More Than A Four Letter Word Page 10

by Smith, Stephanie Jean

Randle tried to be interested in her hard luck story. Women expect way too much from men. Men are not monogamous by nature. He couldn't think of settling for one woman when there were millions of women out there just waiting to be sampled.

When Randle didn't respond to her lure, she figured that he already knows way more about her life than she does about his. She wondered what it would take to get Randle to expose his hand. "Moving to Chicago is the best thing that happened to me. After selling my company, I packed my bags and haven't looked back." Randle raised his head for the first time since his food arrived.

"You know what I don't understand. Why did you sell such a profitable company? Maybe you just didn't have what it takes to stay in the game. The gamer world is not an arena for the soft or weak. Being a woman, I'm surprised you lasted as long as you did."

Just as, Clarissa suspected, he knows more information about her than he originally lets her believe. Come to think of it, she is the only one who seemed genuinely surprised when Randle bumped into her at Julian's party. Did he actively seek her out?

"Yeah I took Rosscom for a pretty penny; imagine my surprise when Julian offered me a job on the same day." Randle swallowed his food too fast an almost choked. So, he didn't know everything about her, including the fact that Julian actually hired her.

"Julian Ross must have been impressed with your resume. He scooped you up rather quickly. I wonder why a wunderkind like you would be content to work as a security analyst. They're a dime a dozen."

"Rather like salesmen; I mean I have never even heard of a Director of Sales executive position before. What did you have to do to swing that job?"

Randle gave Clarissa a shrewd glance; he almost forgot that she's not as dumb as she looks. No matter she's a woman and didn't have a clue to his real purpose in Chicago. He would have to find another way into her computer lab. "Sorry to cut this evening short Clarissa. I'm not feeling so good; I think I need to head on back home."

"No problem Randle, I'll take my dessert home." Clarissa watched Randle with narrowed eyes as he went to the cash register to pay for dinner. He walked back to the table sticking his wallet in his pants, after zipping his jacket he pause briefly as if he would say something, but changed his mind. He didn't say another word or walk her to her car. "Have a good night Randle. I hope you feel better."

Randle waved at Clarissa wondering if he had made a colossal mistake by inviting her to dinner. Instead of making her relax, he probably made her suspicious. He got in his car and hit the steering wheel; Clarissa was too smart for her own good. "Bitch!"

  Chapter 10

Clarissa arrived at home a little after nine o'clock. She unlocked her door shrugged out of her jacket and hung it on the coat rack by the door. She tossed her purse on the table next to the door. She experienced a brief wave of fear as she notices the open curtains. Julian standing there staring out the window facing Lakeshore Drive as if he owned the world. Darkness filled the room with only the moonlight casting shadows, but she would recognize his silhouette anywhere. He has the starring role in her lustful dreams for the last five months.

Julian isn't angry. He knew Clarissa too well to assume she would seek out another man. He has been waiting in her condominium for hours trying to decide the best course of action. "Did you enjoy your date?"

She turns on the lights in the living area as he turned to face her. He's wearing the same suit from this morning sans the tie. Clarissa expected a reckoning, but she thought she would have until tomorrow before she has to deal with Julian. "How did you get into my home?" She walks further into the room refusing to be intimidated by him.

He looked at his watch and is pleasantly surprised that Clarissa arrived home sooner than he expected. "With my security background, breaking into your condo is easier than it should have been. I followed your neighbors in and picked the lock. Remind me to have someone install a new lock on your door." He studied her face looking for any weakness and not finding one. "I'm glad you have the good sense to cut your date short. I sure would hate to beat a man within an inch of his life for having the temerity to date my woman."

Clarissa snorted in disgust. "Your woman indeed. I went to dinner with a friend. Is that what you were expecting? You think that I'm such a slut that I would go from you into the arms of another man?"

