“Yeah I’m good.”
“Chad, I was hoping I could have a word to you about something? I need a bit of help actually,” Emily said quietly.
“Sure, Emily. What can I do for you?”
Emily glanced toward the ranch hand and Chad must have seen the direction of her gaze. “Rob’s too far away to hear and there’s no else around.”
Emily looked around just to be on the safe side. Not seeing anyone either, she lowered her eyes to her feet and started talking. “I need to leave, Chad. I want your help to get off the ranch. I haven’t got any money. Chris used to take all my wages. I don’t have a car or a license, but I just need to get away for a while.”
Chad placed a finger under her chin and brought her face back up to his. “Are you sure that’s what you want, Emily? You seemed a bit more content since your brother left and are with the bosses. I’ll help you if that’s what you want, darlin’, but be damn sure you’re making the right decision.”
“It’s what I need to do, Chad. Please, I can’t stay here. Will you help me?”
“Emily—”
She held her hand up palm out before he could continue. She could see all the questions in his gaze but she didn’t want to tell him any of it. “Please?” She whispered and hoped he didn’t see the moisture in her eyes.
Chad sighed and scrubbed a hand over his face before saying, “I have to go into Big Spring tomorrow morning. I’ll be leaving about five. If you want a lift, meet me at the stables then.”
“Thank you. I appreciate it.”
“No problem, sugar. Well, I’d better get back to it. See ya later.”
Emily nodded and started toward the stables again, glancing around as the hair on her nape and arms stood on end. She shivered with fear as she felt eyes watching her, but when she looked about she couldn’t see anyone and put it down to her overactive imagination and the situation she found herself in.

Chad waited until Emily went into the barn before pulling his cell phone out of his pocket. He hadn’t liked the fear and resignation he had seen in her eyes. Even though he was disappointed about not being able to date her years before, he was glad Cole and Adam had stepped in. He’d watched Emily grow into a stunningly beautiful woman and he’d seen how she looked at his bosses with love in her eyes.
He had also seen them looking at her with the same longing but they were good men and had waited for Emily to grow up and mature before making a move on her.
Chad was worried sick about her and didn’t want anything to happen to Emily. She’d been through enough, putting up with her brother beating on her. He’d been so damn angry when Adam had told him to watch out for her asshole brother and explained what had been going on. So he’d kept an eye on her and also the other ranch hands. If he caught any of them looking at her other than they would a sister, he got into their faces and warned them off. There had only been two hands he caught drooling over her body as she did her chores around the place, but after having words with them they never looked at her that way again. At least he didn’t think they had.
As far as he was concerned, Emily belonged to Cole and Adam and she to them.
Her brother Chris was a fucking coward. He beat on his sister, someone he was supposed to love and protect.
Chad pushed the programmed number on his phone and waited for Cole to answer.

Emily finished her morning chores in the stables, then went on her customary ride with Bess to the stream. Sitting in her usual place on the large flat rock, she cried her eyes out at the thought of leaving the two men she seemed to have loved forever. She didn’t know how she was going to survive without seeing them every day. They were the highlight in her bleak existence and now that she knew what it was like to be touched by them, loved by them, she didn’t know how she was going to endure getting through each day without seeing them anymore. But she had survived abuse from her brother, so she could survive this, too. She had no idea where she was going to go, but she could get a job working on another ranch or maybe she could do some waitressing.
She hiccupped as her tears slowed and then she bent down to the stream and cupped water in her hands and sluiced it over her tear-sticky face. Just as she was about to get to her feet, she heard a noise behind her and turned her head. Pain exploded on the side of her head, face, and temple, and she fell to her side before darkness overtook her.

