His Choice, Her Decision Page 8

by Williams, D. C.

Wow, did I just sleep the entire trip? Reaching over to wake Sean, I tell him that we’re preparing to land.

Yawning, while buckling his seat belt, he asks, “Aiden picking you up or do I need to take you home?”

“Actually, Camille is picking me up. Aiden went to a bachelor party on last night.”

Looking out of the corner of his eye, “um hmm, hope he didn’t have too much fun last night.”

“Me too,” I say under my breath. Lord knows I don’t need any drama from that part of my life. “Our last night in the Bahamas was fun huh?”

Showing all whites, “that was fun! I don’t think you and I have ever partied that hard together.”

“No, I don’t think we have. I just realized that I actually acted like a twenty three year old without a care in the world.” Smiling to myself while processing my thoughts, “I’ve got to make it a point to have uncontrolled fun at least once a month.”

Raising his brow at me, “you do know that Terrance Scott is a professional football player, don’t you?”

“He mentioned it.” Sighing to myself, “we exchanged phone numbers.”

Now he’s sitting up in his seat staring at me. “Look sis, Terrance Scott isn’t someone you want to play around with. This guy probably has a honey in every state. He’s not the Brian type – he will get the cookies.” Sitting back and laughing while rubbing his hand down the back of his neck, “I can promise you, if given the chance, he will have you all laid up and Aiden will be the last thing on your mind. That’s how we men think. Judging by the way he was all over you on that dance floor, that’s exactly what he plans to do.”

Frowning at him, “shut up Sean! I will probably never see Terrance Scott again in this life. And for your information, I know how to take care of myself.”

Getting up from our seats, we exit the airplane. “Yeah, you can take care of yourself alright. And for your information, you will probably see Terrance Scott again because he’s playing here in Los Angeles.”

“And Los Angeles is how big?”

Shaking his head, “you never want to listen do you? Boy was all over you. Boy was checking you out. Boy knows who you are. Boy gave you his phone number. Boy wants the cookies. Does it add up now? He is going to definitely see you again. And your boy, Aiden, well he better be careful is all I have to say.”

“Okay, big brother, I get your point. Don’t worry, I’ll keep my cookies in a lock and safe.”

Laughing so loud, people are staring at us. “Lock and safe, huh. Okay, the only reason it’s locked and safe now is because Aiden is standing on guard duty. Eventually, he will take a break and Terrance will be standing on duty. That’s how this shit works. I’m just looking out for you.” Patting himself on the chest, “I’m guarding several cookie jars at the moment if you know what I mean.”

“Yeah, I know what you mean man whore!” Walking away from my crazy ass brother, I make my way over to baggage claim with him on my heels. “I’m not stupid Sean.”

“Hey, I never said you were stupid. I love you sis and I want you to be aware of what Terrance’s intentions may be good or bad. Okay?”

Nodding at him, “okay. I better get going, Camille should be outside waiting for me.” Turning to hug my brother, I know he means well and is most likely telling me the truth. “Love you Sean.”

“Love you too. Oh yeah, if you do hook up with Terrance, see if you can get me season tickets.”

Shaking my head and walking away, I yell over my shoulder, “yeah, if it happens that will be the first to do on my list.”

As soon as I exit the airport, Camille is just pulling up to the curb. What’s wrong with her, she looks a little disturbed. Opening the door, “are you okay?”

Hesitating to answer, “I’m fine, is that the only bag you have?”

Not convinced that Camille is telling me the truth, “this is it. Are you sure that you’re okay?” Putting my bag in the back seat of her Mercedes GL550 SUV, I climb into the front seat eyeing her. Something is definitely wrong.

“Sharon, I’m fine. Have you talked to Aiden at all this morning?”

“No, not since yesterday.” Oh Lord, what has he done now? I take a deep breath because whatever she’s about to say, I have a feeling it isn’t going to be good. “Why, did something happen at the Kevin’s bachelor party?”

Camille is rubbing her forehead as she’s navigating through traffic leaving the airport. “I don’t even know where to begin, Sharon.”

