Cameron and Alex each wore light cotton pants and shirts that were just dressy enough so they didn’t appear too casual, but not so formal that they’d look out of place standing in the sand. They, too, wore sandals.
Nina walked hand-in-hand with them, following Manny, the hotel staff member who had worked with them over the phone and by email to set up this ceremony. The night was clear, perfect, and filled with stars. She couldn’t stop smiling, and was even more excited when she saw the cordoned off area.
Flanked by large candles and lanterns, it reminded her of a scene from an old-fashioned movie. A canopy topped the area where the Wiccan practitioner waited for them, and flowers decorated the poles holding up the canvas. Nina couldn’t have designed it better herself.
She gave their hands a squeeze as they approached. The woman’s name was Desiree, and she asked them to stand in front of her, with Nina in the middle. The only other person there was Manny, and Cameron asked if he’d like to stay to watch the ceremony. He said he’d be delighted to and stood off to one side.
Desiree shook each of their hands, and then she spoke in a clear voice that gave Nina shivers because of its conviction and joy. “Nina, Cameron, and Alex, you have come together this night to exchange vows of love and commitment to each other. Let this ceremony be a statement of what you mean to each other and the commitment of marriage you will make.”
She glanced at each of them in turn. “Nina, Cameron, and Alex, you have chosen to incorporate the ancient Celtic ritual of handfasting in your wedding ceremony tonight. Handfasting is a declaration of intent that you are marrying of your own free will. The promises made today and the ties that are bound here greatly strengthen your union and will cross the years and lives of each soul’s growth. Do you seek to enter this ceremony?”
Nina, Cameron, and Alex answered “yes” in unison.
“Cameron, please move next to Alex, and Nina turn sideways so that you face them both and can look into their eyes. Cameron and Alex, look into Nina’s eyes.” Cameron moved next to Alex. “Now, Cameron extend your right hand and Alex extend your left. Nina, take the hands of each of your men.”
Nina had to blink back tears, but they were tears of joy. They joined hands, and Desiree continued. “Nina, will you share in Cameron’s joy and laughter, and look for the brightness and the positive in him? Will you share in his pain and in his burdens so that your spirits may grow in this union? Will you share in his dreams? And will you take the heat of anger and use it to temper the strength of this union?”
She smiled into Cameron’s eyes. “I will.”
“Will you share in Alex’s joy and laughter, and look for the brightness and the positive in him? Will you share in his pain and in his burdens so that your spirits may grow in this union? Will you share in his dreams? And will you take the heat of anger and use it to temper the strength of this union?”
Alex winked at her, and her entire body trembled with the amount of love overflowing inside it. “I will.”
“Cameron, will you share in Nina’s joy and laughter, and look for the brightness and the positive in her? Will you share in her pain and in her burdens so that your spirits may grow in this union? Will you share in her dreams? And will you take the heat of anger and use it to temper the strength of this union?”
He smiled. “I will.”
“Alex, will you share in Nina’s joy and laughter, and look for the brightness and the positive in her? Will you share in her pain and in her burdens so that your spirits may grow in this union? Will you share in her dreams? And will you take the heat of anger and use it to temper the strength of this union?”
Alex nodded. “I sure will.”
“Nina, you may release their hands and place the ring on Cameron’s finger.” She did, and then Desiree told her to place the ring on Alex’s finger.
“Now you both may move Nina’s rings to her left hand.”
They laughed softly as both tried to move the rings to her other hand without dropping it. Once they had their rings in place, Desiree told them to join hands again.
“These rings are a symbol of your commitment and love to each other. Wear them in joy and in pain, and may they always remind you of this night. Cameron, will you honor both Nina and Alex as equals in this union?”
“I will.”
“And so the binding is made.”
“Alex, will you honor both Nina and Cameron as equals in this union?”
“I will.”
“And so the binding is made. Nina, will you honor both Alex and Cameron as equals in this union?”
“I will,” she whispered.
“And so the binding is made.” Desiree wrapped a silk cord around Nina’s and Cameron’s wrists and a second cord around Nina’s and Alex’s wrists.
