The bus had stopped, and we hopped off of it, entering the hotel. As I entered my room clearing away the last of my belongings, I sat and thought about the future; my future. I wanted my future to consist of football, and I wanted to continue to grow and prosper with the National Team, and participate in the World Cup that would be coming up in 2016, hosted in Jordan. I walked down to the lobby with my luggage sitting down with the rest of my teammates. We all shared our good byes, but I knew practice would return soon. I had grown so close to my teammates and could basically trust them with anything. As I started to exit the hotel lobby, a ball was passed to me, and it hit the back of my foot. I turned around to see Sama smiling and giving me a thumbs up. I picked up the ball and stared at it for a while, and realized it was the Nike ball we had played with. I cracked a slight smile and at that very moment, I had known this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
Epilogue
Firstly, I would like to say thank you for taking the time to read my book. I put a lot of work and effort into writing it, and hopefully it made an impact on your life like I had planned. I would also like to thank my loving parents and siblings for supporting me throughout all the decisions I make, and for always being there for me when I needed them most. I would also like to thank my parents for always giving me that motivation when I felt like I had given up hope. I would then like to thank Miss Janet Jefferson, my first grade teacher, for always pushing me as a young child—it really helped me in shaping my personality and creating the person I am today. I would also like to thank the original team captain of the school team when I was younger, for giving me inspiration and advice in trying to chase my dream. I would like to thank all of my friends who have supported me in writing this book, and helped me along the way when I needed advice.
