“Because you’re the best Daddy ever.” He rubbed his cheek against my chest. “Dean reads books about Daddies and Littles and all kinds of things.”
And that explained why he knew so much already… to a degree.
I thought Loren might have followed that line of thinking a bit longer but he yawned again and changed subjects. “They’re going to like me, right?”
They?
“Yes, Sawyer and his family are going to love you.” I’d always found it funny that they both seemed to be worried about the same thing. The only difference was that Loren was a bit more impulsive and hadn’t focused on it until now.
He yawned again and gave me the sweetest nod. “Because I’m funny and I’m a cute Little.”
“Yes, you are.” Giving my cute Little a hug, I reached for the bottle and brought it up to his mouth. “And now it’s time for my boy to take a nap.”
As his lips wrapped around the nipple and he started to suck, I kissed his head. “That’s my beautiful boy.”
Feeling him relax into me as he tried the bottle, I couldn’t help but smile. He probably had no idea how right he was when he called himself cute, but I was never going to forget this moment.
Chapter Nine
Loren
“I’m going to be calm and collected. I’m a fascinating person because I work in video games. I’m not going to talk about random weird things. I’m not going to drink alcohol.” Staring into the mirror, I gave myself the same pep talk I used to reserve for first dates and hookups.
It seemed to apply to most social gatherings.
This was going to be fun and we’d hang out with interesting people who shared similar—
“You need to stop worrying.” Gordon’s voice coming from the doorway of the bathroom had me jumping and letting out a squeak.
“Stop that.” He was having too much fun at my expense.
I tried to frown at him in the mirror, but he came up and wrapped his arms around me. “You are the most fascinating, wonderful, engaging man I’ve ever met. They’re going to love you, and if they don’t, then Sawyer isn’t as smart as I think because he’ll have fallen for asshole morons.”
Giggling, I leaned back into his embrace. “Just because you’re smart enough to realize how incredible I am doesn’t mean other people have the same level of intellect. We can’t hold them to your high standard.”
Gordon leaned down, kissing my neck then nibbling as I moaned. “I’ll hold anyone I want to my high standards because you’re worth it.”
He was the cutest Daddy ever… but watching us in the mirror was kind of hot.
Turning in his embrace, I threw my arms around him. “I love you. Daddy. Gordon. Boyfriend. Grump who steals the last of the cheesecake. I love you.”
He laughed, kissing me deeply as he pressed me against him even tighter. “One time. I ate the last of the dessert one time.”
I shook my head, making a low, displeased sound. “One time is all it takes to destroy dessert trust.”
He just rolled his eyes. “You’re a nut.”
“But I’m your nut and you’re making us late.” Giving him a quick peck, I wiggled. “And you’re going to wrinkle me. They’ll think you fucked me in the car.”
His teasing grin widened. “That wouldn’t be so bad.”
Groaning, I shook my head. “Nope. Not going to show up looking like that.”
Straightening my clothes, I turned to the mirror. The relaxed button-down shirt and slacks were usually reserved for work meetings where at most we were business-casual, but I looked good in the outfit and Gordon liked my ass in the pants.
In fact, he was reaching for it now.
“No, sir.” I turned, wagging my finger at him. “I’m going to look nice and not rumpled.”
The last thing I needed was to show up looking like he’d fucked me in the bathroom.
“Fine.” He leaned in and kissed me again. “But when we get back, you’re going to make it up to me for being so patient.”
Oh, I liked the sound of that. “Deal.”
But if we stayed here, we’d get distracted by all the fun things I might have to do to apologize to him… and while that would be fun, we’d miss dinner. “Let’s go. You’re making us late.”
That earned me a pop on my bottom which hopefully set the tone for the rest of the night.
The drive to the nice Italian place Gordon had picked out didn’t take as long as I’d hoped it would. My nerves settled a bit, but there were still too many things running around in my head. One of the biggest things was that Gordon liked Sawyer and he wanted us to be friends.