I’m going to strangle Camille if she doesn’t just spit it out. “Camille, just tell me what happened. It must be bad if you’re reluctant to just tell me.”

“There’s a viral video from Kevin’s bachelor party that’s been all over the television and internet since this morning with images of Aiden and some woman.”

My heart has just stopped. Trying not to cry, I say, “Aiden and some woman?”

Taking my hand trying to ease the sting, “Sharon, Sebastian was there and he promises that Aiden didn’t sleep with the girl but – you just have to see the video for yourself.”

“Okay.” Looking out the window, “I probably should be home when I watch it huh?”

“Yeah, you probably need to be home. I’ve haven’t seen all of it, but the media is blowing it up because apparently, it was a wild party and the video is explicit.”

Looking down at my fingers, I’m beginning to feel really nauseated. My phone is beeping signaling a missed call. Reaching into my purse, Aiden is calling. I need to see this video before I talk to him. My phone beeps again and this time it’s a text message:

Hey babe, just checking to see if your flight has landed.

I really need to talk to you as soon as possible. Please

  call me. Love you!

“Is that Aiden trying to contact you?”

Nodding my response, I close my eyes to try to calm my nerves. “Camille, we may have to pull over, I’m feeling really nauseated.”

“Sure, I’ll stop at the next gas station and grab you something to drink and some crackers to help calm your nerves.”

After stopping twice due to my bouts of nausea, we finally reach my house. Camille is following me into my home office. She seems really nervous. Turning on my computer, I type in Kevin Phillips bachelor party and numerous images are available to view. I keep searching until I find footage of Aiden. Finding what I’m looking for, I wait for it to load. Looking over my shoulder, Camille is pivoting from foot to foot and biting her nails, our eyes both return to the computer screen as we hear Aiden’s voice. He’s sitting at what looks like a bar wearing jeans and a sexy black fitted pullover sweater. From the current image, all we can see is the back of a woman’s head.

  “Who is that girl?”

We’re both leaning in trying to get a better view of the girl standing extremely close in between Aiden’s legs. Someone has probably called her name because she turns around and covering my mouth, I can’t believe my eyes, “oh my God, I know that girl!”

  Chapter Twenty Two

Tonight, Sebastian and I are going to Kevin’s bachelor party that’s being held at the Los Angeles hotel in Beverly Hills. According to Joshua, they’ve brought in professionals so a freak show is definitely expected.

Reaching the hotel, the suite is packed. Half naked women are all over the place. “Sebastian, you’re my conscience.” Placing my hand over my chest and giving him one hell of a choir boy look, “if you see me bowing to temptation, please help me.”

Laughing at my gesture, “will do man.” Scanning the room, Sebastian is looking for Joshua. “Damn, Joshua didn’t lie. These are professional women! Hell, you may need to be my conscience.”

“I knew it. You still have a little dog in you man. Shit, I was getting worried that Camille has you wearing panties behind closed doors.”

“Whatever, man. I was just joking.”

Laughing at our brief moment of brotherly bonding, we head through the crowd taking tequila shots along the way.
Yelling over my shoulder, “hey Bas, there’s the man of the hour over there by the wall.” Heading in Kevin’s direction, I’m stopped by some barely covered honey who’s gyrating her body around like she’s working a pole. Damn, freak on site!

“Come on man, she’s looking for her next baby’s daddy.”

Looking back at Sebastian, the cock blocker, I lean in to whisper in her ear, “maybe I’ll see you later baby, my body guard is blocking.” Sebastian is right, she looks too damn eager. “Are you going to block all night?”

“That’s my intention. You do remember Sharon don’t you?”

Rolling my eyes at him, “yeah, I remember Sharon.”

“See Aiden, you need to stop thinking with the wrong head. Besides, Camille knows that we came here together. Anything that you do wrong will be blamed on me – don’t mess up my home man.”

We’re at a bachelor’s party and this whipped fool is already getting on my damn nerves. Turning to point at him, “you should have kept your whipped ass at home!”

“Really, and you don’t think you’re whipped?”

  Frowning at him, “hell no!”

