"Angel and Kay Kay, ain't no way in hell Imma let y'all pregnant asses be out here fighting," Kaison said. He looked back at his car where Keymani was watching everything.
"Let that bitch go Kaison. She got a helluva mouth on her!" Mesha yelled.
"What the fuck I tell you, huh?" he asked as he grabbed Mesha by the throat. "I'm not gone save yo ass too many more times before I have to fuck you up myself."
Mesha spit a wad of spit in his face. Without thinking clearly, Kaison backhanded the shit out of her. After the shock wore off, Mesha slapped him back.
"Aw, hell naw!" Kaily yelled as she socked Mesha in her face. She fell back from the blow and ran right into another fist, Kaiah's. She said fuck it, she wasn't as far along as Angel was so she was going to get in on the action. She wasn't going to tolerate any bitch disrespecting her twin brother.
Kaison had to hold Angel back because she was trying to jump in. "Let me go, Kaison," Angel yelled.
"Fuck no, you're already in pain and I'll be damned if I let you go and something happens to you or my baby. They got this. As a matter of fact, get in the car. Keymani crying and she don't need to be seeing this shit," he said.
Angel looked towards the direction of the car and her heart dropped to her stomach. Keymani was crying and yelling for her aunties to stop. While she headed for the car, Kaison went to get his sisters. "Alright, y'all chill out," he said, grabbing Kaiah who was stomping Mesha. He grabbed Kaily who was standing over her punching her.
"Fuck that bitch, Duke. She a little disrespectful hoe!" Kaiah yelled.
Since he knew she would be the harder of the two to calm down, he carried her to her car. He knew if something happened to this baby, he would never hear the end of it. Not only from Deonte, but also from his pops. "It's cool Kay Kay, I'm good and Angel good."
"I don't like that shit though Duke. Spitting is the lowest thing you could do to somebody," Kaiah fussed.
"You're right, but I'm good. Chill out. You know you're not supposed to be getting all riled up anyway," he said, trying to calm her down.
Kaiah put her head down, she was feeling bad for putting her baby in this situation. Anything could have happened and it would have been her fault. "You're right, let me go sit my ass down somewhere. I don't even know how to be pregnant." She shook her head.
Kaison chuckled. "Wait till you get as big as Angel. I bet you'll know how to be pregnant then."
"I believe you." She smiled.

Carlos had been losing his mind ever since Deonte had gotten locked up. He wanted to go visit him so bad but he knew he wouldn't be able to look him in the eyes. He went to his closet and reached up on the shelf and grabbed a shoe box down. The surveillance video from the barbershop was sitting inside of a shoe box just collecting dust. He had all the evidence that was needed to get his best friend off, but it was also the same evidence that could incriminate him.
He heard Kaily come through the front door so he put the box back on the shelf where he knew she wouldn't be able to reach it. He walked back into the kitchen where Kaily was taking food out of bags. "Carlos, you could have at least cleaned up," she said with an attitude.
"For what? That's your job," he said.
Kaily turned and looked him upside his head. "First of all, if you're going to sit on your ass all day, the least you could do is clean up. You have gotten so lazy these past weeks it don't make no damn sense. Second, I told you about smoking that weed shit in my house."
"I'm not trynna hear that shit. My fucking best friend could be sitting behind bars for the rest of his fucking life all over some shit Kaiah did." Carlos sneered.
"What the fuck she do, Carlos, huh? What did Kaiah do to put Deonte behind bars?" she asked getting in his face.
"She couldn't keep her fucking legs closed!" he exclaimed.
"Just like that nigga couldn't keep his dick in his pants!" Kaily yelled. "Kaiah didn't have shit to do with what happened in that barbershop, and you know it."
"The only thing I know is these hoes ain't loyal," he said.
"Who the fuck you calling a hoe? Yo ass been acting real shady lately and I don't know why, but I do know you better get yo shit together before ya ass be homeless," Kaily threatened.
Carlos laughed like she told a joke. "Yea right, you can't put me out my own shit."