“Nina and Cameron, and Nina and Alex, as your hands are bound together now, so your lives and spirits are joined in a union of love and trust. The bond of marriage is not formed by these cords, but rather by the vows you have made. For you will always hold the fate of this union in your own hands. Above you are stars and below you is earth. Like stars, your love should be a constant source of light, and like the earth, a firm foundation from which to grow.”
Nina swallowed hard as fresh tears stung her eyes.
“May these hands be blessed this day. May they always hold each other. May they have the strength to hang on during the storms of stress and the dark of disillusionment. May they remain tender and gentle as they nurture each other in their wondrous love. May they build a relationship founded in love and rich in caring. May these hands be healer, protector, shelter, and guide for each other.”
Desiree smiled. “Nina and Cameron, and Nina and Alex, by the strength of your own love, I pronounce you married. You may seal your vows with a kiss.”
Cameron kissed her first, and then Alex, and then Manny and Desiree each gave her a quick hug. The guys shook hands with Desiree and Manny again, and then the four walked back to the hotel. Nina couldn’t speak. She had no words. She was married to the two men she’d loved once, long ago, then lost, and then by the miracle of a blizzard had found again.
Their life couldn’t possibly get any better than what this perfect night had given them.
Chapter Four
When they returned to their suite, a bottle of champagne and three glasses, inscribed with the date and their names, was on the table near the doors leading to the patio. Three vases filled with lavender and cream-colored roses were on the same table, compliments of the hotel staff. There was also a note indicating the staff had placed a plate of chocolate-covered strawberries in the fridge.
Nina twirled around with her arms spread. “I don’t know what to do first. I’m so happy!”
Alex picked her up off the ground and spun her around again, laughing with her when she begged him to put her down because she was dizzy. He kissed her, and she wrapped her arms around him, melting against his body.
When he released her mouth, he moved aside so Cameron could kiss her, and then she asked them if they were as happy as she was.
“Oh, babe,” said Cameron, “I couldn’t say much back there because I swear I was going to cry.”
“Yeah, same here,” said Alex. “But dudes don’t cry, so you know…”
She giggled, then strolled over to open the champagne while Cameron opened the fridge. “Well, if you had I’m sure Desiree and Manny wouldn’t have minded.”
“Yeah, but we would have,” said Cameron. He placed the strawberries on the table and took a glass of champagne from Nina.
She poured one for Alex and then one for herself, and lifted hers. “To us and to our wedding anniversary.”
Cameron drained his glass, then he gave Nina a wicked smile. “What was that you said last night about sex on the beach?”
She laughed and drained her glass. “Did I say something about it? I can’t recall.”
Alex gave her a droll look and drained his glass, too. “Right. Sure you can’t.” He kissed her
, sending shivers up and down her spine. He was her husband now. He and Cameron both were. She could barely wrap her mind around the concept.
When he released the kiss, she sighed at the look of love and lust in his eyes. “I do believe I love you more now than I did an hour ago.”
That voice! She’d always loved their voices, but now Alex’s sounded more tender and filled with love than she’d ever heard. “This is real. I’m married to both of you.”
Cameron was next to her now, gently stroking her hair and back. “It’s real, babe. You have two husbands who absolutely adore you.”
She glanced around the suite, then peered out onto the patio. No one had been out when they’d walked back, but there had still been lights on in the suites next to theirs. Still … it was quite dark out there, and as long as they stayed on the patio, they might not be seen.
Before she lost her nerve, Nina turned off the lights in the great room. If they had candles, this would be more romantic, but she didn’t want to go in search of them now. She pulled off her dress and then stepped out of her sandals and panties.
Smiling at her husbands, she stepped toward Cameron first and unbuttoned his shirt. He tangled his fingers in her hair and made soft, sexy noises in the back of his throat, and then she pushed the shirt off his body.
Behind her, Alex wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close enough for Nina to feel his erection. “What’s your plan, babe? Are we staying in here?’
“No. I want to go outside.”
“We need candles,” said Cameron.
She laughed softly. “I love it when you two read my mind. Do we have any?”
“Be right back.”
Nina turned and removed Alex’s shirt, gazing into his eyes. The light on the outside wall that illuminated the patio was enough for her to see the depths of love in Alex’s eyes, and her heart nearly burst from joy.
