Spencer's Face (Buckeye Hawks) Page 22

Damn. If I would have thought about that, I could have stopped him. I didn’t know what to say.

“I told you Taylor won’t have sex with you.” He preached.

I stuttered. I couldn’t think of anything to say. “A guy can hope.” I said finally.

“Damn. You’re having sex with Taylor. Aren’t you?” he asked me. He staggered back to the bed and sat down on it, as if he was having trouble believing it.

I didn’t answer him. I felt like apologizing for some reason. I’m not sure why. Maybe it was the sad expression on his face. Maybe he thought he still had a shot with her. I wasn’t sure what was going on.

“Is she good?” he asked quietly.

“I…” I stopped. I really didn’t want to talk about our sex life.

“I guess I know the answer to that one.” he said.

“I love her.” I tried to ease his pain.

He nodded. He was taking the news hard for some reason. He sat on the bed staring at the floor.

“What’s going on, Zane? Were you still hoping you had a shot with her?” I asked him. I knew I was skating on thin ice asking him about his feelings for Taylor.

“No. I just didn’t think she’d…” his voice dropped off.

“Sleep with me.” I finished his sentence for him. That had to be what he was thinking. Why me, when she had so many other choices, including him? I wondered that myself, often.

“No. Not just you. With anyone. I thought Taylor would hold onto it until the day she married someone.”

“I’m glad she didn’t make me wait that long.” I laughed, trying to make light of the situation.

  --

Taylor’s competition was in December, so she got ready for her trip to Boston. It was her first plane ride and she was excited about that. I wasn’t excited to see her go. I had to do without her for a week. We texted often, and she called often. But the week was miserable for me. It was hard because Taylor was having so much fun in Boston without me. When she called, she wanted to tell me how much fun she was having. And I wanted to tell her how much I missed her. We were in exact opposite moods. Her team actually placed in nationals when it was all over. I knew they would. And, the entire town celebrated to see them on television.

Taylor answered interview questions to the news crew. She even told the entire world that I was her boyfriend. She tossed it in at the end of the interview. The other girls started saying hi to their boyfriends, but they were cut off. The television cameras caught several really good shots of Taylor in their routines. I taped the whole thing and watched it a few times. She was amazing on the mat. Her whole team was amazing, but she was definitely the best one on the team.

The cheerleading squad was definitely the big deal on campus when they returned. A few freshman girls even asked for autographs. The school had a big assembly for them and presented them with a trophy of their own, and the businesses around town gave them some cards they could use for free food and stuff like that. Taylor took it all in stride though. It never went to her head. The good part of her competition being over was that she was free all the time now.

We went back to spending every waking minute together. It was like we never missed a beat. She had missed me as much as I missed her, I think. A new guy started to school after she returned from her cheerleading competition. I was sure that Taylor loved me, but it seemed to me that she liked this new guy too. She was in the office when he checked into school. She walked out with him and introduced him to the group. She seemed eager to please him and impress him. That pissed me off.

When Taylor came walking up to Senior Pole with the new guy to introduce him, she was bubblier than usual. “Hey guys. This is Ryan. He just started school here today.”

Ryan was tall and blonde. I could see the girls’ heads turning already. They had to check out the new guy. I was jealous to say the least. Last year, when I’d started school here, I’d gotten the same first looks. But that’s all I’d received. I didn’t get all the second looks he was getting right now. At least not in the same way. Everyone looked my way to check out my birthmark. Everyone was looking his way to check out his body.

Everyone said hi to him and welcomed him to our school. The girls had to find out all about him. He came from New York. He played football and basketball. Damn. That meant he’d be going out for the basketball team. Taylor would be cheering. I needed to sign up to try out too. This guy was being way too nice to Taylor.

“Taylor, can you tell me where History is?” he asked her, being overly polite.

I knew it was a ploy. I could always tell when a guy wanted more than directions. Taylor still hadn’t introduced me as her boyfriend yet. I wondered what she was waiting on. Was she falling for this guy? Was I about to lose her?

“Zane has that first period.” She said, then pointed at Zane to introduce him.

“I’ll show you where it is.” Zane offered.

Taylor grabbed my hand, then led me away. We walked to our make out hole where I kissed her for a minute.

“So…Ryan seems like a nice guy.” I said to her. I wanted to get her take on him. I’d heard too many comments on his physique already.

“It’s hard being the new guy. You remember how it was. Don’t you?” she chastised me, then kissed me.

She went to History, while I went to Calculus. I worried about her the entire hour she was in History. I wondered if she was sitting next to Ryan, helping him out with his work. I walked over to History after class. Sure enough, she was walking out with him and Zane. They were laughing and talking. That didn’t upset me, but the way he was looking at her, did upset me. He was checking out her body and making it way too obvious.