Julian regarded her with heated eyes; they needed to discuss the parameters of their relationship. Right now seemed as good a time as any. "You're not the type of woman who would use jealously as a means of keeping her man in line. However, I wouldn't put it past you to tease the lion at your own peril." He took off his jacket and draped it across the loveseat. Then he unbuttoned his shirt while walking towards her.

Clarissa swallowed several times. Julian looked hell bent on showing her that he's the boss. She holds her hands out in front of her as if she could ward him off. "Julian today has been pretty rough, and I'm not in the mood to tame a lion tonight." She didn't want to, but she found herself backing away from Julian. His eyes were heavy lidded with lust, and she could see the ever-expanding lump in his crotch.

"Take off your clothes Clarissa. I'm going to show you what I had planned for you tonight before you decided to deny our relationship by going out on a date. I may be a possessive man, but I'm not insane. I realize that you have friends and family that I'll have to share you. However, I won't let you hide behind them when you refuse to deal with the reality of being my woman."

Clarissa sucked in her breath. "Reality Julian. What is the reality of fucking the boss, or should I say consequences?" If anything, baiting him makes him move a little faster. Before she knows what hit her, Julian braced her against the wall. He quickly pulled the turtleneck over her head and unsnapped her bra.

Julian hoisted her up, and she immediately wrapped her legs around his waist. He looked into her eyes; he could see anger and desire. This morning she gave herself to him without holding anything back. Now she was afraid that she couldn't trust him to love her the way she deserved. He understood that, and it was the only thing keeping him from paddling her ass. He held her tightly against the wall letting her feel his large erection.

"You're my lover. My woman. I won't let you deny what's between us. I claimed you as mine this morning, and there's no going back. I know how to give you everything you want, everything you need. Right now, I'm going to give you what your body's begging for, and it won't be a quick release. You spoiled my plans for this evening when you ran from me, and that's just something I will not tolerate."

Clarissa didn't want to hear him talk anymore. She pulled his head close to hers and kissed him with all the passion stirring within her. Julian decides to take over the kiss by prying his tongue into her mouth forcing her tongue to mate. He tasted of whiskey and cinnamon. She moved back from his kiss determine to have her say. "Show me what it feels like to be your woman. I want the full experience, not just a quickie in my office."

Julian growled deep in his throat. He carried her to the last room down the hall, when he received no protest from her, he assumed he got the bedroom right. Clarissa reached around him and flipped on the lights. He barely noticed the decor; his only focus is to enter the gates of her sweet, hot body. He let her body slide down his as he pushed her back against the bed. He pulled off her boots and yanked off her panties and jeans. As she lay there on the bed, legs spread wide open, his gaze riveted on her pretty pussy. She touched herself baiting him to claim her. There is nothing more beautiful than a woman getting herself off.

"Are you wet for me baby?"

"Yes." Clarissa whispered. "I've been wet for you all day."

Julian snatched his shirt off dropping it on the floor. He pulled handfuls of condoms out of his pocket and tossed them on the bed. He smiled at the lift of her eyebrow. "I'm a man on a mission, stuffing ten condoms in my pocket seemed reasonable at the time." He toed off his shoes and removed his socks before letting his pants and jockeys join the rest of his clothes on the flo
or. "The way I feel right now, we'll end up using every one of them."

Clarissa never breaks eye contact with Julian. She pinched her nipple with one hand as the other rubbed her clit hoping that he would take over and make her come. "I really wish you would quit talking and start showing me some action."

Julian brushed both of her hands out of the way. He ran his thick, rough fingers down her body enjoying her soft skin. He plucked her nipples before making a trail down her flat stomach. Her skin is hot to the touch, and he knows that the same heat is emanating from him. "Can any other man ever make you feel this way?"

"No!" Clarissa becomes glassy eyed with desire. Her eyes ran lovingly over his broad shoulders, muscular form, and the extremely large appendage waving in front of his body. His cock is generous in both length and girth. She didn't get a chance to look at him this morning, and she genuinely liked what she's seeing. The pre-cum wetting the tip of his bulbous cock makes her want to take his cock into her mouth. He kneels between her legs taking his time exploring her body with his lips and tongue. When he sucked on the arch or her foot she tried to move, but he held her still.

