“Damn! I created a fucking monster. What the fuck was that?” He asked her as he
lifted her off of her knees and sat her on his office desk. Spreading her legs apart, he reached under her skirt, pushed her underwear to the side and inserted his finger in her wetness. “Huh, babe, where did that come from? I thought I told you I didn’t feel right cumming in your mouth?” Andre asked.
Arianna arched her back as his fingers worked her opening. She gazed at him with lust filled eyes. “And I thought I told you no more holding back. I want to please my man the same way he pleases me. You got that?” Arianna whispered. Placing both hands flat down on the oak wood desk, she spread her legs further apart as he rubbed and playfully pinched her clitoris. “Ooohhh…” she moaned and licked her lips.
Andre reached over and licked her ear lobe as he whispered in her ear. “Shit, fuck it. Yeah, I got that shit. You want to be a freak for your husband? You want to be a bad girl? Then a freak you gonna fucking be. Once he removed his finger from her wetness, he pulled her to the edge of the desk and gently pushed her down on the desk as she layed flat on her back. Pushing up her skirt, he bought his face in between her legs and licked her clitoris in a circular motion with his tongue. Arianna moaned louder as her juices gushed out. Andre licked every drop of her juices and without warning, Arianna felt her underwear being pulled from underneath her. Rubbing her clitoris one last time, he stroked his hardened manhood and swiftly placed it in her wetness causing her to gasp. He placed both hands in the crook of knees, pulling her closer to the edge of the desk and went to work. With each pump and each thrust he spoke to her.
“This my pussy, right?” he asked her lustfully. Arianna was unable to speak so she simply nodded her head but Andre wasn’t accepting that. “Uuh uuh. I wanna hear you say it. Now, I’m a ask you one more time. This my pussy, right?”
Arianna arched her back as he pumped in and out of her with extreme force. “Ooohh yessss. It’s all yours baby! It’s always going to be yours, baby!” Arianna cried out.
Satisfied with her answer, he joined her legs together, placed them over his shoulder, squeezed her ass and gave it to her like it was his last time.
“Oooh... shiiit… Dre! Damn baby. I’m cuuuuuuuuming! Arianna groaned loudly.
“Ssshh… Babe, someone’s gonna hear you. Fucuuck, girl, I’m coming with you,” he whispered as he released long and hard inside of her.
As they were catching their breath shortly after, Andre’s office phone began to buzz. He helped Arianna on her feet as he reached over on the desk and pressed the talk button.
“Yeah, Ava”.
“Uuuuhm Dre, Your client Ian Waters is here. Do you want me to send him to the conference room or Ari’s office?” Ava asked though the speakerphone.
“Send him to the conference room. Let him know we will be right there. Call Malachi in his office and let him know the client is here.” Andre instructed as he slightly pulled his pants up and made his way to his office bathroom. Arianna picked up her underwear and followed his lead.
“Oh, and a word of advice, freak one and freak two; if you are going to get your freak on in the workplace, you might want to quiet it down next time. My goodness. You guys are just nasty.”
“Ava, shut the hell up! Now just do what I asked you to do,” Andre yelled as he grinned at Arianna.
“No Dre, you shut the hell up! And when is Stacey coming back? I had enough of this secretary shit. I have a life too, you know.” Ava whined.
Andre shook his head as he headed to the bathroom. “And stop cursing while at the front desk!” He yelled as he entered the bathroom.
Arianna laughed. Andre and Ava were constantly going at it. At ten years apart, sometimes Andre behaved as if he was her father instead of her brother. It came naturally since he raised her after their father passed away.
“Ava, we will be out in a minute, okay?” Arianna reminded her.
“Okay, sis.” Ava replied.
“Uuhm, Ava, out of curiosity, no one else heard us, right?” Arianna asked.
Ava laughed. “Well, I was on my way from the ladies room when I saw Malachi coming down the hallway. He was on his way to his office. He stopped to hug me, which happened to be right out side of Dre’s office, and that’s when we heard the two of you. Like ilk, ilk, ilk. I almost gagged.”