When Cameron returned he was naked, and he carried a jar candle that he’d already lit. “We’ll need to turn off that outside light, too.” He strolled over to the switches on the wall and turned off the patio light, then Nina helped Alex out of his pants, underwear, and sandals.
Alex cupped her face. “You sure about this? We don’t want you doing anything you’re not entirely comfortable with, especially not tonight.”
“I suppose it would be the worst luck to get arrested on our wedding night,” said Cameron.
“I’m sure about it,” she said. “We won’t be arrested. I doubt we’ll even be seen.”
Alex nuzzled her neck. “Might be more fun if we are seen.”
“You’re so kinky. I love it.” She took a deep breath, staring at the doors which separated them from the privacy of their suite with the walkway to the beach outside. Fuck it. This was her wedding night, her husbands wanted this fantasy, and she did too if she was being completely honest.
Nina opened the doors and stepped out into the warm night air, breathing in the scent of the ocean. They still had this entire night and five more days on this beautiful island. But tonight would be the one she’d remember the clearest because of what they were about to do, and because of the ceremony less than an hour ago.
Cameron and Alex were behind her, sliding the doors closed again. “It’s not exactly a quick sprint to the beach, is it?”
“Not really,” she said. “Especially when you’re naked.”
“We could get dressed again and walk out to it,” said Alex. “Maybe we’d find a secluded spot?”
“Too risky,” said Cameron. “There are buildings for at least half a mile in both directions that face the ocean. He sighed, glanced around, and then snapped his fingers. “I have an idea.”
When he went back inside she glanced up at Alex. “Now what?”
Alex shook his head. “No clue. Just humor him.”
Cameron returned, wearing a pair of khaki shorts and carrying one of the large pans from the kitchen. “Be right back.” They watched as he jogged down the trail that led to the beach, but lost sight of him after a few moments.
When he returned, his grin was huge. “We can’t go to the beach, so I brought it here.” Cameron dumped an entire pan full of sand onto the patio, and Nina and Alex laughed. Though it didn’t cover the whole slab, Nina and Alex deemed it a wonderful idea.
Cameron stepped inside the suite, shed his shorts, and placed the pan on the table. Then he came out onto the patio and pulled Nina into his arms. “It just occurred to me that it won’t be very comfortable having sex on a cement slab.”
“I got this.” Alex went back inside, and when he returned, he carried one of the comforters from a bed they hadn’t yet used. He spread it out over the sand. “There. Now we can have sex on the beach. Or, rather, the pretend beach.”
“It’s perfect,” said Nina. “Absolutely perfect.” That these two would go to so much trouble to give her a fantasy made her heart sing with joy. She kissed them each, alternating, as the three slid down to the comforter. It was still hard underneath, but she didn’t care. She wasn’t going to stop this now, not after they’d gone to such lengths to make it as romantic as possible.
The candle flickered in the corner, casting shadows against the wall, but her focus was on Alex and Cameron, their muscled bodies, and their incredible mouths. She was lost in a sea of familiar and decadent sensations as they touched her, licked her, and used their fingers to bring her to orgasm.
When they took turns fucking her pussy and her mouth, she lost track of who was where and what position she was in. It didn’t matter. Her husbands were making love to her. If she could, Nina would stay out here on this patio, with the comforter covering a pan full of sand underneath them for the rest of her life.
When she’d come more times than she could count, and each man had finally climaxed, they left the comforter outside, blew out the candle, and crawled into bed. Nina melted into Cameron’s arms in front and against Alex’s body behind her, perfectly sated, content, and more in love with both men than she’d ever been.
She had never imagined being married to one man let alone two. She had never imagined finding Cameron and Alex again after the lonely and painful three years she’d spent thinking they had hurt her and used her. And she had certainly never imagined living with them or exploring kinky new ways to pleasure them. She had never imagined working side by side with them or enjoying them both so much that they would become her entire world.
They were her whole world now, and Nina couldn’t be happier about that. She was married to them, and they loved her. She would now spend every day for the rest of her life making sure they both knew how very, very much she loved them in return.
