He opened his mouth, but she held up her hand, stopping him. “As for how long it took, that’s between me and them. If it makes you feel any better, I’m the guilty party on that account. I initiated. They didn’t come panting, pressuring me to do anything.”
The tension between Scott and James eased as they glanced at each other. When Austin reached over and grabbed both of their hands, she lowered her voice. “Please. I need for all of us to get along. Let this anger between the two of you go.”
“She’s right,” William said, softly. “This has gone on long enough, and James can’t help who he has feelings for. Austin has made herself clear. He won’t cross the line again. Will you, James?” Although he believed his words, William still let the threat hang in the air.
“No.” James’s hand stretched across the table to Scott. “I’m sorry. I went too far. That’s why I thought you should know. You’re a very lucky man.”
The waitress walked up, placing the tickets on the table. William reached out and grabbed it. Before he stood he wrapped his arm around Austin and cupped the side of her neck with his other hand. “I love you.”
“I love you, too.” Soft wisps of her hair brushed against his cheek as she turned in to rub her soft skin along his stubble. He hated to break away but it was time they left.
“I’m going head to the front and pay. We all good now?”
“We’re good,” Scott said, standing. “I’ll let you two get back to work.” He leaned forward, pressing his lips against Austin’s cheek. “See you when you get home. Drive safe.”
“Always.”
It wasn’t until William turned from the cashier to Scott that he noticed more than one person staring at him. Damn nosey people. He hadn’t even given it a second thought when he’d told Austin good-bye that someone might be watching. Especially after the Scott and James spectacle. He took one last look in her direction while he headed to the door. Well, she seemed oblivious. Austin’s attention was solely focused on them. He gave her small wave and let the rain wash over him. Hopefully, now she’d turn her attention to James and miss all the glowers covering the guest’s faces. Disapproval was something she could do without, and if it was possible, he’d try to shield her from it as much as he could.
Chapter 16
Dim lighting cast a romantic glow on the couples filling Da Monte. The upscale Italian restaurant nearly took Austin’s breath away as her and her men walked in. Deep red carpet covered the floor, and the black-and-white art accenting the walls immediately stood out. Wine glasses decorated the tables and Austin found herself slowly turning to her men.
Scott and William were both dressed in suits that fit and molded to their bodies in the perfect places. Their slim waists angled up to wide shoulders and a delicious shiver raced through her.
“Do you like it?” The bright smile on William’s face said he could tell she did.
“This place is amazing.” Good thing she’d worn the fancier of the two dresses she’d picked out. The black long-sleeve dress left her shoulders exposed, and her arms and upper chest were bare through the see-through lace. It came down to a little above her knees and hugged to her enough to show off her curves. Her dark curls were gathered and twisted tightly, cascading down her back. The awe and lust on the men’s faces when she’d walked out of the room would be with her always. Austin had never felt more beautiful while they’d stared.
The broken connection to Scott and William quickly registered. In her admiration of the restaurant, she’d dropped her hands and took a few steps forward. Austin quickly righted it by going back and looping her arms through theirs. The heat from their bodies once again put her at ease. They walked to the hostess while the petite blonde looked up their reservations.
“Have I told you how absolutely gorgeous you look tonight?” Scott’s breath brushed against her neck, making her instantly wet.
Damn, she wanted them so much. The few hour gap between getting home for work and leaving to De Monte’s was pure torture. She wanted them to fuck her then, but they’d held their ground, and she’d probably cursed a million times since.
Austin turned her face in closer to his and kept her voice low. “Have I told you how much I want you to pull up this dress, bend me over, and slide your cock in my ass?”
A low growl vibrated Scott. “Fuck. You just wait. My cock is going to pound you so hard, you’re going to feel it days afterward. Every step, every time you sit down, you’re going remember how full you feel when I’m deep inside of you. And I’m going to be buried, Austin. Don’t mistake that. Tonight may appear romantic, and it is, but when we get you home, there’s not going to be anything sweet about it. I want you sweating, panting, and so incoherent that you can’t even talk straight.”
Austin gripped tighter while her pussy clenched. Holy shit, she wanted them to take her right here.
“You know I can both hear you, right?” William drew close. “And I am not getting left out of this conversation.” His fingers rose the length of her arm, applying a gentle pressure, yet the dominance behind it couldn’t have been clearer. William’s aura radiated out like a beacon sending off signals that screamed mine. He licked his lips, meeting her eyes. “Do you like rope, Austin?”
The hostess waved them to follow. Austin felt her legs go weak. If it weren’t for Scott and William holding her, she was sure she would have dropped to the floor in a puddle of unadulterated need. When it came to the two of them, she didn’t want them to have plain ol’ sensual sex. That was great, sometimes, but she needed more. Needed them to hammer away the pain of her past with thrusts of pure steel.
Two steps led up to a hidden booth that was fitted to the corner of the room. It wrapped around to mold against the cream-colored walls. The divider hid them from the majority of the outside world, like their own little elegant haven. Heat flared over Austin’s skin as she slid to the middle. The men took their seats and moved in close while the hostess placed the menus down.
“The waiter will be right with you.” They nodded, but no one said a world until the blonde disappeared.
