Brogan explained everything and Rook laughed which pissed the other man off. “Seriously? After all we went through to get him out of there you’re laughing?”

“No, that’s not it at all. Do you remember when everything was going down and Cadence gave me that potion. You know the one I took with us to Hell just in case. Well, something told me to keep it close. I’ve been carrying it around for weeks now.” Rook dug into his pocket and pulled out a small vial. “Cadence told me that it would hold someone to this side of the veil for as long as the user willed it.” He handed it to Jericho. “Here, you’re not leaving anytime soon.”

Brogan grinned, pulled Rook into a fierce hug before spinning and staring at Jericho, “What are you waiting for. Bottom’s up, babe.”

“You think that’s what they say in the bedroom too?” Rook whispered to West who just rolled his eyes.

As soon as Jericho drank the bottle a shudder went down his body and a soft pop filled the air.

“It’s gone. Their hold on me is gone,” Jericho laughed at the unusual feeling.

“I’m so happy for you brother.” A soft voice whispered through the alley. “I’m glad you found your happiness, don’t ever let it go.”

Jericho spun around searching, but saw no one. “Where are you, Valac? It was you who helped wasn’t it? Let me return the favor. We can free you too.”

  “Babe, what is it?”

“My baby brother. That was his voice, he was the one helping you guys. He opened the portal.”

“Is he stuck in Hell, like you were?”

Jericho shrugged, “I don’t know. Until he spoke to me I didn’t even know he was still alive. But I swear that I will find out and if he is I will get him out.”

  About the Author

Hi, I'm Sheri Lyn. I live in Florida with the love of my life, my dog Koda a Corgi/Dwarf Chow mix. I love living here and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.

I just started my journey into the indie book world. I have books in several genres in the works. I’m an avid reader who kept dreaming of a story that wanted to be told and that's where my first book was born.

When I'm not reading or proofing, I'm at the evil day job where my sanity is tested on a daily basis. My sarcastic quips can provide a much-needed break until I can return home to Koda and books, my two joys.

Please visit my website to keep up with my books and to sign up for my newsletter for excerpts, giveaways and fun.