I wasn’t sure how that would work because we’d never had the same friends, but I liked the idea of being friends with someone who was at least familiar with age play. If they were pups, I wouldn’t be seen as odd for being Little.
Not that I was planning on making it a big deal, but I wasn’t sure how much of it would come out in everyday conversations. Just figuring out what to tell people when they asked how my weekend went had been difficult.
Thankfully, they were used to my being a bit odd, so my stumbles hadn’t raised any questions.
But I wanted to talk about being Little. I wanted to tell someone about my new play area. It was the best almost fort-like thing ever and only Daddy and Dean had seen it. From what Daddy said about Sawyer, though, he wouldn’t be the type to want to see my fort.
Yes, I liked fort… oh, or maybe my club.
I’d always wanted to have a club with other kids my age when I was younger, but I was always so busy there hadn’t been time for things like that. Maybe one of Sawyer’s boyfriends would be more excited about that kind of stuff.
I had no idea how I’d manage two boyfriends. If they were both Daddy types and focused on me that could be fun, but I figured that wasn’t terribly likely. And having to share Daddy with another sub would be hard. Well, I guess if I loved them too, it wouldn’t be difficult, but—
“Loren?” Daddy’s hand on my leg made me jump.
He should be driving… oh, we were there.
“Yes, Daddy?” Trying to take a subtle deep breath, I smiled and did my best to look calm.
It didn’t work.
“This is going to be fine. I promise.” He leaned over and kissed my cheek. “And when dinner is over, we can go home and play in your closet if you want.”
That made me giggle. “You’re pushing me back in the closet, are you?”
Cracking a smile, he shook his head. “I’m fairly sure there’s no chance of that.”
Giving him a quick kiss, I smiled and knew it looked much happier that time. “Let’s go. You keep dawdling.”
He gave me a mock sigh and frowned. “I’m sorry I’m so old and slow. I guess I’ll just have to go to bed when we get home. No funny business for old fogies.”
Giggling again, I nodded. “It’s probably for the best. I’ll take care of anything that comes up later.”
Gordon growled and leaned closer to nibble my neck. “Never. Your body belongs to me.”
I loved it when he got all sexy and possessive. “Yes, Daddy.”
“Hmm, that’s my good boy. Maybe you’ll get to come later after all.”
There was a chance I wouldn’t get to? Pouting, I gave him my best dejected look. “Aww, but I’ve been good.”
It was Daddy’s turn to shake his head. “Don’t turn me on.”
Giggling, I straightened and did my best to look cute and boring. “Dinner. You’re going to get me rumpled.”
Before he could take that as a challenge, I opened the door and pretended to be waiting for him. Daddy laughed, but he followed me out, locking the door. As he came around toward my side of the car, he took my hand. “They’re going to see all the reasons I love you and we’re going to have a wonderful evening.”
With that kind of sweetness, what was there to worry about?
I was pretty sure we were the definition of awkward.
I couldn’t complain that it was goin
g badly, but something wasn’t working. It was like the business meeting we’d had right before layoffs happened when I first started working for the company. Everyone had been on their best behavior but it hadn’t felt natural.
There wasn’t a risk of getting fired this time, but I still wasn’t sure how to fix it.
Normally, Gordon handled situations like this, but he was pretending not to notice and talking about boring things. It was probably the polite thing to do, but it wasn’t helpful.
I didn’t need polite businessman Gordon… I needed take-charge Daddy Gordon.
“I’ve never been. Was it fun?” I thought it was a boring question, but asking about their trip to Orlando had Cooper lighting up.
“It was fabulous. We stayed in this great condo with alligators and Universal was so much fun.” He leaned forward, whispering quietly, but bumped his plate with his hands which set off a cascade that almost knocked over Jackson’s water.
He didn’t even seem to realize it, but Jackson handled it all like it was second nature as he continued to talk about some payroll website. “The Harry Potter stuff is great. It’s so well done you even feel the dragon’s fiery breath during the bank ride.”