"What the fuck is yours, Carlos? This house is in my fucking name. If I wanted to put ya ass out right now, it wouldn't be a damn thing you could do about it."
Carlos rushed Kaily and pinned her against the refrigerator by her throat. "Keep talking that slick shit if you want to, Kaily. Don't forget I made you! You wasn't shit but a hoe in the strip club until I came and changed ya life. Just as fast as I gave you all this shit, I can take it away. Don't get beside yourself," he said through gritted teeth.
Kaily was struggling to breathe as she scratched up Carlos' hands that were squeezing her neck tightly. She kneed him in his dick and hit him in his face when he bent down. "Don't you ever put your hands on me!" she yelled.
She turned to leave the kitchen, but Carlos snatched her back by her arms, slapping her in the process. "You better calm the fuck down!"
Kaily wasn't a scary chick and had been fighting dudes all her life. That little busted lip she had just received wasn't shit. She ran over to her drawer and grabbed a knife, stabbing him in his arm. "Ahhh!" Carlos hollered out. Kaily ignored him as she ran out of the house with her car keys in her hand. She was headed to the one place besides her Poppa’s where she knew she would be safe.
She knocked on the door, waiting patiently for an answer. Some female came to the door and Kaily walked past her like she didn't exist. "Lando!" she called out.
Orlando came from the back with just some basketball shorts and socks on. He was shocked to see Kaily, but was even more shocked to see her busted lip and marks around her neck. "What the fuck!" his voice boomed.
He rushed over to Kaily and took her face into his hand. She moved her face away from him and stepped back. "I think it's time for your company to bounce," she said.
"Yo, get ya shit and get gone. I'll holla at you later," he said.
"Really?" the girl asked with an attitude.
"He's not gon tell you twice," Kaily said with an attitude.
The girl rolled her eyes but grabbed her stuff and left without saying another word. Kaily looked Orlando up and down like he smelled. "You could have at least picked a cute one."
"That shit is irrelevant. What the fuck is wrong with your face?" he asked as he pulled her into the kitchen so he could put some ice on her lip.
"Me and Carlos got into a fight," she said dryly.
"He did this shit?" Orlando asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I guess so, but it's okay because I stabbed that bitch," Kaily said as he placed the ice on her lip.
"Bullshit. It ain't okay. He can't be fucking up my sexy lips." He smirked.
Kaily rolled her eyes with a smile. "Don't call me that asshole."
"Naw, but for real, Imma fuck that nigga up. Ain't no way in hell he can get away with this one."
"Honestly, right now I don't even care. I just wanna take a hot shower, eat something and lay down," Kaily said.
"C'mon," Orlando said, taking her hand in his. He led her to his room that had a bathroom in it. He ran her water how he knew she liked it.
"I hope you change those sheets while I'm in here," Kaily said seriously.
"What? Girl, stop." He laughed.
"I'm serious Orlando. I'm not laying on them sheets that you just fucked a bitch on." She rolled her eyes.
"Kaily, chill out. I wouldn't dare do you like that. Besides we didn't fuck, she just gave a nigga some head," he said before running out of the bathroom just as Kaily threw some soap at his head.
Orlando went ahead and changed his sheets like Kaily told him because he knew she wasn't going to get in the bed unless he did. He grabbed his phone to call Kaison. He was going to put him up on game about Carlos
wanting to be a bitch and put his hands on females.
"Yo, what's up?" Kaison answered.
"Your sister is over here with hand marks around her neck and a busted lip," Orlando said.
"Who? Which one?" Kaison asked.
"Kaily. Apparently she and homeboy got into a fight. It looked like he did more of the swinging if you ask me."
"Word? She straight?"
"You know your sister is gutta as hell, so she didn't shed a damn tear over it. But I'm feeling some type of way about the situation. You know how that goes," Orlando said as the bathroom door came open.
"Most definitely. Imma stop by and pay him a little visit though," Kaison said. He thought Carlos was cool and even considered him family, but he fucked up and crossed the line when he put his hands on his sister. That was an ultimate no-no.