“Goodbye, Ava!” Arianna laughed as she pressed the end button on the speaker phone. She then made her way to the bathroom so she could freshen up. As she entered the bathroom, Andre came out looking refreshed himself.
“Babe, I left a warm rag for you and you might want to go to your office and change those panties because I know you soaking wet.” Andre said with a grin.
“Yes, it’s a good thing I keep extras in my office, sexing here is getting to be a habit.” Arianna laughed as Andre grabbed her waist.
“Ehh, you started it this time with your freaky ass. I done created a monster.” Andre laughed. Oh, don’t forget to brush your teeth so I can kiss you again,” Andre laughed again as Arianna mushed his head.
“I’ll see you in a few minutes,” Arianna stuck her tongue out and closed the bathroom door in his face.
________
Arianna checked herself one more time in her bathroom mirror. After cleaning herself up, brushing her teeth and combing her doobie wrap back in place, she looked and felt like a million bucks. Walking to her office door, she opened it and made her exit. As she made her way to the conference room she heard foot steps behind her which caused her to stop and turned.
“Good morning,” Malachi greeted her with a look in his eyes Arianna couldn’t quite read.
“Oh, hey. I mean good morning.” Arianna smiled. “I thought you were probably in the conference room by now. I told Dre I was only going to be a few minutes but I took a little bit longer. Shoot, more like thirty minutes. He’s going to kill me.” Arianna said as she laughed.
Malachi smiled, but it was more like a devilish smile. “Well, from the sounds coming from his office earlier, sounds like he may have killed you already. I almost called nine one one and shit.” Malachi said in sarcastic tone. He gazed at her slowly as he fidgeted with his shirt tie.
Arianna returned his gaze while at a loss for words. Once she regained her composure, she cleared her throat. “Uuhm, Dre and Mr. Waters are waiting.” Arianna managed to say.
Malachi nodded his head and then slowly moved closer to her.
“My brother is truly a lucky man…” he whispered in her ear. Eyeing her once more, he turned and walked towards the conference room.
Chapter Thirteen
Candace’s Gravesite
Linden, New Jersey
Desmond leaned down and placed two dozen white roses in front of Candace’s tombstone. Throughout the past twenty two years, he had visit her gravesite faithfully on her birthday and on Christmas. Christmas was Candace’s favorite holiday. Desmond smiled as he remembered how Candace would light up like a Christmas tree whenever she opened her gifts. She was a big kid at heart. She loved to give gifts as well as receive them. Desmond touched the tomb stone as he gathered his thoughts.
“I know today is not your birthday nor is it Christmas,” Desmond chuckled. “I came here because I read Ari’s letter. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a man or maybe when you haven’t experience what someone experience, it’s hard to understand certain things, but I still don’t fully understand why you and Ari couldn’t tell anyone what was happening to you. But I respect it. Your feelings were your feelings. You didn’t have to be afraid of that fool doing anything to me or Mal for that matter. You could have still came to me or us. Also, in the letter, Ari mentioned how it tore you up that your virginity was taken from you and how you were saving it for me.” Desmond smiled as he lowered his head, preventing the tears from falling. Clearing his throat he continued. “For years I felt as if I failed you. I felt as if I didn’t protect you enough. But I’m ready to let all those negative feelings go and finally find peace with myse
lf. Also, I hope you’re proud of the work Ari has done with your foundation and help center. She helped thousands of young girls just like you and her who are afraid like you were afraid. I hope you’re proud and may you continue to rest in peace.” Desmond cleared his throat once more as one last thought came to him. “The letter also stated that you were attacked the day of my draft picking ceremony. That’s the day you changed. Mama Ro, Aunt Patrice and even Uncle Romero were convinced you were just experiencing teenage mood swings but I should of known better. I should have tried harder to find out the truth, maybe we could of gotten you the help you needed. Shit is crazy, man. For years I felt if we knew sooner what was going on, a lot of things wouldn’t of even take place. You would probably still be here, we would of discovered Arianna’s secret sooner, she would of never tried to hurt herself and Mal would of never went away.” Desmond chuckled to himself. “Then again, Andre probably would still be crazy. Ari changed him a lot. I know I tell you that every time I come here. I guess they always say things happens for a reason. For years I would curse anyone out who said that to me. I didn’t want to believe for a second there’s a reason for what happened to you. But now I get it. I finally get it.” Desmond smiled and sighed. “Well, I think I revealed everything from my heart. Every time I come to talk to you I get all soft and shit. Time to transform.” Desmond said with a chuckled. He sighed as he said all that he wanted to say. Glancing at the grave site once more, he steadily walked to his truck. Once inside, he closed his eyes as he thought about the girl that still had a hold on his heart.
