“No, I don’t need it, but I like the feel of it. Why would you do that?”

“I thought Ginger and I could go for a wax before the wedding. I was just testing it to see how it felt and if we liked it.”

Mitchell shook his head as he cupped her pussy. “This is mine, and I want my landing strip back. You can wax the rest, but not that,” he said as he leaned down to kiss her.

Kayla laughed. “You are so spoiled.”

“Umm hum,” he said as he went back to her neck.

He slipped a finger between her folds to find her wet for him. “You feel ready for me, baby.” He kissed her breast as he moved over her, but avoided her nipple as he kissed his way to the other. Kayla arched her back as Mitchell blew cool air on her hardened nipples, making her moan.

  “Please, Mitch.”

  “Please what, baby?”

“Suck my nipples.” She moved her hands to pinch them, but Mitchell moved his arms to keep her from reaching her destination. He knew how much she loved the attention he paid her nipples.

“Not yet. I’ll take care of them.”

Kayla moaned and wiggled her hips. He had her turned on and knew she was craving the release. “Do I need to get the cuffs?”

  She shook her head. “No.”

Mitchell rolled his hips to press his cock against her. He smiled as he said with a heavy breath against her nipple, “Do I get my landing strip back?”

  “Yes! God, yes!”

Mitchell immediately sucked her nipple into his mouth. Her whimper told him she was close, so he slid into the part of her body that was strictly his. Her moan was pure ecstasy while his groan was pure primal. He released her nipple and rose up to his hands.

“Put your feet on the bed and raise your ass off of it.”

She did as he said and the position made it easier for him to get as deep as possible. “Don’t move, baby. That feels good.”

  “Oh, Mitch…”

It didn’t take long for her legs to shake, so he pulled back. As his knees bent, he pulled her with him. She was at his mercy as he moved her body up and down his shaft while she tried to rotate her hips.

“Fuck, baby. I need to come.”

“Yes, Mitch, oh yeess…” Kayla gave into the pleasure as Mitchell pumped into her a couple more times.

His release built until he stilled as his cum shot directly into her. “Mak,” he whispered then he bent to kiss her stomach.

  Everything was set.

The pastor had agreed to perform the double wedding, Mrs. Gregory had gotten the approval for the street dance reception, and the girls had finalized the guest list. All that was left was for them to get their wedding dresses and submit the wedding announcements to the newspaper.

Evan heard the girls talking as he walked down the hall even though their words were low and unclear.

“You know we’re going to have to pick a dress off the rack for this to take place in two weeks, right?” Kayla asked.

“I know. What if we can’t? Are you okay with getting married in jeans?” Ginger asked.

“I know Mitch would be,” Kayla replied.

  “Evan too.”

“Evan too what?” he asked as he walked into the kitchen.

“You’d be happy for us to get married in jeans.” Ginger wrapped her arms around him.

“Darlin’, I’ll wear whatever you want, and you know I don’t care what you wear. Make yourself happy, all right? Does this mean we have a date?”

She nodded. “Two weeks from tomorrow.”

“Sounds perfect.” He kissed her temple. “Where’s Mitchell?”

“Washing Shelby, I think,” Kayla said. “What time are we leaving?”

“I need to check in with the station and wash Betty, then I’ll be ready to go. God, I hate that Nathan isn’t back here yet. I hope Jeff Applegate can hold everything together this weekend. Hopefully, it’ll be calm,” Evan said with a sigh. He walked outside as he connected a call to the department.

Mitchell was drying Shelby when Evan walked toward the car. “You need this?” Mitchell asked pointing at the car washing supplies.

“Yes. Would you pull Betty out while I finish with the station?” He threw Mitchell his keys.

Mitchell revved Betty’s engine just as Evan said, “Jeff, you have my cell if you need me. I’ll be back in town on Sunday and will call you when I get home. If anything happens, call me. Sheriff Cahill knows I’m out of town and will help any way he can, thank you.” Evan disconnected the call. “Damn, I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of that sound,” he said as Mitchell got out of Betty.