"I'm going to do what I didn't have time to do this morning." He lifted her legs over his shoulders as he continued his tour of her body. He spent an inordinate amount of time nibbling her inner thighs. Julian knew he was driving her crazy with desire, but she deserved it for not trusting him to fulfill all of her needs. "My pussy is so beautiful."

Clarissa grinned at him. "Your pussy? I'm quite certain it belongs to me."

Julian shook his head in the negative. "My pussy. My ass. My breasts. My thighs. Every inch of your body belongs to me. There will never be another man for you Clarissa I can promise you that." He buried his face between her legs, his long tongue exploring her gaping hole. He licked her slit until she thought she would pull his hair out

  "Julian, please!"

  "Please what?"

  "Please fuck me!"

"Sorry baby I can't do that just yet. I want to explore all of your hidden depths." He spread her labia and licked her chocolate petals before diving into the real treasure of her pink cunt. He lapped, kissed, and nibbled her until she screamed her release and he still isn't finished.

Julian worked two fingers into her tight hole, frigging her as his lips clamped down on her swollen clit. She begged him to let her come, but wouldn't stop stroking her. He backed away from her squirming body and ripped into a condom, rolling it on his thick erection. He spread her right leg out and lifted her left leg over his shoulder giving him the perfect angle. He thrust his cock into her pussy, and she damn near lifted off the bed pressing back against him.

"Be still, this is my show tonight. You have to realize that you will never get this from another man." Julian pulled out and thrust back inside her. He isn't going to give her the quick fucking she's demanding. He skewered her pussy with his cock back and forth until she pushed up against him. He knows that it's time to quicken the pace.

Clarissa matched Julian thrust for thrust. Both of their bodies were slick with perspiration from their furious lovemaking. "I'm almost there Julian! Almost there." Her orgasm shook her like nothing she ever felt before. Julian followed shortly, chanting the whole time that she belongs to him.

Clarissa's alarm went off at five in the morning; she pounded the snooze button with the palm of her hand. There's no way it is time for her to get up. She sits up in her bed momentarily disoriented until she remembered her hot night with Julian. She didn't hear Julian leave, so he must still be around. He ears perked up when he opened the bathroom door dressed in yesterday's suit, with his hair still wet from the shower. "Good morning Julian."

Julian hated to leave her, but he has to get home and see his son off to school. "I hope I didn't wake you up."

"No, you didn't wake me up, that's the job of my evil alarm clock." She couldn't contain the lust that still simmering in her body. Julian makes love like a man obsessed, he put her in every position known to man, and she still wanted more. He walked towards the bed, yanking the covers down exposing her breasts. He bent down, kissing her thoroughly while palming one of her breasts.

"I have to go baby. I make breakfast for Micah and take him to school whenever I'm in town."

"I understand Julian. I respect you even more. I would never be involved with a man who isn't up for the challenge of being a parent."

Julian gave her another quick kiss for the road. "Most women wouldn't be so understanding."

"I'm not most women and judging by the women you've been with, I dare to say that I'm several steps above them. Clarissa grabs her nightgown from the bottom of the bed and quickly covers her body. She crawls out of bed, entwining Julian's hand with her hand and walking him to the door. She opens the door and gives Julian one more kiss for the road.

  "Maybe we could have lunch."

  "I would like that."

"I'll call you later with the details.

Clarissa shut the door after Julian's departure. A long soak is just what she needs. She goes back to her bedroom when it hits her that she might be in love with Julian. How would she ever be able to protect herself from him? Did she want to hide her love from him?

Usually Ivan Roth, Julian's head of security didn't meet with him; however, Randle McHale was a peculiar case. "You do have people watching him around the clock."

