City Lights (Satan's Sinners M.C. Book 1) Page 20

by Kay, Colbie

"I told you, Gunner's mom. She has kept me updated on you, and when she said I had grandbabies, I wanted to see them. She told me that your father died along with Rider a few years ago."

"So, why did you wait until now?"

"I had to get the courage to face you again."

"You said you was never in love with dad, why did you marry him?"

"I think at one point, I had strong feelings for him, but my heart was always with someone else. So I stayed until I couldn't take it anymore."

"Did you remarry? Have any more kids?"

  "No, Hanger. I didn't."

"Well, that's all I need to know. You can get the fuck out now."

"I'll go, but here's my number. Just in case you change your mind and want to talk." I grab the number out of her hands and she walks out the door.

"Baby." I look at Zoey and see the unshed tears in her eyes.

"Crazy Girl, don't cry. I'm surprised the babies slept through all that."

We both laugh, I give her a hug and kiss her forehead.

"Hanger, I just wanna say I don't know what happened with your parents, or the situation but I know a little bit about being in a relationship that you don't wanna be in."

  "I know you do, Babe."

"All I'm saying is she is your mom, Hanger. She’s the only one you will ever have, she is the grandmother of our children. Will you at least promise me, that you will at least think about calling her?"

"Yeah, Babe. I promise I will think about it."

  "I love you, Hanger."

"I love you too Crazy Girl."

We have had the girls at home for a month. It’s the night they are supposed to take down the Italians. I’m lying in bed I can’t fuckin' sleep because I know my guys are taking care of club business. Here I am layin' in bed with my Ol’ Lady and not out with them. It’s in the early hours of the morning, when we get the call, Gunner's been arrested on gun charges.

  Three years later...

I'm standing outside of the fence with the barb wire across the top at the state prison. It's been three years since I’ve seen my best friend and Vice President Gunner. After he got arrested and all the court hearings, he ended up having to do 2 1/2 years in prison. I've missed him, the club just hasn't been the same without him. Hacker's been my stand in VP while Gunner's been away. I see him walking out the front door, he hasn't changed other than bulking up, by the looks of it.

"Hanger. Brother you are a sight for sore eyes." He says with a big smile on his face as he walks up to me.

"Hey, Gunner. It's so good to see you again man." We do the whole man hug, slaps on the back.

"It's good to see you too. I’m finally fuckin' free."

"Yeah you are. Time to get back to business."

"Fuck yeah it is. Let’s get the fuck outta here." We head to my truck and hop in.

"What was it like in there, they treat you right?"

"It was fuckin' lonely, I stuck to myself. People didn't fuck with me once they seen my tats and learned who I was."

  "Damn right they didn't."

  "How is everybody?"

"Everybody’s good. Demon got patched in not to long after you went away. He's the new treasurer, Ghost also got patched in Anthony, Chasyr, and Romeo are still prospecting."

"How is it with Romeo? What happened with the Italians?"

"Romeo is workin' hard to get patched. You boys did good that night. The Italians finally got taken out."

"Fuckin' Finally. How's Crazy Girl and the girls?"

"Shit man, they are great. The girls will be three soon and spoiled as fuck." I laugh because damn right I spoiled my princesses. "Crazy Girl, is the same. She’s crazy as ever. We had a son last year his name is Damien."

  "Congratulations, brother."

  "Thanks."

  "How was the wedding?"

"It was good. I wish you could of been there." It was beautiful just like my Crazy Girl but I won’t tell him that. I'd sound like a fuckin' pussy.

  "Me too, man."

"She pissed all the guys off." I start laughing.

"How'd she manage to do that?"

"Fuck man, she made us all wear tuxes. Said that it was her day and we couldn't wear our cuts, said they wouldn't look right with the shit she made us wear. Then the music starts and here she comes walking out looking beautiful with her make-up and hair done. She gets around the corner in her white dress that clung to her tight little body she was fuckin' beautiful. Once she’s in view of everyone at the end of the aisle she looks at the wedding planner, and the wedding planner gives her her cut, she puts it on and wears it down the fuckin' aisle." He busts out laughing.