“I think we ought to take the cars to the old drag strip. Do you think they’ll let us in?” Mitchell asked.

“I’ve been thinking the same thing, but haven’t had time to call. I’ll check into it next week,” Evan said. He washed Betty so they could get on the road. The drive was a little more than an hour, but with weekend summer traffic it could be longer. By early afternoon, they were loaded up and on the road.

“Since we have a date, I’m going to give the blog permission to print the wedding announcement, okay?” Ginger casually asked.

Evan gritted his teeth to the point he thought one would break as he thought through all the scenarios of releasing the announcement. Finally, he rubbed his jaw. “God, I can’t believe I’m getting ready to suggest this, but send it. It may piss your stalker off and draw him out. The ceremony is private, and we’ll have extra security at the reception, so this may be the perfect time to get him. You’ll be with me, Nathan, or Sam at all times.”

“What? You’re wanting to use our wedding as a sting operation? Are you serious?” The pitch of Ginger’s voice was something Evan hadn’t heard before.

“Think about it, Gin. It’s perfect. We get him, and all this shit stops. You can relax and enjoy the pregnancy. You can leave the ranch without Mitchell or me, and I won’t have to worry so much. Darlin’, it’s a win-win for both of us. What do you say?”

Ginger looked out the passenger window. When Evan took her hand, she turned toward him as he brought the back of it to his lips. That melted her every time, and he saw her squeeze her legs together. “What makes you think he’ll come out of hiding from the announcement?”

“He sent the picture of Nathan and me to that same blog, correct?”

  “Yes,” she quietly said.

“Obviously, he follows it to see what you’re doing or where you are. He’ll see it. By the way, don’t write articles about this weekend until we get home, okay? That way he won’t know where you are.”

“That makes sense. I’ll send it for her to run tomorrow.”

“Not tomorrow. Let’s wait until next week so I can make sure everything is in place, and I know what the layout of the reception will look like.” Evan gave her a reassuring smile. “Gin, he won’t get near you. I promise.”

Ginger sent a text to the girl she worked with at the lifestyle blog with approval to run the announcement next week as well as the date. “This makes it feel official,” she said with a grin.

Evan squeezed her hand. “That’s because it is.”

Kayla relaxed in the passenger’s seat in Mitchell’s car with her head against the headrest and a smile on her face.

“What are you so happy about?” Mitchell asked.

“Is this real? I mean, after all this time are we really getting married in two weeks?” She rolled her head toward him with tears in her eyes. “I never thought I’d have this. Oh, wait a minute.” She pinched herself on the arm. “Ow! Nope, not dreaming.”

Mitchell laughed. “Mak, I’ve waited so long for this. Nothing is going to stop this wedding, even if I have to kidnap the preacher.” He quickly glanced at her. “Please don’t get cold feet.”

“I want this too, Mitch, but kidnapping the preacher would cause us to spend our honeymoon in separate places. Me in our hotel room, and you in jail. I don’t think I’d enjoy that. You might
, though.” She laid her hand on Mitch’s arm. “Just don’t bend over to pick up the soap and you’ll be fine. I’m sure they won’t keep you for long.” She laughed.

“Did you bring the handcuffs? I’m getting a vision of your ass cuffed to the bed, and me having free reign of your body. Oh, baby, the things I’d do. You might be able to walk by the time you and Ginger go shopping tomorrow,” Mitchell said with a sexy grin.

“You’d like that wouldn’t you?” Kayla sat back. “Maybe on our honeymoon.” She flashed him a seductive smile.

Mitchell adjusted himself. “Fuck, we’ve got another half hour until we’re there. We definitely need some alone time before dinner.”

Kayla slid her hand over Mitchell’s thigh. “I can take care of you while you drive.”

“Stop! You want us to wreck? I can wait an hour.” He picked up her hand and kissed her palm before placing it on his thigh.

The two cars pulled into the Cotton Sail Hotel on the Savannah River. The valets met them with wide smiles. When Evan and Mitchell emerged from the cars they asked, “Can you drive a stick?”

