Forever in my Heart: Book 3 in My Heart Series Page 2

by Aleya Michelle

Always the gentleman, Kade casually jumps out and walks around to open my door. He puts his hand on my lower back and sneakily runs it across my arse. He locks the Ute and accidentally drops his keys, as he collects them from the ground he rubs his coarse hands up my leg.

“Mmm, you’re right, they are so smooth, Rox,” he says to me smugly as he stands up in close proximity, almost nose to nose with me. Well played, Kade, well played, I think to myself.

My core is throbbing, and my breath has hitched from his little stunt.

He attentively grabs my hand as we walk in. Lining up, Kade orders our tickets and pays. I have become accustomed to him paying most times, although we are both happy to sharing.

“I’ll order the popcorn. Do you want a Coke or water, babe?” I ask him, knowing his choice will fluctuate depending on his surfing training.

“Coke please, gorgeous,” he replies, and his compliment makes me smile.

Taking our delicious popcorn and ice-cold drinks, we head towards the number four cinema where the attendant takes our tickets. I’m first to walk through the darkened aisle and I stop to take a look where to sit. Kade pulls up hard and flush behind me, pushing himself into me so there is not even an inch of space between us. Then the son of a bitch blows in my ear. Ugh, that move gets me every time, and I immediately get goosebumps and chills.

I try to regain my nonchalant composure and continue walking to try not to show him how turned on I actually am. I slowly climb the stairs to sit in the middle row, where we take our seats.

“You okay, Rox? You look a little flushed,” he teasingly says to me.

I can’t help but look at him. Big mistake. Huge mistake because those big, chocolate brown eyes draw me in and sparks fly. I am totally struggling to keep cool, even though I am hot and flushed.

Obviously the more sex you have, the more you want it, and this guy has me acting worse than a horny teenager.

“Not at all. I am fine, thanks,” I reply trying to hide my arousal. I take a few deep breaths to help my composure. I’m stubborn as an ox and won’t go down without a fight.

Kade grabs my hand and rubs his fingers through mine as he leans close to my ear and whispers, “You are even more sexy when you are horny, baby.” His words are turning me into jelly so I close my eyes to compose myself.

He blows his warm breath in my ear and slowly licks the outer ridge of my ear with his tongue.

Fuck me. I am about to combust.

“What evil game are you playing at?” I whisper, now smirking at his antics.

“Do you want me to straddle you right here and now in front of everyone?” I ask softly to gage his response.

“Yes, please, I’m as hard as a fucking rock baby and I need to be inside you,” he whispers in my ear and that is all I can take.

I roughly grab his hand and drag him out of the almost empty cinema. I’m so glad it’s a quiet Sunday afternoon as I pull him into the deserted ladies’ bathroom and into the first stall. I quickly lock it and push him hard against the door. While he is grinning like the Cheshire cat, I pounce and kiss his edible lips, hard. My tongue assaults his as my hands run roughly through his hair.

Kade tightly grips my arse and picks me up to wrap my legs around him.

“Mmm,” I can’t help but moan. I don’t even care if anyone comes in. He rubs a hand across my full breast and roughly frees it from my singlet top and lace bra before he sucks it hard making my arousal intensify.

Overcome with lust, I reach my hand down and undo his jean shorts hastily. I know this will be a quickie and completely rough and raw; no other way will do. I set free his erect cock and start to stroke it, as he spins me and pushes me against the door. Kade unzips my shorts and places me down for a millisecond to remove them and my G-string in record time. Then he slyly enters a finger inside my folds with ease, as I am literally dripping like a melted ice cube.

With a swift lift, I am back up against the door and straddling him once more. His cock at my entrance and I collide with the door as he enters me hard. “Mmm,” I moan loudly into his neck.

What is it about a quickie in a public place that makes it so much hotter?

“Fucking hell, Roxy. This is so hot, woman,” Kade whispers into my ear as he thrusts into me over and over.

