What the hell are we going to do with the stupid little shack and worthless land that Grady came home to unload then ended up saddled with?
Why did Tommy try so hard to get that property, anyway? Were we being played? Did he trick us into buying it out from under him, and is he now laughing through his smashed-in nose at the albatross we’ve burdened ourselves with? Was this Tommy’s hot deal — the one he needed a fake wife and fake kid for, to impress someone? I’m not even sure if Grady ever heard back from Bridget, who’d seemed to have the answers. If he thinks of it now, maybe he’ll ask her.
I don’t really care.
For the first time in my life, it feels like I have no cares because I know that everything will be fine, one way or the other.
But the minute Grady reenters the room with the phone clutched in his fist, I know something is wrong.
“What is it?” I ask, feeling my heart rate increase.
Grady’s head slowly shakes. “Brandon was at the police station when I called,” he tells me, his face drained of color. “He says that Bridget is missing.”
To be continued in Trevor’s Harem, coming February 2, 2015 …
Find out what happened to Bridget in the Trevor’s Harem series!
The main Inferno Falls series continues with book 4, but between the book you just read and that one I’ve written a sideways series to answer readers’ burning question from the end of The Second Chance: What happened to Bridget? Where did she disappear to?
The answer and more is revealed in the 4-book Trevor’s Harem series, a tale of romantic mystery that kicks off with the first volume: The Burning Offer.

Stuff You Should Know
Cliffhanger!
That’s right. Nobody sees them coming, just like the Spanish Inquisition.
I’ve got a lot more in mind for Inferno Falls, and will be releasing book 4 and more in the main series starting in 2016. Those books will be a lot like these first three books. And honestly, you could probably just skip right to book 4 from here if you wanted, ignoring the cliffhanger and passing up the sideways series that answers the pressing question at the end of The Second Chance: What happened to Bridget?
But who would want to do that? I sure wouldn’t. I think you should keep reading, and not skip anything because then you’ll miss all the juicy stuff. :)
I like to write a few different styles. I like to write some stuff with a lot of drama. And I like to write some stuff that’s spicier than these books have been so far, too. So the sideways series I mentioned — called Trevor’s Harem, which starts with a book called The Burning Offer — scratches those itches for me and for readers who like the same sorts of things. It’s a really, really cool romance series. Addictive. You’ll read one, than be unable to stop reading until you’ve finished all four.
I don’t want to say too much about Trevor’s Harem just yet, so I’ll just give a few hints:
A rich guy.
A private compound.
A competition.
And lots of people in their 20’s who should know better and stop behaving so … so wrong.
Anyway, you can think of Trevor’s Harem as fitting between books 3 and 4 in the main series. They’re like Inferno Falls books 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, and 3.4. Sorta.