It’d been ages since I read the books, but it was starting to sound like fun.
“Was there other fun stuff to do or was it just the Harry Potter rides that were good?” Daddy, Sawyer, and Jackson were talking about work and boring stuff, so I was glad I’d gotten to sit next to Cooper at the large round table.
He shook his head. “No, there were a lot of good rides on the Universal Studios side. I liked that side better than the Islands of Adventure part of the park. Men in Black was a lot of fun too. You get to shoot aliens.”
I glanced over at Gordon to see if he’d heard our quiet conversation.
Nope.
Cooper seemed to have understood what I’d been thinking because as I turned back, he grinned. “We’ll drop more hints around your Daddy later—oops, I mean—”
He started stumbling around, trying to fix what he clearly hadn’t meant to say, but I just shook my head and dropped my voice even lower. “It’s fine. He is my Daddy.”
Cooper whispered back. “But I’m not supposed to mention it or the puppy play or the fact that Jackson is our Master because you might get nervous.”
“I would?” I cocked my head. “I thought you would.”
He shook his head. “I love being a pup and I love talking about Jackson and submitting and all kinds of things, but I’m supposed to behave.”
“Who said?” I glanced around the table. “Daddy said to act normal but not to worry about what I said because you would understand.”
“Sawyer said.” Cooper shot Sawyer a dirty look. “We’re supposed to be nice and kind of boring around Gordon because he doesn’t want to scare off his friend.”
Oh, that was interesting.
“I was kind of hoping you wouldn’t be boring so I wouldn’t have to be boring.” I shrugged when Cooper giggled and Sawyer shot him a look that was clearly telling him to behave.
Cooper wasn’t having any of it. “I don’t have to be good. He doesn’t expect me to be boring.”
Sawyer groaned as Daddy and Jackson tried not to laugh. They were both coughing quietly as Sawyer looked up and seemed to be praying for patience. I wasn’t terribly religious, but I thought that hadn’t turned out so well in the Bible, so he might want to be careful.
Cooper giggled again, this time poking me in the side. “He thinks he has to look boring at work, but he said that your Daddy said that he’s now your Daddy.”
The sentence was a bit convoluted, but I nodded. “Yes, when Sawyer told him about the puppy play, he realized I might be Little. But I’d never heard of it so we’re going slow.”
“How did you not know about that?” Cooper was so surprised he was just a tiny bit loud, but I didn’t mind the stares we got from the other people around us.
I answered him quieter, though.
“Um, I work a lot, and it's not anything terribly grown-up, so I hardly ever watch… you know or even wander around the internet.” I thought I’d answered that fairly well, but he giggled, leaning closer.
“You don’t like porn?” His open smile turned slightly naughty. “There are some fun ones. I could help you find better porn if you want. And the internet is fascinating; you really need to explore it all. Wait, what do you do again? I thought you made video games. They’re all nearly naked and doing odd stuff these days.”
I wasn’t sure where to start.
“I make kids’ video games. Like the learning ones where you teach little kids to count and what their colors are or for older kids where you help them with math facts.” I was trying to figure out a way to explain my views on porn when he squealed.
Sitting up excitedly, he beamed at me. “That’s the perfect job for a Little. It’s so cute.”
Okay. I hadn’t thought of it that way, but maybe he had a point. “Maybe that’s why I like it so much. What do you do?”
Had Daddy said?
Cooper smiled even wider. “I’m a manager at a coffee shop. I worked my way from the ground up and now I’m taking online college courses.”
“That’s great.” And the coffee thing made sense considering how easily excitable he seemed to get.
He wiggled happily. “I love talking to everyone and the coffee and my employees. I have employees now since I’m the manager.”
“That’s probably your pup side.” He’d started that conversation first, so I didn’t feel bad about bringing it up again. “Pups probably like to play.”