"It's better if you get him before I do," said Orlando as Kaily just stood there with a towel around her.
"Thanks for hitting me up though.”
"No problem."
"Y'all be good over there." Kaison laughed before hanging up.
Kaily shook her head at Orlando. "Can I get a t-shirt or do I have to sleep in this towel?" she asked with a fake attitude.
"Or you could lose the towel and sleep butt ass naked. That would make a nigga night," Orlando flirted.
"Oh, really?" Kaily asked as she dropped the towel.
Orlando let out a whistle as he examined her body from head to toe. She was even more stacked than she was when they were together. "You are such a fucking tease." He shook his head as he got up to get her a shirt to sleep in.
"Grab me some boxers too. I don't want you trying to get me while I'm sleeping." Kaily laughed.
"You know me so well." He smiled devilishly.
After getting dressed, Kaily climbed in bed and scooted real close to Orlando. She threw her leg over him and laid her head on his chest. They used to lay like this all the time when they were together.
"Let me find out you used to cuddle with that nigga like this," he said with a raised eyebrow.
"Carlos didn't like to cuddle, so no I didn't. Let me find out you was cuddling with that bitch that was here." She rolled her eyes.
"You sound a little jealous, but I don't cuddle," he said.
Kaily looked at him sideways. "You're cuddling now."
"You're right and I shouldn't be cuddling with a girl who got a nigga," he said seriously.
"Really, Lando?" she asked. She moved her leg from around him and moved closer to the edge of the bed with her back towards him. All she wanted to do was be held and feel loved, but he was too busy worrying about Carlos.
"Still throw temper tantrums, huh?" Alright good night," he said, not feeding into her attitude. He wasn't about to let her use him to play get back or be a substitute for a nigga he was pretty sure she was going to run back to.

Sherae sat there waiting for Deonte to come in for his visit. She had been coming to see him twice a week since he had been locked up. It was clear to her that Kaiah didn't know how to do her job, so she was going to do it for her.
She had been trying to talk some sense into Deonte to get him to sign the papers because it was clear that his so-called wife didn't want him anymore. She wanted to leave him when he was down, so she was going to be the one to be there to lift him up.
"What's up?" Deonte asked.
"You look stressed," Sherae said.
"You would be too if you were in here."
She shifted in her seat. "So has she been down here yet?" she asked, referring to Kaiah.
"Nah, why?"
"My homegirl went to get her hair done at Angel's shop and she said Angel's pregnant sister was outside the shop fighting some girl," Sherae said.
Deonte looked at Sherae funny. He knew Kaiah couldn't be that dumb to be fighting while she was carrying his child. He knew she had more sense than that, or at least he hoped so. He wasn't even going to respond to that shit until he had a chance to talk to Kaiah himself.
Seeing that he wasn't going to say anything, she moved on to the next subject. "Have you thought about what I said?"
"I already told you once, Sherae, that I'm not divorcing her until I feel like it," he said sternly.
"I don't see why not. She clearly doesn't give a fuck about you. Who the hell lets their husband sit in jail and not come visit him? I bet she doesn't even know you go to court next week, does she?" she asked with an attitude. She was trying to show him just how much she was down for him, but he acted like his head was too far up Kaiah's ass to realize it.
"Are you done?" Deonte asked as if he was uninterested.
Sherae just sighed and got up. "Whatever Deonte, you'll see that she's not the one for you and when you do finally realize it, it'll be too late then."

Kaiah had been running like crazy. Between taking Synai to her counseling sessions, taking care of business at the mansion, looking for a building to put her event planning business in and going to doctor’s appointments, she didn’t have time to sit still. Synai had been staying with her lately, so she rushed home to make sure she was okay and ate.
When she walked through the door, she smelled food already and Shauntez was there. "Well, hello stranger. I haven't seen you in forever," she said.
"I know, I just been real busy. Decided to see what y'all was into over here," he said.
"Thanks for stopping by." Kaiah smiled as she walked into the kitchen. Synai was standing over the stove and talking on the phone. "Girl, what you cooking?" she asked.