"Shit man, that's funny as fuck. That's Crazy Girl for ya. God I missed the crazy shit she does."

"She’s missed you too Gunner. We all did. It ain't been the same without you brother."

"Did you ever end up calling your mom?"

"Yeah, I did. It took Zoey about six months of talking to me for me to finally do it. I was so fuckin' pissed at her. Then we started meeting up and talking we got a good thing going now. She actually came to the wedding and she walked our girls down the aisle helping them throw flowers."

“That's good shit man. I'm glad shit's going good for you." He has a sad expression on his face.

"Hey, you'll be good. Just give it time, get your life going again."

"Yeah, I know I just...shit. Hanger, being in there, I had a lot of time to think about things and I thought a lot about what I want."

"Then go for it. Go get what you want. Fuck you deserve it Gunner."

"Yeah, I don't think it'll be that easy Hanger." He stops talking and stares out the window. It's quiet for the rest of the ride back to the clubhouse. Once we pull up we get out I see my girls running around, Zoey is holding Damien. There's a woman talking to Zoey, she has her back turned to me with long blonde hair, I can't see who she is.

"Hanger, who is that talking to Crazy Girl?"

"I don't fuckin' know, I don't recognize her." As we get closer I say "Crazy Girl, who you talkin' to?" She grabs the woman by her shoulder and turns her to face us.

All I can say is “Wow!” Life has been a journey the last four years. We have had a lot of good times, along with a lot of bad times. Hanger has been so good to me. We couldn't be happier, the girls will be three soon and they are so happy. Hanger got his wish we had a boy a year ago, he was so fucking happy it was a boy. He loves his girls, but we were taking over the house and now he's not the only male anymore. I got my wish too, Hanger gave me the love I always wanted, the love that the songs and books are written about, but I think it's so much more than that. This is real, our love, our life is real and I fall in love with him more every single day.

All the guys are good. I won’t tell you about my sister or Jacey. They wanna tell their own stories. I’ve kept in contact with Chatty since she left. She's been good but no plans on coming back, that I know of. I think about her all the time though.

Gunner got in some trouble, had to do some time in prison, all the lawyers said it was best that none of us had contact with him while he was away. So that’s what we all did, I miss him, we all do. So that brings us to today, we are at the clubhouse having a BBQ Gunner is getting released today, Hanger went to go get him. The girls are outside running around, I made the guys put in a play set so it’s more kid and family friendly. I'm holding the baby when I look up, and see a woman walking towards me. At first I don't recognize her, but the closer she gets "Oh My God! Chatty!" I run up to her and throw my free arm around her, she wraps her arms around me and Damien hugging both of us.

"Hey, Crazy Girl it's been awhile. How are you? You look good and who is this little guy?"

"Chatty, your back. I’ve missed you. I'm good, this is Damien, and the girls are over there.” I point over to my girls. “That’s Ava on the left and Harper on the right. You look so different, your hair's blonde now. You look so good, Chatty. Are you back for good?"

  "I missed
you too. Yeah, I think so, we will have to see. They are beautiful, Crazy Girl, all three of them. My cousin Tinsley brought me back. She'll be back in a little while."

"Okay, I can't wait to meet her." I see Hanger and Gunner walking up. Hanger has his eyes narrowed, he's trying to figure out who she is. He's gonna be so happy to see her. "Chatty, don't turn around." I whisper to her, I'm smiling.

"Crazy Girl, who you talking to?" Hanger asks, with the most confused look on his face.

"Oh, just an old friend." They get right up to us, I take her shoulder and turn her around, and she’s smiling. Hanger looks like he's in shock when he sees her face, then I see the smile start to form on his face. Then he wraps her in his arms and hugs her, it’s like a sister that’s been missing from all our lives. "Chatty, it's good to see you."

