“Condoms are in the drawer. I want to put it on you.” He bent and opened the drawer of a bedside table. He had trouble breathing he needed to come so badly. He tore open a pack and threw the foil on the table. He kissed Blake’s lips and then rolled the condom onto his lover’s dick.
Blake sighed as the condom covered his cock. “Fuck, your hands on me just about drive me nuts.”
Alex snatched up a tube of lube. He coated his palm with it and then lathered it onto the condom. “Just fuck me hard. I can come like that.” He lay on the bed.
Blake knelt beside him. He dotted kisses across Alex’s chest and down his stomach. Alex gasped as Blake grabbed his cock, and sucked again. He pushed his hand between Alex’s legs until Alex opened them. Blake cupped his balls in a strong hand as he sucked.
Alex moaned. “Blake … babe…”
Blake kept Alex on his back and took hold of his own cock. He trailed it on Alex’s balls and down to tease at his asshole.
Alex bent his knees and levered his ass up. He grasped the quilt. “Fuck me…” His voice came out hoarse and thick with desire.
Blake pushed his cock into Alex’s ass. He grabbed the huge cock that stood leaking between them and held tight as he fucked Alex fast and hard.
Alex lay with sweat beading on his forehead. His cock throbbed and pulsed as Blake pumped. A place between his legs thrilled with sensation. The nerves in his ass sent streaks of pleasure up his balls into his cock. His orgasm ripped over him and he threw his head back trying to breathe. He bucked and groaned as Blake thrust up hard and stilled moaning loudly.
Blake slumped and rested his hands on Alex’s hipbones. He heaved a breath. He lifted one hand and licked along it.
Dazed with pleasure Alex dimly realized Blake licked cum from his fingers. A shock of sensation waved through his ass and balls. His cock throbbed. He lifted his arms to have Blake in them.
Blake slipped his cock from Alex’s ass and crawled to lie beside him. He kissed where his face landed on Alex’s neck.
Alex turned to face Blake, and pushed his arm around him. He kissed Blake’s lips and tasted cum. His cock slid against Alex’s stomach. Blake’s condom covered dick slipped across Alex’s hip.
Blake sighed. “I’ll get rid of the condom.”
Alex reached across him to the table. He brought a box of Kleenex onto the bed. “I’ll do it, babe.” He wrapped Blake’s cock in tissue and slid the condom off capturing the cum inside, and then he made a parcel of the item with other tissues. He patted Blake’s cock with a tissue and enjoyed how it made Blake laugh. He threw the package onto the bedside table and lay beside Blake.
“I don’t really want to go out now. You’ve made me mellow, but I’m kinda hungry. Shall we order in?”
Blake traced his fingers up and down Alex’s arm. “Was it the window cleaning that built these muscles?”
Alex grinned and pulled Blake’s head to his for a kiss. “I work out, too. Not too much, but I like to be strong.” He couldn’t add that his other and now prior activities needed strength, too. Dashing around on rooftops required stamina.
“What will we order in?”
Alex relaxed against Blake. “I know a great Italian place.”
Chapter Ten
Alex collected their clothes the next morning as Blake showered. He’d put coffee on and he stacked Blake’s clothes on a stool by the breakfast bench.
Blake joined him just as he poured coffee. He wore a towel around his waist.
Alex handed him a mug of coffee. “Are you sure you don’t want breakfast?”
“I’m a little late. I have a client meeting.” He took a sip of coffee. “Mmm, good coffee, thanks.”
Alex waved a hand at Blake’s clothes. “You know we’re almost the same build if you want to borrow a clean shirt or shorts…”
Blake stepped close and offered his lips for a kiss. “Hmm, you’re a little more muscled. Anyway, it’s okay I have spares in my office. I have a shower room, too, remember?”
A little throb of pleasure made Alex’s cock thicken. “I do remember. We’ll do that again soon. It was fun. Is this another pro bono client you’re meeting with?”
Blake pulled on his clothes. He left his tie hanging around his open shirt collar. “No. This one’s a paying client.”
Alex wanted to know more about what happened with the kid who he suspected had picked up the painting he’d discarded. “You never told me much about the kid from the alley.”
Blake drank some more coffee. “Yeah. He turned out to be a nice kid. Loves art, and wants to go to school to study it.”
This sparked Alex’s interest. “Is he … going to school I mean?”
Blake shrugged on his jacket. “He can’t fund the tuition. Pity.”
Alex gave Blake a look full of sympathy as he considered this. He went to his lover. “Call me later, babe. We’ll meet for dinner. Is that okay?”
Blake ran his hand along Alex’s jaw. He kissed him softly. “You know it is.”