“Yes, sir,” both valets said at the same time.

“You better treat her more gently than a virgin on prom night. You got me?” Evan said as he glared at the young man taking his keys.

“Yes, sir.” The young man turned to get the luggage out of the trunk.

Mitchell looked at his valet. “Treat her like a newborn baby, understand?”

“Yes, sir,” the young lady responded with a smile. “I’ll take your bags up before I take your car to the garage.” The girl’s cheeks flushed as she walked to the trunk.

Evan grabbed Mitchell by the shoulder and quietly said, “Dude, what the hell were y’all doing on the way down?”

  “Nothing, why?”

Evan glanced down. “Bro, do you and Kayla need some time or are your pants too small?”

“Fuck,” Mitchell sighed, “we need some time. We’ll meet you in the lobby for drinks at six.” Mitchell walked up behind Kayla and tried to adjust himself without anyone noticing. “Let’s get to our room quickly,” he softly said as he nipped at her neck.

Evan walked to Ginger. “Mitchell needs to work off some energy. We’ve got about three hours. Are you up for a little exercise of our own?”

  14

At six o’clock on the dot, the elevator doors opened with Mitchell and Kayla inside. They held the door for Evan and Ginger to join them. The girls wore dresses and high-heeled shoes while the men wore dress pants and shirts with open collars and rolled sleeves. They descended to the hotel’s restaurant in the basement on River Street.

As they ate, they discussed where the girls were shopping the following day. The wedding shop on East Broughton was across the street from a bar where the guys could have a drink while they waited on the girls. The outside tables were perfect so they could watch the door without having to stand in front of the store.

The girls excused themselves for the ladies’ room while the guys took care of the bills. As they waited, Kayla said, “Ginger, want to do this?” Kayla showed Ginger a flyer for a free trial belly dancing class going on at Ellis Square. “It sounds like fun.”

Ginger thought about her Arabian Nights costume Evan had purchased, but she hadn’t worn it yet because she was saving it for their honeymoon night. This would give her some moves for when she did. With a broad smile, she agreed.

“Yes, let’s do it. Can we work it around our appointment tomorrow?”

“It’s going on at different times. We should be able to catch the three o’clock lesson,” Kayla said.

When they returned to the table, Ginger said, “Our appointment is from noon until two tomorrow, then there’s a class Kayla found we’d like to attend at three. Do you think you can entertain yourselves for a little while?”

“What kind of class?” Mitchell asked.

Kayla started to say, “It’s a bel—”

“It’s a dance class,” Ginger chimed in.

Evan narrowed his eyes at Ginger. “What kind of dance class?”

“Oh, nothing you’d be interested in.” Ginger smiled.

“It’s a free demonstration class in Ellis Square,” Kayla added.

“I’m sure y’all can find something to do around there, right?” Ginger asked.

“Bro, do you get the feeling they don’t want us with them?” Mitchell asked Evan.

“I’m getting that vibe, but I don’t know if Ms. Monroe understands that’s probably not going to happen.” Evan cocked an eyebrow.

Ginger narrowed her eyes. “Evan, no one knows we’re here. Surely I can do something where there would be a ton of witnesses if someone tried anything.”

  “We’ll see, darlin’,” Evan said.

  15

Would you help me?” Kayla asked, trying to reach her zipper.

“Leave it on,” Mitchell said as he walked up behind her and nudged her toward the door in their room that opened to the Savannah River.

Kayla stood between Mitchell and the railing of the balcony since there wasn’t much room. They watched the people walking below them and a large container ship coming into the harbor. Mitchell eased one arm around Kayla as the other lifted the back of her dress.

“With those shoes on, you’re the perfect height. Can you be quiet?” he whispered in her ear.

“Mmm, I’ll try,” Kayla said as she turned her head to look at him.

Mitchell had Kayla’s dress around her hips. “A G-string. That’ll make things easier.” Mitchell slid his zipper down then moved the string to the side before he eased into his heaven. He bowed his head and kissed Kayla’s neck while he moved slowly so their movement wouldn’t be noticed.