Synai turned around and smiled. She handed Kaiah the phone and returned to her cooking business. "Hello," Kaiah said as she put the phone to her ear.
"What the fuck is this I hear about you fighting while you carrying my seed?" Deonte's voiced boomed.
"Oh, I'm fine Deonte. Thank you so much for asking," she said sarcastically.
"Fuck all that Kaiah, answer my question."
"I don't know what you heard but you and whoever said it can kiss my ass," she said with an attitude.
"Sherae..." Deonte said before he could catch himself.
"Fuck you and Sherae. That bitch can stop trying to report shit she don't know nothing about. And don't call me questioning me about some shit she told you," she yelled before hanging up the phone. Her mood had went from good to bad in just those two little seconds.
"You want me to beat her up for you?" Synai asked with a smile.
Kaiah couldn't help but laugh. "Girl no. I got this."
"So are you going to his court date Wednesday?"
Kaiah looked confused. "What court date?" she asked.
"The court date that all three of us will be at," Shauntez said as he walked into the kitchen. Kaiah walked out of the kitchen to grab her phone out of her purse. She dialed Keith's number, praying that he wasn't busy.
"Hello Kaiah, how may I help you?" Keith answered.
"Hey Keith. I'm hearing that Deonte is going to court Wednesday and I'm just wondering why didn't I know about it?" she asked.
"Well when I discussed it with Deonte, he said that he didn't want to tell you because he wasn't going to put any more stress on you. So I'm guessing he told you."
Kaiah sighed. "Actually, his little sister just told me. I don't think she knew I wasn't supposed to know." Kaiah was feeling some type of way about Deonte not wanting her to know that he was going to court.
"Well, since you know now, it's up to you if you show up or not. I mean, seeing as you are his wife, it would be better if you did show up," said Keith.
"I guess. Once again, thank you, Keith."
"As I already told you, no need to thank me. I'm just doing my job and what you paid me to do," Keith said before they ended their conversation.
Kaiah sat on the couch in deep thought. She knew her husband and she knew him very well. There was another reason he didn't want her at court, but what it was, she didn't know.
Shauntez walked in the living room and sat next t
o Kaiah. "So what's the word? What you gon do?"
"Your brother clearly doesn't want me to come to court," she said.
"Okay, and?" Shauntez shrugged. "When have you ever listened to anything he had to say?"
Kaiah looked at him, confused. "What do you mean, Tez? I always listen to Tae."
"No you don't." He shook his head. "Every time you two get into it or have a disagreement, you run away from the situation. You'll get mad and move out of the house. Now don't think I'm taking up for my brother because he has some serious issues too. Like he jumps to conclusions and lets his anger guide him instead of figuring out what's really going on. Now, you can either show up in court and let that nigga know you'll be there no matter what, or don't go and have another issue strain y'all already fucked up relationship."
Kaiah just slumped back on the couch and rubbed her belly. Leave it up to Shauntez to put some heavy shit on her mind. She was starting to wonder if she really that bad of a wife. She knew she had some issues, but she didn't think she was that bad. Her phone started ringing and she answered without looking at the caller i.d.
"Hello?"
"Why the hell you answering the phone so dry like you don't wanna talk to me?"
Kaiah perked up at the sound of that voice. It belonged to her brother’s best friend Zacorin who had been locked up for the past four years. "Z! What the hell? How you calling me straight through?" Kaiah asked excitedly.
Zacorin chuckled. "That's more like it, but you know they let a nigga go. I did my time, so now I'm free."
"Where you at asshole, and why didn't you tell me? How you get my number?" she asked all in one breath.
"Calm down, baby girl. You’re not pretty hard to find with your profession and all. Plus, I know somebody that know somebody who knew your number."
Kaiah knew he had to get her number from Orlando. Even though Orlando was a few years older than Kaison and Zacorin, they were all thick as thieves back in the day. When Zacorin got locked up, he left his club for Kaison to run until he got home. Kaiah was excited that he was home now because he had always been like a big brother to her.
