Leaving His Mark Page 3

I stand behind my desk and wait until my computer shuts down. It’s been a long day and I can’t wait to get home and relax. The afternoon had been busy and full of appointments since Paul had a lot of walk in appointments. Now, it’s nearly nine o’clock and I'm only just getting ready to leave now. I'm normally out of here by six but Gabe had asked me to hang around and lock up once Paul finished with his last client. Even though Paul has been here longer than me, he still isn’t trusted with a set of keys, and since Gabe needed to be somewhere important it was left to me to lock up. I have to admit I'm not very comfortable with being left with Paul on my own, but since the day is done and I’ve barely seen him I can’t complain.

I reach my hands up above my head and stretch out my back. It’s been feeling tight with all the sitting I’ve done today. I can’t wait to get out of here and walk for a bit, it’s amazing how stiff your body becomes when you don’t move for a while. I drop my arms and turn to grab my bag from the table behind me. I stop suddenly when I come face to face with Paul, making me jump back slightly. His eyes are dark and focused on my stomach. I suddenly become incredibly aware of the gap between my top and skirt, showing too much skin for his eyes. I feel really uncomfortable standing here with him looking at me like he is. He looks like he wants to devour me and it makes my stomach cramp with nerves. I need to get away from him.

“Are you ready to go now?” He slowly lifts his eyes to mine, taking in every single inch of my body on the way up. The intensity of his stare has me feeling like his hands are actually touching me and it makes me shudder. I take a step back from him, watching as he licks his lips.

“Yeah. I'm just heading out now, just wanted to make sure you had a way to get home.” I don’t but I refuse to tell him this. I’ll be walking home but I don’t want him to know that I’ll be on my own.

“My friend is coming to pick me up. I just have a few things to finish up here and then I will be meeting her.” He nods his head and moves around the desk, his eyes never leaving me. He walks to the front door and turns back before leaving.

“Make sure you lock up after I leave, I don’t like the idea of you being here on your own.” I smile at him, suddenly feeling bad about panicking just now. He’s just trying to be nice and making sure I'm safe and I'm treating him like he’s a criminal.

“I will, and thank you.” He nods again before leaving the shop. I walk behind him and lock the door like I promised. I need to get over this uneasy feeling I have about Paul, just because he looks a little too long at me doesn’t make him a bad person. He has never done anything to me so I need to give him a chance. Walking back to my desk I vow to myself to ease up on the judgement against Paul. I just hope I can do it.

  Chapter Three

I take the last mouthful of beer from the bottle in my hand and look down to the end of the bar and catch Roxy’s eye. She smiles before making her way towards me. I’ve just had a meeting with a rep from a company that wants to start supplying the shop with ink. I hate those kinds of things but he offered such a great price I had to give him some of my time. Now I know why the supplies had been so cheap, they were all from China and I’m pretty sure that they weren’t even for tattooing humans. All the instructions were in Chinese so I couldn’t even confirm what they contained.

Now I'm in the bar having a much needed drink with Clay, who was thankfully available when I called.

“Want another one hot stuff?” I nod before turning back to the conversation with Clay. I have no idea what he’s on about now since I stopped listening about five minutes ago. That’s the thing with Clay, as long as you’re looking at him he’s happy to keep talking. I have known him since I moved to the area almost ten years ago now. I arrived with nothing but the clothes on my back and about twenty pounds in my pocket. With nowhere to go and not knowing a single soul, I ended up in a rough area at the wrong time. I was mugged by three guys and left in a pile of my own blood, which is where Clay found me lying in the morning when he came to open up his brother’s record shop. He had no option but help me since I was lying across the entrance stopping him from getting in. He took me into the back of the shop, cleaned me up and fed me before he questioning me about what had had happened to me and what my plans were. Once I admitted I was a run away he offered me a room at his and his brother’s house. They both shared a small house that they had inherited from their Grandmother and luckily enough for me, there was a spare room. I refused initially knowing I couldn’t pay for it but he told me to stop being a twat and we have pretty much been friends since. He even got me a part time job at a friend’s tattoo shop, starting my love of the craft.

