The bride was radiant as she walked down the aisle on her father's arm. The wedding was perfect, planned by a wonderful planner, whose son, Brandon, served as the ring bearer.
Family and friends joined with them in celebration. Cassie and Alan, who were now engaged, stood up with them.
The family of Pamela Thorndale came from Iowa to attend the festivities, as did Agent Nickerson and some of the officers they had met in Tennessee and South Carolina. The name of Hannah Stone Jones was well-known, thanks to the news media. Police departments all over the country were aware of the cases she'd helped solve.
The 'gift' she had been blessed with no longer felt like a curse. She accepted the position with the FBI and looked forward to starting her job when she and Chad returned from a trip to Hawaii.
As the newlyweds prepared to leave for the airport, Hannah caught a glimpse of another couple waving to her from a distance. She smiled as she returned the greeting, knowing that Pamela Sue and Robert were celebrating with them.