"You too, Hanger." All the while her eyes never leaving Gunner. He's just looking at her, he looks like he might be in shock to see her, then he says "Chatty?" He says it like a question, like he can't believe she's really here. They continue to just look at each other. I look over to Hanger and he is looking between the two of them, with a curious look on his face,

"Hey, Gunner." Huh? I wonder what's going on there.

A few hours later, I have all the food ready and on the picnic table. I made so much fucking food, the girls helped me, shit it's good to have us all back together again. Chatty's cousin Tinsley is so nice and she is beautiful. She fits in with us perfectly. Everyone sits and eats, I look around at all of us. This is the first time we have all been back together in over three years. I feel an ache in my chest from all the love I have for these people, for them taking me in and caring for me when nobody else did, them accepting me with no questions asked. These guys may be bikers, they may do bad things but they have the biggest fucking hearts of anyone I know. After we eat, Gunner plays with the girls for a while and Chatty holds Damien until my parents comes to pick them up.

Once the kids are all gone, everyone heads inside to the bar. I look to Chasyr. "Get us a round of shots, please."

  "You got it, Crazy Girl."

"I just wanna say, Gunner and Chatty I'm so happy you guys are back! I missed you guys so much! We all did!" Everyone claps and stomps their feet. "Now! Fucking drink up!" Everybody laughs, then we tip back our heads and down the shots. The guys getting single barrel, while the girls got Tennessee Honey. The music starts up and us girls go to the floor all dancing. Thank god there's none of the fucking whores here tonight. They start bringing me Blue Moon. Yes, it's gonna be a good crazy night.

A few hours later I'm a bit tipsy "Who's up for a game of sixes?" I get a room full of ‘Yeahs!’ So we play, we get the cups set up and grab the dice.

By the time it's over, I think we are all shitfaced, I know I am. I look around, I don't see hardly anybody. Where did everybody go? So I walk up to Hanger.

  "Hey, Baby."

"Hey, Crazy Girl. How ya doin'?"

"I'm great. Let’s go to our old room." I give him the best sexy grin I can.

  "Alright, let's go."

Once we get in the room and the door is shut, we start ripping clothes off. He gives me a hard, breathtaking kiss. Then he goes for my neck biting, licking and kissing working his way down to my breasts. Taking one nipple in his mouth sucking hard, and the other pulling and rolling in between his thumb and finger. Then switching, runs his hand down my body until he gets to my pussy, he pushes two fingers inside. With his head in the crook of my neck he says "Even after all this time, you are still always so wet for me, always so ready." I throw my head back moaning, while he fucks me with his fingers. It doesn't take long before I'm screaming out "Nico."

He doesn't give me time to recover before he picks me up and my legs wrap around him. I feel him at my entrance, then in one hard quick thrust he is inside me. “Fuck. Crazy Girl, you feel so good." I'm up against the wall Hanger holding all my weight, as he pushes in and out of me. "So do you Baby. I'm gonna cum again." He is slamming into me, so fucking hard, hitting my g spot, bringing me to another amazing orgasm. A few hard thrusts later he growls into my neck "Babe." I feel him let go inside of me. Then he carries me over to the bed and lays me down. He crawls in beside me, bringing my body right up against his. "I love you, Crazy Girl."

"I love you too, Baby, so much." He wraps his arms around me and sings the same song he sang to me the day we got married Justin Timberlake's Until The End Of Time, and just like since that first night, we slept together. We fall asleep me feeling safe and protected in the arms of the man I love.

We wanted to say goodbye since this is the end of our story, but it's not the last you will hear from us. We wanted to say that we hope you loved our story as much as we loved telling it.   I have been where Zoey was. Her and Andrew's relationship is real to me so I took my experiences from a past relationship and put it in this book. I was lucky enough to make it out but not everyone is.

I live in a small town in Kansas. I am married with 3 kids and have a full time job working in a nursing home. I have always loved reading and after a hard day at work I would sit back, relax, and get lost in my book world. I had ideas of writing but never tried it until one day I said I should do it. So I did and these characters took on a life of their own. I fell in love with all of them. I'm not sure yet if they all will have their own book, but a lot of them will. Enjoy! Love, Colbie Kay