Roxy put the beer on the bar beside me and rubs my arm to get my attention.

“There you go, Gabe. Want it on your tab?” I nod my head at her before grabbing the bottle.

“Yeah thanks, Roxy. If you don’t mind.” I know Roxy wants something to happen between us. I’ve been coming to this bar for about six years now and ever since she started two years ago she has made it clear that she likes me. There is no way I would ever go there though, not that she isn’t great, she is. She’s beautiful, in that ‘I spend two hours getting ready every night’ sort of way, but beautiful all the same. There are a few reasons I don’t plan on getting with Roxy, the main being I don’t do relationships. I’ve never been with someone for more than one night, and even those occasions are few and far between. I’ve plenty of interest from women but I just don’t take them up on their offer. I like sex, actually I love sex but I'm not the hit it and quit it type which leads to a pretty damn boring sex life. If I'm honest I'm not sure what I want when it comes to women. I hate man pleasers. I like someone with a lot of attitude, someone who can make me laugh, but to get those girls you need to put in a lot more effort. That’s something I'm not willing to do, I don’t do chasing or relationships. Life taught me that love never made you happy.

This bar is my escape from everything, a place to come with friends and just chill. I would have to stop coming here if I gave in to Roxy’s advances and to me, that’s just not worth it. I turn back to Clay who hasn’t stopped talking this whole time and try to figure out what he’s going on about.

“Then she invited her friend over. Oh my god, you should’ve seen this girl. Tits like you have never seen before. They wanted to have a threesome with me, but of course I said no. I’m not that kind of guy.” The mouthful of beer that I was swallowing gets caught in my throat as a laugh tries to escape at the same time. I start to cough trying not to spit anything out my nose. I eventually manage to swallow but I continue to cough for a few minutes. Clay’s hitting me on the back trying to help me but all he’s doing is hurting.

“Holy fuck man, I'm fine. Stop beating the shit out of me.” I try to compose myself, wiping the tears from the corners of my eyes. Clay reaches out and pinches my cheek.

“Oh, I'm sorry, Honey. Did that hurt your delicate little body?” I stare at him trying to contain my urge to hit him. I would knock him on his arse if there was actually a chance of him going down. Clay is a huge guy. Not all muscle but not all fat. He works his nights as a bouncer at the local nightclub and he fits the look perfectly. He is slightly shorter than me but I'm sure he’s twice as wide. With hair so short it’s nearly a buzz cut and a resting bitch face, he isn’t what you call approachable. I have tried to take him on a couple of times over the years but it never turns out well.

“Don’t try it, Princess. You don’t want me to knock you on your arse again in front of all these people.” He smiles, knowing exactly what I'm thinking. I have known him too long to be able to hide anything from him. I take a large drink from my beer deciding to stay quiet.

I'm just about to restart the conversation when I become aware of someone standing close next to me. From the look on Clay’s face I can tell it’s a woman, an attractive one at that. He has this stupid grin on his face and I can tell that if I don’t like this girl he’s going to try to get some attention fr
om her. I turn in my seat and I'm met by warm brown eyes.

“Hi. Um, my names Jenna and I was wondering if you’d like a drink?” I slowly let my eyes work their way over Jenna. She’s tall, adding to her height with heels. Her long blonde hair is swept back into a ponytail giving a sleek look. She’s wearing a short black skirt with a white vest top and she looks like she could be on the cover of Sports Illustrated. She has a natural beauty that most woman would pay good money for but she doesn’t look fake, maybe a little too much make up but I'm not a fan of make up so I always think it’s too much. I prefer the natural look, to be able to see the blush a woman gets, the natural sparkle in her big green eyes. Whoa. Green eyes? Where did that come from? I try to get my mind back onto the woman in front of me, trying to show some interest and get my body to like what I'm seeing but it just isn’t working.

