Cake Love: All Things Payne Page 8

by Elizabeth Lynx

When Edgar told me about that online dating thing a month ago I thought I hit the jackpot. I can just focus my attention on another woman. Someone I can keep at a safe distance but enjoy conversations with, perhaps at some point meet and let Captain Cock run wild. When I discovered Sweetcakes I thought she was too good to be true. I was afraid if we exchanged pictures she would be a five hundred pound shut-in who had a sex change that didn't quite take. My mind can wander sometimes. Also, I didn't want anyone to recognize me. There are some shady characters out there more than willing to take advantage of a rich and successful person.

When she suggested exchanging pictures and names I knew it was time to rip the bandage off. Sure I gave her a somewhat false name; hey Ric is only a shortened version of my name. But in case she did turn out to be a man dressed as a woman, I didn't want her to ever find me. Do you know how many Henrik's are in the city of Chicago? Very few.

I couldn't be mad at Morgana for doing the same thing I had done. Perhaps she thought as I did. Morgana is just as rare of a name as Henrik.

So, now I sit here curling my fingers into my palm which is causing some pain only to prevent them from reaching out to her. After getting to really know her online and spending all that time in the office together it's made me realize something, I love her.

Ugh, I hate it when this happens. Not that it has happened a lot. Just when it does the women use me like an old dish towel. They either cheat on me or treat me like crap but expect me jump through hoops for them, or like my mom, laugh when I tell her I love her. I'm not ashamed to admit I am a little afraid of my feelings right now. Things have been great the past five years because I have had no romantic entanglements. The moment my heart and dick glanced at Morgana my life turned into utter chaos.

This can't happen. Our relationship creates too much of a risk. I'm flip flopping. I never flip flop. One minute I want her and believe I'm not complete until I can feel her feathery skin, the next I panic and think about all that might be lost if we pursued this.

Morgana’s snoring has grown louder. God she sounds like a fifty year old man. I turn my gaze to her just as her head rolls onto my shoulder and her glasses fall to her lap. She presses into my arm and starts to curl up on me.

I freeze. Do I shake her off or just...oh God she smells so good. My nose dips to her hair and I inhale.

"Did you just sniff Drake, Payne?"

I turn my head to see Evaleen standing right next to my seat. Her arms are folded in front of her button up white blouse, hiding her perky but average sized breasts.

"No. I...uh...why aren't you in your seat? We are on a plane you know, flying over the Atlantic Ocean."

I try to change the subject but I know Evaleen is too smart for that.

"The fasten seatbelt sign is off, and we have been in the air for six out of the eight hours of our flight Payne, I'm not going to sit in my chair the entire time."

She leans down to whisper in my ear, "I am only telling you this once, and it's because my friend here likes you, but screw with her and I will make your life at Mimir a living hell."

She stands straight again and places her hands on her hips. I love Morgana but I detest that she is friends with Evaleen. Really not liking that at all.

"Why are you here anyway, Bechmann? Why is the HR Manager needed for a meeting in London?"

My lids lower in scrutiny. Hers go wide, like nervous-big and she glances over at Edgar and then back at me.

"Never mind about that. It's...uh...it's something that doesn't concern you. I've got to get back to my seat."

She scurries off and I wonder what the hell is going on. Eveleen is many things, focused, determined, annoying, but she is never odd. That was odd.

Morgana wakes just in time for the food. It's like that woman has radar when food is concerned. I mean, how am I going to compete with baked goods?

"How long was I out?" Morgana stretches and I notice how amazing her rack looks in her green sweater as she arches her back.

"Huh?" My eyes are still planted on her cleavage. She snaps her fingers in my face and I look up to see her pointing to her eyes.

"Up here Henrik. I asked how long have I been asleep?"

"I don't know, a few hours maybe." I pick up the cutlery and dig into the surprisingly tender steak on my plate. Taking a bite, I didn’t realize how hungry I was until the savory flavor hits my tongue.

