Evan’s Envy: A Bad Boy Romance (Sinful Series) Page 4

by Scott Wylder

“The same reason we always do this. So that I can prove to her that I can still make her feel better than any man out there. How do you think I’ve kept her so long? I found something that I’m the best at. That’s why I didn’t invite you for this sooner—I was afraid that might be something else that you were better at than me. I’m tired of being second best at everything behind you, Evan.” Ben’s voice didn’t register any anger; it registered acceptance and partial defeat.

“I don’t know how to feel about all this, Ben. You’ve always been better than me at everything. I’ve lived in your shadow ever since we were in junior high.”

Ben stood. “Just come with me and we’ll settle this once and for all. We both love having a third party involved and this would put so much angst between you and me to rest. Unless you’re afraid that all your practice with these other women hasn’t prepared you for a real woman.” Ben grinned and headed for the door.

“I don’t think I should, Ben. This all sounds wrong.” But, it sounded quite exciting, too. Evan couldn’t deny that his lust was stirred by the invitation.

“Don’t tell me you’re not even curious; I know better. Hell, I’m getting all worked up just thinking about it. You don’t even have to change clothes.”

  Chapter 9

  (Evan)

Ben took his twisted logic and left Evan’s apartment. It all sounded like something out of a badly written porn movie. But, Ben hand been right; Evan was curious. Thiers couldn’t be a serious, steady relationship if they were spending all their time and energy just proving that each was the best sex the other could have.

That Ben had always been envious of Evan made Evan smile. Was he better at things? Was he more handsome? Was he a better lover?

Knocking on Ben’s door half an hour later, Evan waited anxiously. The rivalry between him and Ben is what had made Glenda seem so perfect; he knew that now. She wasn’t perfect—and that wasn’t even the point anymore. Never had been. Evan realized that now. It had been about proving that he was better than Ben and when Ben was out of the picture there was no one there to prove himself to and thus, he lost interest in Glenda.

Ben opened the door. “Ah! I knew you’d show up, Ev.” He motioned Evan inside.

“Yeah. I’m curious, man. Who wouldn’t be, ya know?”

“Well, this is one way to satisfy everybody’s curiosity, isn’t it?” Ben moved to the sofa and sat.

“Is she really your steady? Or, is that just some bullshit cover story?” Evan sat on the chair.

“We’re steady. We’re just freakier than most couples is all.” The grin on Ben’s face was unsettling and familiar. Every time they had been in some competition with each other, an unspoken challenge, Ben wore that grin.

“And you want me to have sex with your woman in front of you just to prove that you’re better at it than I am? That’s twisted.” It was twisted, but at the same time, Evan had to wonder if he could be the better lover—that was the last and most important challenge to win.

“If you’re uncomfortable, I’ll take her first and you can watch. Maybe take a few notes.” Ben laughed sarcastically.

“And if it turns out that she says I’m the better lover…then what?”

Seeming to consider this a moment, Ben replied, “Well then, I guess we’ll have to have several rematches to prove differently, won’t we?”

Glenda waltzed into the room in only her panties and straddled the coffee table between the men. “I am more than happy to think about future rematches.” She licked her lips and looked from Ben to Evan and back again.

Evan’s body reacted to her nakedness. She looked perfect and beautiful again. Was it because there was the possibility of taking her from Ben? Proving that he was the best? Or, was it the challenge that Ben had outright handed him?

As Glenda slid off the table and between Evan’s legs, it didn’t seem to matter anymore. She was touching him, rubbing him, urging him to the point of no return. At first, Ben being present in the room, watching, bothered Evan and then Glenda pulled his shorts off and went to work on him and it didn’t matter anymore that Ben was there.

Even though he didn’t want to admit it, Ben’s presence made it more exciting.

Glenda’s seductive ways soon had Evan ready to take her. Her touches were expert and he felt like he had never felt before with a woman.

Evan took her in front of Ben and her moans were musical, driving him on, further and harder as Ben stood and stripped.

“My turn, Ev. Back off for a while, eh?” Ben took her.

Evan could barely hold back. He wanted to toss Ben aside and have her again. She moaned and squirmed and still it was music to his ears. He watched as Ben did things to her that Evan had always thought of as taboo, but he was happy to know that nothing was off limits.

Finally, Evan could stand it no longer and he said, “All right, man. Let me finish.”

“No. It’s too soon. You want to disappoint the lady?” Ben grinned.

Glenda motioned to Evan and reached for him. “We can all play together, baby, come here.”

The next hour went by in a blur of moans, shuddering orgasms, and sensations Evan had never experienced before.

Afterward, they all three lay across furniture panting and sweaty.

Ben rolled toward Glenda and asked, “So, who won that particularly long competition, babe?” He stroked her long thigh.

“I did.” She stood and smiled at them. “I’m the winner.”

“No, one of us had to win.” Ben was adamant.

“If I have to pick one of you; I choose both. It was a tie.” Flipping her hair as she walked toward the bathroom, she said, “Guess we’ll just have to have more competitions to see which of you improves the most. If not, we’re just all stuck with each other. What a pity, huh?” She winked and walked into the bathroom.

Evan looked at Ben; his expression was bewildered, too. But, Evan wasn’t going to complain. He could live from that moment on looking forward to more competitions. It might not be the happy-ever-after he’d always thought he should want, but he was certainly happy for the moment.
