Running over to the painting, Melody now knows that her eyes are not deceiving her. The frame is leaning almost imperceptibly away from the wall.

Just as Melody had reminisced at the Howling Dog, her father used to place clues behind paintings in their own house when they played treasure hunt.
Melody reaches behind the wooden frame and pulls at something at the back. A small piece of paper comes away in her hand. She looks down at it.