I can hear Morgana moaning and turn my head to watch as she practically orgasms eating her meal.

"My God, this is so good. Who knew airline food could actually be flavorful. Oh. My. God. There is chocolate cake for dessert. I am flying in the clouds so this must be Heaven." She laughs at her own cheesy words.

  "You are a goof."

"Whatever Hi! At least I'm not a horn dog who can't wait to get home to masturbate about my super fine secretary."

"You caught me once doing that!"

She finishes chewing her food and points her fork at me.

"So I could have caught you more than once doing it? Well, well, well Mr. Payne. Someone's big dicky likes to get sticky. Eww. That even made me want to hurl."

The woman can always make me laugh. God she is so cute and sexy, and I want to do her right now on top of this juicy piece of meat that is surrounded by roasted red potatoes. But instead I focus on the food and try to keep eating and forget that the coolest, funniest, sexiest, smartest woman I have ever known is sitting right beside me.

"I'm sorry that I made you leave on Sunday and treated you like that," I mumble into my food. I'll admit I am not used to saying sorry. In fact, I have said sorry to Morgana more than I have said sorry to anyone else in the past ten years. Something about her drives my brain onto the I-seventy-stupid highway where the only exit is Crazytown. Thankfully I haven't taken that exit yet.

"Yeah, that was kind of douchey what you did. I just figured you have lady issues. Not that you are menstruating, but that you haven't had a lot of luck with women, so you assume I'm going to be the same way." She shrugs and then shoves a heaping spoonful of the potatoes into her mouth.

"You’re right, but the problems go a lot deeper than a crazy ex, Ms. Freud. Can we talk about it later when we have some time in the hotel room?"

I glance over at her and notice her mouth is full of cake. Reaching over I wipe away the crumbs from the corners of her mouth with my thumb and suck on the sweet icing.

Her eyes darken from a golden green to a deep olive as she watches my lips. Morgana does something that is every man's biggest fantasy. She leans in and whispers in my ear, "Do you want to join the mile high club?"

Yes. Double yes. If there is any word that means more than yes I would be using it right now. Oh God Almighty that is in Heaven, thank you for creating this woman.

My eyes grow large and I spit out my food and push the tray away.

"Take off your panties and give them to me. Then head into the bathroom. I will follow in a few moments as to not draw suspicion...wait, I thought you hated me?"

She is covering her mouth with her hand and trying to suppress her laugh.

"First off, you have obviously been planning this out ahead of time."

"Since I was fifteen years old," I reply, though I don't think it was a question.

"Secondly, I'm horny, and it's really hard to hate you when you look so cute trying not to grope me. And before you deny wanting to feel me up, your eyes have barely looked away from my chest the entire trip. Oh, and I heard you sniffing my hair."

"I have no idea what you are talking about Ms. Drake, but I will try to alleviate your frustration as best I can."

She pushes the tray aside, shimmies out of her underwear and hands them to me. I get up to let her through placing the lace in my pants pocket. As I watch her ass bounce in the tan swing skirt she is wearing I wonder how long is enough time to pass to not make it suspicious that I am following her.

Sitting down I glance at my watch and time thirty seconds. Wow, I never realized how long thirty s
econds could be. I look down and see her glasses on the floor. I pick them up and debate on if I should bring them into the bathroom with me so we can play sexy librarian. I decide against it and set her glasses back onto her tray that is now pushed by the window.

I get up and head to the front of the plane and open the door to the lavatory. Thankfully this is a first class bathroom so it's a bit more spacious as Morgana and I seem to fit comfortably inside. She leans back on the metal counter as I pin her in place with my hands on either side.

"So, have you ever done this on a plane before Henrik?"

I shake my head and watch as a smile tickles her lips.

"Oh so this is virgin territory for you. The great Mr. Payne is unfamiliar with sex in an airplane bathroom. I guess I should feel flattered."

"What about you Morgana? Are you a member of the mile high club?"