1987
On Candace’s fifteenth birthday Desmond could no longer suppress his feelings and decided to confess them to her. Candace was entering her building at Grover Manor when Desmond noticed her while he sat on the front porch of Andre’s house. It was now or never he thought to him self. Feeling brave, he stood up and made his way across the street, however when he entered the building, Candace was pinned to the wall by Arianna’s older cousin Frantz Du bois. The fear in her eyes set Desmond over the edge. Pulling out his 380 automatic from under his shirt, he cocked it and placed it on the right side of his dome.
“Nigga, it looks like you are more stupid than you look.” Desmond said through clenched teeth. “Get your hands off her and back the fuck up” Desmond continued in a low tone. It was taking everything in him to remain calm but his trigger finger was itching.
Frantz’s removed his hands slowly from around Candace’s neck causing her to immediately slide to the floor in a hysterical fit. Once Frantz backed away from her, Desmond removed the gun from where it was positioned and struck him on the side of his face, knocking him out cold. Desmond stepped over him, tucked the gun under his shirt and kneeled down to Candace, pulling her in a warm hug. He held her in his arms as she continued to cry until she eventually calmed down and her tears ceased.
“You okay?” He asked her as he gently caressed her face.
“Yes,” she replied as she wiped her face with the back of her hands.
“Is this the first time he did this”? Desmond asked her as he lifted her off of the floor.
“Yes, but he’s always looking at me weird and blowing kisses at me,” she said as she held on to Desmond’s arm.
“Why you never told anyone, Candy, huh? Why didn’t you tell me or Mal? We would have been handled his ass,” Desmond asked her as he felt his temperature
rising.
Candace looked up at him and stared deeply in his eyes. “I don’t want you and Mal to do anything crazy. I don’t want you guys to get hurt or go away. Please, promise me, Des, you will leave it alone and don’t do anything crazy. Please,” she pleaded as she looked in his eyes.
Desmond touched her face. “Okay, I promise”.
Although it was an awkward moment, and an unusual place for a first kiss, Desmond was unable to help himself as he bent down and gently kissed her lips. Pulling away he gazed at her and when she didn’t protest he bent down and kissed her lips again. Holding her face with both hands he guided her to part her lips as the kiss deepened. Desmond was able to tell she was inexperienced as she was having a tough time moving her tongue. Despite that fact, it was the best kiss he ever experienced. The kiss lasted sixty seconds, but it felt like a lifetime. Pulling away, they smiled at each other.
“My first kiss,” she whispered.
Desmond attempted to once again touch her face when they heard someone enter the building. Once they turned around and realize it was Malachi, They felt relieved. Candace ran into Malachi’s arms as she started crying again. As Malachi held her in his arms, his eyes grew dark once he noticed Frant’s body on the floor. As he consoled her, his eyes met with Desmond’s trying to figure out what just happened. Once he was able to calm her down, he pulled from the embraced as he looked at her.
“You okay?” Malachi asked.
Candace nodded as she wiped her tears.
“Aight, go upstairs and make sure you lock the door. I’ll be upstairs in a minute. Ok?” Malachi instructed her .
“Ok. Uuhmm, are we still going out for my birthday?” Candace asked as she looked between Malachi and Desmond.
Desmond smiled at her. “Happy Birthday. Yeah, we taking you out. Wear something nice, okay.”
“Okay,” she made her way towards the stair case.