Emily woke with her head pounding so bad she felt sick to her stomach. She moaned and tried to pry her heavy eyelids up and blinked a few times to clear her vision, but it didn’t help. Wherever she was was really dark and she was so cold her bones were aching and she was shivering. She tried to remember where she was and what she’d been doing but her head was aching too much for her to think coherently. She moved to sit up and cried out when pain exploded in her head and she lay still for a few moments, breathing deeply and evenly, trying to quell the nausea roiling in her stomach. When she tried to lift her hands to her head, she felt rope tied tightly around her wrists, her arms secured behind her back, and became really scared. When she rolled a little more from her side to her stomach, she froze when she realized her ankles were tied together with more rope. She whimpered and shifted back to her side and tried to control the panic rising up in her.
Her heart beat faster, which did nothing for the pain in her head, and even though she was freezing cold she was sweating.
As she slowly calmed a little and looked around again, she was pleased to see that her eyes were adjusting to the lack of light and made out shadows and dips around her. It took her a few moments for her to comprehend that she was in a cave.
Who would do this to me? Why?
Ray! Was he behind this?
She remembered feeling as if she were being watched after she had asked Chad for help. Could Ray have been nearby and heard her? No. She’d looked around and hadn’t seen anyone. But what if he had been hiding and heard everything?
Shit. I’m in so much trouble.
If it were Ray, what was he going to do to her? Would he take his anger at Chris out on her body like he threatened?
Oh God. No. Please, somebody help me?
Breathing deeply, she again tried to calm her racing heart and heavy breathing. As she got control of her panic, her pounding brain started to kick in. Emily used her tied arms and hands to push into a sitting position and then she wriggled her butt until her back was leaning against the cold, damp cave wall.
The cave was so deep she couldn’t even tell if it was day or night. She had a feeling it was still daytime, late afternoon maybe, but she wasn’t sure. It was just a feeling she had. What the hell was she going to do? She had to get away before Ray came back, but how could she when she was tied up so securely?
She started to panic again when she thought about Ray raping her. Would he kill her after he’d taken her? Would he then kill Cole and Adam?
She couldn’t let that happen, but how was she going to stop it?
She took great gulping breaths trying to get her anxiety under control again.
Think, Emily, you’re not a helpless damsel. Come on think, damn it! Come up with a plan. Something. Emily tried to relax her mind and her breathing slowed as she tried to figure out what to do, but she was as helpless as one of the victims she’d read about in that romance n
ovel.
She felt around the ground near her using her hands and fingertips to feel in the dirt. If she could find a sharp-edged rock, she might be able to use it to cut through the rope binding her hands behind her back. Searching blindly using touch, she inched her way along the cave wall until she was exhausted. If felt like she had been in the cave for hours, which she may very well have been. Her head was throbbing so much she felt sick, and she was so thirsty it felt like her tongue was glued to the roof of her mouth. Slumping back against the wall, she tipped her head back until it, too, was resting on the cold stone.

Cole glanced at his phone and saw that Chad had called him ten times. He cursed under his breath and wondered what was going on. His foreman didn’t usually call unless something was up. He hadn’t heard it over the noise of men, cattle, and the auctioneer.
“Chad, what’s up?”
“I’ve just had an interesting conversation with your woman. She wants me to help her leave the ranch.”
“She what?” Cole yelled as an ache formed over his heart and his gut knotted. But when he spoke again his voice was a lot quieter. “Tell me everything.”
Cole listened to Chad as he gave him the details of his conversation with Emily.
“Okay, thanks for the heads up, Chad. Soon as I’m finished up here, which should be in about half an hour, I’ll be heading back. I want you to contact Adam for me and get him back to the ranch as soon as possible. We need to keep an eye on her. She’s not been her usual self since last night. Something’s spooked her. Keep an eye on her until I get home.” Cole disconnected the call and all but snatched the paperwork for the cattle he’d bought from the auctioneer’s assistant’s hand, and, after perusing it, quickly signed on the bottom. He wrote out a check and arranged for the delivery of the cattle for two days hence and then hurried to his truck. His gut was giving him fits and he had a very bad feeling that Emily was in danger. He needed to get home and fast. He wanted to make sure she was all right and hold her in his arms.
