By signing up, I’ll also be able to keep you up to date on future releases.

As always, I’d be grateful if you’d leave a fair and honest review of this book on Amazon or Goodreads. Independent authors need reviews to help spread the word, so your help in this area would be deeply appreciated.

Thank you, dear reader. If you have any comments, including, but not limited to, what you really liked or hated, make sure you let me know. I’m available at [email protected].

I always enjoy getting your emails, so go ahead and make my day a little brighter.

  Author’s Notes

Writing is a lonely and solitary process. But to get the story from me to you – well, that takes a few more people. So here is the roll of honor:

Abigail, for sacrificing exam revision to diligently work through the manuscript. If she enjoys the story, I know I must be doing something right. She’s going to have to get less attached to the characters, though. It’ll only hurt all the more if they meet an untimely demise.

Monica English, the newest member of the team, for her help in editing and educating me on the differences between British and American English. Because of her, the American characters now sound far more American. We also shared an enlightening exchange of information on the subtleties of British and American profanity. There’s much work to do here, and I’m sure that our idea to hold an international conference to reach agreement on issues of cursing will eventually bear fruit.

Once again, Chrissy and Alisha at Damonza for their patience and help with design and formatting. There’s no point having a good story if it’s so badly formatted that it’s painful to read.

These people did a great job. Any mistakes or problems that remain are entirely my responsibility.

And one final time, as has already been said, thanks to you, dear reader. As Meatloaf so eloquently put it: if it wasn’t for you, there would be no me.

As said on the previous page, but just in case you missed it, if you’ve got any feedback, good or bad, then drop me an email at [email protected].

Have a great time. We’re not here for long.