“You are dripping. Goddamn, you’re sexy as sin,” he adds as his assault continues. When he licks my ear and gives me one last pounding, I come apart and convulse as my raging orgasm unravels. I bite into Kade’s neck and it is quite possibly one of the best orgasms I’ve had to date.

And in the ladies’ toilets, for fuck’s sake.

Kade follows quickly behind me with a last thrust as he pins me to the door then kisses me with fervour and unadulterated lust.

I can’t help but giggle at what in the world just happened.

“Well, we gave it a good shot, but it’s safe to say we can’t keep our hands off each other, Mr. Thomas, even in public places,” I say playfully, and he chuckles softly.

“You, my dear, are a nymphomaniac,” he replies comically and that makes me laugh harder.

“Takes one to know one,” I state and give him one last kiss as he gently places me on the floor. Still half laughing and on a euphoric high from our releases, we find our scattered clothing and start to get dressed so we can return to the movie.

“Let me sneak out first so you can make yourself presentable,” he says looking at me like he wanted to devour me again. Then he adds with a grin, “See you in the cinema.” He walks out of the bathroom stall with a confident swagger, never locking eyes with any of the women he passes.

I am still smiling and in shock that it happened in here, as I tend to the clean-up in aisle five. Well, that is a new public place to add to the list.

  Chapter 3

  Expecting the Unexpected

Life is pretty perfect right now. However, as my father would say, ‘When you have a smile on your face is when you are more vulnerable to something bad happening.’

After another day at work, I drive home in rush hour traffic, park my little blue beast in my usual spot, and head into my apartment. I stop to collect the mail from the apartment’s letterbox, unlock the door, and as per usual, I throw the letters on the kitchen bench, expecting nothing more than bills.

I can’t help but notice the top envelope is addressed to me and is handwritten, not typed like the usual bills we get.

I eagerly pick it up for a closer look and notice the familiar writing; I definitely recognise it, it is Dylan’s. What the hell is he sending me a letter for?

Shit. What do I do? Throw it out or read it?

I really need a second opinion. Half of me wants to put it in the trash while the other half of me wants to read it. Dylan has me puzzled as to why he would be writing to me. Ninety percent of me couldn’t care less, but the ten percent is stupidly curious. I send a text to Jemma for help.

Hey Hoe, I have a dilemma.

Dylan sent me a letter. Should I open it or throw it out?

She replies and it makes me giggle, it’s such a typical Jemma response.

Throw that fucker to the bin, girlfriend.

I know I should, but I can’t help but wonder why he is writing me, though. What could he possibly have to say? The words ‘I’m sorry’ just won’t cut it.

  I admit to her.

Exactly, so do not open it. Don’t waste your time.

What if I read it and tell you if there is anything important inside?

She replies with the perfect idea.

Yes, please. You read my mind. I think someone should read the letter and you don’t have the boyfriend emotional attachment, plus I think Kade would totally freak over nothing.

Love you, whorebag. See you after work.

I am so glad that Jemma understands me. She always knows how to help.

Okay skank, I will do it for you because I love you and because you are going to be my maid of honour. See you later.

  I take a hot an
d numbing shower and throw on some casual shorts and a sleeveless top, desperately trying to stay distracted until Jemma gets home in approximately thirty-two minutes. Not that I am counting...

Why is it that when it’s something you know you shouldn’t do, it just makes you want to do it more?

I microwaved the leftover spaghetti bolognese from last night; who has time to cook every night when you can make enough for two nights. Then dish our tasty smelling dinner onto plates. I slowly set the table, keeping as busy as possible until I hear the front door open and my sensational best friend enter.

“Right, so give it to me then. You didn’t cave and open it yourself, did you, Rox?” Jemma queries me while pointing her finger at me. She knows me too well.

“No, I didn’t cave though I thought about it more than I’d like to admit. What do you think he wrote, Jem?” I look at her with a worried expression.

“Only one way to find out,” she tells me as she reaches for the envelope and tears it open.

As she unfolds the paper her eyes become glued to the letter, her expression gives nothing away, goddammit.