Alex showed Blake out of the apartment and padded in his bare feet the two flights of stairs to the building entrance with him. He watched Blake leave with a pleasure-laden sigh, and then he ran up the stairs, and called his accountant. He could do something about the kid’s tuition.

Two weeks later—
Kathy rang through to Blake’s office. “Blake, you know that young man you helped beat a charge of theft a couple of weeks ago? He’s sent us a thank you card.”
Blake smiled even though she couldn’t see him. “That’s nice of him.” He was about to end the call when she continued.
“The thing is he’s thanking us for arranging the fund for him to go to college and study art. Did you do this?”
A frown creased his forehead. “No, but it’s great that’s happened. I have no idea who did it.”
Kathy made a small sound that Blake took to be approval. “I’m glad it happened for him. Odd though that he thinks we had something to do with it.” She ended the call.
Blake put down the handset. He gazed into the room for a few seconds. That’s so cool… He went back to working.
When Alex came around to his place late that evening, he told his lover.
Alex sat close as they waited for the game to start on TV. He took Blake’s hand. “I’m glad to hear it.”
Blake laid his head on Alex’s shoulder. “There’s still kindness out there, huh?”
Alex slid his hand on Blake’s thigh and settled closer. “There is.”
“Are you still enjoying your new work?”
Alex kissed Blake’s head. “It’s not like work at all. I love it.”
Chapter Eleven
Summer passed sweet and warm as Alex spent time at Blake’s apartment and then Blake took a turn staying with him, until they both agreed they needed to choose a place where they could live together.
Blake stood on the street outside the house on Riverside Drive. He pushed a few chunks of gravel that had strayed from around a tree, with the toe of his boot. Alex was late to view the house with him. He liked the house. It would accommodate them both well. There was a little garden out the back, and a patio. Blake imagined having dinner out there with his lover on warm summer nights. He’d read the specifications on the internet several times, and was convinced this would be their home together.
Alex ran up. “Sorry, I’m late.” He leaned close and kissed Blake quickly before he turned to the house. “I like it so far.” He looked the town house up and down with a smile.
The real estate agent must have been looking out for Alex to arrive and meet Blake. She appeared in the doorway and beckoned to them. “Come in, gentlemen.”
Blake’s hopes grew as he wandered around the house.
Alex gave him an encouraging glance as they descended the stairs. They stood in the living room. Alex leaned close. He spoke softly in Blake’s ear making the usual exciting tingles shoot down his neck. “I love it, babe. Let’s make an offer.”r />
Blake’s heart leapt. He smiled at Alex. “I love it, too.”

Six months later
Blake was late getting home. Fatigued, he opened the front door and dropped his briefcase on the hardwood floor as he walked in.
Alex’s jacket hung on the hall hooks.
A surge of happiness and tenderness rose in Blake. It was always so good to come home to his lover.
He pulled off his overcoat and aimed it at the hooks. It just caught on one and Blake wandered into the living room.
Alex popped his head around the archway that led to the kitchen. “You look tired. Come here.”
Blake went to him.
Alex turned him around and massaged his shoulders. He pulled Blake against his stomach and leaned to kiss Blake’s neck. “There’s food. There’s whisky if you’d like a drink.”
Blake twisted around in Alex’s arms. “Sounds great. Did you cook?”
Alex grinned. “Hell no, you know the food I make is inedible. I picked it up from the steakhouse.”
Blake followed him into the kitchen and leaned against the counter as Alex poured whisky into two glasses and then brought plates from the oven. He picked up his glass and sipped. As the liquid heated his throat and relaxed him, he noticed a dark blue envelope on the opposite counter.
Alex passed him carrying the plates to the table in their dining alcove.
Blake followed bringing Alex’s drink and his own. “Alex, what’s in the envelope in the kitchen?”
Alex put down the plates and gave him an enigmatic smile. “I’ll get it. It’s for you.”
Blake placed the whisky on the table and followed Alex. “For me. Who’s it from?”
Alex had the envelope in his hand. He held it out to Blake.
Blake pulled the unsealed flap out of the envelope and looked inside. He brought out the card and a shock of surprise made him gasp as he saw two gold bands threaded on a ribbon and attached to the card. Blake raised his eyes to Alex and saw tears glisten in his blue eyes. He read the card in a rush.
“I love you and want you in my life forever, Blake Aster.”
Tears welled in Blake’s eyes. He couldn’t speak. He nodded at Alex and went to him.
Alex crushed him close. His whisper teased at Blake’s ear. “Can we put the rings on?”
Blake drew away from him. “You know we can.” He kissed Alex as love overwhelmed him.
