“Me too.” She slid her hands to each side of his face, looked into his eyes, and thought that life would always work out the way it was meant to. For them, it was working out wonderfully. “I love you.”
He smiled. “I love you, too.” A year ago, no one could have predicted his happiness.
Stephanie’s lips brushed his very lightly and she whispered, “Déjà vu, Chaz.”
He squeezed her and laughed.
Maybe someone could have predicted it after all.