“Spill it, what does it say?” I state boldly as I need to know whether it’s a scary stalker letter or the ‘I hope you can forgive and forget’ type.

“Okay, Roxy, so the short version is that he is sorry, wants you to know he is paying for his sins, and seeking help for his illness. My version of this letter is that psycho Dylan is trying for an early release on good behaviour, and he is lying through his fucking teeth. He has an illness all right, it’s called schizophrenia, and this bullshit letter is all for show. Don’t buy it, Rox, just pretend that you never got it,” Jemma adds her harsh opinion, and I agree with what she is saying.

“Fucking hallelujah about him getting help,” I state a little relieved about that fact.

“He sure as hell needs it!” I giggle to Jem, at least I know he is safely locked up and can’t come find me. That would scare the bejesus out of me.

You sure know how to pick them, Rox, I say to myself.

In the words of Taylor Swift, I am going to ‘Shake it off, shake it off.’

My past that included Dylan is now dead and buried six feet under, covered in dirt, bugs, and lots of other heavy and gross items that will keep it hidden.

The memories of Dylan and the kidnapping and the fire still give me chills like a horror movie. So, what’s in the past will stay that way.

Shaking it off and moving onwards and upwards, reaching for the stars with Kade.

He is my soul mate, my baby, my hero, my knight in shining armour, and my very own Superman rolled into one sexy beast.

I don’t know how I could have gotten through these last few months without him as my saviour and protector. He rescued me in a million different ways.

When a life-threatening event occurs, it definitely puts everything back into perspective.

Kind of like Edward in Twilight when he leaves Bella thinking it’s best for her.

  Kade did that for me.

It hurt like hell but knowing he was trying to protect me in the long run shows me how deep his love for me really goes.

Then my mind wonders to sexy Jacob and his muscles in New Moon, he must have worked out hourly to get that body.

Note to self, girls’ night watching The Twilight Saga very soon.

Being the honest girlfriend that I am, I reluctantly decide to tell Kade about the letter from Dylan. I knew he would be pissed that he wrote to me.

“Who the fuck does he think he is? After what he did to you, he shouldn’t be allowed to make contact with you at all,” he states angrily at the justice system.

“I agree, baby, but I guess in their eyes it’s part of his therapy,” I reply trying to calm him and justify a reason for the letter.

“I just wanted to be honest and upfront about it, that’s why I told you, Kade,” I add to show him that I don’t want there to be any secrets in our relationship.

“Thanks, baby, I am glad you told me, and even more so that Jemma opened the letter and not you,” he confesses and pulls me in for a loving hug.

“How about we head up to the lakehouse Friday after work and get away from reality for a while?” Kade asks me obviously trying to erase the whole letter conversation.

“Sounds perfect to me,” I reply and pull him in tighter and flush to my body. I am relieved that I told him the truth; secrets do nothing but destroy.

Look at Kade’s mother and father and how their lies and secrets tore them apart. Oh and infidelity, of course.

Friday can’t come fast enough. We crave a weekend of peace and serenity.

I packed a few necessities Thursday night so we could just change clothes and jump in the car after work, and that’s what we do after I change into a cute pink summer dress and my Havaiana beach thongs. Summer is the best season for sure.

We eagerly drive up to the lake house. The traffic isn’t too bad and we have Nickelback blaring between our chatting.

The line from Matchbox Twenty’s song “Real Word” is what pops into my mind ‘I wish the real world would just stop hassling me.’ It’s perfect for the last week; why can’t we stay in our perfect little bubble where it’s just Kade and me in love, having fun, and not a care in the world?

It’s a gorgeous summer’s night with the sun is just setting as we arrive, our windows are down and the breeze is blowing cool and refreshing across my skin.

“Go and get your bikini on, Rox. It’s a perfect night for a swim unless you want to skinny dip?” Kade says, smirking. I contemplate it for a minute, but then decide on being the mature one in the relationship.