The tip of my finger draws a line from her ear down to her chest watching her body tremble from my touch. Her scent is stronger now, less floral, more her. It is drawing me closer as I begin to nuzzle her neck licking and nipping my way up to her ear.

  "Maybe."

This information causes me to halt my actions. I lift my head and gaze at her. I don't like that someone else has done something with her that I haven't. Perhaps it is a bit irrational, but you see what she does to me. I’m like a mad man around her. I grit my teeth, “Yes or no Morgana.”

She sighs, slumping her shoulders. “Fine. No, I haven’t done it alright. I just wanted to tease you a little. Maybe ruffle your feathers a bit. You’re no fun.”

She lightly swipes at my shoulder and pouts. Then her hands start to move down my black sweater toward the hem.

"You ruffle my feathers plenty outside the bedroom, no need to bring it in here."

I nudge back into her neck, breathing her in as my hands make work of lifting and wrapping her legs around me as she tries unsuccessfully to lift my sweater.

  "This isn't a bedroom, Henrik."

Her mouth. Such a little smartass. Grrr. Is it odd I am so turned on by it?

Reaching between us with some difficulty I manage to undo my pants and push them down enough to release my cock. After I adjust us I position my plump head at her soaked entrance. It's warm and feels like silk along my shaft.

  "Condom," Morgana pants.

"Fuck." I place her down and bend to dig in the pocket of my gray dress pants that are now pooled on the floor.

Suddenly there is a knock at the door. Oh shit!

"Occupied," Morgana yells as she panics, her eyes wide with fear.

"Miss, this is the stewardess. We are starting to prepare our descent so you need to return to your seat as soon as possible."

We both let out a huge sigh and then look at each other and laugh.

"Well, I guess we will remain mile high club virgins for a while longer Henrik."

She pats me on the back as I get dressed like she's my team mate and we just finished a game.

  "Definitely on the return flight."

She nods and holds up her hand as she opens up the door. Looking out and then back at me she waves me forward.

"The coast is clear. The stewardess isn't here and from what I can see in the aisle most everyone is asleep."

We creep out and ease back into our chairs hoping no one noticed. That's when our giggle fit starts.

  Chapter 10

Payne's Rule Four: Don’t drink, it weakens people’s resolve

I’m drunk. Wait… wait… I’m not drunk per se, but I have been drinking a lot. Yeah, I’m drunk.

I hold the scotch up to the light and look through the deep amber colored liquid trying to see Morgana. She appears brown. Even her hair has a dark mahogany tinge to it. Her lips are almost black.

I close one eye...nope still brown. Perhaps if I stop peering through the glass it might help with the color scheme.

"So Morgana, Edgar here tells me you are new to the company?" Garrett Marson, the head of our British distribution center, scoots his chair closer to her while eyeing her cleavage.

Would I be fired if I threw this tumbler at him? What about just a punch to the junk? This English Lothario with his 1980's Don Johnson 5 o'clock shadow needs to watch where he casts his eyes or I might just have to recreate the Revolutionary War up in here.

What is worse than having to listen to his drivel about streamlining production and increased worker something, something, something...who cares? Watching Morgana act as if this British rapscallion (that’s right, I went old school with my insult) is Prince William is so much worse. She is practically spreading her legs for him right now. It really is embarrassing for her to do that at dinner in such a fancy restaurant.

"Yup. Worked here for almost four months, well if you don't count the one month in February where I was working at a bank." Morgana glances at me. What? Oh now she wants to rub that in my face, that I got her fired from Mimir so she had to take a job with the bank. Then got her fired from that, both of which involved my dick in her crotch. She wants to get it all out in the open while she is over there on the other side of the table probably fucking him with her foot.

"Let's whip it all out in the open shall we. Let's all look at Mr. Payne and his crazy cock. It’s Captain Cock to you!" I point at Garrett who seems surprised by my actions. In fact as I glance around the table everyone is wide eyed and staring at me. What? Oh, like they don't name their privates.