Ivan caught up with his security texts as Julian reviewed his findings on Randle McHale. "Of course, what I don't understand is why you just don't tell Miss Marks your suspicions regarding McHale. He has taken the bait and has come looking for the tracker; eventually he'll make a move on her."

"Randle is Clarissa's old high school friend if I tell her my suspicions she would react differently towards him. At this stage, I want him to feel that his true intentions haven't been discovered. We have an idea that he's behind Lacey Hamilton's death, but we have no proof. We still need to flush out his accomplice in Washington."

"Why didn't Harlan just conduct the investigation under proper government channels? Miss Marks is an exceptionally bright woman. What happens when she puts the puzzle together? She's certain to recognize your handy work in the mix. She realized that you were responsible for sending the photographs of her fiancé. How do you think she's going to feel when she finds out that you used her like a pawn on a chessboard?"

Julian gives Ivan's question serious consideration. "Clarissa is certainly not a pawn, she's my queen. She's the most valuable piece of the puzzle. I am counting on Clarissa to uncover the information from Lacey's virtual hard drive. The real question is why Randle McHale would go through all the trouble of looking for the tracker unless he and his partner haven't completed their assignment. By the way, Clarissa is spending Easter weekend in Orlando; I want you to put a security detail on her."

Ivan crossed his legs, leaning back into his seat. "I'm surprised you're not going with her." He tried to keep the smirk off his face. "Don't tell me that you're afraid to meet her family?"

"Micah and I already have plans for Easter weekend with my aunt and uncle. However, I have a feeling that a meeting my future in-laws is on the horizon."

Clarissa couldn't help daydreaming about her night with Julian. While crossing W Adams Street, a car coming out of nowhere bumped her, knocking her off her feet. She's a little stunned, but commuters passing by helped pull her out of the street. She walks through the lobby of Rosscom and goes directly to the women's restroom on the first floor to clean up. Her pantyhose were shot, her shoes scuffed up, and her knees were scraped; otherwise, she's okay.

Clarissa cleaned her scrapes as best she could and went on with her day. With her coffee in hand, she trudged down the hall to her office. The incident is quickly forgotten as her attention focuses on the project she's been working on for the last week regarding the scientist from the EPA. Lacey Hamilton's team is responsible for testing soil and water samples for toxic chemicals. According to the fil
e, she notified her direct report regarding samples from several companies. Before Lacey could meet with her superiors, she died in a car crash.

It is Clarissa's job to find out which companies have something to hide. "Well that shouldn't be difficult," she said to herself. She digs further and finds out that Lacey Hamilton has a team of twenty scientists. She has access to Lacey's virtual hard drive; unfortunately, there were hundreds of detailed files regarding Lacey's findings. Is it possible that someone murdered Lacey Hamilton to keep her quiet?

What did Lacey stumble into that cost her life? "Let's see, what would a large manufacturer fear from a scientist of the EPA?" It could take days or weeks to go through Lacey's files. It should be easy enough to ask her team members about her current projects. Clarissa bit her lip. If it were as easy as asking Lacey's team members, she wouldn't be working this project. Lacey could have been betrayed by one of her team members.

Clarissa was thoroughly intrigued with her new assignment and lost track of time until she received a call. "Hello Clarissa Marks."

"Hey sweetheart, are you ready for lunch."

"Is it lunch time already?" Clarissa looked at her watch; sure enough, it's after one o'clock. "Sorry Julian, I lose track of time when I'm in the zone. Do you want me to meet you in the lobby?"

"Come up to my office, we're having a catered lunch today."

"Okay I'll be right up." Clarissa went to the women's restroom before leaving the floor. Julian's office space is vast. First, there were no other executives on the floor besides Julian, his secretary Marie, and her assistant. Both Marie and her assistant were absent from their desks, so she walked right into Julian's office since he's expecting her.

"So what's on the menu?" The expression on Julian's face caught Clarissa off guard. It seemed as though he were upset. She didn't hear anything in his voice when she spoke to him minutes ago that would lead him to this present state. "Julian's what's wrong?"