I quickly change into my black bikini in record time and Kade into his Mambo board shorts. We walk hand in hand the few hundred metres to the lake, where we place our towels on the embankment.

Desperate to release the worry of the world, I splash my way out into the soothing lake. The water is beautiful and still warm from the sun. I walk out until its waist deep and hear Kade splashing behind me so I turn to embrace my sexy half-naked surfer.

Kade being Kade, picks me up and wraps my legs around him as he kisses me sweetly. He jumps under the fresh water with me still wrapped around his waist, catching me by surprise.

The water is invigorating as it hits my face and washes away my troubles.

It is only waist deep so we stay sitting on the bottom of the lake with my legs still wrapped around him, embracing each other and relaxing, the last rays of the sun on our cheeks, the slight breeze against my skin as it hits the drops of water left behind.

“This is pure heaven, baby. Why can’t we live up here and do this all day every day?” I state as he pulls me in closer for a wet, salty kiss. I love that kind the best.

“If we win the lottery, I will keep you hostage up here. There will be no working, just swimming, sex, eating, and maybe beer.”

“I’m buying a ticket, Mr. Thomas. Those activities sound like the ultimate way to spend the rest of my life,” I reply. His smile widens and he kisses me again with what feels like all of the love in his heart.

The next morning, I’m in a deep sleep, and totally looking forward to no alarm to wake me up, when I feel Kade trying to lift me gently out of the bed.

“What are you doing, Kade? Why are you trying to drag me out of bed when it’s still dark?” “I’m about to go crazy ninja on you, let me sleep,” I tell him feeling pissed off that he is waking me, but also intrigued as to why since it’s not something he does regularly unless it’s for sex.

“Baby, it will be worth it I promise. Just trust me,” his deep husky voice tells me. Damn, it’s sexy as hell.

“Well, it better be worth it, this princess needs her beauty sleep,” I remark to him sarcastically. Sometimes I wonder if it is my second language.

Kade sweeps me up into his arms and I nuzzle into his neck. It’s rewarding and worth it already, but I’m not admitting it just yet.

“Let’s stay in bed and you can show me a
nother way you are worthy, baby,” I whisper as he carries me through the back deck and through the lake’s entrance.

“You will get that, too, if you are patient, Miss Thorne,” he replies back with a fantastic response that has me grinning widely.

Kade sweetly carries me down to the sandy bank of the lake and lays me down on a picnic blanket he had obviously prepared earlier.

I am speechless as I get a glimpse of the beautiful and amazing sky in front of me.

The sun is rising through the clouds and colours of burnt orange, crimson red and canary yellow fill the sky as it slowly gets higher and higher in the sky.

Kade lies behind me and embraces me tightly as we both stare at the sight unfolding before us on this gorgeous Saturday morning.

“Wow, Kade this is magnificent. Truly an amazing beauty,” I tell him in awe of the picture perfect moment and really of his idea of bring me out here to watch it together.

“It sure is a beautiful and mesmerising sight,” Kade states. I feel his chocolate brown eyes on me and turn around to find him staring at me intensely. He obviously isn’t talking about the sunrise. I can’t help but smile at him with adoration.

“Your beauty is much more radiant than any sunrise Roxy. To me, you are the ultimate when it comes to wonders of the world.” I can’t help but shed a tear at the beautiful words he just confessed.

Right now in this magical, enchanting moment, Kade has written his name on my heart and I swear it will stay etched there forever.

“Wow, you are outdoing yourself today baby, first this beautiful sunrise and now that sensational declaration. I love you so much Kade,” I tell him and lean back to kiss him with all of the love I feel right at this moment.

I’m not sure how much time passes, but we lay that way just embracing and kissing lovingly.

Eventually, Kade pulls back and stands scooping me up as he carries me back up to the house and lays me on the lounge before he takes off his shirt. I can’t help but stare at the second beautiful sight I’ve seen this morning.

“Kade, do you know how damn perfect your body is? Tanned and toned to perfection, rock hard abs, and these muscles in your arms... I could orgasm from these alone baby,”