I stand abruptly or at least try to, knocking the chair to the ground. Whoa, this room is a little tilty.

"I don't have to stand here and take this. I'm heading back to the hotel."

I stumble away and suddenly feel a strong arm wrapping around my waist. Looking over I see Edgar's smiling face. Oh Edgar you have always been there for me.

"You really do care don't you Edgar. I love you man. I really do." I squeeze him tight pushing our cheeks together.

"Okay Henrik. I am going to put you in a cab and Morgana is going to make sure you get into your room."

I turn my head to see her with our coats walking beside me. I lean in to whisper in Edgar’s ear, “I love her Edgar. She’s the best!” Okay, so that last part might not have been a whisper like I intended.

He rubs his ear as we walk through the front door to the street. There is a door man who runs out to hail a cab.

"Sure you do Henrik. She's a great assistant."

I shake my head. He doesn't get it. Nobody gets it. Before I can explain what I mean he is helping me into the back seat of a black cab. The door opens wrong and I laugh. Cars are so weird here.

Once I am buckled in, which Morgana makes sure of, the taxi takes off. My head flops in her direction.

"You like him don't you." I try to sound aloof but my voice is a little too high pitched for that.

"Whom are you talking about?" She scrunches her brow and it's so cute. She is adorable and unbelievably sexy in the little black dress she is wearing. It's so small it's wrong, but I like wrong.

  "Snooty Mr. Marson that's whommmm!”

She laughs and throws her head back. My heart melts a little with the sound.

"Oh Henrik you are drunk. I have no interest in Mr. Marson other than to learn about the distribution center. You seemed to be too busy downing scotch to notice that our entire conversation revolved around the company."

  "I'm not drunk. I don't drink."

Now she is snorting and puts her hand on my knee. The warmth travels up my leg and starts to wake Captain Cock.

"Henrik for a man who doesn't drink you seem to have done it enough times around me."

"Yeah, well...you seem to bring out the worst in me."

I regret the words as soon as they exit my mouth. The look of anger and, even worse, disappointment on her face sober me up a bit.

"I didn't mean that. I...I..." She cuts me off with a wave of her hand.

"Spare me Henrik. I may bring out the worst in you, but at least I don't use you and toss you aside any chance I get. I try my best to treat peopl
e with respect, something you don't seem to be familiar with."

She adjusts her body to look out the window and watch the lights of the city race by.

The remainder of the car ride is silent. I run my hands through my hair a lot, and I think I might have chipped a tooth from clenching my jaw so much. Once we get to the hotel she walks off. I take the elevator alone to my room and am surprised when I see her outside my door waiting.

"Changed your mind about me have you? So you want to get on your hands and knees and earn my respect?" Again, I want to take back the sentence just as it escapes my lips. For some reason that sounded much better in my head.

Morgana rolls her eyes and groans.

"Just open the fucking door. Despite my better judgment I want to make sure you don't throw up in your sleep and kill yourself. But keep pushing it Henrik and I will be more than happy to sleep in my own bed leaving you only with luck to keep you alive."

I fumble with the plastic key and push open the door. She barges past me and heads straight for the mini bar. I walk into the bedroom which looks as if Jane Austen threw up cream wainscoting and then shit little flower patterned pillows all over the room. Peeling off my clothes I leave a trail on the thick blue and gold wool carpeting until I am just in my black boxer briefs. Suddenly there is a sharp coldness hitting my back causing me to jump.

"Here drink these." Morgana pushes a water bottle and a coconut water into my hands.

"Ugh, coconut water. Are you trying to make me hurl?"

Her eyes are trailing my body which is causing my cock to come to life. I love it when she looks at me like that, as if I'm her cake.

"Just drink it. Trust me it will keep the hangover away."

I take the bottles and start to guzzle the water but keep my eyes on her. Morgana walks over to an overstuffed large floral patterned chair in the corner and sits. Tossing the now empty plastic water bottle away with a burp I peel off the tab to the coconut water and place it on the side table.