Once she disappeared through the doors and up the stairs, Malachi ran towards Frantz’s body on the floor and began stomping him on his back, head and anywhere else he could inflict pain. Desmond finally grabbed a hold of Malachi who was out of breath and drenched in sweat. As Desmond backed him up against the wall to calm him down, Frantz started fidgeting and coughing up blood all over the floor. Once they realized he was conscious, Desmond gradually pulled his gun out once again . Kneeling down, he placed the gun in between Frantz’s eyes.
“Soo, nigga, you like tormenting young girls, huh? Well this time you have the wrong fucking girl. I’m a tell you this shit once and once yo, if you ever put your nasty, filthy hands on her again I will blow your head off. If you even look her way, I will blow your fucking head off.” Desmond said through clenched teeth. Feeling like he made his point, he hit Frantz across the forehead with the butt of the gun causing him to scream out in pain. Standing up, Desmond kicked him in his side as Malachi took that as cue to continue with his kicking and stomping session.
“Aight, that’s enough. Let’s go upstairs and wait for your mom to get back so we can take Candy out to eat.” Desmond said to Malachi as he wiped the sweat from his forehead.
“Okay, let’s go. Stay the fuck away from my sister, stupid ass nigga!” Malachi yelled as he snucked in once last kick to Frantz’s side.
Walking towards the stairs, Malachi stopped Desmond.
“I have to call RiRi and make sure she still going with us. Yo, Des, do you think that nigga be messing with her? He just moved in with her and her mom since his mom just died. You think that punk be trying anything with her?” Malachi asked as they made their way up the stairs.
“Nah, he not that crazy.” Desmond said as he shook his head.
Andre’s House
1988
“Ok, Andre I’m stepping out to go check on my liquor stores and check out the block for a few hours, you boys better not mess up my house,” Romero said as he eyed Andre, Malachi and Desmond. “Desmond, since you’re the oldest, I expect you to act like the eighteen year old that you are and not like these two knuckleheads. Regulate if you have to.”
“Okay Uncle Romero, don’t worry. I’ll watch them.” Desmond convinced his uncle as he made his way out the door. Once Romero closed the door behind him, Desmond immediately made eye contact with Malachi. Desmond signaled him with his hand requesting he follow him into the kitchen. Malachi understood as he stood up and followed Desmond leaving Andre in the living room playing Super Marios video game.
Desmond eyed Malachi before he spoke. He would often forget that Malachi was five years younger than him. Malachi who was only thirteen years old stood
almost eye to eye with Desmond in height and maturity. Desmond was closer to Malachi than he was to Andre despite the fact Andre was his cousin. Malachi was a little more mature than Andre and carried himself with more assertiveness. Although Desmond was able to communicate with Malachi better, Andre and Malachi shared a deeper connection. As a kid being raised in a single home with no father, Malachi has experienced some rough times. His mother Rolonda James did her best but there were times when it was difficult to feed two kids, pay rent, buy clothes and keep a roof over their head. When Andre and Malachi met, Rolonda was on the verge of being evicted. It was Andre who convinced his step-dad Romero and his mom Justine to help them. Malachi was young but mature enough to appreciate such act of kindness and from there he and Andre formed a brotherly bond. Andre was a rowdy kid, with a hot head and a bad temper. The only person who was able to calm Andre was his mom Justine.
His mood swings and temper were pretty much under control for years until Justine passed away three years ago when Andre was ten years old. Her death was hard on him. For years, Justine was the only parent he had besides his grandparents until Romero came into the picture and became the father figure he needed.
“So, remember what we talked about a couple days ago?” Desmond asked Malachi.
“Des, how many time you gotta ask me that? I told you before I was cool that you with my sister, but I ain’t the one you gotta worry about. My mom is the one you gotta worry about. First, she ain’t want Candy to have a boyfriend til she is seventeen and out of high school aaand, I already know she’s gonna say you too old for her.” Malachi said.
“Man, I just turned eighteen and Candy is turning sixteen next month. That’s not too old.” Desmond replied as Malachi raised his hands up in mock surrender.
“Hey, I’m just telling you cause I know my mom. So just go tell her or keep sneaking around like ya been doing,” Malachi said as he laughed.