I walked up and put my arm around Taylor. She kissed me on the lips as we turned toward my English class. “Hey, I told Ryan that you’d show him the way to English.”

  “Sure thing.” I told Taylor.

She was making an effort to tell me that she still loved me and mostly that she wasn’t interested in Ryan. I led Ryan to English class, even though usually I walked with Taylor since her Shorthand class was right next to my English class. She must have gone to the bathroom. I’d meet her after class.

“So, you sure have a hot girlfriend.” Ryan said to me as we walked to class together.

  “Thanks.” I told him.

“She must be incredible in bed.” Ryan said.

So much for the choir boy act he was portraying in front of Taylor.

“I don’t kiss and tell.” I told him frankly. I’d never had the chance to kiss and tell before, but now that I had it, I wasn’t going to take it. I wanted to shout it from the rooftops in one way, but in another way, I wanted to keep my sex life with Taylor as secret as possible. It wouldn’t feel special if I told everyone I knew.

“Aren’t you afraid someone will steal her away from you?”

“Not at all. She loves me. Nothing will ever come between us.” I told him. “So don’t even try.”

He looked at me taken back by my statement, then a smile spread across his face. I knew that smile. I’d seen it a few times from the other guys to know it really well. He was telling me he wasn’t going to listen to my warning.

After English, we met up with Taylor. I grabbed her around the waist and kissed her really well. I was trying to let Ryan know that he didn’t have a shot in hell of stealing her away.

“I’ve got Chemistry next, Taylor. What do you have?” Ryan asked her as I was snuggling up close to her.

She pulled away to answer him. “I have Chemistry too. I’ll show you where it’s at.” She kissed me really well before she walked away with Ryan.

Damn, I hated this. He was still making a play for her. Taylor thought he was all sweet and innocent too. There was no telling what was going on in Chemistry right now. He was probably making all kinds of moves on her. I needed to have a talk with him, warn him that I wouldn’t stand for this.

After my History class, we usually did lunch. I’d bet money that Rya
n somehow invited himself to lunch with us. That would piss me off. We usually went to the parking lot to make out and play. I’d hate to actually have to eat lunch instead of making out with Taylor. I waited at Senior Pole for Taylor. A few minutes later, she walked up with Ryan by her side. They were laughing and talking.

“So, how does lunch work around here?” Ryan asked Taylor.

“It’s an open campus. You can go anywhere you can get back from in forty five minutes.” She explained.

  “So eat fast.” Zane added.

“What do you two do? Can I join you?” Ryan asked both of us.

  “No.” I answered quickly.

Taylor gave me a look that told me she thought I had the manners of one of their cows at the dairy.

“Oh. Okay.” Ryan said as if his feelings were hurt.

I knew it was an act to get sympathy from Taylor.

“Sorry. We usually go make out. That’s not a group activity for us.” Taylor answered him.

I smiled as I pulled her closer to me. “We should get going. We only have forty five minutes.”

  We walked off.

“Thanks for not inviting him along.” I said snidely to Taylor.

“Three’s a crowd.” She chuckled. That cute little chuckle.

“You know he’s trying to come between us. Don’t you?” I asked her as we stepped into her car.

“There’s not going to be any room between us in a minute.” She said, laughing.

“Seriously. You’ve got to know that he’s after you.” I said as I drove to the parking lot.

“I’m taking care of it. Let’s not make a big deal out of it. Nothing is going to come between us. I promise.”

I parked Taylor’s car and stepped over the console. She shifted to the side until I was in the passenger seat, then she sat on my lap. We had this procedure down. She immediately started kissing me. She’d worn a short skirt today. She did that a lot lately. It made having sex in the mornings a lot easier. She didn’t put on panties until after sex every morning. At lunch, I had to move them aside to slide my fingers inside her. We only played during lunch, there wasn’t enough privacy to actually have sex here.

I pushed and pulled my fingers inside her as we made out. As always, we pleased her first, then it was my turn. Boy, was she pleased today. My hand was really wet. “I love it when you come like that Taylor.”

“Me too.” She laughed at me, then stepped off of me and sat between my legs on the floorboard. “Your turn.”

“What are you doing?” I asked her. I was still really heated.

“I want a better view.” She teased me, as she unzipped my jeans and pulled out my swollen cock.

Oh boy. My heart jumped. I loved it when she put her mouth on my cock. She was so good at oral sex, so good at sucking, and playing. I watched as she licked me up and down several times. Then she went down on me. I never could hold out too long after she started with that. The first time, she didn’t even get all the way down once. I was getting better. Practice makes perfect. She went up and down several times, exciting me to no end. Then she started licking again. One more time in her mouth, and I was done. She pulled back just in time.