“I already have one.” I hold up my nearly full bottle. She follows the bottles movement and bites her lip with a practiced grace. She obviously does this a lot but she is wasting her time with me. I know who she won’t be wasting her time with and that’s confirmed when I look at Clay out of the corner of my eye. I try to keep the laughter in as I watch him almost swallow his tongue as she leans forward putting more cleavage on show.

“I could get you another one, or maybe I could get you something else.” She places her hand on my arm and I have a sudden urge to rip it off. It’s a weird sensation and not one I’ve had before. I take a minute to try to reason why I'm having such an adverse reaction to her touch.

“I’m sure Gabe would love something else. What are you offering?” My urge to knock Clay out has just increased tenfold. I’m trying to get rid of Jenna and he’s bloody encouraging her.

“I'm sure Gabe is fine with his beer.” I growl this answer in Clay’s direction before turning to back to Jenna.

“Thank you for the offer but I'm going to give it a miss tonight.” She looks shocked, clearly she isn’t used to getting turned down, and to be fair she probably doesn’t with her looks. She nods her head slowly and walks away from me, back to her group of friends.

“Are you fucking insane? How could you pass up a woman like that, she was offering herself on a fuck me platter? Do you not like sex?” I laugh at Clay’s dramatics. He shouldn’t be surprised anymore by my lack of interest in the opposite sex.

“Oh I love sex, I'm just not in the mood tonight. I came here to see you, why would I want to spend the night with someone else?” He looks at me incredulously.

“Because I'm not gonna suck your dick!” I close my eyes as I imagine every pair of eyes in the bar looking at us.

My head is pounding when I get to work the next morning. Damn Clay and his persuasive ways. I hadn’t planned on drinking so much last night but after turning down Jenna’s advances, Clay took it on himself to get me laid and I knew I would need to be drunk for that.

Too many shots later he got his wish when I took a beautiful redhead by the hand and dragged her towards the bathrooms. I had no intentions of doing anything with her but I was drunk and she had roaming hands, there was no way I could resist. I pushed her against the sink as soon as the door locked behind us, my lips finding hers in a rush. It’s been a few months since I was with a woman and I hadn’t realise how much I needed it until then. The feel of her lips, the gentle push of her breasts against my chest and her pussy rubbing against my thigh did all the right things to make my dick painfully hard. I pushed my fingers through her long hair, grabbing a handful of it and pulling. Her head dropped back giving me access to her neck where I traced my lips and tongue down it towards her breasts. She continued to rub against my thigh, letting me feel her heat through my jeans.

When her hand connected and traced along the edge of my erection, I lost what control I was holding on to, making me move faster than I had planned.

I grabbed her by the hips and spun her in place, forcing her to bend over the sink. She met my eyes in the mirror and I saw the heat enter them as I slowly dragged her skirt up over her hips, leaving her bare to the air. If I had been sober I would have wondered why she was naked under her clothes but all I had cared about was that it was one less thing in the way. My fingers traced down the crack of her arse, heading between her legs and towards her heat. She was dripping wet already, which had a groan leaving me from deep in my chest, I pushed a finger into her and her head dropped forward with her own moan. I had to be inside her, it was a sudden and very urgent need flowing through my body. I grabbed at the buttons on my jeans with clumsy fingers, eager to free my dick. As I pulled down my zip a very desire killing thought went through my mind. Shit.

“I’m sorry, this isn’t going to happen.” Her eyes flashed up to mine with a look of confusion.

“I don’t have a condom.” It’s not something I carry around with me but I made a note to fill all my pockets and my wallets with them. She smiled at me, her eyes never leaving mine.

“Its okay, Gabe. I’m clean and I’m on the pill.” I let a little laugh out as she spoke. There is not enough alcohol in the world to make me not use a condom. No matter how clean she might be, I don’t stick it in without a cover.