“Okay, keep lying to yourself. You’re whipped, you just haven’t realized it yet.”

“Know what, I’m going over to the bar. I can see that I’m going to need to be full if I’ve got to put up with your shit tonight.” Making my way to the bar, I am passing up some fine ass freaks! Damn, they’re fine!

“What would you like to drink, sir?”

Looking around the room at all the almost naked bodies that I most likely won’t get to enjoy with Sebastian’s ass hanging around, “give me something strong.”

Hell, I don’t know how long I’ve been sitting at this bar but I am drunk as shit. Where is Sebastian? I should have just stayed at home. I wonder what Sharon is doing. Reaching into my pocket for my phone to call her, there’s no answer.

  “Aiden, is that you?”

Turning to my right, I spot some girl calling my name smiling like she’s just won the lottery. “Yeah it’s me, do I know you?”

  “You honestly don’t remember me?”

What tha, “no, I don’t remember you. Should I?”

Shrugging her shoulders and shooting me this surprised look, “I would think that you would remember someone who you fucked senseless.”

Chuckling to myself, “baby, I fuck everybody senseless, what’s your point?”

Reaching between my legs, “well, I definitely remember this big, thick rod because afterwards, I couldn’t walk straight for two days.”

This is one bold bitch! Did she just touch my dick? “Yeah, I’m known to leave my conquests temporarily disabled.” She’s looking around like she’s up to something. “Are you looking for someone?”

“Um, no. It’s really loud in here.”

This bitch. Duh stupid, this is a party! “Yea, it tends to be loud at parties.” I need to get the hell out of here. “Hey, whatever your name is, it was nice seeing you again.” Getting up from the barstool, she grabs my arm.

“Are you leaving now? I was hoping we could go into one of the rooms to talk.”

Right, “go into one of the rooms and talk? Look, what’s your name by the way?”

“My name is Amy, I can’t believe you don’t remember me. I gave you some of the best head. Remember, even you said so yourself?”

“Look Amy, I don’t remember who you are and to answer your question, I don’t want to go into any room with you to talk because if I do, talking won’t be what we’ll be doing – believe that!”

“Your friend looks like he wants to talk.”

This girl is bold as hell. She’s holding onto my dick like she owns it. Eyeing the way she’s licking her lips – I think I do remember her ass. “Look baby, stop touching my dick like that. If you thought you couldn’t walk for two days last time, you can’t even imagine what you will experience this time. Pushing her hand away, “I’ve got to go.”

Trying her best to seduce me, she’s leaning in close, pinning me back to the barstool. “If you go with me to one of the rooms,” licking her lips seductively, “I’ll make it worth your while.”

Oh shit! Looking around for Sebastian, where is he? Trying to push her aggressive ass away, I realize just how drunk I am. Wiping my face, “Amy, I really can’t do this with you right now,” I’m cut off midsentence by Sebastian’s yelling.

“Man, what the hell are you doing?” Rubbing his hands up and down on his face he says, “hey lady, you’ve got to go! Man how you gonna let this skank freak you like that out in the open? Get your sorry ass up!”

Where was his sorry ass ten minutes ago? Sebastian has grabbed Amy by the arm and pushed her away like she was an old bag of garbage. “Shit, stop yelling! I was trying to push her away but she’s aggressive as hell and I’m drunk as hell.”

“Not only should I be yelling at you, I should kick your ass!”

“Man shut the hell up! This is a bachelor’s party. How many lap dances did you get while I was sitting at this damn bar?”

“I can’t have these tricks dancing all up on me and then go home to my wife. Are you crazy? Let’s get the hell out of here.”

Looking back over my shoulder, I see Amy laughing with another girl. “Yeah, let’s get the hell out of here.”

  Chapter Twenty Three

Wiping tears from my eyes, all I can do is sit here and stare at the computer screen. “Camille, where did this come from?”

“Sharon, I don’t know.” Placing my hand on her shoulder, I can only imagine how she’s feeling right now. Mumbling my next words because I’m sure after what she’s just seen, it isn’t going to make a difference, “Sebastian said that they didn’t sleep together. As a matter of fact, she was touching him not the other way around.”