“Answer the question, baby.” William’s hand settled on her thigh. “Rope.”
She instantly trembled at the word, and it wasn’t in a bad way.
“What do you think when the word enters your mind?” William continued.
Flashes of her arms and feet bound by the rough texture had Austin wiggling to get Will’s hand closer. The slick wetness that rested along the inside of her thighs was proof that she was not the women she was four months ago.
The slow advance of William’s fingers paused as the waiter stepped through. Austin leaned forward on the table to hide his arm. A wine list lay before her and she pushed it away, instead glancing at the other options. She’d never been much a wine drinker, although she always secretly wished she was. Something about the flavor just wasn’t appealing to her at all, which was a bummer.
“Good evening.” As the waiter introduced the wine they were sampling, Scott and William opted to try some, but she shook her head, trying to focus on the words before her instead of William’s once again evolving touch. “So, do you know what you’d like to drink?”
“I’ll have some water, with lemon.” Shaking laced almost every syllable she spoke. Fuck, more. She wanted his hand to keep moving. To touch her pussy and sate the ache that was quickly taking over.
Austin looked back and forth as the William ordered a Scotch, and Scott opted for the same thing as her. The instant the waiter disappeared, she let out a pent of breath and moved her hips down.
Lips brushed against her neck while Scott’s hand slid under her dress, too. With a tug, he completely exposed her, spreading her wide. Cool air brushed against her bare pussy and she couldn’t wait for them to discover it.
“I can feel your juices all the way down here,” Scott said, nipping at the sensitive skin. “You must have been pretty turned on from our walk to the table.”
“That’s because she wants the rope.
” Inch by agonizing inch, William took his time to climb higher. An animal pounded against Austin’s insides, begging to be released.
Enough of this. They were taking too long. And she had no doubt they were doing it intentionally. “Touch me. Please. I can’t take it.” She tried to scoot down, only to feel fingers bite into her thigh.
“We’re in control, baby. Not you.” The tip of William’s tongue dipped along her collar bone causing her to moan. At his teeth grazing, Austin was sure she was going to either come right then and there, or lose all control and end up doing lord only knew what.
Again, his fingers began to move up the wetness and Scott’s followed on the other side. They both touched the smooth folds of her pussy at the same time. Sounds poured from their mouths while their fingers met over her entrance. “Yes. Both of you finger me at the same time.”
The corner of William’s mouth rose into smile so dark, she knew he was promising unspoken ecstasy. He looked at Scott, who mirrored his expression. One of their thumbs brushed over her clit and Austin reached out and gripped the edge of the table.
“So fucking wet and ready for us.” Scott nuzzled closer. The growth on his face was beginning to shadow his face, leaving a blissful burn in his path, back up to her ear. He looked dark and dangerous wearing his suit. It was so unlike the men she knew, and yet, they were the same, minus William’s surge of dominance, which she was loving.
Two fingers, so thick and long, eased into her pussy. Austin grabbed to the table, feeling her eyes close. Yes, this was what she needed after her horrible day. William and Scott meant everything to her. There wasn’t anything she wasn’t willing to give them. But they never wanted, they just constantly gave. Gave her pleasure, love. There had to be something she could do to express to them how important they were.
A gasp exploded from Austin’s mouth as the men’s fingers intertwined, and they began thrusting into her slow and deep. Their linking to each other while inside of her meant so much that it froze her mind. It had beautiful signification, and became another thing she wanted to store away to always remember.
“You’re ours.” Hair tickled her neck at Scott’s declaration. Austin couldn’t help the small spasm that jerked her body. “You know that, though, don’t you?”
“Yes.”
“Tell us.” William’s arm moved lower, pushing their joined fingers impossibly deeper. “I want to hear you say it.”
“I belong to you. Only the two of you.” There was no delay in her response. She knew after James’s admission, earlier, they were wary. Especially, since she saw him nearly five days a week. But they truthfully had nothing to worry about. James may have been an attractive, successful businessman, but he didn’t affect her that way. Not even close.
Pressure trailed down the inside of her pussy as they unlocked their fingers and stretched her with their withdraw. As if they’d known, William closed her legs and the waiter walked around the corner.
“Are you all ready to order?”
Shit. Austin looked down at the menu she’d yet to open.
“We’re actually going to need a few more minutes.” Scott opened his and began looking through it, as did William. Dammit, Austin couldn’t even see the letters. Blurriness covered her vision and it took three times to blink it away.
The waiter disappeared while they searched things Austin had never even heard of, more or less could pronounce. If there weren’t descriptions at the bottom, she’d have been screwed.
“I think I’ll just get a steak. Probably the six ounce. Medium well.” Thank God they had that on the menu. She glanced up and they both shut theirs, nodding. Apparently she wasn’t the only one.
Austin shifted uncomfortably, the arousal still heavy in her core. “I think I’m going to the ladies’ room. Can y’all order for me?”
“Sure thing.” William placed a light kiss on her cheek and eased out of the booth to let her free. The heels were almost impossible to walk in as she swept past a few tables and turned to the left. Humming seemed to be thrumming through every inch of her body like constant tiny electric currents.