“Taylor, you are getting too good at that.” I told her.

“I intend to get a lot better.” She teased me. “You make me so happy. I want to return the favor.”

I laughed at her as we slid our clothes back into place. She jumped over the console to drive us back to school.

On the way to auto shop, I ran in to Ryan. Joy.

“So, Zane and I saw you in the parking lot. Alone.” He said snidely.

“Alone?” I asked him. What the heck was he talking about? Oh. “Taylor stepped out to buy a Coke.”

“Sure she did. I know that look on your face. I’ve had a few blowjobs in my time. You are one lucky guy, Spencer.”

I didn’t say anything at first. I couldn’t figure a way out of this one.

“He knows it.” Jose stepped in to the dressing portion of the garage and stripped off his jeans.

“Damn. She gives BJs and sex.” Ryan said to Jose as if they’d bonded already.

“She didn’t give me sex of any kind.” Jose said.

“You had a chance with her, dude?” Ryan asked him as if he was impressed with him. “Where do I stand in line to be next?”

“There’s no line. I’m last.” I warned him.

“I did. I blew it.” Jose said.

“You blew it completely when you tried to rape her.” I said to Jose, growling at him.

“Tried to rape her?” he asked Jose. “That’s not cool, dude.”

“I wasn’t trying to rape her.” Jose said then walked off to his project car.

“So, which team are you on?” I asked Ryan, trying to change the subject to anything except Taylor.

“Mister Gutson said I was on yours. I’m ready when you are.” He said saluting me in mock.

“It’s over here. The Chevelle.” I led him to our car.

Ryan was a nice guy when he wasn’t trying to steal Taylor away from me, or asking too many personal questions. I didn’t like sharing any details about Taylor with him. I didn’t want him knowing anything about our sex life. I knew that some guys bragged about sex with other girls, but I wasn’t going to reduce Taylor to that kind of talk ever. She was way too special to me. I loved this girl with everything that I had inside of me.

After auto shop, I walked to Senior Pole to meet up with Taylor. We always met up and made out for a few minutes before my Chemistry class. It had become a ritual between all of our classes almost. Today I walked up to the pole to find Ryan standing in front of her, holding his arm above her head, leaning in on her. He was way too close for me.

I walked up to them. Ryan smiled at me. Taylor ducked under his arm and wrapped her arms around my waist.

“Spencer, Ryan just reminded me about the Christmas formal.” She said to me, smiling. “You are going with me. Aren’t you?”

I kissed her. “It’s one of those girl’s choice dances. Isn’t it? I don’t know. No one’s asked me yet.” I asked her, teasing.

  Ryan stepped back.

“You’re my choice for everything.” She said as she kissed me on the lips for a few seconds.

We walked to one of the make out spots. We stayed there for a few minutes making out.

“You do want to go. Don’t you?” she asked me, pulling away from me a little.

“If you want to go. I’ve never been to a dance before.” I told her.

“Then we have to go. I need a new dress. Do you have a suit or a tux?” she asked.

“I have one.” I told her. “Are you sure you want to go? There’s going to be pictures, and the yearbook photographer will be there taking snapshots.”

  “So?” she asked.

“I don’t like my picture taken, Taylor.” I told her.

“What? Why?” she asked in disbelief.

“My face.” I confided, keeping my voice low. I felt like I could tell her anything.

“Spencer, I love your face.” She told me, rubbing my face, then kissing it. “I’ve always loved your face. I want you to take me to the formal. Please.”

I couldn’t refuse her. I didn’t believe that she loved my face, but she did make me feel better about it. There was no way she could love it, but I appreciated the effort to make me think so. “I’ll take you, but you’ll need to teach me how to dance first.”

She laughed. “Tonight, I’ll teach you.”

At my house, Taylor went inside. We put on some music in my bedroom. She taught me how to slow dance first. That was fun. I liked holding her close. She was a great teacher, with great moves. I felt like I would do okay on the floor.

The night of the formal was pretty intense. I fully didn’t expect to have fun, but I was actually looking forward to taking Taylor out, while she was all dressed up. I put on my suit, and grabbed the corsage that my aunt had bought for me. Todd gave me his car keys, and rushed me out th
e door. When I arrived at Taylor’s house, she was waiting for me inside the door. So were her parents and her five sisters and one brother. Oh boy. I didn’t much care for crowds.

Her mother had to take several pictures of us together. Her sisters and brother all looked on and made all kinds of comments about how great we looked. It was a big deal apparently. Taylor was beautiful. She had on a hot pink shiny dress that didn’t quite go to her knees. She was sexy as hell, showing more cleavage than usual, and her jewelry and her hair made her look like a princess. She was all smiles, joking and laughing the entire time as her mother snapped pictures.