“I'm sure you are, but that’s not happening, Sexy.” She rolled her eyes at me and let out a sigh. I started to tuck my now semi erect dick back into my jeans getting ready to leave.

“No, don’t do that.” She stopped me in my tracks as she reached for her bag that was sitting next to the sink. She rummaged around in it for a minute before she produced a square foil packet. She had one the whole time? That’s why I don’t trust anyone with this shit. She handed it to me over her shoulder and leaned over again waiting on me. When I didn’t make a move she looked back over her shoulder and shrugged.

“Hey, you can’t blame a girl for trying. I like sex without them, it feels better.” The thought of how many men she has been without a condom ran through my head but the thought quickly left as she arched her back and rubbed her arse over my dick. He made the decision for me of how this was going to end.

I ripped the foil packet open with my teeth and slipped the condom over my dick, rubbing it a few times to make sure I was as hard as possible. I groaned again as I placed the tip against her opening, ready to take her. I placed my hands on her hips as I slipped slowly into her body. I closed my eyes and focused on the feeling of her tightness hugging me. Fuck, she felt so good. When I was fully inside her I took a deep breath, trying to calm my pulse that was vibrating through my body. I shouldn’t wait so long between women.

I felt her arse move against me, trying to urge me into moving and I did. I started hard, pulling out almost fully before slamming into her body. I could feel my balls bouncing as I thrust hard into her tight body. I felt the tingling through them, telling me that I wouldn’t last long. I continued to pound as I listened to … shit. What’s her name? I listened to her moans as I used her for my pleasure, my dick slipping easily into her wet pussy. I felt my body start to tighten as I got closer to release and I knew I had to warn her.

“Shit. I’m so close … you need…you need to come. Shit.” I felt her walls tighten around me, milking me as she came, pushing me over the edge into orgasm. I thrust into her a few more times as I came down from the ecstasy. I opened my eyes and see her huge smile in the mirror. I grab the edge of the condom as I pulled out of her, making sure not to make a mess. I barely managed to take a step back from her when she pulls her dress down and grabs her bag.

“So thanks. That was great, Gabe.” She smiled again as she unlocked the door and left before I even get a chance to take the condom off.

That was the last thing I remember about last night but I'm sure when I returned to Clay there were a few more shots drunk. It was a good night, actually it was a great night but I'm not sure if the headache is worth it. I grab a bottle of energy drink from my fridge and down a few painkillers, hoping they will clear my head a little. I hear the buzzer on the back door go and walk out of my office. It’s too early
for Paul so I head through to say morning to Rhys.

“Wow. You look … well actually you look like shit.” Her giggle follows her comments and I to walk away from her, anything to save my head from exploding.

“Please, for the love of God Rhys, don’t speak so loud.” She laughs harder, relishing in my self inflicted pain. I watch her as she moves behind her desk, grabbing something from the filing cabinet. She looks sexy as hell today. Rhys has a personal style about her that makes her unique and pretty damn hot. She seems to be a mixture of very girly and edgy all at the same time. Her hair is light blonde and hangs all the way down her back, almost to her arse. She puts these coloured sections through it, giving it that funky edge. Today it’s pink, matching her short skirt, but the skirt has all this crazy black material underneath it causing it to flare out from her hips. She’s wearing a black corset top with pink laces carrying on her pink theme. The finishing touches are the pink knee-high socks and black Doc Martins, I swear she looks fucking edible. Usually I try not to notice what she’s wearing, it just causes problems with my dick.

She turns back and returns to her seat. I sit on the edge of the desk trying to look like I wasn’t just checking her out.

“How’s the appointments looking today?” She turns and grabs the appointment book for me and turns it to face me.

“You’re fully booked which isn’t a shock. You might need to work late because your five o’clock changed her time to six.” She holds up her hand in front of me before I get a chance to cut her off. She always knows when I'm about to bitch.
