“I can’t, babe. I didn’t think about how good it would feel inside you without a condom. I don’t want to come too soon.”

“Are we going to have to build up your…stamina?”

He stopped moving, chuckled at the humor twinkling in her eyes. “Yeah. I guess it’ll take a lot of practice.”

  “Well, practice does make perfect.”

“That it does.” With their bodies still joined, he shifted to his knees, pulled her up to straddle his lap. He tugged off her T-shirt and tossed it to the floor. “So how about if you’re in control?”

Heat flared in her eyes. She tunneled her fingers into his hair, held his head while she kissed him again and again. Luke clasped her ass and helped her to move over him. She developed a rhythm with him, one that sped up as her breathing quickened. Suspecting her orgasm grew near, Luke fastened his mouth over the pounding pulse in her throat and sucked hard. She shattered in his arms.

Luke had but a moment to enjoy feeling her pussy squeeze his cock when his own orgasm took over his body. Holding tightly to her ass, he pushed his shaft as far inside her as he could and let the pleasure flood through him.

Erin’s bones not only melted, they completely dissolved. She didn’t have one bit of strength left in her body. If Luke hadn’t held her, she would’ve landed on the bed in a useless heap.

“God,” he muttered against her neck.

  “Amen to that.”

Luke lifted his head, gave her a crooked smile. “I know this is a cliché, but was it as good for you as it was for me?”

  “Ten times better.”

His smile turned into a cocky grin. “Damn, I’m good.”

Laughing, she cradled his face and gave him a smacking kiss. “You are better than good, Mr. Duvall. You are amazing.”

“I could throw out some adjectives about you too, like incredible, hot, beautiful, sexy, stun—“

She cut off his compliment by kissing him again. “You’re sweet.”

  “Just honest.”

Erin looked into his gorgeous blue eyes and saw herself reflected in his pupils. Seeing herself made her feel as if she’d become a part of him. “I wanted a connection with a man during sex. You certainly gave me that. And so much more.”

He kissed her with such warmth, tears sprang to her eyes. “We already love each other as friends, Erin. We’re ahead of most couples when they start out.”

“True.” She ran her hands through his thick mane of hair. “Thank you for trusting enough in our friendship to help me in a rather…unconventional way.”

“It was my pleasure.” He flashed his cocky grin again. “After all, what are friends for?”