“Were we just watching the same video? I know Aiden, he was turned on by what that girl was doing.” Lying my head back against my chair, “her name is Amy. He slept with her two years ago while we were in Dallas.”

“The audio isn’t that clear, Sharon. But from what I could hear, he didn’t even remember her name.” Walking around to the front of the desk to take a seat, I see that she’s really hurting.

“It just proves how stupid I’ve been to hook up with a man who treated that same woman like dirt right in my face and think that he’d treat me any better. He’s slept with so many women that he couldn’t even remember her name is what I heard.” God, I feel so nauseated. Staring down at my hands, “it’s over. I’m not doing this with him anymore. He may not have slept with her but he sure gave the impression that he wanted to by allowing her to fondle him like that.”

“Sharon, listen to me. Aiden is wrong as shit for allowing that to happen but in his defense, he was drunk. And he did appear to be trying to push her away. To be honest with you, it seems like a set up to me.” Placing both my hands on the desk, “how is it that there’s all this footage of different men at a bachelor party that’s gone viral?”

Closing my eyes, I shrug my shoulders, “who knows, it could have been. But Aiden is responsible for himself. If that had been me, he would be going bat ass crazy.” Getting up from the desk, “all I know is that I’m done with this whole relationship.” Pointing at the computer screen, “this is being aired for all to see, including my family.” Reaching down to turn off the computer, “I’m hungry, want something to eat.”

Watching Sharon walk out of the room, I get up to follow her. I dare not say this to her but she’s put on some weight in the hips. Trying to lighten the mood, “how was your parents anniversary in the Bahamas?”

Smiling, “it was so much fun!” I say with excitement in my voice. “Ronnie’s wife, Michelle, is now in our click.”

Taking a seat at the island, “really, how did that come about?”

Laughing, “You know Rhonda can’t hold her tongue right?” Camille is nodding at me like, yeah, I know. “Well, we were at lunch and she opened up to us about Ronnie wanting to file for a divorce a
nd why she got pregnant to get him to marry her. It’s a huge mess.”

  Oh shit. “What?”

“Um hmm. Well, long story short, she said that she always kept to herself because Ronnie’s trifling ass told her that Rhonda felt that she wasn’t good enough for him and some other crap, I was a little tipsy so a lot of the conversation was lost. Anyways, I’m glad that we worked everything out so that we can move forward.”

“Wow, you ladies had an “interfamilyition” she says, using her fingers to quote interfamilyition.

Holding my head back to laugh at her attempt to be funny, “I guess you could say that.” Going through my refrigerator and pantry, “Camille, I don’t have anything here to cook but noodles.”

Frowning at me, “noodles? Well, they were good enough for me in college. Okay, I’m game for noodles.”

Sitting down in the den to eat, we talk about everything but Aiden. He’s been calling my cell and home phone non-stop since we arrived. I’m sure he’s passed by my house and has seen Camille’s car in the driveway. “Do you know who Terrance Scott is?”

Leaning back with her eyes all wide, she screeches out, “hell yes, he is one fine bunny! Why do you ask?”

“Camille, you’re silly.” Smiling as I talk, “he was in the Bahamas with a couple of his frat brothers.”

  “And?”

“And, I met him on last night at this bomb club.” Falling back on the floor, “he is so fine!” Smooching out my lips and nodding my head, “bunny gave me his phone number!”

Smirking at me, “he gave you his phone number. Stop stalling and give me all the details or were you tipsy then too?”

“Ha, ha”, I say to her. “No, I wasn’t tipsy at all last night.” Sitting up and leaning my back against the sofa, “Sean and I went to this bomb club that was located on the resort. I don’t think we were there ten minutes and Terrance approached me.” Camille loves a good story. She’s all wide eyed and smiling at me. “He introduced himself and from there, we just talked. But then, the music started getting good so we danced. And he can dance – Lawd have mercy, he can dance!”

Nodding her head with smooched lips, “you know what they say about a man who can dance. My baby can dance, so I’m a witness.”