Kayla’s head fell back to rest on his shoulder. “Ahh,” she moaned and tried to arch her back for him.

“Shh. I don’t know how long I can last. This feels fantastic. Lean over the rail and look at the people below, but don’t scream.” He nudged her upper body forward as he held onto her shoulder.

“Mitch,” she quietly called as she shook from her release.

His thrusts grew stronger, more deliberate. “Fuck…” When he found his release, he pulled her to him and wrapped his arms around her. “Oh, Mak,” he said between breaths. His heart was pounding so hard he felt it in his ears.

Kayla’s arms held them steady on the balcony while they caught their breath. Mitchell pulled out and slid her dress into place before he tucked himself back into his pants. He tugged on her zipper. “Why don’t we get you out of this now.”

They turned to enter the stillness of their room.

“Gin, did you talk to the doctor this week?”

“Why? What do you have in mind?”

“Come here and let me get you out of this dress, now that I know where the zipper is,” he said with a sexy smile. Ginger stepped in front of him with a playful grin. “What did the doctor say, darlin’?”

Ginger tilted her head to look him straight in the eyes. “We can have oral sex as long as you don’t blow air into me.” Her face flushed.

Evan’s hands rested on her waist. “Wasn’t planning on blowing, but good to know.” He winked as nudged her right arm out of the way so his hand could move up to her breast to find the zipper. As he slowly tugged it down, he said, “I’m glad you wore this dress because I had flashbacks throughout dinner of the first night you wore it. I couldn’t wait to get back here.” By the time the last words left his mouth, the zipper was by her hip.

“I wanted to wear it once more before I start to show,” she said as Evan pulled the dress over her head. “So while you were having flashbacks at dinner, I was thinking about tonight.” She ducked her head.

  “What do you want, darlin’?”

“Oral sex by the door.” Ginger pointed to the door that opened to the river.

  “You read my mind.”

“With a twist…” She let the words die as she peeked under her eyelashes.

  Evan cocked a brow
. “Really? What kind of twist?” he asked as he took her shoes off.

Ginger’s face was flushed. “Well, um, I read this book called Seducing Cinderella by Gina Maxwell, and there’s this scene I’ve always wanted to try.”

  “I’m listening,” he said.

Her cheeks were pink, but her gaze remained on the floor. “I want to give you a blow job, but I want your hands on the doorjamb,” she quietly said.

“You don’t want me to touch you?”

  She shook her head. “No.”

Evan placed a finger under her chin and lifted her head up. “Why won’t you look at me? Are you embarrassed?”

She shrugged. “I’ve never told anyone what I want. No one has ever asked. You’re the first person who ever wanted to know.”

“I’ll agree on one condition.” He had her full attention. “You have to swallow every drop. And then I’m going to taste you for the first time in weeks, and you’ll come on my tongue. Deal?”

  “Yes,” she whispered.

As they moved toward the door, Evan removed his shirt then opened the door. “Grab a pillow off the sofa.”

Evan held Ginger around the waist and pulled her head to his. Their mouths met then opened to allow their tongues to meet in a ritual of love. Her bare back was to the river as his hands roamed up and down it. When she started to moan, he ended the kiss.

“On your knees, darlin’.” He guided her down to the pillow. Once she was comfortable, he unfastened his belt. She reached up to stop his hands before he opened the fly of his pants.

“Put your hands wherever you want them on the doorjamb. Let me do this.” Her eyes locked with his in a lustful gaze that made her pussy clench. He moved his hands to the top of the door so to anyone who could see he appeared to be a man casually looking at the river.

Ginger lowered the zipper and opened his fly then reached in and brought his cock front and center. With a lick of her tongue from root to tip, his body tensed, and the hiss that left his mouth caused her to look up. His jaw was locked and pulsing as his eyes watched her. She smiled as she opened her mouth to slowly take him inside never taking her eyes off him.