His head bobbed up and down. “I love to play and to get attention, but Sawyer is much quieter. He’s a very cuddly pup.”
“They come in different types?” Was it like the different ages Littles came in?
“Oh yes.” He leaned forward again, jostling the table as his voice rose. “It’s great because you get to choose what kind of pup you want to be. There are big gruff guard dog type pups and fun ones like me.”
“Do you get toys? I have a fort we made out of a big closet and it has pillows and my books and twinkly lights on the ceiling.” I wasn’t sure what he’d say, but when he gave me another of his beaming smiles, I knew I wouldn’t have to worry.
“Can I come see it? I have toys and a bed and sometimes Jackson makes me an obstacle course, but I don’t have a fort. That’s fabulous.” He turned toward Jackson. “Master, I can go see his fort, right? Sawyer said not to ask to see him Little, but he didn’t say anything about his fort or his toys.”
Sawyer groaned again, but from the grins around the rest of the table, I had a feeling the answer was yes.
I might get my clubhouse after all.
Chapter Ten
Gordon
Flopping back on the couch, I pulled Loren down on top of me. He wiggled until he was straddling my legs, then curled against my chest. “See, I told you that was going to go great.”
He snorted. “Thanks to the constant business talk? Or the payroll website?”
I scoffed and smacked his ass. “I was keeping the conversation going.”
“You just didn’t want to upset your friend.” Loren giggled. “It was cute.”
Popping up, he grinned. “But I, on the other hand, was fun and had a good time with Cooper. And he’s going to come see my room. Do you think he’ll be a pup or a person when he comes over? I think I’d be great at throwing the ball for him.”
I laughed, pulling him back down to my chest. “Probably a person, but either way would be fine with me.”
“Sawyer will probably be a person if he comes too.” Loren sounded slightly hesitant, but judging from the hug Sawyer gave him as we left, Sawyer was definitely warming up to him.
“Very true.” I hugged my sweet boy tight, kissing his head. “But I saw his face when you and Cooper were talking about it. I think he wants to come too.”
“He’s kind of shy, though, right?”
Ma
ybe shy wasn’t the right word, but I wasn’t sure of a better one right off the bat. “Yeah, but he’s going to open up once he gets a little more comfortable with you.”
“But Cooper’s already comfortable with me.” Loren sat up again, grinning ear to ear. “Once we stopped trying to be boring, we had a lot to talk about.”
The way he phrased that made me laugh. “Yes, once boring got thrown out the window, it went much better.”
“He even thinks my job is perfect for a Little.” Loren wiggled on my lap, his grin becoming slightly wicked as he felt my dick starting to respond to his squirming. “He thought making kids’ video games sounded like fun.”
Pinning his hips down so he’d stop rubbing his cock against mine, I gave him a quick peck on the lips. “Because your job is wonderful and you’re a great person.”
He tried to wiggle again. “And I’m sexy too.”
Sexy and horny, if I had to guess.
I slid my hands around so I was gripping his ass and kneading the round globes. “Yes, you’re also needy and achingly empty, aren’t you?”
Loren made a low moan as he tried to rock his hips forward again. But I still had him pinned against me. “Naughty boy. Are you supposed to be trying to get off like this?”
He shook his head, but the expression on his face was filled with need, not apology. “I was so good at dinner, though, Daddy.”
He wasn’t Little, but I was Daddy. Something seemed to have shifted in the way he saw submission and the way he saw me. But whatever was going through his head, the way he looked at me said how much he loved me.
“You were, mostly. But what about when you and Cooper started discussing tails just to make Sawyer squirm?” His wicked grin said he knew what he’d done, but he was fighting to look innocent.
“No, Daddy, I wouldn’t do that.” Then his grin widened. “Cooper did.”
Laughing, I gave his ass another swat. “Naughty boy.”
He wrapped his arms around me and gave me a tender smile. “But I’m your naughty boy.”
That he was.