The door swung open as a woman with red hair walked out. Austin smiled and stepped out of her way, catching the door just before it closed. Mirrors rested against the wall to her side and she took in her appearance before she gripped the counter and lowered her head. Although she was having a great time, dinner couldn’t be over fast enough. She wanted to go home. To be in the arms of the men she’d lost herself to.
A small creaking noise from the main door had her head coming up. Before Austin could scream, John had his arm around her waist and his hand over her mouth. He swept her into a stall, locking the door behind them.
“Damn, wife, you look just as good as I remember.”
Austin bucked against him, but his fingers pressed tighter into her cheek until she was sure she was going to have bruises. Tears came to her eyes and she closed her lids against the nausea that threatened to make her ill.
“Those men you’re with. The ones you’re fucking.” His hand eased, just enough to slam her head back into the wall. “Are they stupid? Do they not care what I can do to them?” He spun her against the door as the weak barrier behind her started to groan under their weight. John’s other hand came up to settle against her throat. “I’m going to make this crystal clear for you, love. You’re going to pack your shit, and you’re going to come home. If you don’t, a broken fence is going to be the least of your cowboys’ problems. Do you understand what I’m saying?” The grip grew tighter around her esophagus until stars covered Austin’s vision. Air wasn’t coming through and she knew it wouldn’t be long before she passed out.
Panic set in and like an awakening beast, Austin clawed at his face with everything she had. Never once had she’d fought back, but she wasn’t the same person she was before. This man had hurt her long enough and she wasn’t going to take it anymore.
Nails raked over John’s cheek, drawing blood. He reared back and backhanded her before she could mentally prepare herself. Lights exploded. Austin flew into the wall so hard her head bounced off like a ping pong ball and she fell to the floor.
“Fucking bitch.” John touched his cheek, bringing his hand back. He stared at the blood and Austin didn’t wait for what she knew was coming. She slid under the stall door just as a woman came walking inside. The reflection she caught of herself showed a woman with a wild expression. One who had blood seeping from her nose and red blotches on her face and throat.
The image vanished just as fast as she saw it. The stall flew open and Austin raced out of the main door, colliding with Scott. The horror that flashed across his face turned into pure rage. The woman rushed from the bathroom and Scott flew in.
Did she go inside or… Austin raced for the table. “William, come, please.”
“What the…” The table swayed as he pushed it out of the way and wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her out of their haven.
“Please. Scott went into the restroom and John’s in there. You have to go make sure he’s going to be okay.”
The waiter walking by stumbled as his eyes landed on Austin’s face. William ripped him up by the collar of his shirt, pulling him close. “Call the cops. You tell them to get their ass here fast. Someone might not be walking out of this place alive tonight.”
The waiter nearly fell down as William let go and rushed toward the ladies room. Austin’s feet barely touched the ground in his long strides. Banging exploded behind the closed door. William nudged it open, all the while clutching to her. Austin’s hand came to her mouth. Whatever she’d mentally prepared herself for, it wasn’t this.
Chapter 17
Pain pulsed in Scott’s back at the rhythm of his racing heartbeat. Half the restroom stalls were knocked down. The plastic paper towel dispenser had become dislodged when he’d slammed John’s head into it. Nothing was enough as they tore into each other.
The crimson coming from Austin’s face had been like a red fla
g to the bull that rested deep within. Scott barely remembered making his way into the room, not to mention nearly plowing down the poor woman in his attempt to get in faster. All he kept seeing was the terror Austin had while she’d burst through that door. It replayed over and over, feeding him adrenaline like a steroid. He used it. Drank it in with everything he had.
How many times had he watched her close inside of herself at a name, or a TV show? So many things reminded her of that son of a bitch, and although she never said anything, the hollowness in her eyes he had noticed when she’d arrived would shell over the happiness he and William had brought her. Scott hated it. Hated this man whose blood was on his hands.
No matter how much he knew he should stop punching him, Scott couldn’t. He wanted John to feel ten million more times the pain than he’d brought Austin. Wanted him to experience the powerlessness of what it felt like to not be in control.
“You like to hit women, you piece of shit?” He slammed his fist into his cheek again. “Never again. Do you hear me?”
Hands reached up trying to deflect the blows, but they were useless against Scott’s size and power. He hit him again. “You get this through your head. Austin isn’t yours anymore. She’s ours. All fucking ours. If you ever so much as think about coming after her again, sheriff or no sheriff, I will kill you. Do you understand? Fucking dead. No one will ever find you.”
Scott reared back when something caught the inside of his elbow.
“Enough.” William pulled him to his feet. “Cops are on their way. Let them handle this trash. I think you’ve done enough.”
Austin was molded to William’s side. Her whole body was trembling while she stared down at them. Blood was smeared across her face, her eyes red as the tears silently escaped. Scott stood and pulled her into his arms. “He’s not going to hurt you anymore. I promise, no one is. William and I won’t let that happen.”
A groan came from the ground. John rolled to his side, his face bloody and already swelling from the beating he’d gotten. He lay there, half out of it. Minutes ticked by and felt like forever. John was starting to push to his feet when the cops stepped through. His legs gave out and he collapsed back down.
